Hankyong National University decided to introduce a track-based curriculum for a curriculum innovation as it switched a Polytechnic University system into a general University system. A TF(task force) team was formed to study a operation strategy of a track curriculum and the opinions of campus members and educationist were gathered. Such systematic preparation was performed for the introduction of the track. Based on those works, a track-based curriculum has been operating from 2012 spring semester. A track system defines that the curriculum in a department is divided into specific majors(or tracks) and the department/agency guarantees their expertise if the students complete the course of a specific major to increase the depth and expertise in the field of study or specific areas. Track means a set of customized courses that are demanded by the corporations, and the courses include basically specific education activities, levels of education, and educational contents required for job or position of the corporation. In this paper, any issues, that arose through the operations of the track-based curriculum at Department of Electrical, Electronic and Control Engineering in Hankyong National University, and their possible solution were presented.

We usually encounter Electro-magnetics phenomenons and only feel some part of that, but it is hard to feel it visually. Moreover understanding physically and quantitatively is not a easy work. These electrostatic field theory, magnetostatic field theory and interchange magnetic field theory combined with electromagnetic field are formulated experimentally and theoretically by James Clerk Maxwell in 1873. Electromagnetic field takes electro-magnetic phenomenons as a expansion of formula originated in Maxwell equations. Since this is based on expansion of formula, it is hard to understand for many students not only middle school and high school students learning it at the first time but also college students studying physics as a elementary class and even majors in electromagnetic field. The program is developed as a visual aid to cope with these problems, and even to deal with complex problem to estimate solution using numerical method.

Data generated by the development of ICT, the diversification of ICT devices and services and the expansion of social media are categorized as big data characterized by the amount, variety and speed of the data. The spread of the use of big data is expected to have the effects of identifying the status quo by analyzing data in all industries, predicting the future, and creating opportunities to apply it. However, while it is imperative for these things to be done, the nation still lacks professional training institutions or curricula. In this case study, we will investigate and compare the state of education for the training of big data personnel in Korea, find out what level and level of education is being trained to nurture balanced professionals, and prepare an opportunity to think about how it can help students create value at a time when the need for education is growing in the wake of awareness of big data.

This is the second segment of an action research on the constructivist geography education.(1)Deeper and lasting construction of knowledge may be possible especially when some key or leading concepts are utilized, around which other related concepts may be further explored. (2) Graphic languages may be more pedagogically effective than any other language, when they are viewed as means of learning may be the teacher's questioning, cooperative discussion, and the teacher's guidance and assistance. The questioning by the teacher seems effective when it is appropriate to the different levels of learner's comprehension, and cooperative discussion among thern seems productive with the teacher's attentive guidance. And, (5) constructivism may best be understood when teachers try to embody it in their own classrooms. This may be part of the context in which action research is called for.

The purpose of this study is to develop and suggest u-project teaching and learning model in order to effectively practice multidisciplinary and practical green growth conversion education, In order to achieve the purpose of study, the researchers conducted surveys to middle and high school teachers (189), teachers-to-be (285), and middle school students (358) on green growth perception, and analyzed relation between the ten green growth strategic directions and the 2007 and 2009 curricula. The extraction of the teaching and learning contents for the ubiquitous green growth conversion education and the development of a TUGG (Teaching Ubiquitously for Green Growth) model that is suitable for middle school application were also pursued. This study will increase the understanding of the necessity and propriety of green growth and also promote multidisciplinary and practical green growth conversion education.

Outdoor education emphasizes diverse experiences from the internal growth which is expected from the learners, to the ecological and environmental experiences. It is also the needs of this time and reflected in the education system of Korea. However the goal of outdoor education is not well defined and philosophical efforts to clarify it is also not enough. In this respect, we tried to define the goal and investigated professionalism of outdoor education. Specifically, we investigated the professionalism of teachers and instructors of physical education. The goal was investigated in two areas 1) holistic experience and problem solving skill and 2) aiming self-reflective practitioner. The idea was that educators must not aim simple educational efficiencies but have to become self-reflective practitioners through everyday life. The conclusions of this study are firstly, a safety manual is required to avoid possible injuries and to give first aid in an unfortunate occasion, secondly, an education program is required to train outdoor professionals and lastly, outdoor education should not remain in the boundary of formal education but should be included in non-formal education.

In this academic paper, we introduce a bread board simulation which is developed based on HTML language. this program is developed because actual electronic practices have some problems. Electronic circuit practice using bread board is widely practiced in colleges or high schools in South Korea, but actual electronic circuit practice needs lots of consumable stuff, and they are needed to be purchased and managed continuously. Besides, composing complicated electronic circuit restricts the efficiency of studying. Therefore, we propose breadboard simulation program which helps to resolve those problems.

The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate a school-based alcohol and delinquency prevention program. The program emphasizes the acquisition of skills to effectively deal with peer pressure specific to alcohol use and delinquency as well as to build more healthy relationships with both parents and friends. The program was operated by social workers in a middle school in Seoul for almost 2 months. The program produced positive results. That is, students' drinking frequencies, the level of positive alcohol expectancies, and the level of delinquency have been lowered. Finally, this study suggests that the length of the program be extended and the program be replicated by future social work practitioners and researchers in order to make the program more effective.

The Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation(KICE) has carried out the research on the development of the standards on teaching evaluation between 2004 and 2006, and particularly on the 'mathematics' teaching evaluation in 2006. The purpose of development of mathematics teaching evaluation standards is to improve not only mathematics teachers' professionalism but also their own teaching methods or strategies. The standards on mathematics teaching evaluation were developed based on the standards on general (not individual subject) teaching evaluation. They were revised and modified by analyzing the results of the interviews and survey with teachers about the adaptability of the standards in school. The standards were classified into four major areas of knowledge, planning, practice, and professionalism. Each area of these four were categorized into 6 smaller divisions and 36 elements. In addition, it was presented that brief descriptions on each teaching evaluation standards(element), guideline for evaluation methods, evaluator's observation index, and performance level with explanation for the standard achievement in four stages.

This study aims to examine whether a Parent's Neglecting Attitude affects an Adult Media Immersion and Adolescent' Dependence on mobile phonehas a mediating effect. To achieve this goal, the first year of middle school panel of 'the 6th Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS)' was utilized. To verify the mediating effect of Adolescent' Dependence on mobile phone in the relationship between Parent's Neglecting Attitude by Adolescents and the Adult Media Immersion, Baron & Kenny's mediating effect analysis method was conducted and the analytical findings are shown below. According to this study, first of all, more the Parent's Neglecting Attitude rise to rise the Adult Media Immersion. Second, the Adolescent's Dependence on mobile phone partly mediates the Adult Media Immersion. The practical implications of this results are below : First, we need to make a policy and legal effort to improve the relationship between parents and children. Second, there is a need to practice professional programs in schools, focusing on school social worker. Third, Revision of relevant laws limiting access to adult media is necessary.
