The purpose of this study was to examine the part-time work experience of nursing students and its effects on their interpersonal communication competence, self-efficacy and social skills. The study subjects were 362 nursing students in areas S, B, G and G. The relationship between the nursing students' part time work. experience and their general characteristics was analyzed by the Chi-square (${\chi}^2$) test and Fisher's exact test. The interpersonal communication competence originating from the general characteristics, self-efficacy, and difference in the social skills standard among groups were analyzed by the t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Among the 326 participants, 91.7% had part-time experience and 8.3% had no part-time experience. There was a significant relation between the part-time experience and economic level. Those having a low economic level were more likely to have part time work experience. The interpersonal communication and social skills of the students who had part time work experience when they were middle school students were lower than those who had such experience after high school. Further research is needed to identify precisely the advantages afforded by the part-time work experience of the nursing students.

This study attempted to investigate the impact of relational characteristics just like level of perceived communication, support, conflict and justice between optical franchisor and franchisees on relational performance. Data collected from A Optical Franchisees supported two hypotheses such as communication and relational satisfaction, relational satisfaction and long-term commitment that were proposed. Another result between justice and relational satisfaction in this study shows that the other research and interpretation for this phenomenon was attempted. In accordance with the results, the following conclusion was made: it is very important to communicate with franchisor, and the core mean for that would be the enhancement of the long-term commitment of franchisees through the perceived relational satisfaction of franchisee's in optical franchise system. To accomplish this, to understand characteristics of franchisor and franchisees and fit of their characteristics should be preceded.

The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of mathematical discourse about the length in the class that learns the length of the curve defined by definite integral. For this purpose, this study examined the discourse about length by paying attention to the usage of the word 'length' in the class participants based on the communicative approach. As a result of the research, it was confirmed that the word 'length' is used in three usages - colloquial, operational, and structural usage - in the process of communicating with the discourse participants. Particularly, each participant did not recognize the difference even though they used different usage words, and this resulted in ineffective communication. This study emphasizes the fact that the difference in usage of words used by participants reduces the effectiveness of communication. However, if discourse participants pay attention to the differences of these usages and recognize that there are different discourses, this study suggests that meta - level learning can be possible by overcoming communication discontinuities and resolving conflicts.

This study is a one group pretest-posttest design study to confirm the effect of non-face-to-face Havruta's activities on communication competency, academic self-efficacy, and learning immersion of nursing students. The study was conducted from September to October 2021. The collected data were through self-report questionnaires of 69 student nurses. The data were analyzed by frequencies and paired t-test using SPSS 24.0 program. As a result, the subjects' communication competency, academic self-efficacy, and learning immersion were significantly increased after the non-face-to-face Havruta's activities compared to before. The results of this study can be useful basic data for professors who want to apply non-face-to-face Havruta's activities to their classes in the future.

Prints in the contemporary art has the radical aspects at not only to maintain the characteristic of printmaking in a field of visual image but also to fulfill and communicate a desire of the public. We can see this from the change of the printmaking forms among the alternation of diverse expression methods and media such as from the line-cut at the Renaissance to colored print process, photography, the beginning of 20th century cartoons, advertisement, art, and graphic poster. From that, we can understand the printmaking as a fluid media, not fixed, has finely accomplished its functions as an act of visual language to smoothly communicate with the individual desire and character than word or language at the complex and various cultural surface. This study is focused on that prints as an avant-garde language in popular culture. Therefore, I have examined the following two aspects. First, with focussing at the specific characters of the graphic posters, I try to define the differences between language and visual language and the effect from it to our emotional perception and behavior with the politic and economic point of view. Second, how has the printmaking art as an fine arts finely accomplished an linguistic action. These are the purpose of this study.

