The university bachelor's system is based on autonomy, but due to the rigid academic structure, it is not appropriate to respond to changes in social demand. Recently, universities are pursuing diversification of their bachelor's system. With the introduction of various majors (linkage major, convergence major, autonomic major, and self-design major), efforts are being made to nurture convergence talent based on mutual linkages between major and departments. This study introduces the design and operation process of 'Global Creative Convergence Major' which the four universities of Chungcheong region promoted as a union. In particular, it derives the key elements of each step and presents the operating model and implications based on the main features. Convergence major operation model constitutes educational system (talent award, educational goal, competency factor, curriculum) through linkage between specialization areas of universities. The competency elements contain creative competence, convergence competency, problem solving competency, and global competency.
The purposes of this study are to study out competencies of teacher for organizing and operating of NCS based curriculum in vocational high schools, and to analyze the relative importance of the competencies. 'Needs and learning environment analysis(area 1)' is composed of 2 competencies of 'analyzing needs', 'analyzing learning environment', and their 7 sub-competencies. 'Curriculum organization(area 2)' is composed of 4 competencies of 'organizing and operating curriculum committee', 'setting educational goals and workforce type', 'analyzing and selecting NCS competency units learning modules', 'developing subjects', and their 10 sub-competencies. 'Curriculum operation(area 3)' is composed of 3 competencies of 'preparing teaching-learning activities', 'implementing teaching-learning activities', 'evaluating teaching-learning activities', and their 15 sub-competencies. 'Curriculum evaluation and feedback(area 4)' is composed of 2 competencies of 'evaluating curriculum', 'giving feedback on the curriculum', and their 3 sub-competencies. Secondly, the relative importance of the competencies is as follows; 'implementing teaching-learning activities' has the highest relative importance of 19.6%, followed by 'evaluating teaching-learning activities'(14.2%), 'evaluating curriculum'(12.5%), 'giving feedback on the curriculum'(11.2%), 'preparing teaching-learning activities'(9.2%), 'developing subjects'(8.6%), 'analyzing and selecting NCS competency units learning modules'(7.5%), 'setting educational goals and workforce type'(6.6%), 'analyzing learning environment'(5.4%), 'analyzing needs'(3.9%), 'organizing and operating curriculum committee'(1.5%).
In this study, considering the OECD's DeSeCo and 2030 projects, the curriculum to develop competency was expected to be more emphasized, and the evaluation standards of the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum for elementary school in Korea and the Australian curriculum were analyzed in depth. To this end, the capabilities newly emphasized in the OECD 2030 Project were examined in detail and examined how the Australian elementary school mathematics curriculum included capabilities in achievement standards and content descriptions. The achievement standards of elementary school mathematics curriculum in Korea and Australia were matched, and the contents of number and arithmetic domain were compared and analyzed, and the skill verbs included in the achievement standards were analyzed and compared to see how their competencies were reflected in the achievement standards. Based on the results of the analysis, implications for improving math achievement standards were derived to faithfully reflect the capabilities into the mathematics curriculum.

The purpose of this research is to investigate ways to improve science teacher education in order to subsequently develop students' key competencies. Since the OECD redefined key competencies as 'what people should know and be able to do in order to lead a successful life in a well-functioning society, many countries have emphasized competency-based curriculum. In this research, we collected and analyzed foreign and domestic classroom cases that have implemented competency-based curriculum in science teaching. Through open-ended interviews with the teachers and principals we explored ways to improve science teacher education to develop students' key competencies. According to the results, the competency-based curriculum necessitates a shift in teachers' roles including teachers as role models for their students, multifaceted roles of teachers, and teachers as researchers. In light of the teacher's community, teachers need to form a professional learning community, increase practice-based professional development opportunities, build the teacher's knowledge base, put various experts into the classroom, and build a partnership with the local community and other experts. In the conclusion section, we also discussed institutional and political supports necessary for the competency based education.
This study investigated the internal accreditation system of A University which is a quality management system of curriculum that allows departments to examine the curriculum of itself. It was also found that the system improved core competencies of students. Lastly, the students' evaluation for lecture was significantly improved compared with evaluation before internal accreditation. Based on these results, the study provided basic data for the design of internal accreditation system at A university.
This study investigated the impact of elementary school science classes based on collaborative problem-solving on the character competency of students. For this purpose, students from 2 classes in 5th grade at an elementary school in a metropolitan city were targeted, and elementary science classes based on collaborative problem-solving were developed and applied to the 5 topics selected from the 'dissolution and solution' unit in the elementary science curriculum. In order to investigate the effect of science class based on collaborative problem-solving on the character competency of students, results of the character competence test before and after the class, reflective writing activity sheets filled out by the students in the experimental group, and questionnaires regarding their changes in character competency after the class were analyzed. The results showed that elementary science classes based on collaborative problem-solving were effective in cultivating the character competence of elementary school students.

Based on previous studies such as TPACK, digital literacy, and maker education, this study searched the Skills for Using Technologies required for elementary school pre - service teachers and classified them into 13 sub - factors in 5 domains. We designed and applied a project-based maker education instructional model to improve Skills for Using Technologies for first grade students at G Education University taking "technology utilization and smart life". Through interviews after the lecture and after the lecture, the ability of university students to utilize the technology was examined and the acceptance attitude was improved. We also modified the project-based maker education model based on interviews, observation logs, and mutual evaluations of college students.

This study was a pre-post test design with single group and participants were recruited from second-year nursing students at a University. From September to December 2014, the students participated in the action learning-based spiritual care education program, which were held 16 times, had decreased their spiritual needs and improved spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence. The data were analyzed using paired t-test with the SPSS WIN 23.0 statistics program. The results of this study indicate that the action learning-based spiritual care education program was effective in decreasing spiritual needs and improving spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence for nursing students. The nursing students, which provide a holistic care, will grow up to be a professional nurse by learning the nursing process including spiritual care. Also, an action learning-based education program should be developed in the various fields.
