The Relationship between Workplace Bullying Victimization and Displaced Aggression: The Mediating Effects of Perceived Organizational Injustice and State Anger (20, 30대의 직장 내 괴롭힘 피해경험과 전위된 공격성 간의 관계: 지각된 조직불공정성과 상태분노의 이중매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between workplace bullying victimization and displaced aggression, along with the mediating effects of perceived organizational injustice and state anger. Self-reported data of 268 employees were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and Process macro. When applying the standard suggested by Leymann(1996), which defines workplace bullying victims as those who experience at least one negative act, on a weekly basis, for more than 6 months, the bullying victimization prevalence rate was 77.2%. Furthermore, although workplace bullying victimization did not directly predict displaced aggression, it significantly predicted perceived organizational injustice and state anger. Both mediators significantly predicted displaced aggression. The mediating effect of bullying victimization on displaced aggression through perceived organizational injustice and state anger subsequently was also significant. This study has its significance in that it thoroughly investigated the current state of workplace bullying victimization among people in their 20s and 30s, and helps better understand the relationship between workplace bullying victimization and displaced aggression.

Exploring Fractional Ownership in Korean Art Market: Based on Business Model Canvas (분할소유 미술시장의 현황과 과제 - 비즈니스 모델 캔버스를 중심으로 -)

  • Not only the consumption trend after the COVID-19 pandemic but also low financial interest rates have stimulated people to invest artworks. With the recent noticeable growth, art investments that mainly conducted by younger generation through online platform can be characterized by a fractional ownership in art market which means several people share one piece of artwork. This study explores 4 fractional ownership platforms in the domestic art market including Art Together, Art & Guide, Tessa, and Pica projects, using a business model canvas that describes nine key elements: Customer Segments, Value Proposition, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partners and Cost Structure. The four cases have similar business models, but the details of revenue streams are different. The key sources of revenue are the profit and commission of the work. Thus, maximizing the profit margin of artworks is the core of revenue streams, so selecting and purchasing highly profitable artworks are significant. Based on the analysis, there are 3 suggestions to continue fractional ownership platform businesses in art market successfully. First, it is required to have a long-term perspective on art investments, as a way to diverse asset portfolio. Second, business confidence should be increased to maintain customer loyalty. Third, the role of platforms as competent experts is important.

  • The use of professional retirement personnel who have largely left their economic activities due to the retirement of baby boomers is a modern task and is emerging as a social issue. This study aims to explo re the perception of professional retirees' overseas volunteer experience as NGOs and seek ways to utilize pro fessional retirement personnel. This study is a qualitative study using photo-voice, and the participants in the study are retirees of retirement age from professions with experience in NGO overseas service. Data were collected through group activities and individual interviews, and data were analyzed using participatory analysis and subject analysis. The perception derived from the study was that NGO overseas service is the best job to be safe and raise the national status, and that information on this is wanted to be provided in retirement education. In conclusion, retirement education for the expansion of NGO overseas service was conducted not only in public enterprises but also in general workplaces to discuss ways to prepare before retirement, and the operation of the Retired NGO Overseas Volunteer Information Service Center was suggested. This study is meaningful in presenting basic data for preparing alternatives to social welfare policies in old age after retirement through the recognition of the experience of professional retirees in overseas NGO service

A Study on the Effect of Investor Sentiment and Liquidity on Momentum and Stock Returns (투자자 심리와 유동성이 모멘텀과 주식수익률에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study analyzes whether investor sentiment and liquidity explain the momentum phenomenon in the Korean stock market and whether it is a risk factor for the asset pricing model. The empirical analysis used the monthly returns of non-financial companies listed on the stock market during the period 2000-2021. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that there is a momentum effect in Korea. This is the same result as the previous study, and since 2000, the momentum effect has been accepted as a general phenomenon in the Korean stock market. Second, if we look at the portfolio based on investor sentiment, investor sentiment is influencing momentum. In particular, when investor sentiment is negative, the return on the winner portfolio is high. Third, as a result of the analysis based on liquidity, the momentum effect disappears and a reversal effect appears. Fourth, it was found that investor sentiment and liquidity influence the momentum effect. This is a result of the strong momentum effect in the illiquid stock group with negative investor sentiment. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the effect of each factor on stock returns, it was found that both investor psychology and liquidity factors have a significant impact on returns. The estimated results provide evidence that the inclusion of these two factors in the Carhart four-factor model significantly increases the predictive power of the model. Therefore, it can be said that investor sentiment factors and liquidity factors are important factors in determining stock returns.

