This study analyzed the changes in Library and Information Science (LIS) courses by investigating the LIS curriculum of Korea in the past 20 years (1991-2011). Results showed that the total number of courses increased as a whole. As the Korean educational system moved forward to the faculty system (Hakbuje), the number of basic courses increased while the number of core courses decreased. But the opposite phenomenon appeared as universities returned to the department system (Hakgwaje). Also, we investigated the domain-specific distribution of each department by separating the courses of 34 Korean LIS Departments into these seven domains: General Library and Information Science; Information Organization; Library and Information Center Management; Information Services; Information Science; Bibliography; and Archival Science. The results showed that the number of courses reduced in most domains over the past 20 years, except for the Library Service and Information Science areas. This study also explored the following phenomena: disappeared courses, changed course's names, courses that integrated into a single course, courses that separated into various other courses, and newly emerging courses with the developing age.

This study seeks to propose and develop library science courses required in the digital age by investigating overseas LIS courses and surveying field librarians. Such courses must help the future librarian develop familiarity and skill with emerging technologies. As a result, required courses in the digital era were found to be: 'Design and Management of Databases', 'Library Planning, Marketing, and Assessment', 'Understanding Information Technology for Managing Digital Collections', and 'Information and Communication in a Digital Age' in that order, and should therefore be offered as core courses. In addition, 'Service for Information Disadvantaged Users' and 'Organization and Utilization of Web resources' were derived. The study also recommends different required courses based on different librarian types and duties.

The purpose of this study was to develop the hiring and retraining program for interior design teaching staffs of vocational high school. The survey has been made by interviewing 12 teachers from 2 vocational high school. The major finding of this stuffy are as follows; First, it is found that newly hired interior design teaching staffs are required to have interior design majors in university and minimum 1 year field experience. In case of having no field experience, it is required for them either to have an interior design associated certificates or to pass certain field test. Second, the retraining program should include drafting, perspective and rendering, architectural and interior materials, architectural structure, space and interior design, furniture design and fabrication, CAD, interior construction, housing and interior design in general. Third, the retraining program will be total 255 hours program. The number of hours for each specific subject are varied perpending on subject, For example, 15 hours an allocated for drafting and 60 hours for CAD.

본 연구는 1992학년도부터 2008학년도까지의 수학과 중등교사 신규임용후보자 선정 경쟁시험(이하 중등교사 임용시험)과 2009학년도의 개정 시행된 시험(2008년 11월 9일), 그리고 이에 앞서 한국교육과정평가원에서 시행한 2009학년도 수학과 중등교사 임용시험 모의평가(2008년 6월 14일 시행)을 분석하고 평가문항의 내용별 분포와 적절성을 검토함으로써 수학과 중등교사 임용시험의 개선방안을 모색하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하고 이에 대한 분석을 하였다. 수학전공과목 임용시험 출제 평가문항의 내용영역별 분류는 어떠한가? 수학과 중등교사 임용시험 평가 문항들의 각 영역별 출제 빈도수는 어떠한가? 전국 사범대학교 수학교육과의 교육과정은 어떠한가? 임용시험 평가문항들이 사범대 수학교육과의 기본 이수과목을 포함한 교육과정을 적절하게 반영하고 있는가? 향후 중등교사 임용시험의 개선점에는 무엇이 있겠는가? 각 연구문제에 대한 분석결과에 대해 심층적으로 알아보고 중등교사 임용시험 평가문항들과 전국의 사범대학교 수학교육과의 기본 이수과목들에 대한 관련성에 대해 알아볼 것이다.

현행 기계경비지도사는 기계경비업체 수에 비해 과도하게 많은 자격취득자가 배출되어 자격제도의 효과성에 대한 평가가 요구된다. 신규 자격취득자는 높아진 진입장벽으로 기계경비업체로 진출하기 어렵고, 활동 중인 기계경비지도사 또한 경비원을 지도·감독 및 교육하는 직무를 수행하기 어려운 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 효과성이 소멸하고 있는 기계경비지도사의 폐지 및 통합경비지도사로의 개편과 함께 경비지도사 자격시험에 기계경비 관련 과목을 필수과목으로 지정하는 방안 등을 제안한다.

