Mathematics Teachers' Conceptions of Proof and Proof-Instruction (수학 교사의 증명과 증명 지도에 대한 인식 - 대학원에 재학 중인 교사를 중심으로 -)

  • This study is intended to examine 36 in-service secondary school mathematics teachers' conceptions of proof in the context of mathematics and mathematics education. The results suggest that almost teachers recognize the role as justification well but have the insufficient conceptions about another various roles of proof in mathematics. The results further suggest that many of teachers have vague concept-images in relation with the requirement of proof and recognize the insufficiency about the actual teaching of proof. Based on the results, implications for revision of mathematics curriculum and mathematics teacher education are discussed.

  • 지금까지 HCI분야의 많은 연구들은 사용성 (Usability)을 중요한 연구 주제로 인식하여 왔다. 그러나 연구의 범위를 사용성에 한정하는 것은 HCI 분야의 잠재성을 좁히고, 사용자 경험 (User Experience)의 개념도 좁은 범위로 한정시키게 된다. 따라서 향후 HCI 분야의 연구는 정보 기술의 사용성 측면의 뿐만 아니라, 정보 기술의 사용을 통한 다양한 사용자 경험을 구조적인 관점에서 살펴보아야 한다. 즉 사용성 중심의 연구가 아닌, 보다 전반적이고 구조적인 측면에서 사용자 경험을 살펴보는 새로운 방향의 HCI 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 이와 같이 사용자 경험을 보다 전반적이고 구조적인 측정에서 이해하기 위해서는 사용자가 특정 정보 기술의 사용을 통해 추구하는 가치 (Value)와 그와 같은 가치를 실현 시킬 수 있는 정보 기술의 속성 (Attribute) 및 결과 (Consequence), 그리고 속성, 결과, 가치 간 연관 관계를 구조적인 측면에서 살펴보아야 한다. 본 연구는 사용자 가치에 대한 대표적인 이론인 Means-End Chain Theory와 속성, 결과, 가치 간 연관 관계를 파악하기 위한 정성적 연구 방법론인 Laddering 기법을 기반으로 사용자 경험 구조 파악 및 가치 중심적 HCI (Value-Centered HCI)를 위한 새로운 연구 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 새롭게 제안된 방법론을 통해 모바일 인터넷 서비스에 대한 사용자 경험 구조를 도출하고, 모바일 인터넷 상황에서 도출된 결과 및 본 연구에서 새롭게 제안된 방법론의 이론적이고 실용적인 의의를 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on the Subjectivity with Curriculum in Food·Cooking Area Based on NCS -Focusing on Graduates of Hotel Cooking Department in Incheon Region- (NCS기반 음식·조리분야 교육과정의 주관적 인식에 관한 연구 -인천지역 호텔조리학과 졸업생을 중심으로-)

  • This study analyzed the influence relations of the subjectivity of satisfaction with curriculum in food cooking area based on NCS by applying Q methodology, targeting graduates of hotel cooking department in college. This paper largely suggests two research questions like following. Research Question 1: What are the acceptance types of satisfaction with curriculum in food cooking area based on NCS? Research Question 2: What are the homogeneous characteristics and implications of each type? In the results of typological analysis based on such research questions, total four types were drawn like following: Type1(N=7): Basic Practical Classes Pursuit-type, Type2(N=5): Domestic Employment Preference-type, Type3(N=5): Famous Chef Inviting Class Pursuit-type, and Type4(N=3): Tailor-Made Lessons Pursuit-type. Each type showed its own distinctive characteristics. In this study, the graduates' perception in a specific cooking department would be used as a basis for follow-up researches. In the future, it would be necessary to have researches to establish the customized-curriculum system such as planning/operating student-centered teaching/learning guidelines and also conducting mentoring programs. Also, it is expected to have continuous follow-up researches to complement the limitations of this study.

