The effects of work value of vocational counselor to organizational commitment : Mediator effect of job satisfaction (직업상담사의 직업가치관이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 직무만족 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of work value of vocational counselors on organizational commitment and the mediating effect of job satisfaction. For this aim, this study conducted a survey concerning vocational counseling, work value, organizational commitment and job satisfaction targeting 207 vocational counselors in the Jeonbuk region. Analysis results found higher work value of vocational counselors resulted in higher organizational commitment. Second, concerning the relationship between work value and organizational commitment of vocational counselors, job satisfaction showed a significant mediating effect. Furthermore, in accordance with the type of work value, the relationship between organization commitment and both inherent and extrinsic work value had significant mediating effects on job satisfaction. Through this, the study confirmed that when vocational counselors recognize not only the inherent value of work is high, but also the extrinsic value such as benefits that could be obtained socially and economically through job, it is more likely to lead to increased organizational commitment. In particular, it was confirmed that extrinsic value is relatively more influential on job satisfaction and organizational commitment compared with inherent value. This indicates the importance of improving extrinsic value, such as material compensation and job stability, as well as inherent value, such as confidence and pride about the job, for increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

  • 미국에서는 2가지 중요한 움직임이 일어나고 있다. 즉 간호의 문화적 교류와 1차 건강 간호의 움직임이다. 이것들은 모두가 간호 교육과 실제를 증진시키는데 놀랍고, 도전적이며, 유망한 발전이다. 그들은 효과적이고 성공적인 간호원을 준비시키는 간호 지도자들에게 새롭고 무거운 책임을 지우고 있다. 따라서, 우리는 교육적 노력과 실제의 영향을 지도해 줄 수 있는 체계적인 평가와 조사연구가 필요하다는 것을 인식한다. 1차 건강 간호와 간호의 문화적 교류는 일반적 의사의 접근법으로 간호와 건강관리의 관심사에 대해 인류를 도와준다. 이 둘 모두가 인류의 다양한 요구를 만족시킬 수 있는 문화적 생활양식과 지역사회에 기초를 두어야 한다. 이 둘은 기타 간호와 타 건강관리 제공자의 일반적인 건강사업 및 치료사업과 통합되어야 한다. 의심할 여지도 없이 이 둘은 질병예방, 건강증진에 대한 통합적인 접근법과 원기 회복을 위한 건강수행을 위하여 지역적이고 국내적이며 세계적인 건강관리 체제와 실제의 일부분이 되야 한다. 전문적인 간호원은 세계에서 가장 규모가 큰 건강관리 제공자로서 급속히 나타나는 세계 건강 문화 속의 인류를 위하여, 우수한 건강 관리를 개선하고 유지할 수 있는 상당한 잠재력과 도전성을 지니고 있다.

A Qualitative Case Study on the old people's Perception of Dignifiable Aging (노인의 품위 있는 노화 인식에 대한 질적사례연구)

  • This study aims to examine how old people think about 'dignifiable aging'. For the study, the authors have tried to understand and analyze of old people's view on 'classy and gracious aging' through their life experiences. The study focuses on the questions of 'how the participants experience aging', 'how they understand well, classy and successful aging and 'how they explain their ideas of the aging, then analyzes their ideas as types of 'within cases' as well as 'inter cases'. Indepth interview has employed as main methodology of data collection with the analysis of concerned written documents such as on-line and off-line essays as secondary data. The collected data had been basically sorted and analyzed by sorting commonimity and differences. Then they have been classified into the thems that indicate meanings and forms of 'dignified aging': 'ageless mind', 'happiness determined by one's mind', 'responsibility on family', 'desire for learning and social activities'. These meaning-units are added up to the main meaning of '(fullfilled) satisfaction through life-values' mediated by 'acceptance and acknowledgement', 'efforts', 'others' gaze', 'dreams and hopes', '(fullfilled) Satisfaction through life-values' can be achieved by 'sharing with others'. An interesting fact is that the meaning-units can be devided into two groups: 'the real life is the ideal life' which explains the actualization of the ideal in the daily life and 'life, conflict, the ideal' in which the real and the ideal are parellel with constant conflicts. In the conclusion, some implications and suggestions derived from the analysis are described from the v iew of social welfare.

The Influence of a Local Social Welfare Service Delivery System on Service Satisfaction and Quality of Life for the Elderly : Mainly Focused on Hope Care Center of Namyangju City (지역사회복지서비스 전달체계가 노인의 서비스 만족 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 : 경기도 남양주시 '희망케어센터'를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the social welfare service delivery system of Namyangju City on the satisfaction degree of the elderly with welfare services and on their quality of life. This study conducted a survey of the elderly aged 65 and over who were either service users or nonusers of the public-private partnership welfare service delivery system called Hope Care Center. A total of 324 copies including 205 copies of Hope Care Center users and 119 copies of nonusers were analyzed. The analysis shows that the four key elements of welfare service delivery system are statistically significant to the service users of Hope Care Center than the nonusers with the users' higher level of satisfaction with the services. However, in terms of quality of life, there was no meaningful distinction between the two groups. This indicates that services of Hope Care Center increased the satisfaction with welfare services, thereby improving users' quality of life to the level of nonusers. Further studies for the same subjects are expected to be deeper if they compare and analyze the before and after of using Hope Care Center with more comprehensive independent variables.

