This study focuses on the workplaces of two distinct nations, the United States and Korea, to ascertain the impact of culture on emotional intelligence (EI). This paper examines if EI is dependant on culture by finding significant variances of emotional responses under a given situation. The results suggest that EI is significantly impacted by national culture. In addition, this study investigates the relationship between cultural distance and EI by using the secondary data of 19,402 participants across 13 nations. The results demonstrate that only power distance among Hofstede's dimensions has significant effect on EI.

This study was conducted to revalidate CQS and to examine the factors influencing cultural intelligence among Korean students studying abroad. 143 Korean students in USA and Canada were participated in the survey. Confirmatory factor analysis identified a model with four factors and CQS has negative correlation with acculturation stress and academic stress but positive correlation with subjective wellbeing. This findings suggest that CQS is a reliable and valid scale. Hierarchical regression analyses confirmed that personality is more significant predictor than cultural experiences for CQS. Discussion focuses on the importance of the findings, limitations and future directions.

This study attempted to provide basic data for developing strategies to improve the multicultural efficacy of nursing university students by identifying the mediating effect of emotional intelligence on the relationship between multicultural perception and multicultural efficacy of nursing university students. The subjects of the study were 179 nursing students at two universities in J province and G city. The SPSS/23.0 program was used to analyze the data with descriptive statistics; an independent t-test, analysis of variance ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and mediating effect analysis were performed using Process Macro 4.0. As a result of the study, nursing students multicultural efficacy was found to be positively correlated with multicultural awareness(r=.596, p<.001) and a positive correlation with emotional intelligence(r=.620, p<.001). Emotional intelligence showed a mediating effect on the relationship between multicultural perception and multicultural efficacy(β=.471, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to development and apply systematic programs to increase multicultural perception and increase emotional intelligence for improving the multicultural efficacy of nursing university students.

This paper proposes an arts and culture content creation tool powered by artificial intelligence. With the recent advances in technologies including artificial intelligence, there are active research activities on creating art and culture contents. However, it is still difficult and cumbersome for those who are not familiar with programming and artificial intelligence. In order to deal with the content creation with new technologies, we analyze related creation tools, services and technologies that process with raw visual and audio data, generate new media contents and visualize intermediate results. We then extract key requirements for a future creation tool for creators who are not familiar with programming and artificial intelligence. We finally introduce an intuitive and integrated content creation tool for end-users. We hope that this tool will allow creators to intuitively and creatively generate new media arts and culture contents based on not only understanding given data but also adopting new technologies.

The purpose of this study is to identify the multicultural competence of university students majoring in social welfare studies and to verify the influence of human rights attitude and spiritual intelligence that affect multicultural competence using structural equation model. Spiritual intelligence was set as an independent variable and multicultural competence was set as a dependent variable. Human rights attitude was established as a mediating variable. Study subjects were 259 university students majoring in social welfare studies at 5 universities in the Daegu, Gyoungbuk area. Spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude appeared to have a significant effect on multicultural competence, indicating that a higher level of spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude were correlated with a higher level of human rights attitude. Also in the pathway of spiritual intelligence on multicultural competence, human rights attitude had a significant mediating effect. When the university student majoring in social welfare studies had a high level of spiritual intelligence including transcendence and meaning and purpose of life, their perspective on human rights which is important in the practice of social welfare affected the multicultural competence required to assist immigrants of various identities. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended for the university students majoring in social welfare to have the "three-multi-sensitivities" including sensitivity of multicultural competence, sensitivity of spiritual intelligence, and sensitivity of human right attitude.

This paper aims to show the development pattern of the impact of artificial intelligence on the arts and culture according to the scenario analysis, and suggests the direction of the arts and culture content industry in the future. We assume four scenarios based on creativity of artificial intelligence beyond humans and controllability for them, then explore the path leading to each scenario. In addition, for the most ideal route to coexist with artificial intelligence, we propose the provision of safety system for human and artificial intelligence, innovation of the education system, and preemptive investment from now on.

This study aims to analyze the cultural intelligence and it's relationship with cross-culture adjustment satisfaction, and performance, and then, we prove the moderating role of international experience between cultural intelligence and cross-culture adjustment with staying in the host country. An exploratory pilot study was conducted with a sample of 188 Chinese expatriates working in Korean company in Korea. Then, we proved the moderating role of international experience between cultural intelligence and cross-cultural adjustment. The results of this study have three implications for human resource development. First this study expanded the research of CQ up to the area of empirical investigation. Second, the empirical findings also supported an incremental and predictive validity that CQ increased explained variance of cross-cultural adjustment. Third, the moderating role of international experience in this study showed the importance of both CQ and international experience with staying in the host country.

We aim to investigate whether the activities in the 2015 revised elementary English textbooks are reflected in terms of Multiple Intelligences. Specifically, we analyze three types of activities including project, game, and cultural activities in three types of the 5^th grade English textbooks. Additionally, we compare the differences in the Multiple Intelligences according to three different publishers. The data includes three different sorts of fifth-grade English textbook activities. We found that verbal-linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and visual-spatial intelligence are heavily involved in project activities. Verbal-linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, and kinesthetic intelligence are all utilized in game activities. Lastly, cultural activities demonstrate verbal-linguistic and visual-spatial intelligence. In consideration of the diversity of students, we suggest that English textbooks need to consider diverse and well balanced approach to incorporating Multiple Intelligences in order to make the textbooks to meet the needs of the diversity of learners.

본 논문은 2차원적인 문화재 이미지를 모델링 하여, 대한민국의 시대 별 탑의 차이점과 특징을 분석하고 인공지능을 이용한 3D 복원과 구현을 위한 연구이다. 오늘날 현대 사회에서 디지털 매체 및 정보화 시대에서 여러 산업 분야에 적용이 되고 있다. 기존 2D 이미지를 벗어나 문화재의 모습을 다양한 각도에서 쉽게 관찰해 볼 수 있도록 하여, 3D 형태의 복원이 적합하여 연구를 진행하였다. 최근 인공지능 및 기술의 발달로 문화재 정보를 바탕으로 한 3차원 기술을 사용하여 다양한 데이터들과 프로그램을 이용한 모델링이 가능하다. 현재 문화재 복원은 다양한 자료와 전문가의 기술 및 역사적인 기록물 자료에 의존해 복구한다. 이러한 기법의 문화재 복원은 기록에 남길 수 있는 정보 수집의 효율적인 방법이 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 시대별 탑의 특징을 보여주며, 복원이 실제적이고도 구체적인 다각도의 방향에서 더 정밀하고 정확하게 도출하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

The aim of this study is to explore the paradigm shifts in culture and system related to life in terms of AI and the present point of view in which creating human values together are important. An approach that focuses on how AI-related phenomena work in modern society forms the basis of this research. Therefore, to clarify the meaning of "AI phenomenon" converging it as a part of social culture, this study was intended to find out the value incorporated in the social system such as ethics and equality together with the literature review. Inferring the technical culture that are combined with the AI that the members of society can do together is as important as technical understanding in the functional aspect. Therefore, this study was intended to suggest new culture that the cultural imagination and the social system create harmonizing each other, that is, the possibility of "AI culture". So, this article has a characteristic of a preliminary study, too.
