An Implementation of Mobile Messenger Application for Kindergartens and Nurseries (영유아교육기관용 모바일 메신저 어플리케이션 구현)

  • Communication through smartphones is creating a new paradigm of mobile communication beyond the restrictions of mobility and space. The mobile instant messengers of the smartphone, which began on the desktop environment, are providing various communication features, including multimedia contents, texts, and voice. Kindergartens and nurseries are using Websites, phones, SMS, printed materials, handwritten notifications, etc. to communicate with the parents. IsPlus was developed to facilitate the communication between the parents and the teachers, including exchanges of pictures and videos, chatting, and attendance management using smartphones. This is meaningful in that it is an early smartphone mobile messenger for educational institutions for infants and preschoolers. This study presented a new approach to the development of a mobile messenger for a specific group of users by analyzing the user environment, communication types, application planning process and interface design development using storytelling.

  • The Chaos theory of complexity and Fractal theory which became a prominent figure as a new paradigm of natural science should be understood not as whole, and not into separate elements of nature. Fractal Dimensions are used to measure the complexity of objects. We now have ways of measuring things that were traditionally meaningless or impossible to measure. They are capable of describing many irregularly shaped objects including man and nature. It is compatible method of application to express complexity of nature in the dimension of non-fixed number by placing our point of view to lean toward non-linear, diverse, endless time, and complexity when we look at our world. Fractal Dimension allows us to measure the complexity of an object. Having a wide application of fractal geometry and Chaos theory to the art field is the territory of imagination where art and science encounter each other and yet there has not been much research in this area. The formative word has been extracted in this study by analyzing objective data to grasp formative principle and geometric characteristic of (this)distinct figures of Fractals. With this form of research, it is not so much about fractal in mathematics, but the concept of self-similarity and recursiveness, randomness, devices expressed from unspeakable space, and the formative similarity to graphic design are focused in this study. The fractal figures have characteristics in which the structure doesn't change the nature of things of the figure even in the process if repeated infinitely many times, the limit of the process produces is fractal. Almost all fractals are at least partially self-similar. This means that a part of the fractal is identical to the entire fractal itself even if there is an enlargement to infinitesimal. This means any part has all the information to recompose as whole. Based on this scene, the research is intended to examine possibility of analysis of fractals in geometric characteristics in plasticity toward forms in graphic design. As a result, a beautiful proportion appears in graphic design with calculation of mathematic. It should be an appropriate equation to express nature since the fractal dimension allows us to measure the complexity of an object and the Fractla geometry should pick out high addition in value of peculiarity and characteristics in the complex of art and science. At the stage where the necessity of accepting this demand and adapting ourselves to the change is gathering strength is very significant in this research.

Classification and Developmental Direction of Domestic Internet Advertising (국내 인터넷 광고의 유형과 발전방향에 대한 고찰)

  • Currently while a phase of the Internet as an advertising media is firm, and Internet advertisement utilization of a company rises, and the consumers contact with various Internet advertisements. A lot of Internet advertisements of various forms made with new technology to develop rapidly are executed and will disappear again. Now, It is necessary to classify various types of the Internal advertisement which was made by a sharp environment change, and was tested of the last ten years and to classify expression techniques systematically. At the same time, we have to check a development direction of domestic Internet advertisement and trend. It is a point of time that Internet advertisement must be designed in a macroscopic dimension like the four medium advertisement by an advertisement strategy and an expression strategy. In this paper, first I classified a type of domestic Internet advertising into marketing, an advertisement purpose, an expression form, manufacture technology, and an express on method systematically in five sides so far And I tried to consider the form and characteristics. By next time, while examine change of internet marketing paradigm, I checked trend of recently domestic Internet advertising in accord to a change of consumer's use tendency and a change of Internet advertisement manufacture technology, and tried to consider the development course in the marketing side, the manufacture technical side, and the creative side. Finally, I wish to propose necessity of expression strategy establishment to promote development of the interactive advertisement technique that considered the creative side in order to raise an effect of Internet advertisement.

  • Along with the advent of the digital era, the media environment in which an informant would convey information one-sidedly has evolved more towards engaging customers to actively participate and produce contents themselves. This change in content consumption behavior has brought about the new marketing paradigm. The new communication strategy is interactive marketing, which enhances brand-imprinting Effects, and has been consistently proposed these days. This study aims to examine these brand-imprinting effects through an empirical study and to propose an application plan. Therefore, methods of approach for engaging customers' participation and the methods of experiences are categorized by types through the case analysis of various domestic as well as international interactive marketing techniques. In addition, in-depth interviews have been carried out in order to verify the influence of interactive marketing on brand-imprinting effects. Through the interview, potential needs of customers were found. Based on the findings, marketing strategies that utilize interactive media installation for brand-imprinting effects have been constructed. First, to utilize a space for a medium of communication between customers and advertising media. Second, using storytelling as a construct that focuses on the individual's situation. Third, to design interactions that are proper to the situation and context.

