In data broadcasting environments, the server periodically broadcasts data items in the database through the broadcast channel. When each client wants to access any data item, it should monitor the broadcast channel and wait for the desired item to arrive. Client data caching is a very effective technique for reducing the time spent waiting for the desired item to be broadcasted. This paper proposes a new client cache management scheme, named 2Q-CF, to reduce this waiting time and evaluate its performance on the basis of a simulation model. The performance results indicate that 2Q-CF scheme shows superior performances over LRU-CF and CF in the average response time.

In this study, two types of LED spot light with the development of the current broadcast studio-light is installed in the space being used in many products, companies in the UK Arri-650W, 1000W Fresnel spot light and illumination, color temperature and color rendering comparison of data measured compared with the target of the shooting and the color rendition on images was measured by comparing the color. In the future, broadcast - shooting LED spot light replacing whether the available studies on the performance evaluation were analyzed. Experimental evaluation of a replacement for halogen lights in LED Spot light is potential was confirmed.

방송통신고등학교는 국가수준 교육과정의 개정 시기를 맞아 방송고 학습자 특성을 반영한 온라인 콘텐츠 설계를 위해서 콘텐츠 질 분석, 수업 구조 분석, 화면 로그인 경로 분석 등을 통해서 시행하고 방송고 온라인 콘텐츠 교수설계 모형을 도출하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서 도출한 온라인 콘텐츠 교수설계 모형은 먼저 크게 수업 설계, 수업 실행, 수업 평가로 구성되어 있다. 수업 설계는 학습자 분석, 교수환경분석, 교수 분석, 교수 전략개발의 단계를 가지고 있다. 수업 실행은 수업에 대한 동기 유발, 선수학습 회상, 수업 목표 제시, 수업 내용 제시 및 학습 안내 제공, 수행 행동 유도 및 피드백 제공, 목표 수행 평가, 파지 및 전이 단계를 가지고 있다. 수업 평가는 최종 수업 평가 및 최종 피드백 제공 단계를 가지고 있다.

불확실성이 큰 콘텐츠 산업의 특성상 방송 콘텐츠는 막대한 투자에 비해 그 효과 예측이 매우 어려우며 아직까지 출연진과 제작진에 대한 합리적인 평가지표도 존재하지 않는다. 방송용 드라마의 경쟁력을 평가하는 수단으로 현재까지 가장 유용한 지표는 시청률이다. 비록 스마트폰과 같은 매체를 통한 시청이 늘어남에 따라 TV 시청률의 절대 수치는 지속적으로 감소하고 있지만 TV 시청률을 대체할 만한 유용한 지표는 아직까지 없다. 본 연구에서는 방송용 드라마에 참여하는 인적자원의 평가지표와 시청률의 비교 우위를 활용하여 드라마의 흥행성을 과학적으로 예측하려고 한다.

Sport commentators play an increasingly influential role in commercial sports broadcasting. Public trust is regarded as one of the most significant qualifications for sport commentators and this study used a Fuzzy AHP method in deciding the relative importance of professionalism, reliability, dynamic, and narrative skill. Based on the results, we conducted an evaluation of the public trust for the four SBS sport commentators for the 2010 South-Africa World Cup. The conclusion showed that professionalism and narrative skill were regarded as the most important factors for sport commentators to gain public trust. Among the four commentators evaluated, commentator # 1 got highest score overall, the soccer expert group highly appreciated commentator # 2, and the non-expert group highly appreciated commentator # 3.

This study, expending the existing concept of hostile media perception to biased media perception, empirically examined the effects of TV audience's political disposition(liberal, neutral, conservative) and broadcasting company's political disposition perceived by the audience(liberal, neutral, conservative) on evaluations of the broadcasting channel(interestedness, diversity, creativity, reliability, usefulness, fairness, public interest). With the nationwide online survey data from 624 adult audiences, a broadcasting company evaluated as the most neutral in political disposition at the moments of data gathering was selected and respondents' evaluations of the broadcasting channel were analyzed in a two-way factorial multiple analysis of covariance(MANCOVA). The results showed that the perceived political disposition of the broadcasting company affects audiences' evaluations of the channel while audiences' their own political dispositions do not. In addition, due to the interaction effects between audience's and broadcasting company's political dispositions, congruency in political dispositions led to positive evaluations(congenial media perceptions) while incongruency led to negative ones(hostile media perceptions). Based on these results, theoretical and empirical implications were discussed in terms of the formation of attitudes toward TV broadcasting channels.

