이 연구의 목적은 카를로 몰리노(1905~1973)의 복합적인 특징을 그의 초현실적 공간구성 방식을 특별히 고려하여 분석하는 것에 있다. 몰리노는 가장 독창적인 현대 이탈리아 건축가들 중 한 명이다. 그는 생애동안 그의 작품들은 비평가들에게는 인정을 받지 못했다. 그의 반 순응적인 성격과 극심한 개인주의도 일조를 하였지만 가장 큰 이유는 그의 작품들이 그의 전문적인 활동과 다양한 개인적인 관심사 사이에서의 강박적인 상호작용에 기반을 두었기 때문이다. 그의 독창성은 그의 능력에 있는 것으로, 항공학, 자동차, 스키, 무대 디자인, 패션, 예로티즘, 문학 그리고 그 외 수많은 다양한 분야에서 얻었던 지식을 디자인하고 건축으로 변형하려는 그의 초현실주의 배경에서부터 나온다. 개인적인 집착으로 그의 작품을 키워가면서 몰리노는 당시 현대 건축의 모든 관습들을 깨고 전문적인 능숙함과 독특한 예술적 시야 사이에 걸려있는 독특한 디자인 표현을 보여주었다. 이 연구는 몰리노의 독특한 공간 구성 방식을 벗겨내기 위해 그의 배경, 즉 그가 열정적으로 탐구했던 연구 분야들과 전문적인 생산물 사이의 연결고리를 분석한다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the element and method of traditional expression appeared in hotel lobby spaces, and present the direction of traditional expression applicable to the domestic hotel lobby space. Therefore, this study analyzed traditional expression according to its element and method taken out from the prior researches related to it. Specifically, the element of traditional expressions divided into the element of space organization, the element of structure (bottom, wall, ceiling, window, door and pillar), and the element of decorative design(furniture, illumination, artistic ornament, color, and material). The method of traditional expressions divided into the method of prototype reappearance, prototype transformation, reinterpretation, and abstract. The target of analysis has been 27 hotels designed since 1970s. and described as expressed traditionality in architecture-technical journals and books in the inside and outside of the country. considering these results, it seems that the traditional expressions using more various elements and more various element and methods have to used in domestic hotels. Specifically, when expressing traditionality in the lobby space of domestic hotel, it is important to decided the method expressing traditionality at first, and the traditional expressions using the element of space organization, structure, decorative design, and so based on the method expression traditionality was fulfilled with coordination.

All vague and constructions of contemporary cultural environment have been reorganized and the relationship between people and culture can't follow development speed of rapid material civilization development and being informationalized. Because of the circumstances, physical environment is changing into other cultural environment, existence of human being is at a crisis. Physical value precedes mental value and rapid changing causes culture lag. Modernism design of 20th century suggested standard, simplicity and mass production methods, but nowaday, as human being complexity is increasing, information-media are needed to satisfy that. Namely usual design thoughts have to be changed because our life is surrounded by many kinds of powerful media sings and various mixed cultural circumstances. People predict that the characteristics of new ages are 'Immateriality', 'Sensoriality', 'multimedia'. Amongst them, medial spatial characteristics will be eventually remarkable in commercial space which is coincided with economic logic and multilateral culture. This study is a focus on commercial space which emphasis contemporary medial characteristics and observes medial meaning and various technique through some experimental works in Korea. Also this study's purpose is to examine design directions which correspond with contemporary Korea culture.

Scientism is a kind of paradigm since the birth of Modernism. Architectural design was also effected from scientism in the 1st Machine age, and being effected still In the End Machine age. But many architects in the 2nd Machine age express scientism in architectural design as a "science for kick" as SF. The design of Rem Koolhaas follows the line of Modernism which was effected from scientism in many ways. However he shows modified machine aesthetics as SF pataphysics mixed with literary imagination, and now shows new science paradigm in post-modern age. He expresses many new science theory like indeterminacy theory, chaos, catastrophe theory in his works. And those are expressed as indeterminate program that proceeds in non-linear way, rhizome in space, order out of chaos, topological metamorphosis as a catastrophe. This study analyzes the expression of scientism in architectural design of Rem Koolhaas since 1970s.nce 1970s.