Integrated Authentication and Key Management Method among Heterogeneous Wireless Mobile Networks (이기종 무선 이동망간 통합 인증 및 키관리 기법)

  • The new communication paradigm is rapidly shifted from wireless mobile networks to an All-IP(Internet Protocol) network, led by service industry leaders and communication manufacturers. In this paradigm, providing authentication and session keys of a subscriber becomes one of the critical tasks because of IP open accessibility among heterogeneous networks. In this paper, we introduce authentication process procedure of heterogeneous wireless mobile networks and develop so-called IMAS(Integrated Mobile Authentication Server) which can securely inter-work among all mobile networks and support the legacy networks with backward compatibility. Especially, in designing IMAS, mobile authentication inter-working mechanism, key management technique, and other issues to be overcome are presented. We analyze and evaluate the performance of authentication algorithm which creates session key. A simulation environment of IMAS is established, and a performance(TPS; Transaction Per Second) result is analyzed and evaluated. It turned out that IMAS works among heterogeneous wireless mobile networks without compensating efficiency and functionalities of the legacy networks and decrease the entropy of data redundancy and data inconsistency among networks because of the integrity of the distributed Data Base(DB).

  • The problem of library space has long been discussed in various aspects such as library relations, architecture, and space design. The purpose of this study is to examine the change of the concept of the complex space of the library according to the development of advanced technology and the social paradigm, and to present the direction of constructing the complex space of the future library by analyzing each case. All concepts such as mediatheque, information commons, larchiveum, and the maker space that is recently introduced into the library are important elements of the complex space presented as a problem of library construction and space. The future library reflects these concepts and serves as a mediator between information and users, users and users, users and media to support reading, information, learning, rest, community-oriented culture and creation, start-up and collaboration. It should be constructed as a multi-space platform to create new value through.

A Study on the Convergence Relativity of the Combining Curved Forms of Tall Buildings (초고층빌딩의 비정형 곡면형태 조합 및 복합관계에 관한 연구)

  • Globally, more super-tall buildings tend to be constructed competitively in the social and economic foundations. In the circumstance, this study is aimed at establishing a paradigm of super-tall buildings in terms of their various forms. Symbolizing a city or state, super-tall buildings not only are used as resources of tourism, but play an important role as a characteristic landmark. Therefore, it is necessary to find a curved form for a futuristic perspective. The purpose of this study is to infer the convergence relativity of curved forms among complex and diverse unstructured construction forms. This study used as subjects 50 super-tall buildings among the ranking data selected Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in order for the basis of constructability related to actual design, rather than the way of recognizing a formative type, in the classification of curved forms into regularized surfaces, developable surfaces, and double-curved surfaces. The results of this study are presented as follows. This classification can be used as a fundamental material which is reasonably involved in the design process pursuing diverse curved surfaces in terms of design of tall buildings.

A Study on works converging Found objects: Focusing on how to mix the media (파운드 오브제(Found object)를 융복합한 작품연구: 매체의 활용방식을 중심으로)

  • Ready-made products produced in the industrialized consumer society after the 20th century have been adopted by artists as a new material called "Found object," and are reinterpreted in a broad sense in their works. The method of giving new meaning using this creates a new paradigm that is expanded conceptually as well as expression style. After Pablo Picasso's in 1912, when the Found object was used for the first time in contemporary art, we examine the development of objects through Dadaism, Surrealism, and Pop Art, and the expression of Found objects in the late 20th century. In this study, the artists and their work are analyzed by dividing it into three types: 'Unprocessed objects', 'Transformed objects', and 'Tenant objects', depending on how the Found object is mixed in works. Through this study, I pay attention to the fact that a work incorporating a Found object not only develops the object materially, but also allows the practice of free concept art to escape from the traditional norms of art.

  • Recently, the paradigm of the aircraft industry, not only domestically but also globally, has been changing significantly starting with the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the convergence of new technologies such as ICT and AI, the drone market, centered around the military, is expanding its overall services to include the civilian market. Additionally, drones operate by being equipped with batteries, and for product lines that use batteries, lightening the product is one of the critical factors. This is because the lighter the aircraft, the less battery consumption and maximum efficiency. Therefore, recently, composite materials have been used to reduce the weight of the aircraft. To not only reduce weight but also achieve high functionality, it is being applied to most areas such as propellers, airframes, interior materials, floor plates, driving devices, and battery housings, and is emerging as a core technology. In this paper will utilize ceramic fiber composite materials, which have recently emerged for lightweight. It aims to improve noise and strength by targeting propellers, one of the most important factors in drones. In addition, the performance of the propeller developed through the low-noise design will be verified.

Observation of brand Characters of 'Blessing Pattern' used in ancestral household utensils in Korea (한국 전통 생활 용품에 나타난 '구복문양'의 브랜드 특성에 관한 고찰)

  • The emotion and culture of an age are reflected through several mediums. The special quality and generality are discovered through household utensils used in everyday life specially. This paper was intended as proceeding study for brand development with national empathic relationship. In this article, we were here concerned with symbolism and features for stories of traditional pattern on ancestral common household utensils, and considered about development possibility by brand of tradition pattern. As analysis for symbolism of traditional pattern, re-sorting and classifying pattern, meaning, symbol and stories of pattern based on 'Blessing notion' were set. It was found from the analysis that meaning and symbol of traditional pattern were set up and stories for them were excerpted. This study defines tradition pattern classified based on 'Blessing notion' as '8 Blessing pattern', and investigated development possibility and derivative value of it. We discovered through this study that 'Blessing patterns' function as communicator, have 4 abilities in sympathy with brand paradigm, and have 6 elements of brand identity. Furthermore, 'Blessing Patierns' have some derivative functions; cognitive intension, expression, loyalty, differentiation and symbol. This research will become basis of study for brand development having 'Empathic relationship' and foundation of 'Blessing brand' that is available to be umbrella and super brand. A further direction of this study will be to make 'Blessing brand series' and to create culture of it. We hope Korean brand market goes a step further through our studies
