Due to the development of smartphone technology, as of 2020, 91.9% of people use the Internet[1] to frequently acquire information through websites and mobile apps. As the number of homepages in charge of providing information is increasing every year, the number of applications for web vulnerability diagnosis, which diagnoses the safety of homepages, is also increasing. In the existing web vulnerability check, the number of diagnostic personnel should increase in proportion to the number of homepages that need diagnosis because the diagnosticians manually test the homepages for vulnerabilities. In reality, however, there is a limit to securing a web vulnerability diagnosis manpower, and if the number of diagnosis manpower is increased, a lot of costs are incurred. To solve these problems, an automatic diagnosis tool is used to replace a part of the manual diagnosis. This paper explores a new method to expand the current automatic diagnosis range. In other words, automatic diagnosis possible items were derived by analyzing the impact of web vulnerability diagnosis items. Furthermore, automatic diagnosis identified possible items through comparative analysis of diagnosis results by performing manual and automatic diagnosis on the website in operation. In addition, it is possible to replace manual diagnosis for possible items, but not all vulnerability items, through the improvement of automatic diagnosis tools. This paper will explore some suggestions that can help improve plans to support and implement automatic diagnosis. Through this, it will be possible to contribute to the creation of a safe website operating environment by focusing on the parts that require precise diagnosis.

Humanities are as crucial as the technology itself in the intelligent information society. Human-centered convergence information technology (IT), which reflects emotional and human nature, can be considered a unique technology with an optimistic outlook in the unpredictable future. Based on this research background, this paper proposed an education model that can improve the IT humanities capabilities of various learners, including elementary and secondary students, prospective teachers, incumbent teachers, school managers, and the general public, through analysis of previous studies on convergence education models. Furthermore, the practical aspects of the proposed model were closely examined so that the proposed education model could be stably incorporated and utilized in the educational field. There are seven strategies for implementing the education model proposed in this paper, including research on textbooks, teaching and learning materials, activation of research results, maker space creation, global joint research, online education operation, developing living lab governance, and diversification of self-sustaining platforms for sustainable and practical education. In the future, validity verification through expert Delphi is required as a follow-up study.

Gartner is requiring companies to considerably change their survival paradigms insisting that companies need to understand and provide again the upcoming era of data competition. With the revealing of successful business cases through statistic algorithm-based predictive analytics, also, the conversion into preemptive countermeasure through predictive analysis from follow-up action through data analysis in the past is becoming a necessity of leading enterprises. This trend is influencing security analysis and log analysis and in reality, the cases regarding the application of the big data analysis framework to large-scale log analysis and intelligent and long-term security analysis are being reported file by file. But all the functions and techniques required for a big data log analysis system cannot be accommodated in a Hadoop-based big data platform, so independent platform-based big data log analysis products are still being provided to the market. This paper aims to suggest a framework, which is equipped with a real-time and non-real-time predictive analysis engine for these independent big data log analysis systems and can cope with cyber attack preemptively.

The majority of recent intrusions reveal that the attackers do not use the previous intrusion techniques or network flaw, rather they tend to use the vulnerabilities residing inside the program, which are the running programs on the system or the processes for the service. Therefore, the security managers must focus on updating the programs with lots of time and efforts. Developers also need to patch continuously to update the program, which is a lot of burden for them. In order to solve the problem, we need to understand the vulnerabilities in the program, which has been studied for some time. And also we need to analyze the functions that contains some vulnerabilities inside. In this paper, we first analyzed the vulnerabilities of the standard C library, and Win32 API functions used in various programs. And then we described the design and implementation of the automated scanning tool for writing secure source code based on the analysis.
In the 4th Industrial Revolution, information is collected and analyzed from people and objects through the rapid development of ICT. It is possible to create value. However, there are many legal and institutional restrictions on the collection of information aimed at people. Therefore, in-depth research on the protection and use of personal information in the rapidly changing cyber security environment is needed. The purpose of this study is to protect and utilize personal information for the operation of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and big data during the 4th Industrial Revolution. It is to seek a paradigm shift. The organization of the research for this is: Chapter 1 examines the meaning of personal information during the 4th Industrial Revolution, Chapter 2 presents the framework for the review and analysis of prior research. In Chapter 3, after analyzing policies for the protection and utilization of personal information in major countries, Chapter 4 looks at the paradigm shift in personal information protection during the 4th Industrial Revolution and how to respond. Chapter 5 made some policy suggestions for the protection and utilization of personal information.

Recently, Interests on The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been increased. In the manufacturing sector, the introduction of Smart Factory, which automates and intelligent all stages of manufacturing based on Cyber Physical System (CPS) technology, is spreading. The complexity and uncertainty of smart factories are likely to cause unexpected problems, which can lead to manufacturing process interruptions, malfunctions, and leakage of important information to the enterprise. It is emphasized that there is a need to perform systematic management by analyzing the threats to the Smart Factory. Therefore, this paper systematically identifies the threats using the STRIDE threat modeling technique using the data flow diagram of the overall production process procedure of Smart Factory. Then, using the Attack Tree, we analyze the risks and ultimately derive a checklist. The checklist provides quantitative data that can be used for future safety verification and security guideline production of Smart Factory.

In this paper, we design a lightweight embedded device that can support intelligent edge computing, and show that the device quickly detects an object in an image input from a camera device in real time. The proposed system can be applied to environments without pre-installed infrastructure, such as an intelligent video control system for industrial sites or military areas, or video security systems mounted on autonomous vehicles such as drones. The On-Device AI(Artificial intelligence) technology is increasingly required for the widespread application of intelligent vision recognition systems. Computing offloading from an image data acquisition device to a nearby edge device enables fast service with less network and system resources than AI services performed in the cloud. In addition, it is expected to be safely applied to various industries as it can reduce the attack surface vulnerable to various hacking attacks and minimize the disclosure of sensitive data.
Recently, in order to build a cyber physical system(CPS) that is a technology related to the 4th industry, the construction of the virtual control system for physical model and control circuit simulation is increasingly required in various industries. It takes a lot of time and money to convert documents that are not electronically documented through direct input. For this, it is very important to digitize a large number of drawings that have already been printed through object recognition using artificial intelligence. In this paper, in order to accurately recognize objects in drawings and to utilize them in various applications, a recognition technique using artificial intelligence by analyzing the characteristics of objects in drawing was proposed. In order to improve the performance of object recognition, each object was recognized and then an intermediate file storing the information was created. And the recognition rate of the next recognition target was improved by deleting the recognition result from the drawing. In addition, the recognition result was stored as a standardized format document so that it could be utilized in various fields of the control system. The excellent performance of the technique proposed in this paper was confirmed through the experiments.

CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) is increasingly exposed to CCTV per person as the number of installations increases every year for accident prevention and facility safety. The intelligent video surveillance system technology is attracting attention to the privacy protection of exposed subjects. The intelligent video surveillance system performs a process for the privacy protection so as to perform the action type of the subject and the judgment of the situation in the simple identification of the photographed image data, or to prevent the information, from which the information of the photographed subject is exposed. The proposed technique is applied to the video surveillance system and converts the original image information taken from the video surveillance system into similar image information so that the original image information is not leaked to the outside. In this paper, we propose an image conversion mechanism that inserts a virtual face image that approximates a preset similarity.