Basic and transmission video quality testing was performed in real-time mode using hardware video codec based on MPEG-2 MP@ML standard including subsequent transmitting and receiving satellite simulator unit. The double-stimulus Impairment scale method and the double-stimulus continous quality scale method based on CCIR 500-5 were used as an evaluation method. The whole digital broadcasting satellite system consisting of MPEG-2 codec, system mux/demux, channel codec, channel, modem, antenna, etc. was put into the overall video quality testbed and the basic and transmission error quality assessment was performed at various bitrates and BER for an integrated system performance evaluation. In transmission error video quality testing, transmission error video quality maintained on average above 3.9 point on the 5-point scale. The low-bit rate quality such as film mode(@2Mbps) highly depended on the statitical characteristics of video source and maintained on average around 2.7 point.

현재 방송중계용으로 쓰이는 주파수대는 3~30GHz의 M/W 대역이다. 그러나 갈수록 늘어나는 서비스와 전송용량의 증대로 인해 주파수 부족현상이 일어나는 추세이다. 이에 대안 방안으로 주파수 재배치에 관하여 대두가 되고 있다. 이동방송 중계용 링크인 FPU 링크는 차후 다른 주파수 대역으로 이전시 이러한 링크에서 사용되었던 시스템 제원을 토대로 필요한 대역에 대한 다양한 변조방식으로 먼저 시뮬레이션 평가 후 이용채널 개수 및 이전 가능 여부 둥과 같은 조치가 수행되어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 M/W대역의 주파수를 이용한 서비스 중의 하나인 이동전송용 중계방송시스템인 FPU(Field Pick Up)시스템을 구현하고 무선채널에서 영상을 전송하였을 때의 성능을 PSNR, BER의 특성을 통하여 평가하였다. 전송되는 데이터는 실제 동영상(320$\times$240 61frame)을 동영상 압축방식 중 하나인 MPEG을 이용하여 압축하고, 압축된 영상 정보를 무선 채널상에 전송하였을 때 복원된 영상을 분석하였다.

2005년 국내에서 본방송을 실시한 DMB는 모바일 방송이라는 새로운 방송 이용 환경을 창출하였다. 더불어 기존 TV를 통한 재난 방송의 사각지대로 거론되어 온 야외, 정전, 해상, 이동 환경에서 재난정보를 전달할 수 있어 방송 매체로 평가되면서, 다양한 기술 개발이 진행되었다. KBS는 DMB를 통한 재난경보방송 기술을 구현하여 2008년 제주도 지역 실험방송과 2009년 전국 실험방송을 거쳐 2010년 8월부터 본방송을 실시하는 등, DMB 재난경보방송 체계 마련을 위해 노력하여 왔다. 이러한 과정에서 차기 국가 모바일 재난경보 체계 마련의 필요성과 방향성에 대한 경험적 안을 제시해 본다. 본 연구는 급변하는 미디어 환경을 고려하여 모바일 재난 정보 전달체계에서 통신망의 역할을 강화하여 방송과 융합한 모델을 마련하고, 조속히 범국가적 재난정보의 표준 규격을 마련할 것을 촉구하며, 궁극적으로 뉴미디어 도입 정책에서 재난 정보전달에 관한 공공성 정책이 우선되어야 함을 제시하였다.

This paper examines the factors that influence viewers' attitudes toward the public service broadcasting (PSB) system and the license fee. A online survey group was classified into four types on the basis of their expectations and evaluations of public values and demographic characteristics. Subsequentially, the attitudes each type of the viewers displayed toward the PSB system and the license fee were analyzed. The result reveals that young women in their 20-40s have more negative attitudes toward the PSB system than any other groups; those women tend to have high expectations on 'diversity' whereas they show low satisfactions with all the other public values. Additionally, this study attempted to detect factors that affect the attitudes toward the PSB system and the license fee. The important factors was not only the viewers' demographic characteristics but also their expectations and evaluations regrading the public values of PSB.