  • In order to predict satisfaction and performance of sensible healthcare game using motion recognition sensor, this study analyzed the effects of flow, presence and social cognitive factor and then, it attempted to verify structural relationships thereof. Self-efficacy, being a social cognitive factor, was found to affect the level of functional satisfaction of health game but it showed no direct effect to intention of using game. Flow experience was also observed to be a meaningful predictor for the level of functional and entertainment satisfaction in the direction hypothesized. It is also shown that presence exerts a direct effect on functional satisfaction. Finally, it is discovered that functional satisfaction has meaningful influence on entertainment satisfaction as well as future intention to use. The results verifies that even in sensible healthcare game, user experience and social cognitive factor have significant effects on satisfaction and performance of a serious game.

Effects of Transformational Leadership on the Organizational Effectiveness of Long-Term Care Facilities : Focusing on the Care Giver's Mediating effect of Empowerment (노인장기요양기관의 변혁적 리더십이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 : 요양보호사의 임파워먼트 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine effects of empowerment on relationship between supervisors transformational leadership recognized by care givers and organizational effectiveness represented as the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment. For the purpose, survey were conducted with care givers working in long-term care facilities in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Incheon, and final data were resulted from analysis of 283 examines of those care givers. The findings of this study were as follows: first, transformational leadership of long-term care facilities had a significant influence on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, the care giver's empowerment had a influence on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, empowerment worked as mediators between the transformational leadership of long-term care facilities and care giver's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based upon these findings, we can propose practices towards improving a long-term care facilities administrator's transformational leadership and implication of program development and provide an institutional strategy aiming to care giver's empowerment improvement.

  • The aim of the study intends to investigate the fire safety awareness level of the young children's parents in Seoul and to provide the base data in the education for the fire safety. The results of the study are as follows. The young children's parents consider the fire safety awareness level of our society low, though their fire safety awareness level be above the average. The young children's parents choose infants schools as appropriate place to receive education for fire safety. And the young children's parents consider the development and diffusion of fire-safety teaching materials for young children to be supplied first of all. Also the young children's parents recognized observation learning and a field trip activity as appropriate teaching-learning method for fire-safety education.

  • The pet industry is also developing and growing in various ways as the number of companions is steadily increasing around the world and social awareness of pets has changed to members of the "family." The pet tech market, which can check health changes early by utilizing IOT technology, is also drawing attention as pets often cannot be expressed even if they have health problems. Based on this problem recognition, this study aims to promote the cold chain service market by developing important animal sample transport services in the pet healthcare market and to develop solutions that satisfy all stakeholders such as pets, pets, and animal hospitals. It was developed to apply sustainability related to society and culture as well as economic and environmental values in the research process.

  • 맞벌이 가정이 증가함에 따라 영유아, 장애인, 노인 등의 사회적 약자를 낮시간 동안 보육/보호하는 데이케어 센터의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 데이케어 센터는 센터 경쟁력 확보 및 보호자 만족도 제고를 위해서 피보호자의 일상 사진을 제공하는 곳이 대부분이다. 하지만 데이케어 센터의 직원이 다수의 사람에 대한 사진을 촬영 및 선별해서 메시지를 전송하는 일은 데이케어 센터 본연의 업무를 방해할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사진 선별을 업무 부담을 완화시키는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 얼굴 특징 기반 사진 자동분류하는 시스템을 개발한다. 제안한 방법에서는 얼굴 특징 추출 기법과 클러스터링 알고리즘인 DBSCAN을 이용하여 얼굴기준 사진 분류시스템을 설계하엿다. 특히, OpenCV와 face recognition 라이브러리를 이용하여 카메라로 촬영된 사진 속의 얼굴 객체를 인식하고 얼굴사진을 저정한 후 얼굴의 특징을 추출한다.

An Analysis of Affecting Factors on the Recognition of 'Ladder of Life' in Middle-Aged Adults : Focused on 60-70s (중장년의 '삶의 사다리' 인식에 대한 영향요인 분석 : 60-70대를 대상으로)

  • This study examined the perception of life felt by low-income people in middle-aged and elderly people by enhancing the population structure of Korea, which is entering an aging society. For the analysis, the variables that need from the 2019 welfare panel data provided by the Ministry of Health and Welfare were selected. The final 1,684 samples were selected from the panel samples of 14,918 people, from the '60-70s' of 'low income class', by removing the unresponsive and insincere samples. In particular, this study defined as a dependent variable as a 'ladder of life' measured in panel data, and analyzed the personal characteristics and life satisfaction factors affecting 'ladder of life'. As a result of the analysis, most of the personal characteristics were found to be influential factors of the "ladder of life" when considering only personal characteristics as an influential factor for the dependent variable "ladder of life". Also, as a result of examining the interaction effect on the economic state variable, there was no significant interaction effect. This shows that the health condition is more important than the economic condition as the influential factor on the ladder of middle-aged elderly people. Therefore, the recognition of the elderly 'ladder of life' should improve the awareness of the elderly's life by various 'environmental factors', both internal and external, rather than the personal conditions and environment of the elderly. In other words, a plan to present a positive alternative to their perception of life will be needed.
