Since the V-World, the Spatial Information Open Platform service, has started in 2012, a lot of people have increased explosively every year with their interest. It is necessary to know the specific service status in order to serve as indicators of the improvement of user's environment and the service to be added in the future based on the user's increasing need. However, there is difficulty to figure out more specific service status, such as the usage of hardware resources for 2D / 3D / Portal services and the actual user usage patterns, because the current system does not have the real-time monitoring system. Therefore, in this paper, through the analysis of the usage of system resources for 2D / 3D / Portal services based on web server log and the usage of hardware resources such as CPU, Memory based on system log, we analyze the usage of service in 2015 and compare with the results of the 2014, to present problems of the current system and the solutions about the problems.

Since the Spatial Information Open Platform service started in January 2012, the number of service users and the size of the system has increased significantly. However, we could not know the analysis result about how much the hardware resources of the Open Platform system can handle user services. Thereafter, whenever the number of service users are rapidly increased, we simply have solved the service delays using the hardware extension. So, this study presents the obvious solution to avoid the same problem in the future, by pinpointing the system performance of the Open Platform. In this study, through the performance analysis of hardware using NMON and the load test of web service using nGrinder, we intend to get an accurate performance of the Open Platform system. Then we intend to present the resource reallocation method in order to provide better performance of the system.

After 1960 forest and ecosystem are rapidly destroyed by industrialization and urbanization. Accordingly, studies that produce vegetation map continue for forest and ecosystem management. Since 1986 national natural environment survey is being conducted in Korea. Also, vegetation information is managed properly through forest geospatial information service(FGIS) of the Department of Environment when NGIS project was promoted since 1995. But it provide dominant species information based on text. In particular, some vegetation information dose not provide to end-user. Therefore, we suggest construction method of vegetation information management system based on GIS to solve the problem. Also, we suggest connection method of related system for an accurate analysis, planning and decision-making support.

The library could get infinite possibilities of the space, if people had recognized that the library was not only the space for the reading and collecting of the books but also a special space for accomplishment of the investigation, learning, communication, and culture. Also, it can be desirable way for implementing the hybrid library. It means that combine with the traditional library which is the most important thing is a real space and the digital library, in contrast, the which is that the most important thing is the cyberspace. The purpose of this study is to develop a practical model for hybrid library based on the concept of information commons which is cooperation of the space, information technology and information services. This study intends to figure out the core elements involved in operative aspect of hybrid library through comparative analysis of domestic and foreign cases applied Information commons concepts to the library.

본 연구는 공공부문에서 적용할 수 있는 현실적이고 경제성 있는 USN 서비스 모델을 발굴하고 USN 서비스를 도입하기 위한 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 공공부문 USN 도입 방안에 대한 제시는 서비스의 특성을 충분히 고려하여야 하며, 적절한 서비스 요구사항에 대한 평가를 기반으로 도입되고 추진되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 과정을 수행하기 위하여 2차례에 걸친 사용자 분석을 수행하였다. 우선 다양한 서비스 모델의 발굴하기 위한 1차 조사를 수행하여 여러가지 우수한 USN 서비스 모델을 발굴하였고, 이를 바탕으로 사용자를 중심으로 한 2차 조사를 실시하여 서비스의 특성 등을 분석하였다. 이렇게 조사된 자료는 서비스 요구사항 평가 모델 등을 바탕으로 평가되어 USN 서비스를 단계적으로 확산하는 전략에 활용되고 있다.

Recently, geo-based application services such as location-based commerce or personal navigation are recognized as a kind of common tool on smart-phone, and demands with respect to advanced functions of online map editing linked to value-added contents are increasing. However, the disabled people have severe difficulties to equally use those geo-based services, compared to the normal people's uses. Of course, this situation is almost same to other application fields besides geo-based applications. Web accessibility basically means necessary guideline handling web-based contents for equal uses of web services for all people. W3C has developed and distributed a generalized web content accessibility guideline, and Korean web content accessibility guideline version 2.1 referred it. As well, there is a certificate system operated by public agencies. In spite of this situation, geo-based application field is globally on the very early stage for web accessibility. This work first summarized the concept of web accessibility and Korean guideline, and then presented some practical schemes for the further geo-based applications, focused on web visualization of geo-based contents among numerous implementable application services.

4차원 지리정보시스템은 기존의 2차원 공간정보의 평면적인 정보구조가 가지는 한계를 극복하기위해 확장된 좌표계를 가진다. 추가된 좌표축은 공간 객체들의 높이 정보축과 시간 정보축을 포함한다. 이 연구에서는 OGC에서 제안하는 2차원 기하 클래스 구조를 수용하고 추가된 시공간 정보를 다룰 수 있는 4차원 기하 객체 모델을 정의하였다. 또한. 시간 일 공간 데이터에 대한 인덱스를 구성하였으며 4차린 지리정보시스템의 공간데이터 제공 서비스를 위하여 3차원과 4차원 시공간 연산 및 분석 기능을 구현하였다.

This study examines the characteristics of service economies and their impacts on the spatial transformation of Korea during the last IS years. This study reviews the different perspectives for the tertiarization Process. It focuses on the spatial variation in the growth and location of Producer service industries. Based on the analyses of industrial and occupational compositions, services. particularly producer services, have played a major role in creating new job opportunities since the late 1980s. The ratio of services to merchandise trade is approximately 1:4, but service trades have increased since the early 1990s. Producer service activities have grown very rapidly, and the information processing service has been over-concentrated in Seoul. Further headquarters of bank and insurance services are overwhelmingly concentrated into Seoul. The firms whose headquarters are located in Seoul have linkage Pattern on a nationwide scale. The pattern of employment growth in producer services shows a clear core-Periphery disparity. In the light of the observed pattern of regional differentiation in producer service employment, some wider implications of the distribution of producer service activities for regional economic Performance are considered.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the quality of service that affects satisfaction of special library users and to suggest ways to improve the function and role of special library. The data were collected by survey and interview method conducted with 111 library users in 6 local research institute using modified questionnaires based on LibQUAL+. The results revealed that human quality factor had more influence on library service satisfaction than space and information quality factor. Also, there were statistically significant influence between library service satisfaction and three sub service factors, such as service attitude, space convenience, and information usability. The interviewers indicated problems of special library service in lack of data, inactivation of digital data, space problem, data sharing problem, and lack of experts. Finally this study proposed several suggestions to improve service quality of special library of local autonomous entity research institution.

There has been much interest in the VWorld open platform with the addition of a variety of contents or services such as 2D map, 3D terrain, 3D buildings, and thematic map since 2012. However, the VWorld system architecture was not stable for the system overload. For example, the system was stopped due to the rapidly increasing user accesses when the 3D terrain service of the North Korea and the Baekdu mountain was launched at September 2012 and September 2013, respectively. It was because the system architect has just extended the server system and the network bandwidth whenever the rapid increase of user accesses occurs or new service starts. Therefore, this study proposes a new VWorld system architecture that can reliably serve the huge volume of National Spatial Data by applying the new technologies such as CDN, visualization and clustering. Finally, it is expected that the results of this study can be used as a basis for the next VWorld system architecture being capable of a huge volume of spatial data and users.
