애니메이션 시장이 대표적인 제조업인 조선시장보다 크고, 게임시장도 최근 반도체 시장을 앞질렀다는 통계가 나왔다. 해리포터, 포켓몬, 아기공룡 둘리, 마시마로 등은 소설이나 만화원작에서 출발해 애니메이션과 영화, 게임, 캐릭터 등으로 재창조되며 어마 어마한 수익을 만들어내고 있다. 세계경제는 현재 제조업 중심에서 서비스업 중심으로 체질개선이 빠르게 진행되고 있으며, 그 중에서도 지식기반 서비스산업이 핵심적인 분야로 부상하고 있다. 특히 디지털기술이 빠르게 확산되면서‘콘텐츠 기반경제’로 이행 하고 있다는 전망도 나오고 있다. 이러한 변화에 어떻게 대응하는지에 따라 우리나라의 장래는 달라질 것이다. 이에 <디지털콘텐츠>는 국내 디지털콘텐츠 산업현황과 발전과제를 점검하는 시간을 가졌다. 이날 좌담회에 참석한 김근태 한국콘텐츠산업연합회장, 김주혁 한국무선인터넷솔루션협회장, 이용규 중앙대학교 교수, 임동근 한국게임산업연합회장(가나다순) 등 참석자들은 특히 게임 산업에 대해 목소리를 높였고 정부의 정책적 지원이 적절히 이뤄져야 한다는데 의견을 모았다.

'Post-memory' is the act of remembering traumatic events in history by subsequent generations who have not had direct experiences or relations with them. For this reason, the narratives of 'post-memory' are considered as re-interpretations of the past deeply influenced by current perspectives and concerns. The Chilean film NO goes back to the Referendum of 1988 in order to examine the "NO campaign" which was opposed to another eight years of continuation of the Pinochet regime. Although this campaign contributed significantly to the Chilean democratization, the filmmaker does not just celebrate it: rather he attempts to cast a critical reflection on its strategies that eventually turned democracy into a "commodity" by deploying commercial language and marketing tools for characterizing and describing it. On the other hand, the Korean movie The Attorney sheds light on the story of an attorney who, during the military regime in the 1980's, became a human rights lawyer when he tried to advocate for university students accused of violating national security law. This film reconstitutes the meaning of democracy built upon the logic of "common-sense" that privileges freedom and fundamental human rights over Statism. Despite the different historical contexts between Chile and South Korea, these two movies retell the history of a dictatorship that ended a couple of decades ago. In doing so, they raise questions about history, memory and democracy in order to deepen the understanding of current social and political circumstances while placing an emphasis on the roles and responsibilities of intellectuals during the transition to democracy and democratic consolidation.

An Infotainment Service intended to enhance the human emotion is introduced in this paper. The service is to be installed on the robot helping elderly persons to live comfortable and enjoyable life. The research started with defining the undesirable status of emotion in everyday life, and the psychological skills to cope with the status were sought about. Then, a methodology for providing emotion contents reflecting the coping skill has been suggested. Based on the Cognitive Behavior Therapy, the coping skill is used to edit animation clips. A movie recommendation system to utilize the edited animation clips has been being developed. A series of process for developing the system is described, where the emotion elements are taken into consideration in addition to the user preference as the criterion for recommendation.

This paper proposes the web information extraction system that extracts the pre-defined information automatically from web documents (i.e, HTML documents) and integrates the extracted information, The system recognizes entities without lables by the probabilistic based entity recognition method and extends the existing domain knowledge semiautomatically by using the extracted data, Moreover, the system extracts the sub-linked information linked to the basic page and integrates the similar results extracted from heterogeneous sources, The experimental result shows that the system extracts the sub-linked information and uses the probabilistic based entity recognition enhances the precision significantly against the system using only the domain knowledge, Moreover, the presented system can the more various information precisely due to applying the system with flexibleness according to domains, Because bath the semiautomatic domain knowledge expansion and the probabilistic based entity recognition improve the quality of the information, the system can increase the degree of user satisfaction at its maximum. Thus, this system can satisfy the intellectual curiosity of users from movie sites, performance sites, and dining room sites, We can construct various comparison shopping mall and contribute the revitalization of e-business.

Throughout the agraian society, industrial society, information society, and the knowledge-based society, the word father has become the representation of the law, oder, control, protection, and discipline. This study, with traditional fairy tale "Le petit chaperon rouge", aim to analyze the child readers a notion familly around 'me' and conceiving the father as the unit of the institution; also, in the Korean film , cinema audiences feeling keenly the necessity of the conventional family values and looking for the poster of principal agent of law and order. Generally the father is protector of 'me' and simutaneously, is incorporal being; even if he is inessential, he has, only by the name, great influence with people(law, order, control, discipline, are operating only with the name as the father God does). Our study will show how the signifier father operates and what similarity is between the film and the traditional fairy tale. A father is recognized as a tyrant or criminal, but a man is always realized to undertake a duty of resisting unjust powers and protecting nonperson. Those opposing structures was well represented in epic works such as"Le petit chaperon rouge" and . The father described in children's tale appeared as a symbol of desire and oppression, therefore youngster readers realized around 'Me' the concept of family through the absence of a father and received the father as a unit in the system. A father in a film has been described as a protector of nonperson, and a main part in the institution and order of traditional family. In both genre, the psychological signifiant of father still has been shown based on the symbol of father as a social institution.