A study on the formation of worker's job-satisfaction: The influence of emotional support, resiliency of self-efficacy, stress and job-performance (직장인의 직무만족도 형성에 대한 연구: 정서적 지원, 어려움극복효능감, 스트레스 및 직무성취도의 영향)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the factors influencing on worker's job-satisfaction analyzing the influence of emotional support from fellow workers, resiliency of self-efficacy, stress and job-performance. A total of 456 completed questionnaire, consisted of small business workers 253 (male 89, female 164) and middle school teachers 203 (male 44, female 159). The questionnaire showed relatively high reliability, with Cronbach α ranging from .83 to .91. The results of the path analysis and effect analysis showed very similar pattern in the group of small business workers and middle school teachers. Based on the path analysis, emotional support from fellow workers had a positive influence on the workers resiliency of self-efficacy. Consequently, the enhanced resiliency of self-efficacy increased the job-performance, however decreased the stress, which in turn contributed to increase the job-satisfaction significantly. Based on the effect analysis, resiliency of self-efficacy showed the most big size of positive total effect to worker's job-satisfaction, followed by job-performance and emotional support. On the other hand, stress showed negative effect on job-satisfaction.

An Exploratory Study On the Future Growth Strategies for Korean General Trading Companies: Applying Japanese GTC Models into Korean Companies (한국 종합상사의 미래 성장전략에 관한 탐색적 연구: 일본 종합상사 경험의 한국적 적용 방향을 중심으로)

  • Korean general trading companies had started their business to benchmark and to adopt the successful new business models of the Japanese ones. Nevertheless, the strategic gaps between Korean and Japanese GTCs, Sogo-Shosha, still exist, including financial profitability and managerial competencies. In this regard, it is academically and practically required to find out the differences between Korean and Japanese GTCs. This study overviews the previous researches and the business cases to understand the features of GTCs and to get recent and meaningful factors which are related with the rebirth of Sogo-Shosha. Thereafter, in-depth interviews with industry experts and scholars and subsequent investigations were also conducted to suggest meaningful implications for both academicians and practitioners with the found factors. This study suggests four fundamental differences between the Korean and Japanese GTCs: ① the origin and growth path, ② business ownership, governance strategies and contracts management, ③ availabilities of investment portfolio and risk management, ④ business operation system and organizational culture. This study suggests meaningful implications for Korean GTCs to apply the experiences and lessons learned from Japanese Sogo-Shosha into their own business.

Structural Relationship among User Experience, Flow and Satisfaction of Electronic Hogu System in the Taekwondo Game (태권도 경기에서 전자호구 시스템의 사용자 경험, 몰입 및 만족의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effects of user experience on flow and satisfaction of electronic hogu system in the taekwondo game. The subjects were players who had experience using electronic hogu system in the taekwondo game for 2014 year 7month~10month. 652 samples out of 750 samples through convenient sampling method were adopted as a final data. We confirmed the goodness of fit test of the model, utilizing SPSS WIN Ver 18.0, and AMOS 7.0, and after which we tested each hypothesis. The results were as follows; First, sentient, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, relational experience of user experience did not have a significant influence on cognition flow. Second, sentient, emotional, relational experience of user experience did not have a significant influence on behavioral flow. Third, cognitive, behavioral experience of user experience had a significant influence on behavioral flow. Fourth, cognition, behavioral flow had a significant influence on satisfaction. Fifth, factor between native and foreigner taekwondo players had significantly different. This paper is a meaningful to figure out user satisfaction of electronic hogu system in taekwondo games and maximize athletic performance.

Effects of High School Students' Career Education Counseling on Career Decision Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy (고등학생의 학교 진로교육 상담이 교육 만족도와 진로결정 자기효능감에 미친 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 'career decision making', 'school career education activities and participation', and 'school career education satisfaction' after 568 high school students. Methods: The subjects were surveyed after the counseling training. Results: 49.3% of the respondents answered that they had "decided but considered" in the "career decision information items" of the questionnaire about the subjects after the school career counseling education. 28.0% of the parents' advice was the most helpful when choosing their career, and 52.2% of the career decision making at school. There were 13 items in 'participation in school career education activity', and the average value was 3.49. The highest score was 3.66 points for "college or major experience" and the lowest score of 3.27 points for career-linked career education. In 'satisfaction with School Career Education', 94.7% of creative experiential activities and 94% of career and vocational courses were enthusiasts, and entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship experience (10.6%) were low. The career decision - making self - efficacy was also high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Conclusions: School career decisions for high school students were effective when they were devoted to parental advice, university experience, creative vocational and career, and vocational education. The career decision - making self - efficacy was high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Therefore, career counseling education considered adequate if it is devoted to education professionals.

