  • Modern people are exposed to obesity problems with convenient lifestyle, over nutrition, and lack of exercise. The greater the desire for longevity, the greater the problem of obesity. People work out in neighborhood parks, walkways, and hiking trails to improve their obesity. The municipal government encourages its residents to provide various exercise information by setting up signs on the promenade or hiking trail. However, conventional exercise signs do not provide various athletic and health information because they are built-in fixed type. Therefore, this study suggests scientific exercise management through smart health screen in accordance with the healthcare IT age. The IT-based smart health screen provides real-time calorie consumption, step count, and heart rate. The systematic and scientific exercise management provided by the smart health screen helps the locals to control the amount of exercise and strength suitable for each individual. In addition, walking without special cost makes it possible to manage health and obesity. We hope that our research will be of little help in resolving obesity.

  • Rapid Aging Society demands the transformation of medical paradigm of diagnosis and treatment towards prevention and management. This paper explores the norm and development of digital health care, focusing on Busan Metropolitan City. Digital health care which combines new ICT technology and medical technology is predictive, preventive, personalized and participatory; and suggests alternative to solve the problem of demographic changes and increasing social cost of medical welfare. Community Health Center in Busan is unique one based in the minimum community of collecting data from self-leading health management. Digital transformation using basic health data and social information can build preventive care system in the community. Easy access leads community center to test bed of developing new technology, as a living lab. In order to use the newly developed goods and service effectively, user-participatory test is nicessary. Finally community nurse and activists can specify health-welfare converged service through digital transformation empowerment training.

  • U-healthcare provides people with many conveniences and keeps their health. As facility centered medical environment is being changed to patient centered one, however, various problems are emerging. These problems range from institutional problems to technological, producer related, and user related ones. The researcher took interested in problems originating from users, in particular, elderly patients and guardians taking care of an elderly patient. The main focus of this study is the direction of serious contents design for training skills in HMI of U-healthcare equipment and developing emergency coping abilities. In this study, I started from research on elderly cognitive psychology and elders' motor reactions and interconnected the characteristics of various digital content forms. The results of this study are expected to be useful for the rapidly expanding elderly population and in the U-healthcare industry.

  • Recently, the 4 generation industry revolution is developed with advanced and combined with a variety of new technologies. Conventional healthcare system is applied with IoT application. It provides many advantages with mobility and swift data transfers to patient and doctor. In despite of these kinds of advantages, it occurred security issues between basic devices and protocols in their applications. Especially, internet of things have restricted and limited resources such as small memory capacity, low capability of computing power, etc. Therefore, we can not utilize conventional mechanism. In this paper, we analyzed attacks and vulnerability in terms of security issues. To analyze security structure, features, demands and requirements, we solve the methods to be reduced security issues.

  • Humans must restore tired bodies and minds during sleep. Sleep as much as eating a meal many people looking for a hospital can not sleep, but a matter of course. The smart phone is loaded in the most recent studies it has been conducted to provide a service to the patient or medical personnel U-healthcare in the field of smart phone-based medical applications as with a variety of sensors, including an acceleration sensor. In this paper, the aim of providing an Android-based applications to use a variety of sensors incorporated in the popularity of smart phones to induce normal water flow to recognize the user's action.

  • Ubiquitous healthcare system is system that monitors and manages user's health information, and most important in the healthcare system is accuracy of the measured health data. But, the accuracy changes remarkably according to user's motion artifacts in real life. To elevate accuracy of health data, we proposed new algorithm to detect maximum point of pulse wave for heart rate extraction. and the proposed algorithm is to detect maximum points detect of pulse wave in photo-plethysmography signal included motion artifacts by fuzzy inference and multi sub-band filters. In results of experiment to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we could verify the proposed algorithm extracted maximum point of pulse wave in complex motion artifacts.

  • Lifelog is a digital record of an individual collected from various digital sensors, and includes activity amount, sleep information, weight change, body mass, muscle mass, fat mass, etc. Recently, as wearable devices have become common, a lot of high-quality lifelog data is being produced. Lifelog data shows the state of an individual's body, and can be used not only for individual health care, but also for causes and treatment of diseases. However, at present, AI/ML-based correlation analysis and personalization are not reflected. It is only at the level of presenting simple records or fragmentary statistics. Therefore, in this paper, the correlation/relationship between lifelog data and disease, and AI/ML technology inside lifelog data are examined, and furthermore, a lifelog data analysis process based on AI/ML is proposed. The analysis process is demonstrated with the data collected in the actual Galaxy Watch. Finally, we propose a future convergence service roadmap including lifelog data, diet, health information, and disease information.

  • The healthcare industry is expected to the range of services will be expanded and management will be done throughout the life cycle by combining Big Data, Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), and IT equipment. This paper describes a metacarpophalangeal joint flexion and interphalangeal joint flexion of the thumb as one area of healthcare. Metacarpophalangeal joint flexion refers to bending the thumb metacarpophalangeal joint, and interphalangeal joint flexion refers to bending the thumb interphalangeal joint. When bending the joints, if the angle is below a certain angle, or if you feel pain, you have an abnormality. In addition, prevention and therapy of the thumb joint were also suggested. Experiments were performed on metacarpophalangeal joint flexion and interphalangeal joint flexion in the thumb joint in the case of 50 people in their 50s. The system is limited to a portion of the body, but if it is partially expanded, it will be the basis for building a Big Data healthcare system.

  • When PPG signal is used in mobile healthcare devices, the accuracy of the measured heartbeat decreases from the influence by the movement of the user. The reason is that the frequency band of the noise overlaps the frequency band of the PPG signal. In order to remove these same noises, the methods using frequency analysis method or application of acceleration sensor have been investigated and showed excellent performance. However, in applying these methods to low-cost healthcare devices, it is difficult to apply these methods because of much processing time and sensor's cost. In order to solve these problems, this study proposed the filter design method using an adaptive notch filter and the fuzzy inference system to extract more accurate heart rate in real time and evaluated its performance. As results, it showed better results than the other methods. Based on the results, when applying the proposed method to design the mobile healthcare device, it is possible to measure the heartbeat more accurately in real time.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the direction of industrial policy by comparing the employment inducement effect on the related industries of the digital bio-healthcare industry. The analysis data used the three-year input-output table measured by the Bank of Korea. First, the research method was rewritten into 7 major industries to compare statistical data by period. Second, the Bank of Korea's industry-related analysis methodology was utilized. Third, the weight was reflected and compared by employment, production, and investment sectors of the digital bio-healthcare industry. As a result of the analysis, first, the employment sector had a higher effect than the average of the entire industry, second, the production sector was low, and third, the investment sector required investment in the service sector. The conclusions drawn from the analysis showed that direct investment and continuous investment are required in the employment sector, the development of professional manpower is urgent, and direct investment and long-term investment are effective in the production sector.
