The purpose of this study is to find out whether changed interactions due to reformatting has a significant effect on the play attribute of children's play from an instrumental point of view. Based on the study of Roser Caillois theory of play (Agon, Mimicry, Area, Ilinx) and previous studies, a questionnaire was written and experimental design was carried out through brick stack which are most preferred in the whole development of children. Brick stack were selected from physical and electronic spaces and the survey was conducted with children's experiences by dividing into experimental group and comparative group. Correlation and T-test results, the brick stack by reformating showed significant difference in the play attributes (Agon, Mimicry, Area, Ilinx) of Rose Caillois and we found that the effectiveness of play is doubled in the electronic space. Play properties evenly distributed in electronic space brick stacking suggest that pleasure and fun can double.

This study investigates the satisfaction of the culinary students during their studies in Rhode Island State (R1) in the United States. This research will prepare and give guidance to those who wish to study abroad. For this research, interviews and surveys were conducted and along with total of 68 copies of questionnaire were collected from to the Korean culinary students in the RI from Sep. 2007 to Mar. 2008. The analysis of the data was based on a Likert scale. Findings showed that most students chose to study abroad in their major felt satisfied with their school facilities. The research also indicated that where few challenges, such as language barrier and cultural differences. The inconveniences were with language problems and progress gradually into cultural challenges. In this respect, culinary students need to have more linguistic preparation and as well as to learn the importance of multiculturalism and globalization. Successful study abroad requires both personal and academic preparation. Teacher and parents should give supports and provide the fundamental skills that the students need to have a productive experience.

To find out the major factors affecting the pedestrian satisfaction, the quantitative evaluation on the walking environment were carried out using questionnaire with the 5-point Likert scale in the selected 6 community roads in Seoul. Data were analyzed using descriptive, correlation, and regression analysis. One of main findings reported that pedestrians are not satisfied yet with pedestrian environment(Mean=2.88, S.D.=1.12). The correlation analysis reported 'Safe to walk' (R=.640,p=.001), 'Feel like walking' (r=.603, p=.001), 'Enjoyable to walk'(R=.601,p=.001), and 'Adequate for walking & dialogue'(R=.586,p=.001), are top four factors that positively correlate with overall pedestrian satisfaction. Results indicate that safety should be considered in priorities but amenity development be thought to be important in pedestrian improvement projects. And a broad public participation in decision-making is needed for the effectiveness of the project.

최근 영재 및 영재교육에 관련된 연구가 다방면에서 진행되고 있으며, 초기에 수학 및 과학 분야 위주로 이루어졌던 영재교육은 정보, 발명, 인문, 예술 등의 기타 분야로 점차 확대되어 가고 있다. 사회적으로는 고도화된 정보화 사회로의 진행과 더불어 정보과학에서도 영재교육데 대한 관심과 중요성이 커지고 있다. 그러나 정보과학의 학문적 역사가 짧고 그 범위의 설정이 어려운 만큼 정보과학 분야의 영재교육에 있어서도 대상자의 선발과 교육이 어려운 것이 사실이다. 특히 영재교육 대상자의 선정과 교육에 필수적인 평가 방식에 대한 학문적 연구가 부족하여 교육 방식의 보완과 창의적인 대상자 선발에 있어 개선에 대한 목소리가 높다. 이에 본 연구에서는 여러 형태의 평가 방식 중 관찰평가가 평가도구로서 어떻게 작용하는지 다면 평가의 측면에서 지필평가와 보완적 작용을 하는지에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 2년간의 학습자들의 지필평가 성적과 관찰평가 중 리커트 척도 방식의 체크리스트와 서술형 관찰 기록지 사이의 상관관계를 통계적으로 분석 하였다. 또한 항목간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 체크리스트와 서술형 관찰기록지의 하위 항목간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 체크리스트의 하위항목 분석을 통해서는 태도와 문제해결 능력 간의 상관관계, 수학적인지영역과 문제해결 능력 간의 유의미한 상관 관계를 알 수 있었으며, 서술형 관찰 기록지 분석을 통해서는 투입 프로그램 적응 능력이라 할 수 있는 과정적 영역은 정의적 영역과 인지적 영역의 상관 관계가 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 평가 방식간의 상관 관계는 지필 평가와 관찰 평가의 유의미한 연관성이 없다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 즉, 정보과학 분야 영재교육 학습자의 잠재 능력이나 사회성, 창의성, 문제해결력 등을 평가하기 위해서는 지필평가와 더불어 관찰평가가 반드시 필요하며 다면평가의 측면에서 상호 보완적인 역할을 한다는 것이다.

