This paper investigates the effects of R&D capability, manufacturing capability, understanding of the Biz model on performance of Korean start-up companies, especially the moderating effects of manufacturing capability and understanding of the Biz model. We analysis 1103 Korean start-up companies based on "2019 Survey of Korea Venture Firms" As a result, the manufacturing capability and employee's unnderstanding the Biz-model have the positive relationship with company performance. Especially, we found that 'employee's unnderstanding the Biz-model' moderates the relationship between R&D capability & performance positively.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the selection of educational contents when developing a course for cultivating global business communication competence. Reviewing previous studies on sub-elements of global competence, the researcher selected the sub-elements of global business communication competence. A survey was conducted on 148 employees of 20 companies regarding the importance of the sub-elements of global business communication competence. As a result, it was concluded that the sub-elements of relatively high importance-English email writing, reading and understanding of English materials and documents, telephone English, business English conversation, understanding of other cultures, communication skills, business knowledge-should be included in the educational contents of a course for cultivating global business communication competence.

This study tried to understand the effect of internal resources, capabilities, and business model innovation of venture enterprises on industrial property performance, as based on previous studies that securing industrial property rights has a positive effect on the technology commercialization of venture companies. Venture company capabilities were classified into intrinsic elements of a company (company's research resources) and creative elements (commercialization capabilities) that implement them, and they were intended to show that they could lead to a company's potential competitiveness through innovation in business models. In order to verify this research purpose, an empirical analysis was conducted on 1,733 corporate companies among venture confirmation companies subject to the 2019 venture company precision survey. It was confirmed that the systematic research organization and commercialization capabilities of venture companies were significant (+) in industrial property performance. However, in the final research model that applied both the rules of the business model's innovation variable, commercialization capability and business model innovation were significant (-), and research organization × business model innovation showed significant results (+). This means that venture companies' excellent resources and capabilities can have a positive impact on industrial property performance individually, but when applying the level of innovation in the actual business model, they must interact with the business model. The results of this study are meaningful in that it is necessary to pursue business model innovation that secures clear differentiators compared to competitors as well as strengthening the company's internal resources and capabilities to secure industrial assets and innovation growth.

In recent years, success of information system projects to possess competitive advantage in business has become very important for stakeholders. Stakeholders who are interested in the success of information system projects typically consist of users who need the system, developers who build it, and project managers who are responsible for project success. However, recently, there has been increasing in the number of business analysts engaged in bridging relationships among these stakeholders in information system projects. So far, there have been many researches on the competence of users, developers or project managers. But, the research on the competencies of business analysts has not been done much. So, in this study, what competencies are needed for business analysts who are engaged in information system projects are researched, and the level and difference of stakeholders' expectations and satisfaction with them are identified, using IPA techniques. The results of this study are expected to contribute greatly to providing basic information on the development of competency models or training programs needed for recruitment, evaluation and training of business analysts who are or will be engaged in information system projects.

As the domestic consulting industry matured, consultants were required to have insight into customer's business and consulting business. Gaining these insights requires deep understanding of the business domains and high degree of competencies. This study empirically analyzed the data collected through the survey in order to apply the ICMCI competence model to domestic consultants. As a result of the study, it was found that business competency and technical competency had a positive effect on project performance, but values & behavior competency were not statistically significant. On the other hand, it was found that only technical competency, values & behavior competency had a positive effect on social-relational competency. Through this study, it was confirmed that a deep understanding and perception of the consulting business is necessary to grow into a professional consultant, but there is a limit to generalizing the research results because the characteristics of the population cannot be sufficiently reflected with a small sample.

