A Study on the Selection of New Town Area Using GIS -in Mongolia - (GIS를 이용한 신도시개발 가능지역 선정 연구 -몽골지역을 대상으로-)

  • This study aims to research into a plan for the spatial design on the major facilities in new-town region in Mongolia by using the spatial analytical technique in GIS. In case of Mongolian region, the demand for new-town development is rapidly increasing around Ulaanbaatar, where is the capital. On the other hand, the adequately relevant ground or the spatial-design technique is failing to be applied. This study extracted the region available for developing new down by using spatial analytical technique in GIS, and researched into the spatial-design plan for housing complex, filtration plant, sewage disposal plant, power plant, general park, crematory. The housing complex in the targeted region could be known to be adequate to be positioned around watercourse and road. It could be known to be adequate for filtration plant, which is the source of drinking water, to be located in the upper-stream region of a river, which is secured good quality of water, and for sewage disposal plant to be located in the lower-stream region available for minimizing occurrence of contamination. It is judged to be required for a proposed site of power plant to be located in the upper-stream region, for the park unit, which is space of the living culture, to be repaired and expanded the existing facilities, and for traffic network to be expanded through predicting demand along with new-town development. It is judged to be probably needed to be reflected even the flexible aspect for changing design through surveying the feasibility and economic efficiency on the future spatial design.

A Study on the Improvement of Foreign User Services in Academic Library: Focusing on the K University Library (대학도서관의 외국인 서비스 개선 방안에 대한 연구 - K대학교 도서관을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to suggest the ways to improve academic library's services for foreign users. For this purpose, this study analysed foreign user services of the libraries of universities which have more than 1,000 foreign students and also examined the K university library's foreign user services. And this research classified the information services for foreign users into four types, which are multilingual library homepage, multilingual notices, librarian dedicated to foreigners and multilingual user education. This study analysed the information services of a librarian dedicated to foreigners, user education for foreign students, library space for foreigners and specialized programs for foreign users and also examined the user education satisfactory survey of the K university library and conducted in-depth interview with foreign students and faculties of the K university to figure out the effect of foreign user services. As a result, this research suggests 'providing multilingual service through positioning a librarian for foreign users', 'study and research support services through customized user education', 'developing specialized service' and 'supporting extracurricular program by academic library' as the practical ways to improve academic library's services for foreign users.

Development Plan of Performance Annual Salary System In the Public Sector (공공부문 성과연봉제의 발전방안 -T공단을 중심으로-)

  • In recent years, problems like the formation of the organizational culture that emphasizes the outcome, deepening of stagnation of promotion, the advent of high wages and the open era, the shortage of talented human resources has occurred. Thus, public agencies have an effort to improve the traditional seniority supply wage system and have carried out introducing the performance annual salary system. This study analyzed performance annual salary system problems and the improvement plan in addition to the investigation of the recognition of employees related to the outcome annual salary system of recent public agencies. Performance annual salary system of public agencies was introduced in conjunction with the evaluation of the public agencies. Performance annual salary system of this way were studied something that it have been properly secured, what is problems generated by the annual salary system fusing process and improvement about them. According to the study, It found that there are various problems like strong negative perceptions of overall performance annual salary system, the sense of discomfort occurrence associated with the implementation of the outcome annual salary system, salary piling of objectivity for the performance evaluation, etc. In order to improve these problems, It is necessary to converse of negative recognization, eliminate discomfort of performance annual salary system, provide fair evaluation criteria of the outcome, and due to the implementation annual salary system, and clarification of sectoral performance concepts and criteria.

Quality Characteristics of Hwanggeumju as a Traditional Home-Brewed Liquor (전통 가양주인 황금주의 품질 특성)

  • The quality characteristics of Hwanggeumju (a type of traditional Korean rice wine), which has been described in an ancient document (Sangayorok), were investigated. During its fermentation, its pH gradually decreased from 4.23 to 3.96); and after four days of fermentation, its sugar content significantly decreased. After seven days, its alcohol content rapidly increased to 15.8 percent. Its major organic acid is lactic acid, but malic, succinic, citric and acetic acid were also detected in it. The free amino acid analysis showed relatively high alanine, arginine, asparagine, glutamic acid and leucine contents. The sensory evaluation resulted in high scores for color, turbidity and taste.

Analysis of Visitor's Satisfaction Factors and Determinants in Naejangsan National Park, Korea (내장산국립공원의 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing the practical park management. For this, satisfaction degree, satisfaction factors and estimated model by satisfaction variables of visitors analyzed through a questionnaire survey in Naejangsan National Park, Korea. In the evaluation of the satisfaction, variables of 'Lack of public facility'. 'Lack of use program', 'Lack of facility to stay' 'Charge of user fee, parking fee' and 'Exorbitant pay' at Naejangsan park office and 'Charge of user fee, parking fee', 'Lack of use program' and 'Lack of facility to stay' at Baekam park office was more unsatisfied than any other variable. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'Facility management' at Naejangsan park office(34.3%) and 'user management' at Baekam park office(45.6%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'damage of trail', 'Lack of commercial facility', and 'Littering problem' at Naejangsan park office and 'damage of cultural and historic resource', 'Lack of commercial facility', 'Touting' at Baekam park office. So, Naejangsan National Park needed intensive management policy and institutional apparatus for facility management and user education.