This study aims to develop an instrument for measuring high school students' action competence on climate change (ACoCC). The instrument is defined as the construct comprised of seven factors and thirty-five items and takes approximately 15 minutes to fill out. A panel of experts and students' content validation were undertaken to modify the items. Five hundred and twenty-eight first and second graders in Korean high schools participated in the instrument survey. To assess the reliability and validity of ACoCC instrument, item analysis (mean, skewness, kurtosis, item-total correlation), internal consistency estimate, and confirmatory factor analysis were used. It was appropriate to use the 7-dimensional ACoCC instrument (knowledge about climate change, climate change sensibility, reflection, communication, integrated thinking, willingness, decision making), with 35 items for high school students. The following instrument was self-report given in the 5-point Likert scale (1=strongly disagree, 2=disagree, 3=neutral, 4=agree, 5=strongly agree). The internal consistency coefficient was shown as a whole was shown as 0.953, and the subscale's internal consistency coefficient ranged from 0.786 to 0.862.

In order to prevent and treat a patient's disease, the anatomical structure of the lesion through medical imaging is one of the important processes. However, there is a limit to the image displayed on the screen, so many studies are underway to overcome this by using 3D printing technology. To this end, this study implemented a three-dimensional cardiovascular model using actual patient image data, printed it out using a 3D printer, and conducted a usefulness test on current medical professionals. As a result of the usefulness evaluation, when the questionnaire conducted by a total of 5 people was converted to the Likert scale, the average value of all items showed a high result of 4.83 points, and the result of the cross-analysis was (P) = 10.000 (0.265), which was equally positive among all the questionnaires survey results were presented. Based on the results, it is expected that 3D printing technology will help advance medical technology.

This study is a study on the factors of preference for mobile game characters whose intellectual property rights (IP) influence is great. There have been many cases in which user-side research has been conducted on the character's preference factors. However, it is largely macro-divided. Detailed analytical studies are needed because details are overlooked. By classifying the elements of the character, the five-point scale of the recorder also obtains the data through the survey. Detailed factors were analyzed according to the results. Prior studies and results were compared and factors consistent with prior studies were analyzed. Because this study analyzed detailed factors, unlike previous studies of macro view. It is expected to help develop characters in the future.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction of service quality for seasonal visitors of Korea National Arboretum using Importance-performance analysis. Data were obtained from visitors of Korea National Arboretum on spring, summer, autumn. Results of analysis showed that all season visitor's satisfaction was high. The IPA was undertaken with total 24 variables about service quality of arboretum. Results of IPA was founded that summer visitors want to improve some services (information facilities, forest museum, conveniences, etc). Autumn visitors, on the other hand, thought that some services (kindness, active responsiveness, variety of plant, etc) are overinvested. As a results, there is differences between importance and satisfaction about seasonal service quality.

The urban regeneration project is an activity that promotes the economy in underdeveloped commercial or residential areas and maintains urban communities through improvement of living in residential areas. Through this study, various successful cases of urban regeneration at home and abroad and surveys related to urban regeneration in Bongsan Village, Yeongdo, Busan were collected and analyzed. Key keywords for each case were derived, grouped, and top keywords were created. The 13 top keywords were evaluated using Likert's 5-point scale, and AHP was conducted for the 10 keywords that were finally selected. As a result of AHP analysis, the preference for "spatial and physical properties" was derived in the order of "publicity", "sustainability", and "identity". The preference of "content and system properties" was derived in the order of "resident participation", "convenience", "locality", and "local government participation". It is necessary to present a role as a design guideline for establishing urban regeneration designs in relation to various urban regeneration projects that will become more active in the future through the analysis of preferences of urban regeneration keywords derived through this study.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) and modular construction are regarded as important technologies that could contribute to overcoming the crisis faced by the construction industry. However, BIM uptake in current modular construction projects is limited. Moreover, there are no specific guidelines to support decision-making regarding the application of BIM in modular construction projects. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the possibility for BIM uptake in each phase of modular construction projects in Korea. Initially, the literature detailing on BIM uptake cases in modular construction projects was reviewed. The detailed work and activities for each phase of a modular project were analyzed via a questionnaire targeting domestic modular experts, to derive items requiring improvement due to errors or changes occurring in the actual project. Ten realistic BIM uptake items were derived, reflecting the results of literature review and expert interviews. Then, the BIM uptake items in each phase were analyzed in terms of necessity and efficiency via a second questionnaire using five-point Likert scales. Finally, the BIM utilization index (BIM UI) of the BIM uptake items was suggested as a priority measure. As a result, the BIM UI of "3D coordination" (U2), "design authoring and reviews for off-site fabrication" (U3), and "detailed 3D modeling for off-site fabrication" (U4), were assigned the highest priority. The results of this study can be used as guidelines to support decision-making regarding the application of BIM in modular construction projects.