2020년 상반기 코로나19 팬데믹 사태 이후 비즈니스의 세계는 매우 다른 모습으로 변화되었다. 향후 비즈니스의 키워드는 디지털로 수렴하는 비대면(Untact)이라 할 수 있다. 즉 디지털을 향해 가속페달을 밟을 것이고 디지털 커뮤니케이션 중심의 비즈니스가 주목받게 될 것이다. 코로나 사태로 인해 사람들이 온라인으로 쏠리면서 디지털 미디어 활용역량이 중요한 화두로 떠올랐다. 코로나 사태가 모든 접점에서 디지털화가 얼마나 중요한지를 일깨워 준 것이다. 본 연구는 디지털 미디어 기기 및 커뮤니케이션 활용역량이 창업의도에 미치는 영향에 관해 위험감수성 및 진취성의 매개효과를 반영하여 진행하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 디지털 미디어기기 및 커뮤니케이션 활용역량이 창업에 있어서도 유의한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하고, 디지털 미디어 기기 및 커뮤니케이션 활용 역량이 창업의도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 위험감수성과 진취성이 매개역할을 할 수 있는지를 규명하고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 사람중심 조직문화 특성이 중소기업의 비지니스 생태계와 회사탁월성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 비지니스 생태계와 회사탁월성은 기업성과에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 기업의 사람중심 조직문화 특성을 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임, 업무몰입도로 구분하고 각각의 독립변수들이 매개 변수인 비즈니스 생태계와 화사탁월성에 미치는 영향과 비니니스 생태계와 회사탁월성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 인과관계 분석이 주된 연구대상이다. 연구의 결과를 자세히 제시하면 다음과 같다. 사람중심 조직문화 특성과 비즈니스 생태계 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임, 업무몰입도는 비즈니스 생태계에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사람중심 조직문화 특성과 회사탁월성 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면 업무몰입도는 회사탁월성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임은 통계적으로 회사탁월성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 기업역량인 비즈니스 생태계와 회사탁월성과 경영성과 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면, 비즈니스 생태계는 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 회사탁월성는 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과와 함께 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 두 가지 시사점을 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 기존연구와 사람중심 조직문화 특성을 활용하여 중소기업을 대상으로 실증연구 했다는 점에서 본 연구의 학문적 기여점을 찾을 수 있다. 중소기업은 대기업이나 공공기관에 비해 사람중심 경영에 대한 인식이 낮을 것으로 추측되었으나 분석결과 사람중심 조직문화 특성이 기업역량과 기업성과에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다는데 큰 의미가 있다고 하겠다. 둘째, 기업은 기존의 사업중심의 전통적 기업가정신과 사람중심경영이 잘 융합되어 중소기업 핵심역량에 영향을 주고 이는 다시 기업성과로 이어지는 결과를 낳는 선순환 모형이 된다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

In this paper, we propose that logistics companies will have different business models when using blockchain technology. In addition, it intends to understand the difference in absorptive capacity and performance of logistics companies using blockchain technology. In order to achieve this research objective, this study conducted a survey on logistics companies and analyzed the collected data. Cluster analysis was performed to understand the business model, and ANOVA was performed to understand the significance of cluster analysis. The difference in absorptive capacity and performance was analyzed according to the business model identified through cluster analysis. In addition, PLS analysis was conducted to determine the difference in absorption capacity and performance. The results show that logistics companies have different types of business models in adopting blockchain technology. Logistics companies groups with high degree of development of business models showed high results in terms of absorption capacity and performance level.

This paper analyzes a case of successful faculty entrepreneurship through a coupled process of open innovation in a university context, using the core competency theory perspective. Initially, the current state of faculty entrepreneurship is examined, and the effects of interdisciplinary coupled processes of open innovation are explored, focusing on the case of 'Omotion Inc.,' a startup utilizing generative AI technology for hyper-realistic 3D virtual human experiences. The research methodology involves in-depth interviews with Omotion Inc.'s co-founders, technology commercialization professionals, and experts in the field, followed by analysis based on foundational theories. Applying the core competency theory, this paper scrutinizes the process of integrating diverse expertise and technologies from various academic disciplines. The analysis goes beyond the limitations of faculty entrepreneurship confined to a single technology-centric research domain. Instead, it explores the possibilities of enhancement and value creation through coupled processes, providing practical implications for the university entrepreneurial ecosystem. The aim is to extend the traditional roles of education and research within the university, presenting a role in economic value creation beyond the boundaries of conventional faculty entrepreneurship. Through the collaboration of two faculty members, this study showcases the creation of novel technology and business models. It establishes that successful coupled processes of open innovation in faculty entrepreneurship, from a core competency theory perspective, require the entrepreneurial firm to possess (1) entrepreneurial capabilities, (2) technological capabilities, and (3) networking capabilities. The implications of this research highlight the positive impact of coupled processes of open innovation in faculty entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the Omotion Inc. case, offering guidance on entrepreneurial directions for university members preparing for entrepreneurship.

This research aimed to investigate the benefits of incorporating Problem-Based Learning(PBL) approach in Business English classes in a Korean university. This study focused on student experiences of learning in a PBL environment. The study examined the feasibility of cultivating students' key job competencies, that of their learning achievement and their satisfaction with the PBL approach. Data on student experiences were gathered from questionnaires. The analysis of the data showed, first, that the PBL could cultivate students' key job competencies. Second, the PBL could have a positive effect on students' acquisition of business content knowledge and their English language development. Third, the PBL approach achieved above moderate level of student satisfaction.