The latest, Digital art is attempt new field's Art, that is utilize variously digital media image, sound, simulation, 3D holography. A large number of Digital Art is contact with the audience in pavilion(limit place and limit period). However, It will be possible, Digital Art can use place digital form media even there are indoor, outdoor, anywhere. Prior to study, I was to analyze the feature of Digital Art in order to using Digital Art, Interactivity make communication between humans and the art as well as cause audience participation, and take a role of bridge between human and space. A study was base on the relationship between human and space, space and Digital Art, Digital Art and human taken the focus interaction between human and space, and Interactivity of Digital Art. This paper analyze reciprocal action for utilize Digital Art in indoor space design, and this paper study expression about indoor design base of interactive.

This study aims to show the present status of the expressions in the contemporary architecture in Kore under its pluralistic and equivocal situation. Non-residential buildings constructed since 1960 till 1997 have been analyzed focused on the rationality romantic property and koreanity which are the expressional aspects and its expressional characteristics in contermporary architecture in Korea such as the properties of the quasi-thematic approach limitary subsistence unexisting common ownership mixed copy and normative diversity have been grasped. These results prove that the common features after Modernism such as the restoration of humanity search for the architectural forms of plural meaning the pursuit for the regionality are also applied for the expressions of the contemporary architecture in Korea, Also this study can be the attempt to clarity the identity of the contemporary architecture in Korea and where it is now.

Contemporary Architecture stands on the basis of the influence of the formative arts, and it carves out a new field of architecture through various technical or material expressions. Herzog ＆ de Meuron, whose has been recognized internationally, are one of few artists following this Contemporary architectural flow. This thesis analyzed his work of art by the trend of times, and base on the results, tried to find his architectural language. Three points have been concluded through this architectural thesis. The architectural language does not deal with our monotonous environment, but deals with it technically. It's expressed all the architectural factors that we already know and used through new ways, so that, finally, it makes people feel the work of art in different point of views. I desire more future researches will focus on the many types of architectural and interior design languages that the Contemporary society craves.

This paper is to analysis covering and exposing elements through surface in the spirit of the time through the meaning of relationship between structure and symbol(ornament) in the theory of dressing of Gottfrid Semper. In other words, The purpose is to illuminate how complementary tectonic between structure and symbolic of an architecture surface is expressed in accordance with the biased required conditions relating with the paradigm of the era. The advancement of the new method of tectonic and the new aesthetic taste have a deep relation with the reconsidering the dichotomy classification discussing a dominant position between structure and symbol(ornament). Expression of surface representing the era comes across the combined interpretation of technology, structure, and the non-physical culture's art of the community and the era.

Focusing on the cases applied to korean brand-name apartments In 1960s, economical growth and introduction of western-type cultures led to a boom of apartment construction. After internationalization'in 1980s through Olympic games in 1988, korean culture has attracted attention and individual life quality has been improved. Since 1990s, changes in personal life style has affected the housing culture and the construction companies started moving from quantitative supply to developing their own differential characteristics. Differentiation scheme triggered by construction companies since mid-1990s mainly focused on various ideas for space deployment. Space plans include such things as a private ground, a kitchen in the south, etc. while interior plans include to provide selection of the korean traditional style, natural or casual one. 'korean traditional style' apartment is one of such theme of the brand-named apartment. Interests on 'Tradition' can be broken down into a social trend and media trend. Firstly, the former includes the designation of Bukchon as a reserving area, one of the governmental 'Hanok Survival Program', and traditional building promotion scheme on the basis of construction policy plans. Secondly, the latter covers the interests which attract through the media showing oriental cosmetics, korean culture export via Hallyu, popularity of korean dramas, etc. Thus, it seems worth studying on the apartments with traditional factors. And also, this study aims to setup the concept and trends of korean traditional style apartments through the interior expression on the korean-factor space developed by brand-name apartments so that it could correct such false knowledge out of misunderstood concept of traditional space which results from simple decoration or structure type not accompanying Korean emotion or spirit rendered by some misleading media.

Originally the COS system was developed based on fashion colors. But in interiors many other color groups are used frequently, so the COS system is somewhat insufficient for interior design work. The purpose of this study is to verify the pratical use of the COS system in finishing colors of housing interiors and to propose the additional colors based on interior finishings. The COS system and the NCS color system were used for color measurement. The results was as follows. In the hues, Y.YR.GY.PB.B.BG color groups were used for interior material more frequently. And regardless of hues, low saturation and high value colors were used. Most of the colors were inscribed as the COS system and the NCS color system simultaneouly, but muted and grayed color tones like pale.light.grayish.soft cannot be founded in the COS system. Therefore more subdued and soothing tones of Y.YR.GY.PB.B.BG color groups should be added to the COS system.
