Analytic study on Rhizome by Gilles Deleuze : Focusing on the Film (들뢰즈의 리좀 모델 분석 : 영화 <엘리펀트>를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and illustrate 'Rhizome', a postmodern speculation system based on de-subjectivity and decentralization, presented by Gilles Deleuze. He borrowed the word rhizome, an originally botanical term meaning a horizontal stem under the surface of the earth, to counteract the dominating system grounded on binary, root-tree structure. The study then criticizes the early movements of de-subjectivity with molecular-biological and evolutionary evidences, and proves that these evidences can only be characterized by chance and nomadism, which are the key elements that constitute Rhizome. As a practical example of Rhizome, the study analyzes the film by Gus Van Sant, and demonstrates that both his various cinematic experiments and the result bear the same characteristics as Rhizome.

Studies on North Korean Documentary Films: Structures as to How Meanings of Film Literature are Made (북한 기록영화 연구: 영화문헌의 의미생성 구조)

  • This paper intends to examine how North Korea has incited and persuaded its people by figuring out the structure regarding the meaning creation of its documentary film "Kim Jong-un, the Respected Comrade Supreme Commander, Giving On-site Guidance on the Grand Project of the People's Army" produced in 2015, which was North Korea's politically important year. The analysis results show that its narrative structure of the film took the form of an introduction, body, and conclusion to substantiate it obviously given theme. Its imaging techniques are geared towards uplifting the public's combat mentality and its sound contributes to achieving their adherence. In this regard, its film literature has the following meaning structure: first, the film takes the form of both film annals and the structure for the public to easily comprehend; second, the film clearly demonstrates its deep-rooted theme asking for the public to follow in the footsteps of the party's late father for its leadership; and third, the film also aims to establish the images of an always awake working leader by implanting and arranging the leader's diligence about his revolutionary activities in the documentary film. North Korea's documentary films serve as a weapon used for instigating revolution and construction. Given this, the producers of all documentary films have made sure to turn film literatures into the film literatures of the great leader. It was identified that under the social vision that the Kim Jong-un regime is a "socialist civilized country", he has tightened his grip on power in North Korea through the propaganda tool of film literatures.

On correlation and causality in the analysis of big data (빅 데이터 분석에서 상관성과 인과성)

  • Mayer-Schönberger and Cukier(2013) explain why big data is important for our life, while showing many cases in which analysis of big data has great significance for our life and raising intriguing issues on the analysis of big data. The two authors claim that correlation is in many ways practically far more efficient and versatile in the analysis of big data than causality. Moreover, they claim that causality could be abandoned since analysis and prediction founded on correlation must prevail. I critically examine the two authors' accounts of causality and correlation. First, I criticize that corelation is sufficient for our analysis of data and our prediction founded on the analysis. I point out their misunderstanding of the distinction between correlation and causality. I show that spurious correlation misleads our decision while analyzing Simpson paradox. Second, I criticize not only that causality is more inefficient in the analysis of big data than correlation, but also that there is no mathematical theory for causality. I introduce the mathematical theories of causality founded on structural equation theory, and show that causality has great significance for the analysis of big data.

  • 방송 통신 융합 환경의 도래는 뉴미디어 산업 발전의 기회이며 동시에 저작권의 위기이다. 반면 저작권은 오랜 기간 논의된 문제였음에도, 제도적으로 기술적으로 해결되지 못한 미완의 숙제로 남아있다. 이 글은 저작권 보호와 공정 사용이 문화발전이라는 공동의 목적을 가지고 있음을 논증하고 융합 환경에 대한 구조 분석을 시도한다. 이를 통해 저작권 보호 기술이 가지는 한계와 제약을 검토한다. 또한 OWL로 표현된 관계 기반의 저작물 추적 및 통제 기술을 새롭게 제안한다. 특히 접근 통제 기술인 DRM을 시맨틱하게 설계할 수 있는 저작권 보호 기술의 속성과 특성에 대한 분석을 소개함으로 향후 디지털 콘텐츠 관리 및 응용 기술 구현에 도움을 주고자한다.