This study was conducted to analyze new nurse satisfaction and factors of the new nurse orientation program and improve their effectiveness. The CIPP evaluation model was applied in this study to assess each module of the program systematically. The respondents of the survey were 452 of five affiliated hospitals of an educational foundation. The respondents' perceptions were 'Senior', 'Operating', 'Introduction', 'Unity', 'Usefulness', and 'Needs' (from highest to lowest). Multiple regression analysis indicated that 'Operating', 'Unity', 'Usefulness', and 'Hospital Introduction' had a significant impact on satisfaction. The results presented herein indicate that planners and operators should improve effectiveness of new nurse orientation programs by enhancing sense of unity, instilling confidence as a nurse, and increasing personal utilization of subjects.

Recently, Korean universities have experienced steady decline in enrollments in MIS majors, which raises a serious concern to both academia and business leaders as well. With roles of MIS in corporate worlds are expanding and demands for newer breeds of MIS graduates ever growing, this trend, also observed in the US, poses a puzzling yet interesting research agenda. To come to grips with the problem and to suggest a robust curricula model for the future, this paper approaches the problem from various angles. The model first examines perceptions on MIS of Korean students; it then delineates existing curricula models to identify core MIS courses. The compilation is then juxtaposed by MIS course information from major US and Korean colleges, leading to categorizing major MIS subfields. The paper then tries to identify as-is and desired status of MIS curriculum, based on inquiry results from both academia and IS practitioners. Together with career tracks concretely described in this paper, the model would serve to fill the perception gaps in and to meet the future goals for MIS education in Korea.

The Autonomous ships are equipped with a function to judge and navigate the sea conditions on their own, so the job of the ship officer who operates it changes. The educational curriculum to nurture ship officer with the ability to operate and manage autonomous ships must also be changed. This study aimed to develop the curriculum for training autonomous ship officer by using the Delphi survey method suitable for predicting the uncertain future. Among the current 61 subjects for training ship officer identified in the Delphi survey, 32 subjects with high importance should be maintained in the training for autonomous ship officer, and subjects with low importance should be abolished or integrated into other subjects. These subjects were collectively referred to as 'general courses'. The expert panel of the Delphi survey suggested 42 items as new subjects, with 18 items of 'high', 14 items of 'middle', and 10 items of 'low'. Through in-depth analysis of these items by experts, 27 subjects were adjusted and three courses were proposed : 1)'Basic course(10 courses)' for developing basic capabilities such as basic theories for understanding advanced technology and information applied to autonomous ships, 2)'Job course(10 courses)' for practical competency directly related to autonomous ship operation, 3)'Intensive course(7 subjects)' for fostering land remote operators of autonomous ships. Since the introduction and spread of autonomous ships will progress rapidly, research to develop and supplement autonomous ship pilot training courses should be continued by reflecting the level of autonomous navigation of autonomous ships.

Chinese construction corporations take more market shares in the global construction market. The performance of Chinese construction corporations need to be reviewed from the capability and qualification system of the engineers including supervision engineer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of professional qualifications for supervision engineer in China. The research methodology is to investigate the qualification exam system, process and examination subjects for searching the fundamental body of knowledge about supervision engineer qualification. The results shows that the qualification system in supervision engineer are classified in detail for the body of knowledge and operated by the government. The qualification examination requires broad and defied knowledge structure together with practical experiences. The research results may lead further research subjects of Chinese construction related qualifications and education system in the ways of more specificity, expertise, and practicality. The mutual understanding of qualification system becomes major issue to build better collaboration in global market.

2009년 1월 1일부터 3월 31일까지 신규 개원한 295개 의원급 의료기관을 대상으로 의료기관 행정인력이 있을 때와 없을 때에 따른 진료비 청구에 미치는 요인을 파악한 결과, 지역별로는 경인대권이 54.9% 가장 높은 분포를 보였으며, 진료과목별로는 일반의 29.8%로 높았으며, 행정인력이 많은 진료과도 일반의로 35.5%로 높게 나타났다. 행정인력이 있는 경우 단순청구오류건의 수정 및 이의신청횟수, 보완청구, 누락청구의 횟수도 높은 것으로 확인되며, 행정인력이 있는 경우 삭감된 부분에 대한 회수율일이 행정인력이 없는 경우보다 높은 것으로 확인되었다.이 상의 결과로 볼 때 행정인력은 병원행정 업무를 지속적인 교육과 의료인과의 소통을 통해 합리적인 청구방법 모색이 필요하다. 또한 병원행정인은 환자와 의료인과의 가교 역할을 담당하고 의료기관과 정부 등 관련기관과의 매개자로써 적절한 역할을 통해 의원급 의료기관의 경영의 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.