  • This study is conducted to activate the education of leisure activity for the old age so as to improve the qualities of the lives in the prolonged elderly lives. The method is examined to see how the level and types of leisure activities and life satisfaction for elderly. The target of the survey for this study was the 280 male and female elderly living in S city and C city. the statistics used for data analysis were reliability, frequency, percentage, mean standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA and correlation. The results of study were as follow; First, the result investigating the degrees of old people's participation in the pattern of leisure activities and life satisfaction showed pastime activities and family centered activities as the most participating leisure activity pattern, self developing activities and religious social service activities as the least participating one. Second, in comprehensive social demographic characteristic of the elderly participating in the leisure activities pattern, it was shown that the higher their level of lives was, the better their family atmosphere was, the healthier they were, they participated more in their leisure activities. Third, when the life satisfaction were reviewed to find what relation there were according to the pattern of leisure activities, it was shown that the more they participated in recreation and social activities, the more they participated in self developing activities, the more they participated in family centered activities, their life satisfaction was higher. and the old people who did the pastime activities showed high life satisfaction too. Considering this result, we need to develop systematic programs suited to our culture. In addition, Home Economics Education has to support the ideas and leisure experts have to be cultivated.

A Study on the Acquisition of Subject Specialized Manpower and Institutionalization (주제전문인력 확보 및 제도화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, an investigation has been made on the status of the issuance of librarian qualification, the status of operating Subject specialized librarians at home and abroad, the status of professional manpower of the similar cultural facilities, and their recruitment method, based on which an attempt has been made to propose a way to nurture the Subject specialized librarians. First, I propose a method for training Subject specialized librarians through a regular curriculum and a retraining process, while suggest the ways to nurture the Subject specialized librarians from undergraduate and also nurture the existing librarians to become the Subject specialized librarians. Second, the basic qualification of the Subject specialized librarians must have a career of more than 3 years in a specific subject area with a master's degree or higher, and in order to have a subject area background, it is proposed that a bachelor's degree or a master's degree must absolutely be acquired in the corresponding subject area. Third, in order to improve the treatment of such Subject specialized librarians, the Subject specialized librarians in the administrative service group could be organized into a research librarian (or library and information science) series and types as a subordinate literary series under the researcher position. That is, it is proposed to differentiate the librarians and the Subject specialized librarians by reorganizing series and types of the Subject specialized librarians while maintaining the current librarian series.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the factor of determination on satisfaction level of the Goksung Simchung Festival. Goksung Simchung Festival has been held since 2000, and Goksung Simchung Festival 2004, which is the fifth, is holding soon. Simchung Festival has unique aspect that it is organised various experience programs and items which stress the importance of "environment" in Seomjin river and Simchung's "Hyo (filial piety)". A study is analysed through research that is consisted of satisfaction factors' items of 17 local festival visitor to study factors of determination of local festival visitor's satisfaction level. This research data is analysed statistical techniques, which are multivariate regression analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis, and extracted 4 factors, which are souvenir and food, content of the festival, convenient facilities, and publicity work. In conclusion, the festival is likely to attract more tourists and make them satisfied if better content of the festival is provided. Therefore, most of the tourists need to becoming cleared lo be satisfied due to its values of culture recognition through various contents of the festival. fun factors, and experience programs, So the manager and the director should have continual attention to satisfaction factors of local festival.

An Analysis of Food Waste Generation of Residents and Food Waste Resources in Multifamily Housing (음식물쓰레기 자원화를 위한 공동주택 거주자의 음식물쓰레기 배출량 및 자원화 의향에 관한 분석)

  • With rising food waste, the management activities have gained growing attention, and the disposal options, particularly utilization of food waste for energy recovery, become central. This research examines the factors affecting food waste generation and the tendency to resource food waste. The self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted in newly built multifamily housing estates to collect data, and 300 responses were analyzed. The statistical analysis showed that most of the respondents purchased food materials in largely franchised grocery stores and discarded food that had been too long refrigerated to edible. The lifecycle of food consumption was divided into three states - food purchase plan, cooking and food waste collection. Regression analysis was employed to find out the relationships between three stages and food waste generation or tendency to resource food waste. The results described that food waste generation being affected by the stage of food purchase plan (food waste removal conditions) was statistically significant while it's statistically significant that the stage of cooking (prepurchase considerations) influenced the attitude toward food waste resource. The research findings indicated that food is overconsumed, and further many viewed food waste resources as a proactive and integrative mode in the global wave of sustainability.

Effects of Hope, Grateful Disposition, Workplace Spirituality on Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Nurses (간호사의 희망, 감사성향, 일터영성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study assesses the association of nurses' hope, grateful disposition, and workplace spirituality with the goals of providing human resource management plans that lead to efficient and competitive nurse structure by building a nurse organizational culture based on analyzing the influences affecting organizational citizenship behavior. Participants were 147 nurses working in four general hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The survey data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression via SPSS WIN 18.0. Results showed that organizational citizenship behavior is positively associated with nurse's hope (${\gamma}=.22{\sim}.36$, p<.001), grateful disposition (${\gamma}=.38$, p<.001) and workplace spirituality (${\gamma}=.38{\sim}.54$, p<.001). The significant predictors of organizational citizenship behavior were workplace spirituality (${\beta}=.54$, p<.001), hope of turnover (${\beta}=.12$, p<.001), hope (${\beta}=.09$, p<.001) and grateful disposition (${\beta}=.08$, p<.001), which explained 41.6% of the variance in organizational citizenship behavior. This study systematizes a theory for workplace spirituality processing the early stage research in nurse structure. To improve organizational citizenship behavior among nurses, educational programs and supporting systems should be developed to increase nurses' hope, disposition of grateful disposition, and workplace spirituality.