This research empirically examined the determinants of competitive advantages and performance of Korean film industry from 1996 to 2003 over a sample of 396 movies. Especially, the effects of knowledge-based resources, social capital, product differentiation strategy, and market entry strategy on a film performance were hypothesized and empirically tested. Findings of this study are as follows; First, confirming the importance of knowledge-based resources in film industry, both the superior business track records of producers and the superior artistic track records of directors and actors had positive effects on film performance. Second, supporting social capital hypotheses, while the strong ties between directors and producers had positive effects, the strong ties between directors and actors had negative effects on film performance. Third, confirming the importance of product differentiation strategy, genre differentiation against competing films had positive effects on film performance. Finally, confirming the importance of market entry timing, the number of competing films released following a film opening within a week had negative effects on film performance. The findings of this research suggest that producers, directors, and actors are not only the critical knowledge-based resources to create competitive advantages indeed, but the pattern of relationships among them also systematically influences the film performance. Moreover, it is suggested that film performance may be improved by the proper genre differentiation and opening day selection.

Most universities have been concerned about Liberal Education; whether is it on universal truth, or on training job-specialists? In consequence, the curricula have been reformed and promoted diversely. In this aspect, has been developed as convergence education. I selected two easy and short texts and tried to make the students practice and memorize the dialogues as many as possible. At the end of the class, the students presented given assignments, with theatrical performance. This study carried out the research of students' presentation and theatrical performances on the basis of group study, together with a survey of the results of questionnaires and lecture evaluation. Therefore it was a exploratory study to check out significance of variables through the correlation analysis. The students' questionnaires showed the improvement of their English ability, together with their knowledge about literature and drama, cultivating humanities through the theatrical performance. It may be said that has achieved multi-functional effects of English class converged literature, theatre and humanities even for one semester.

Mathematics PBL, which has recently attracted much attention, is a teaching and learning method to increase mathematical ability and help learning mathematical concepts and principles through problem solving using mathematical knowledge the students have. In spite of the attention, however, the implementations are yet significant. In this study, we worked to find the needs of mathematics teachers for mathematics PBL implementation. The methods of this study are taxonomic analysis and componential analysis by using cards depth interviewing. As a result, mathematics teachers' needs are to consider how to develop the mathematics PBL problems and how to make progress.

The digital culture contents is one of the fastest growing industry in Korea and it accounts for 60% of the digital contents industry. This paper attempts to analyze economic impacts of the digital culture contents industry using input-output analysis. This study investigated the production-inducing effect, value-added-inducing effect and employment-inducing effect of the digital culture contents industry based on a demand-driven model. In addition, the study dealt with the supply shortage effect and sectoral price effect of the digital culture contents industry using a supply-driven model and the Leontief price model, including the inter-industry linkage effects of 29 sectors with the digital culture contents industry sector. Some interesting findings were drawn from the study. First, production of 1.0 won in the digital culture contents industry results in production-inducing effect of 2.39542 won, value-added effect of 1.29895 won and employment-inducing effect of 0.39657 persons in other industries. Second, the supply shortage of 1.0 won in the digital culture contents industry prevents other industries from producing 0.56631 won. Third, a 1% increase in the price level of the digital culture contents industry raises the overall price level by 0.06017%. Finally, very high backward linkage effects were found, but forward linkage effects were minimal.

최근, 수자원의 효율적 이용을 위하여 농업용수로를 파이프라인으로 시공하는 지구가 증가하는 추세에 있다. 한편으로는 간척지를 복합농업단지, 시설원예, 신재생에너지단지 등 다각적으로 이용하는 정책을 추진하고 있다. 이에 따라, 농업용수 공급시스템도 개수로에서 관수로로 설계하는 추세에 있다. 농업분야에서 관수로를 활용하기 시작한 것은 ‘80년대 중반부터이나 그간 관수로 설계기준의 부재, 시범사업의 실패 등으로 인하여 보급이 지연되어 왔다. 일반적으로 관수로 설계는 노선선정, 관조직 구성, 관경산정, 관망해석, 도면작성 등 일련의 과정을 거쳐야 완성된다. 이 설계과정에서 관경산정 및 관망해석은 고도의 설계 노하우가 없으면 활용이 어려운 설계기술이다. 이번에 개발한 관수로 설계지원시스템은 관수로 설계 전문가가 처리해야할 일련의 설계작업을 AUTO CAD상에서 일관성 있게 처리할 수 있도록 개발한 것이 특징이다. 관수로설계지원시스템은 수치지도상에서 등고선 좌표, 표고 등을 자동 추출하여 사업계획서 및 종단도를 작성할 수 있으며, 관망심볼을 이용하여 시스템상에서 관망조직을 구성할 수 있으며, 다양한 안에 대한 노선검토, 관경산정, 관망해석과 관두께, 매설심도 등 구조해석이 가능하다. 그리고, 농업용 관수로의 제수밸브 등 부대시설에 대한 표준도를 D/B로 작성하여 설계도 작성시 참고할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 관수로설계지원시스템은 매뉴얼대로 처리하면 관망해석에 대한 전문지식이 없어도 설계에 활용이 가능하다.