  • 본 논문은 비선형 goal programming을 이용하여 구조 최적화 문제들의 해를 얻는 방법을 제시한 다. 이 방법은 다기준 최적화의 도구로 사용되는데 그 까닭은 goal programming이 목적함수와 제한조건 등을 정의하는데 있어서 발생하는 난점들을 제거해 주며, 또한 설계목적의 우선 순위를 다루는 능력을 갖추고 있기 때문이다. 비선형 goal programming에 대한 구조 최적화의 모델이 제시된다. Hooke-Jeeves의 pattern 탐색, 수정된 Hooke-Jeeves의 Pattern 탐색, 그리고 Powell의 공액방향 탐색방향을 이용한 세 가지의 비선형 goal programming 들이 개발되고 토의된다. 설계 도구로서 이 방법의 유효성을 논증하기 위하여 사례의 해를 모색하며 이를 다른 연구결과와 비교 검토한다.

The Effectiveness of Science Gifted Students' Self-directed and Cooperative Learning for Decision-Making about Global Warming Issues (중학교 과학 우수아의 자기주도적 협동학습을 강조한 지구온난화 관련 의사결정 학습의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate effective teaching and learning method for teaching decision-making on Socio-Scientific-Issues(SSI) in science classroom. So we carried out new teaching and learning trial for decision-making about Global Warming issues. Our new trial focused on self-directed and cooperative learning in decision-making about SSI. And our participants were science gifted or science high-achieved students in middle school. We analysed students' written decision-making of the last process in our new trial. We can find our instruction made progress in informed decision-making, structure of argumentation, reflective thinking stage, using the scientific information and understanding of the nature of science. As a result, self-directed and cooperative learning in decision-making on SSI leads students to the meaningful decision-making scientifically.

  • If 1st order ZFC is consistent(has a model($M_1$)) it has a transitive denumerable model($M_2$). This leads to a paradoxical situation called 'Skolem paradox'. This can be easily resolved by Skolem's typical resolution. but In the process, we must accept the model theoretic relativity for the concept of set. This relativity can generate a situation where the meaning of the set concept, for example, is given differently depending on the two models. The problem is next. because the sentence '¬denu(PN)' which indicate that PN is not denumerable is equally true in two models, A indistinguishability problem that the concept <¬denu> is not formally indistinguishable in ZFC arise. First, I will give a detail analysis of what the nature of this problem is. And I will provide three ways of responding to this problem from the standpoint of supporting ZFC. First, I will argue that <¬denu> concept, which can be relative to the different models, can be 'almost' distinguished in ZFC by using the formalization of model theory in ZFC. Second, I will show that <¬denu> can change its meaning intrinsically or naturally, by its contextual dependency from the semantic considerations about quantifier that plays a key role in the relativity of <¬denu>. Thus, I will show the model-relative meaning change of <¬denu> concept is a natural phenomenon external to the language, not a matter of responsible for ZFC.

Das Problem des Selbstbewußtseins Zwischen Vernunft und Existenz: Im Zentrum auf die Transformationen von Kants Selbstbewußtseinstheorie in Heideggers Analytik vom Dasein, Apels Lehre von diskursiver Vernunft, und Ebelings Lehre von Widerstandsbewußtsein (이성과 실존 사이에서 자기의식의 문제: 하이데거의 현존재 분석론, 아펠의 담론적 이성 이론, 그리고 에벨링의 저항의식 이론에서칸트의 자기의식 이론에 대한 변형들을 중심으로)

