Case Study of Applying Self-Checkup Preparation for the Successful Technology Based Startup (성공적 기술창업 촉진을 위한 사전자가진단 (Self-Checkup Preparation)항목 개발연구)

  • Technology based would-be entrepreneurs have constantly increased as coming with increasing demands for technology based startup. However, technology based startup need to go through throne field in the preparation and launching process. This paper help technology based would be entrepreneurs recognizing and pivoting all potential fatal flaws covering entrepreneurs to BM with strategies by providing self check-up lists. This paper have developed all check list based upon the previous literature reviews about technology commercialization with carrying Focused Group Interview with mentor and investor involved in the early stage of venture growth. In particular, this paper have applied these tools over 104 participants(would-be entrepreneur and entrepreneurs in the early startup) attending in Hanbat Startup Item Validation Program and Startup Leading University program. This paper developed the mega categories of list as follows: Entrepreneurship, technology and patent, target customer and market, product, BM and strategy. It also developed 17 different concept of components and 58 specific sub-lists under maga list. The research results of paper will provide solid foundation of communication with participants about checking up their state of preparation for startup as applying to mentoring for would-be entrepreneurs and to entrepreneurship education.

Lightweight Framework For Supporting Mobile Web Development (초고속 모바일 웹 개발을 위한 경량화 프레임워크)

  • Mobile web applications are being used and changed rapidly due to the growth of mobile device performance. But, cost of development environment and standards make the high development cost and low productivity. It is main reason that the design and implementation of the applications are more time consuming than general computing environments. In this paper, we propose MWeb(MobileWeb)-Framework based on the agile methodology and Ruby on Rails that is a kind of framework for supporting mobile web application development using mobile web standards. This work consists of the mobile web development architecture and agile process model. MWeb-Framework will support the same user experience to the different devices. We validates the framework by implementing the case studies through suggested mobile web development framework. As a result, we can develop the mobile web applications with productivity and quality. In the future, we will suggest how to make the MWeb-Framework standardization and practically apply the frameworks the various case studies to improve framework potentially problems.

  • 본 논문은 워크플로우 관리 시스템 중 Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC)의 명세서의 WfMC 참조 모델 중 인터페이스 3 에 해당하는 런타임 클라이언트와 워크플로우 엔진과의 상호작용에 기술하였다. 명세서를 통해서 발생되는 문제점을 검토 후 이에 대한 문제해결 방법으로 기존의 접근방법과 다르게 XML 기반의 응용프로그램 호출 메커니즘을 통해서 프로세스의 오버헤드를 줄이고 엔진과의 API 를 통하지 않고도 쉽게 응용프로그램 개발을 할 수 있게 했다. 또한 B2C/B2B로 대변되는 전자상거래 및 전자시장(E-Market Place)의 활성화가 급속하게 확장됨에 따라 개선된 응용프로그램의 호출방법으로 XML 기반 접근방법을 제시한다. 또한 워크플로우 관리 시스템에서 중요한 요소인 상호운용성에서도 이러한 XML 기반 응용프로그램 호출은 워크플로우 관리 시스템간 상호운용성에도 중대한 영향을 줄 수 있게 되는 것이다. 또한 인터넷이라는 환경을 위해 XML 을 사용하여 기존의 접근방법에서부터 많은 변화를 가져올 수 있는 것이다.

  • Recently, most corporations in Korea need to construct new management system for overcoming economic crisis. Firstly, this paper suggests “Value Creation system”. Secondly, this paper suggests CALS as strategic substitute to achieve market efficiency, capital efficiency, personal efficiency, and operation efficiency, which are four critical factors of “Value Creation system”. Korean corporations should build new business model founded on cooperation by completing CALS system and reconstruct competitive management system by using knowledge and know-how accumulated in that process. Because most corporations keep exclusive corporate culture and little experience of cooperative relationship among businesses, strategic approaches are essential for construction of CALS. These are vertical integration, organization of CALS construction teams, concurrent development of product/process, CEO's iron will, Precise vision and strategies, and education/training of participant.

