중국심천 삼성코닝 프로젝트 (SSG Expansion Project)는 전문적인 건설인력이 없는 발주처를 대신하여 설계단계에서 최종 턴 오버(turn over)까지 건설 전 과정에 대하여 CM을 수행한 사례로서 한국기업이 중국에서의 CM 업무를 성공적으로 수행한 대표적인 사례이며, 대규모 공장건설에 있어 건설과 생산설비의 설치에 대한 종합적인 공정관리와 설계, 시공을 동시에 수행하는 Fast Track 방식에서 범할 수 있는 설계오류 및 풀질저하에 대한 사전 예측관리, 현지의 건설특성에 적합한 각종 공법 및 요소기술의 제시를 통한 시공성 향상, 원가절감, 공기단축에 기여로 유사 프로젝트 대비 4개월 이상 단축하여 성공적으로 제품을 생산하는 성과를 달성한 사례이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 프로젝트의 각 단계별 주요 CM업무 수행현황 및 중국건설의 특징을 고찰하고, 한국기업의 중국 CM시장 진출 가능성과 진출을 위한 사전준비에 필요한 사업 단계별 유의사항에 대한 검토를 목적으로 한다. 국내 건설경기가 침체되어 있는 현재 본 연구를 통하여 중국 건설현황에 대한 올바른 이해와 중국 CM시장의 진출 및 성공에 밑거름이 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

This study aims to explore how to cognize and perform case management process to community psychiatric rehabilitation center in Busan area. The case of case manager for 12 people obtained by conducting focus group interviews were in-depth analysis. Many commissioned by a variety of human service organizations in the contract and the client-centric intake has been received. Assessment, rather than a function of mental disabilities center service needs, planning difficulties in securing resource discovery and felt. Intervention phase focuses on direct service and when several agencies responsible for the case management approach. The possession of responsibility was unclear. Mainly monthly facilities within the checking step checks are being made, there was a desire for the realistic-supervision. Completion stage expectations showed a performance evaluation oriented, and individualized case management that can be represented well on the rating scale.

This study examined the relationships among the case management implementation factors, client satisfaction and quality of life among the persons with mental illness. The survey and interviews were conducted to the 18 community-based mental health service agencies which were implementing case management, and the 381 mentally ill persons who were living in the community and were receiving services from the agencies. The path analysis and the hierarchical linear modeling were used to examine the association among the independent, mediator, and dependent variables. The major finding of this study were that the caseload had the direct relationship with the quality of life. The case management team approach had the direct relationship with the client satisfaction. The suggestions were made that more focus should be on the maintenance of the appropriate caseload, the increase of the number of the case manager, and the team approach.

The purpose of this study is to provide a suggestion to improve speciality and job performance of social work case management using importance-performance-analysis(IPA). A quantitative research design was used and data were collected from 209 social workers who are in charge of case manager job at Ulsan metropolitan area. Study participants were asked the recognition of importance-job competence and need for supervision-experience of social work case management job description on the NCS(9 competency units, 33 competency units). Descriptive analysis and IPA were performed. This study found the need for intensified job competence of 'building external operating systems' and 'development of resource linkage systems'. Also, it is necessary to provide intensive supervision for 'building an external and internal operating system.' Based on the results, future direction of intensified job performance for socla work case management was discussed.

This study examined the influence of case management implementation factors on mentally ill person's quality of life based on case managers and clients who are from Mental Health Total Care voucher agencies. Hierarchical Lineral Model was used to verify client factors, case manager factors, agency factors and service providing factors. For the first time in our nation, major findings were found that case manager's career and intervention range have influence on mentally ill persons's quality of life, and that there is no influence for the caseload below 20 cases per one person. The practical implication was suggested about usefulness of case manager's career, caseload and intervention range within local social community system.

This paper is to probe foreign cases about risk management and to develop a method for the risk management of the digital resources, This is under the perception that the risk management is necessary for digital archiving implementation. OCLC and Cornell University Library are the leading institutions in the area of risk management. They are the best examples because they make a decision about the risk management through the testing and experimentation. Based on case studies, identification of element of risk management process in our environment, the foundation of national center for risk management, and testing file format and migration program as practical plan of risk management for digital resources are suggested.

This study attempted to: (1) operate a Strengths-based case management program; (2) determine the effectiveness of strengths-based case management for the elderly; (3) evaluate the effect of the coordinating program on the capabilities of ADL, IADL, and life-satisfaction of the elderly. The subject of this study was 8 home-bound elderly in lowest income class in Gwang-ju City. The program was practiced from November 2008 to April 2009 for 6 months period. The outcome of study has shown that strengths-based case management has determined a fair of amount of effectiveness in carrying out their short-term tasks. The program tried to assess the strengths of the elderly, and evaluate the outcomes of the program using ADL, IADl items and life-satisfaction developed for the study. The data collected by pre-test and post-test of the program showed that the scores of life-satisfaction were improved statistically significantly. But capabilities of ADL, IADL items were slightly improved, but not statistically significant. Successive effort to operate strengths-based case management must be required for the improvement of capabilities of ADL, IADL, and quality of life of the elderly.

The main focus of the study is to find out the origin of the case management in social work and relevant background and context around it, by using the method of genealogy, an historical framework or perspective developed by Foucault, French social philosopher. The reasons of the study are two fold : First, why the case management can be established as a major strategy of social work field in such a very short time. Second, since the case management has been accepted, why it has been reported ceaselessly that a lot of case managers have experienced the severe stress and sufferings in carrying out the case management practice. The results of the study shows that the case management is partly a very social device needed in the late 20th century to manage the social work resources and manpower efficiently, which might be against the genuine social work's mission and idealism. In a conclusion, to retrieve the genuine identities of social work profession, not only the practice case management should be cautious to tendency of management and control inherited in it but also be balanced by the traditional ideals of human emancipation and liberation.