  • Subjekt oder $Selbstbewu{\ss}tsein$ ist ein grundlegendes Prinzip neuzeitlicher Philosophie. Das $Selbstbewu{\ss}tsein$ ist bei Kant $Selbstbewu{\ss}tsein$(analytische Einheit der Apperzeption als klare Selbstbeziehung) in Objekts $bewu{\ss}tsein$(synthetischer Einheit der Apperzeptuion). Dabei zeigt er ein Reflexionsmodell des $Selbstbewu{\ss}tseins$. Aber er $erkl{\ddot{a}}rt$ nicht systematisch ein $Verh{\ddot{a}}ltnis$ zwischen synthetischer Einheit und analytischer Einheit der Apperzeption, und auch $l{\ddot{o}}st$ er nicht theorienimmanente und formale Schwierigkeiten von Zirkelargument bzw. unendlicher Iteration in der Reflxionsstruktur des $Selbstbewu{\ss}tseins$. Aufgrund der Voraussetzungen seiner eigenen Fundamentalontologie kritisiert der $fr{\ddot{u}}he$ Heidegger, $da{\ss}$ Kants $traditionsabh{\ddot{a}}ngige$ $Subjektivit{\ddot{a}}tstheorie$ Symptome der Seins vergessenheit zeigt, transformiert Kants $Selbstbewu{\ss}tseinstheorie$, interpretiert Kants transformierte Theorie als $subjektivit{\ddot{a}}tstheoretische$ $Begr{\ddot{u}}ndung$ der traditionellen Ontologie von Vorhandenheit, und versteht sie als ersten Schritt und erstes phlosophisches Modell seiner Fundamentalontologie. In der transzendentalpragmatischen Sicht, die auf den sprachlichen Bezug des Denkens und Erkennens und die Kommunikationsgemeinschaft geht, beruht das $Selbstbewu{\ss}tsein$ oder die Reflexion des Subjekts wesentlich auf seinem sprachlich vermittelten sozialen Bezug. Also geht es nicht um Zirkelargument und unendliche Iteration in denkender Selbstbeziehung des Subjekts. Ebeling hebt Heideggers Daseinsanalytik auf das Niveau von Apels Transzendentalpragmatik an und entwickelt Fundamatalpragmatik ${\ddot{u}}ber$ $Widerstandsbewu{\ss}tsein$ gegen allgemeinen Tod. Dieser $Widerstandsbewu{\ss}tsein$ ist fundamentalpragmatische Transformation von Kants $Selbstbewu{\ss}tsein$. Der $Widerstandsbewu{\ss}tsein$ der Vernunft bleibt in der solipsistischen Dimension nicht und ist ein $Bewu{\ss}tsein$, das in der Widerstandsgemeinschaft durch Argumentation universalisiert werden kann. Hierbei geht es nicht um Zirkelargument und unendliche Iteration.

수학적 플라톤주의와 수의 비고유성 문제

  • 베나세라프의 수의 비고유성 논증은 플라톤주의에 대한 강력한 반박들 중의 하나다. 이에 대한 플라톤주의 진영에서의 대응은 현재까지 네 가지 정도가 있었다. 라이트와 헤일로 대표되는 신프레게주의, 샤피로의 ante rem 구조주의, 밸러거의 혈기왕성한 플라톤주의, 그리고 잴타의 원리화된 플라톤주의에서의 대응들이 그것들이다. 이 네 가지 대응들 중 잴타의 원리화된 플라톤주의는 진정한 플라톤주의로 간주되기 매우 힘들며, 신프레게주의는 수의 비고유성 문제해결에 심각한 어려움을 갖고 있다. 한편 수의 비고유성 문제를 어느 정도 극복하고 있는 듯이 보이는 샤피로와 밸러거의 견해들 중, 밸러거의 견해는 인식과 지칭의 문제와 관련하여 심각한 난관에 봉착해 있다. 따라서 현재까지 제시된 이론의 상태에서는 샤피로의 견해가 수의 비고유성 문제를 인식의 문제와 함께 가장 잘 해결하고 있는 것으로 평가될 수 있다.

Kongzi's 'the Rectification of Name(正命)' and Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name(非常名)' - Laotzu's Tao and Saussure's Linguistics: an exact meeting - (공자의 '정명(正名)'과 노자의 '비상명(非常名)' - 노자의 도와 소쉬르의 언어학: 제대로 된 만남 -)

  • This article is designed to help ensure that "Laotzu's Tao and Saussure's Linguisticse's Linguistics" can meet properly. To carry out this project, I asked how to understand Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name(非常名)'. Comparing Kongzi's 'the Rectification of name(正命)' with Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name', The meaning of the two concepts becomes clear. Kongzi's 'the Rectification of name' is political philosophy to restore etiquette through language order. In comparison, Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name' refers to Randomness[arbitraire] of the symbol. It shows that the order of languages can be dismantled, and that the structure, norms, and etiquette of society, which are established by language order, can be dismantled. Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name' is a logic that defies language as an institution, as a symbolism, and as a logic of disintegration. To illustrate this point, Searsure's Linguistics was brought in for discussion. In Saussure's Linguistics, the arbitrary nature of the symbol is the same as the Lotzu's 'Not the eternal Name'. Three arguments were used to elucidate the logic of the resistance and the logic of Deconstruct of the Language structure. First, I explained that the discussion of 'Name' was not just about 'the name of an object' but about the system, laws and norms of a society. Second, I explained the argument that language order is a social institution and a social structure by taking the words Saussure and Lacon. Third, I explained that 'not the eternal Name' is an important term that reveals the arbitrary and arbitrary relationship between the signifiant and the signifie. These arguments explain that Laotzu's 'not the eternal Name' is the logic of dismantling the language as a system and as the symbolic.