A Study on the Lifestyle and Coffee Consumption Motivation (라이프스타일과 커피소비동기에 관한 연구)

  • In Korea recently the consumption of coffee has been drastically increased and majority of people who are more than $20^{th}$ are drinking more than a cup of coffee every day. Nowadays coffee a kind of essential items in modern urban society. As the popularity of the coffee is increasing, As the coffee consumption is growing, the studies on coffee also have been increased. Many of the studies on coffee were focused on the consumer attitudes, coffee shops and franchise coffee shops, and coffee components or ingredients. As the products of the coffee are becoming diverse, the consumers of coffee also becoming diverse. There was a study showing that coffee has variety of types, and that motivations and attitudes for coffee consumption are different depend on demographic statistics such as age and life styles. On this study main focus was life style and consumer's motivation on coffee consumption. For this study the survey was conducted on the people living in Seoul City and Kyengkido from March 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013. 600 questionnaires were distributed and 480 were collected and 470 were used for analysis of this study. The statistics program used in this study was SPSS. The method used in the analysis wee factors analysis test, reliability test, validity test, t-testy, One-Way ANOVA, and regression analysis. In this study according to the factor analysis, the life styles were classified the following six categories ; wellbeing pursuit, taste pursuit, atmosphere pursuit, dine-out pursuit, instant pursuit, and economic value pursuit. The factors of coffee consumption motivation were 6; wellbeing consumption motivation, changing mood consumption motivation, social consumption motivation, habitual consumption motivation, and emotional consumption motivation. The demographic factors used in this study were age, marital status, occupation, educational background, residence, income, and eating-out expenses. The hypothesis used in this study were two. The first hypo-thesis was whether the coffee consumption was affected by the life styles. The second hypo-thesis was whether there was any statistical differences on the motivation of coffee consumption according to the characteristics of life style. The outcome of this study demonstrated that life styles had partial impact on coffee consumption motivations. According to the characteristics of the life style, except for the habitual consumption motivation, all the other factors showed statistical differences on coffee consumption motivations according the characteristics of life styles.

  • For a social venture in early stage, it is very difficult to set up a strategy as it has to pursue two contradictory goals; economic value and social value. The platform strategy can be good alternative solution for social ventures as it seeks building-up connections with other businesses to co-create value despite of limited resources. A Korean social venture, JUMP! which adopted platform strategy in the early stage, and successfully applied 4 key factors of platform strategy; core competency, value creation ability, efficiency and network effect, has been able to develop sustainable growth for itself and induce innovation and growth among the participants within the platform. This study was intended to research effect of adoption and successful application of platform strategy for social ventures in the early stage of start-up and draw conclusion through case study that platform strategy works for sustainable growth of social ventures.

  • Due to a lack of research regarding disruptive technologies in domestic research, the purpose of this study is to aid in the understanding of disruptive technologies through empirical analysis of cases selected in the computer data storage industry. Analysis results have shown that SSDs, which threaten the existence of HDDs, adhere to the conditions of being a disruptive technology as first presented by Christensen(1992). SSDs are not only technologically superior to HDDs but can be mass produced due to its applicability in a vast array of product categories made possible by their miniaturization, weight reduction, and safety. This diversity of applicable fields makes it possible for mass production leading to further decrease in the unit price ultimately continuing the diffusion of this technology. By presenting empirical cases to aid in the understanding of disruptive technology, it is determined that the findings of this study contribute greatly to both academia and the business world.

A Study on the Recognition of the Traditional Market Food (대학생들의 전통시장 먹거리 인식에 대한 주관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the Q - method, which is one of the qualitative analysis methods to approach deep and intrinsic meaning about the perception of college students about food in traditional market. Recently, local governments have been developing diverse tourism products aimed at young people in order to revitalize traditional markets. In this study, we classify the perception of food in traditional market by university students, And to suggest strategic implications by using it as basic data for establishing marketing strategy so that young people can visit in the futures. In order to analyze the perception of college students' subjective perception of traditional market food, Factor analysis was used to conduct an exploratory study. To do this, a Q-sort, Program, and Q factor analysis. The results were classified into three types. The first type (N = 21): Memories seeking type, the second type (N = 6): Local culture resource seeking type, the third type(N = 5). Each of these subjective perceptions can be used as a basis for future research. Through the establishment of marketing strategies for each of the three types of classifications, the direction of traditional markets is presented, and a variety of food items that are valuable as local tourism resources are accommodated by accepting university students' to contribute to the revitalization of traditional markets.