  • 최근 전기 전력 도메인의 IT화 (전력 IT) 가 본격적으로 진행되면서 전기 데이터를 취득하기 위한 기기들 뿐만 아니라 전력 운영 환경이 변화를 도모하고 있다 본 논문에서는 이런 전력 IT 의 일환으로 개발된 지능형 전력 정보 모니터링 시스템 (K-WAMS)을 소개하고자 한다. 이 시스템은 이기종 분산 환경에서 전력 정보를 실시간으로 전송 받아 현재 전력계통의 상황을 직관적으로 판단할 수 있는 정보를 제공하여 광역 정전을 예방하고자 하는 조기경보시스템 (Early Warning System) 이다. 또한, 전력계통의 안정성 여부를 판단하는 지능형 에이전트의 구현을 통해 광역 정전을 예견하는 지수를 제공하고, 실시간 데이터 처리 및 이력 데이터 저장 에이전트들을 통해 현재 취득되고 있는 현장 데이터 모니터링 기능을 제공한다. K-WAMS 는 실시간으로 전송 처리되는 고속 대용량 데이터들의 처리 지연, 동적 환경으로 인한 네트워크의 부하문제를 해결하기 위해서 IPC Shared Memory 기법을 이용하였고, 동적 프로세스들의 작업 스케줄링을 관리하기 위한 IPC Message Queue 기법을 이용하였다. 또한 논리적 기능 기반으로 설계된 현재 중앙 급전소(GCC) 단위의 설계 모델은 향후 지역 급전소(RCC) 단위로 설치 될 경우 재사용 되어 개발 생산성을 향상시킬 것으로 예상된다.

  • The purpose of this study focuses on the development of the lightweight BIM shape format(LBSF) structure to present the large volume BIM geometry object based on GIS as the viewpoint of the building facility management. Recently, the BIM-based facility management with GIS is researching with the purpose of the urban facility management etc. To implement these use-cases, the BIM geometry objects can be visualized based on urban level with GIS effectively. To do this, the lightweight BIM shape format is designed with the considerations and the prototype for the pilot test is implemented. In the pilot test phase, after developing the IFC file and LBSF file about the model data of the three areas, the performance with the data volume, the screen loading time etc was compared.

  • Due to the classes in object-orientation, which are too detailed and specific, their reusability can be decreased. Components, considered to be more coarse-grained compared to objects, help maintain software complexity effectively and facilitate software reuse. Furthermore, component technology becomes essential by the appearance of the new frameworks, such as MDA, SOA, etc. Consequently, it is necessary to reengineer an existing object-oriented system into a component-based system suitable to those new environments. In this paper, we propose a model-based quantitative reengineering methodology to identify components from object-oriented systems. We expand system model and process, which are defined in our prior work, more formally and precisely. A system model, constructed from object-oriented system, is used to extract and refine components in quantitative ways. We develop a supporting tool and show effectiveness of the methodology through applying it to an existing object-oriented system.

  • Object-oriented software development methods are used to develop object-oriented software systems. Object-oriented systems are believed to habe better modularity, reusability, maintainability, and extensibility than systems modeled in conventional methods. Current object-oriented software development methods, however, are modeled in terms of procedural, functional, and structural models. There models cause problems such as tight coupling among activities, and uncontrolled access to global artifacts. In this paper, were introduce OMOS(Object-oriented software development Method for Object-oriented software System), an object-oriented modeling of object-oriented software development methods. Artifacts and their related activities are modeled as classes and objects. Development lifecycles are modeled as interactions among the objects. By modeling the software development method in an object-oriented way, OMOS achieves better reusability, flexibility, extensibility, and maintainability.

  • This paper presents new IT model, PIIS that integrates the safety control, construction, and operation managements in a conventional gas industry The systemic approach based on the PIIS model may reduce or increase the parameters as maximizing the safety, risk and crisis management, and increasing the cost-effective productivity The rapid synchronization and integration of the process using the PIIS model may produce more profits and satisfactions between customer and gas supplier. Thus, the PIIS model should quickly be introduced to gas industry at the beginning stage of engineering design and construction processes for maximizing production, effectiveness, and safety of the system from the exploration of a natural gas to a final consumption.

Comparative Study of Approximate Optimization Techniques in CAE-Based Structural Design (구조 최적설계를 위한 다양한 근사 최적화기법의 적용 및 비교에 관한 연구)

  • The comparative study of regression-model-based approximate optimization techniques used in the strength design of an automotive knuckle component that will be under bump and brake loading conditions is carried out. The design problem is formulated such that the cross-sectional sizing variables are determined by minimizing the weight of the knuckle component that is subjected to stresses, deformations, and vibration frequency constraints. The techniques used in the comparative study are sequential approximate optimization (SAO), sequential two-point diagonal quadratic approximate optimization (STDQAO), and approximate optimization based on enhanced moving least squares method (MLSM), such as CF (constraint feasible)-MLSM and Post-MLSM. Commercial process integration and design optimization (PIDO) tools are utilized for the application of SAO and STDQAO. The enhanced MLSM-based approximate optimization techniques are newly developed to ensure constraint feasibility. The results of the approximate optimization techniques are compared with those of actual non-approximate optimization to evaluate their numerical performances.