The purpose of this thesis is to find the guiding direction of mathematical communication in lower grade students of elementary school and to present a new direction about the effect of using concrete material in communication. It is expected that mathematical communication increases when concrete material is used for the students of the lower grades, who are in concrete operational period. Therefore, this study ai s to investigate what characteristics there are in mathematical communication of second grade students and what effect concrete materials have on mathematical communication and learning. The analysis of the teaching record shows that the second grade students use alternative terms in the process of communication since they are not familiar with mathematical symbols or terms, which is a characteristic of communication in a mathematics class in which concrete material is used. In the process of teaming the students apply their living experiences to their teaming. Since a small number of students lead class, the interaction between students is also led by them. The direction of communication in a small group is not centered around solution of a problem, and most students show a more interest in finding answers than in the process of learning. The effect that concrete material has on communication plays an important role in promoting students' speaking activity; it allows students to identify and correct their errors more easily. It also makes students' activities more predictable, and it increases a small group activities through the medium of concrete material. However, it was also noticed that students' listening activities are not appropriately developed since they do not pay attention to a teacher who uses concrete material. The effects that concrete material has on mathematics class can be summarized as follows. Concrete material promotes students' participation in class by triggering their interest of learning of mathematics and helps them to understand the course of learning. It also helps the teaming and formation of concepts for children of low academic performance. And it makes a phased learning possible according to students' ability to use concrete material and to solve a problem. Based upon the results above mentioned, the use of concrete material is absolutely needed in mathematics classes of lower grade elementary school students since it increases communication and gives much influence on mathematics learning. Therefore, teachers need to develop teaching or learning method which can help increase communication, considering the characteristics of students' communication.

The purpose of this study is to compose direction about mUC as a communication channel in the company. Recently, many companies have started to adopt or try to vitalize the use of mUC. This study starts from the viewpoint of communication which is the original purpose of SNS or mUC. The purpose and function of life-world are drawn based on Habermas' theory of communicative action. Firstly, this study will check on a difference in usage over the action and articulation between SNS and mUC. Secondly, this study will examine a difference of effect of life-world between SNS and mUC. Thirdly, to check that there is difference according to the user characteristics. The result is that there are differences about action and articulation but little differences of effect to the life-world between SNS and mUC. Also, there is difference according to the user characteristics. This study could contribute to compose direction when a company adopts or vitalizes mUC.

With broad individual variability in social communication skills of children with autism spectrum disorders and increasing focus on interventions targeting social communication of this population, there is a need for systematic analysis of how social communication outcomes are measured. This study aimed to systematically analyze the measurement tools used in the music therapy interventions for improving social communication of children with ASD. Electronic databases and music therapy journals were searched for controlled studies published between 1980 and 2015. A total of 21 studies were included for the analysis. The results demonstrated that direct observation of behaviors was the most frequently used and the combination of targeted social communication areas and specific measurements used for a specific skill varied among the studies. In addition, 90.4% of studies reported interrater reliability. These results indicate that there has been a diversity in approaches to measure social communication skills despite increasing attempts for systematic measurements. In consideration of the nature of social communication development in children with ASD, multifaceted strategy to understand and assess the target skills in terms of specific behavior acquisition, social functioning in general, and social cognition was recommended.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of counselor-client's intimacy, empathy, and communication level when cognitive thinking trait between counselor and client is the same or not. For this purpose, 70 peer counselors of the S division conducted counseling training for 10 hours with 6 hours of education and 4 hours of practice. All counseling sessions were preceded by APL cognitive test, divided into two cognitive trait, followed by counseling with the same cognitive trait for two hours, and with a different cognitive for two hours. After each session, questionnaires were conducted. The results of this study showed that intimacy, empathy and communication level were significantly higher in counseling with the same trait as counselors than different. The results of this study are verifying the difference of the cognitive trait of the counselor and the client among the variables of the counselors influencing effect in the counseling process. Suggesting the importance of a counseling plan that takes into account the self-understanding of counselor and the trait of the client. Finally, the points of this study were discussed.

An infatuation with webtoons is facilitated by the ultra-rapid internet infrastructures and the highest ratio of penetration of smartphones in the world. Recently, the webtoon has been the focus of a new cultural content and its development has been noticed both and home and abroad. This study aims to find the new role of webtoon as a socio-cultural communication media. The webtoon reflects the reality as it is and shows directly and minutely the social problems, even although the other media make it glorified or reduced. We observe the role of webtoon as a new communication media content that can make the place for social discussion within several generations and social stratums, in which the producer and the consumer can communicate directly and immediately. Two webtoons( and ) have been selected for a textual analysis. In two webtoons, we analyse the method of representation of the social problem in the technique of expression and storytelling. This helps us maintain that the webtoon deserves as the socio-cultural communication media and the social problems represented in webtoon must have been evaluated more valuable in a new perspective.
