Change of Ammonia Consumption with Gas Turbine Output in DeNOx System for a 580 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (580 MW급 복합발전소 탈질설비에서 가스터빈 출력에 따른 암모니아 소모량 변화)

  • In this study, ammonia consumption by gas turbine output was adjusted to find out the amount of ammonia consumption that complies with the enhanced Air Quality Preservation Act and internal regulation emission standards in SCR type DeNOx System for a 580 MW Sejong Combined Cycle Power Plant. For measurements, the gas turbine output was varied to 50, 99, 149, 198 MW and ammonia consumption was adjusted with the combustion gas and ammonia supply conditions fixed at each stage. When the emission limit were change from 10 ppm to 8 ppm, ammonia consumption was increased from 78, 93, 105, 133 kg/h to 89, 113, 132, 176 kg/h. The increase rate of ammonia consumption was 14, 22, 26, 32% per output category compared to the 10 ppm emission limit, which was shown to increase as output increased.

  • Control if Sediment is very important in prawn farm due to the eruption of toxic materials such as unionized $H_{2}S,\;NH_{3}\;and\;NO_3$. In this study, column test was conducted with filter media such as activated carbon, zeolite, oyster shell and iron chloride to evaluate the reduction of toxicity from sediment. ammonia-N($NH_3$) was effectively removed by Zeolite and oyster shell. It was indicated that ammonium ion($NH_4^+$) was removed by ion exchange of zeolite. And the ammonia in the column of oyster shell was existed as the form of $NH_4^+$, which is not toxic for prawn because oyster shell was stably kept at $8{\sim}9g$ of pH. Therefore, some of ammonia($NH_4^+$) was removed by oyster shell. Hydrogen sulfide and COD were effectively removed by adsorption of activated carbon and a partial removal of hydrogen sulfide was accomplished by Oyster shell. Phosphorous was removed by activated carbon, oyster shell and iron chloride. In prawn farm, the concentration of ammonia was increased with increase of pH by algae photosynthesis in the column of activated carbon, zeolite and iron chloride, but it was revealed that pH was stably kept in the column of oyster shell.

  • As high-tech science has developed, the need of semiconductor is required constantly. However, there are many processes which use a great deal of poisonous gas in the semiconductor process, so the dangerousness by a gas leak is latent in these processes. Especially, the accident of toxic gas is almost made by ammonia and chlorine. Therefore this report estimates the damage by the leak of ammonia and chlorine used in LPCVD system.

  • The In doped ZnO(ZnO:In)thin films sensitive to $NH_3$ gas were prepared by the double layer depositions of In film by vacuum evaporation and ZnO film by rf magnetron sputtering method onto a $SiO_2$/Si wafer substrate, and subsequent heat treatment process. The structural and electrical characteristics of the ZnO:In thin films were studied as a function of heat treatment temperature by x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and 4 point probing method. And the dependence of the sensitivity, the selectivity and the time response of the thin films on heat treatment temperature was investigated. The thin film heat-treated at $400^{\circ}C$ showed the highest sensitivity of 140% at an operating temperature of $300^{\circ}C$. The sensitivity towards CO, $NO_x$, gases observed in the same temperature.

  • 세계적으로 NOx 저감 및 규제치의 강화로 인해 디젤기관에서 발생되는 NOx 제거에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이며, 암모니아 환원제와 배출가스의 NOx를 혼합하여 촉매 존재하에서 NOx를 제거하는 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 대부분 암모니아를 보관성이 용의한 요소(Urea) 수용액으로 대체하여 배기관 내에 직접 요소수를 분사하며 요소 수용액이 고온의 배기가스에 의해 증발되어 암모니아를 환원시키며, 촉매를 통하여 탈질을 하는 Urea-SCR 시스템을 채택하고 있다. 따라서 촉매전단에서 요소수가 완전히 증발되고, 또한 촉매 입구에서 요소수의 증발로 인해 환원된 암모니아의 분포도 균일해야 함으로 Urea-SCR 시스템이 배기가스 유동 및 온도에 최적화된 분무특성을 가지는 분사제어 시스템을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 일반적으로 액화암모니아, LPG, 메탄, 부탄 등을 운송하는 가스운반선은 가스를 비등점 이하의 온도로 낮춰서 액화하여 운송하는 선박으로, 가스의 비등점이 -3$0^{\circ}C$에서 -4$0^{\circ}C$ 내외의 저온이므로 대기압 상태에서는 냉각되어 액화상태 약 -48$^{\circ}C$ 유지로 화물탱크에 저장 운반되어야 하는 여러 가지 제약조건이 따른다. 이러한 가스를 보관하는 탱크는 주로 저온에 강한 니켈강을 쓰게 되며 완벽한 고도의 용접기술을 필요로 하고, 저온상태의 화물 저장 운송을 위해서는 대형 냉동기와 보온설비도 필요하다.   • 저압가스질화법을 이용하여 SCM440강을 신속질화처리 하였다. 기존의 가스질화법과는 달리 낮은 암모니아가스 농도의 분위기와 아산화질소를 사용한 산화반응의 영향으로 5시간의 짧은 질화처리로서 0.6mm 이상의 질화깊이를 확보할 수 있었다.

  • 반도체 생산에서 암모니아는 정밀성을 요구하는 공정 특히, 광증폭 공정에서 산과 반응하여 불량을 일으키는 주 원인이며, 고메모리로 갈수록 청정도 기준이 엄격해져서 1 ppbv 이하의 농도를 검출할 수 있는 기술이 요구되고 있다. 현재 반도체 회사에서의 암모니아 분석은 임핀저를 이용하여 가스를 포집한 후 이온크로마토그래피로 분석 하고 있으나, 이는 많은 시간과 인력이 요구되며, 실시간 분석이 어렵기 때문에 반도체 클린룸의 관리에 어려움이 있다. (중략)

Performance of an Intermittent Aerated Pilot-scale Reactor Vessel for Commercial Composting (상업용 퇴비화를 위한 간헐통기식 파이로트 규모 반응조의 성능)

  • Mixtures of hog manure slurry and sawdust were composted by an intermittent aeration method to verify the performance evaluation of pilot-scale reactor vessels during composting high rate (decomposition) process. Instrumentation was designed to measure temperatures in compost, oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration, air flow rates, and ammonia gas emitted. It was found that ammonia concentration during composting high rate decreased more quickly to the allowable range of 34-40 ppm after 14days at near the optimal levels (II) than in the case of lower levels (I). The influence of the optimal levels (II) such as moisture content (55-65%), C/N ratio (20-40), pH (7-8) and temperature in compost (<$60^{\circ}C$) on the reduction of ammonia gas was considerable for commercial composting.

  • Currently, due to the increase in GHG emissions, the global weather phenomenon is constantly occurring, and each international organization is trying to reduce 온실가스 through various regulations to reduce GHG. To comply with the regulations, eco-friendly ships are currently being studied to reduce GHG. This paper models the fuel propulsion system of NH3 sofc fuel cell propulsion ship through the case study of eco-friendly ships, especially NH3 fuel cells, and provides information on how NH3 sofc fuel cell propulsion ships can benefit energy efficiency and decarbonization compared to existing FO vessels.