  • 텍스타일의 발전에 있어서 진보적 기술혁신은 합성섬유의 잠재력을 높이는데 큰 촉매 역할을 해왔는데 그 중 가장 두드러지게 성공적인 분야는 바로 스트레치 직물 분야이다. 스트레치는 그자체의 다양한 종류와 변화무쌍한 특성과 함께 스포츠 웨어, 캐주얼웨어 뿐 아니라 최근에는 정장류 남성복에 이르기 까지 그 사용범위와 미적 표현이 크게 증가되고 다양해졌다. 스트레치의 미는 기능적이고 편안하면서도 직물자체의 유동적인 특성과 함께 인체와 더불어 표출되는시각적 이미지가 현대미에 새로운 개념을 더하고있다는 데에 그 가치가 있다. 본 연구목적은 현대 패션디자인에 표현되어진 스트레치의 미적 개념과 가치가 무엇인가를 발견하는데 있다. 특히 섬유과학기술의 진보로 인한 스트레치 직물의 다양함과 그에대한 디자이너들의 패션철학과 디자인의 다양한 변화를 강조하고 나아가 다음세기를 위한 보다 나은 디자인의 방향을 제시해 보고자한다. 연구결과는 다음과같다. 1, 스트레치의 가장 두드러지는 현대적 미는 편안함과 기능성에 있다. 특히 스트레치 직물 자체가 더욱 가벼워지고 강해지면서 현대생활과 미래생활에서 가장 크게 중시되고 있는 comfortable & functional 의 이상적인 개념을 충적시켜 주고 있다. 2. 스트레치 직물의 유동적특징에서 대표적으로 나타난 스타일은 바디스트인데 이것은 스트레치 자체의 신축성이 기본적으로 인체곡선 위에서 표현되어진 것으로서 거의 비슷한 스타일의 uniformity 현상을 낳게 되었고 또한 인체선의 드러남으로 인해 'healthy'이미지 추구라는 현대미의 새로운 개념을 가져왔다. 2. 더욱 정교해진 스트레치는 결국 transparent look을 낳았고 또한 비치는 직물들을 겹쳐입는 layering 현상을 가져왔는데 이것은 현대적 순수미와 여성미가 시감각적 이미지로 표현되어진 것이라 할수 있다. 4. 스트레치가 되므로서 생기는 긴장은 다른 디자인 요소들에 대해서는 극히 단순한 것을 요구하면서 결국 simplicity를 동반하게 되었다. 5. 스트레치는 디자인 구성 요소들의 보다 작은 개념을 낳았는데 즉 더욱 좁아진 형과 작아진 사이즈 없어지거나 줄어든 다트와 구성선 그리고 그에따라 줄어든 공정과 낮아진 가격이다. 이 개념은 현대미의 minimalism의 한 현상으로 해석되어지며 스트레치 직물은 여기에 가장 부합되는 소재가 되었다. 6. 스트레치의 시각적 이미지는 그자체가 'easy' 'free'느낌과 함께 보편적이면서 미래적이다. 이상으로 볼 때 미래의 패션은 보다 진보적인 섬유과학발전에 힘입어 21세기의 새로운 환경에 잘 적응 할 수 있는 합리적이면서도 미적 가치가 내포된 인간에게 보다 친숙한 디자인으로 전개되리라고 생각되어진다.

  • Recently, building is rapidly develop more intelligently because of the development of industries. And people seek such as comfort, efficiency, and convenience in office environment and the living environment. Also, people were able to use a variety of devices. Smart TV and smart phones were distributed widely so interaction between devices and human has been increase the interest. A various method study for interaction but there are some discomfort and limitations using controller for interaction. In this paper, a user could be easily interaction and control LED through using Kinect and gesture(hand gestures) without controller. we designed interface which is control LED using the joint information of gesture obtained from Kinect. A user could be individually controlled LED through gestures (hand movements) using the implementation of the interface. We expected developed interface would be useful in LED control and various fields.

  • In Korea, Public demand for quality of life is increasing gradually with socioeconomic growth. It is really necessary urban forestry because urban forest is one of the important factors in citizen's living environment. There is expected to participate government, citizen, NGOs and the corporate sector in urban forestry. This study was investigated the directions of environmental governance in urban forestry focused local government. As a result, urban forestry official recognized the importance of urban forestry by partnership. In order to manage urban forest efficiently, the committee must be comprised of various stakeholder and researcher have need to develop support system for management. Especially, it shows that they prefer corporations participate to create and manage urban forest.