Intention to Participate Crowdfunding based on Trust and Perceived Risk: An Exploratory Study with Comparison between Korea and Austria (이용자의 신뢰와 위험인지에 따른 크라우드펀딩(Crowdfunding) 참여의도: 한국과 오스트리아 탐색적 비교 연구)

  • With the penetration of the Internet and e-commerce, a 'crowdfunding' has emerged as a new way of financing. Crowdfunding has the advantage for a person to able to a simple way to finance her/his an innovative product or service from crowd. However, the success rate for crowdfunding projects is less than half. In this study, we introduce social exchange theory to explore the impact of trust and perceived psychological risk on the intention to participate in a crowdfunding website. Different from previous studies that have focused on a crowdfunding creator, we consider two different perspectives of a project creator and a project supporter. In addition, we compare perceptions of crowdfunding in different cultural contexts by conducting survey in two different countries Korea and Austria. Result shows that trust in recommendation and trust in website have different impacts on the intention to participate from two different perspectives. It also shows that perception of the quality and transparency of information provided by crowdfunding website has greater impact on trust in Korea than that in Austria. In case of perception of psychological risk, it has a negative impact on Austria's intention to create or support a project. On the other hand, it has relatively small impact on the intention to support and does not affect the intention to create a project in Korea.

  • 국내 보험 산업은 경제발전에 따라 많은 성장을 이루어왔으나 단체보험은 보험 회사의 외부적 또는 내부적 환경으로 인해 활성화가 미흡한 상황이다. 개인보험시장의 포화, 해외시장에서 단체보험의 지속적인 성장, 사회보험 민영화 논의, 방카슈랑스와 보험시장의 개방 등 급격한 변화를 겪고 있는 보험영업환경을 고려한다면 향후 확대될 기업복지시장에서의 성공적 역할수행을 위해서는 단체보험 영업과 지원시스템의 보완이 시급한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 특히 언더라이팅 기법은 단체보험의 핵심역량이며 회사의 경쟁력 강화와 사차익 안정화를 위해서는 단체보험 인수기법의 선진화가 필수요건이다. 단체보험은 대수의 법칙, 수지상등의 원칙 등 보험의 기본원리라는 측면에서는 개인보험과 다른 점이 없지만 하나의 계약을 통해 집단의 피보험자에게 보장을 제공하기 때문에 가지게 되는 역선택 축소, 비용절감, 기업에 의한 1차선택 등 몇 가지 특성들은 인수기법에서의 차이를 필요로 한다. 하지만 국내의 단체보험 언더라이팅은 기본개념조차 제대로 정립되어 있지 못한 초기단계로 단체보험의 특성을 제대로 반영할 수 있는 위험평가를 위해서는 선진기법의 도입이 절실하다. 첫째, 자유보장한도(FREE COVER LIMIT)의 도입이다. 자유보장한도는 단체에 대한 위험과 피보험자 개인의 위험을 구분하는 기준으로 자유보장한도내의 피보험자에 대해서는 고지나 의적 검사를 요구하지 않고 개인별 언더라이팅을 하지 않으며 거절체나 표준하체이더라도 자유보장한도 금액까지는 나머지 정상 피보험자들과 동일한 보장을 제공하는 것을 말한다. 이는 피보험자별 위험을 중심으로 심사하고 있는 현재의 국내 단체보험 인수방법에서 발생되는 고객측 불만과 심사의 비효율성을 개선할 수 있는 방안이다. 둘째, 단체별 특성에 따른 보험요율 차등화이다 단체는 산업의 종류, 피보험자의 직무, 지역적 위치, 크기(피보험자수), 성별구성비 등 여러 가지 특성들을 가지고 있으며 이런 특성들은 보장급부에 따라 발생위험에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 하지만 현재 나이와 성별에 따라서 피보험자별로 정해지는 요율체계만으로는 이런 위험들을 적절하게 반영하지 못하고 단체별 형평성에도 문제가 생긴다. 따라서 정확한 data 구축을 통해 단체 특성별로 어떤 보장에 어느 정도로 위험 발생에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하여 보험요율을 차등부과 할 수 있는 체계를 갖추어야 한다. 셋째, 경험을 활용한 보험료 산정기법이다. 이것은 개인보험과 구분되는 가장 큰 단체보험만의 특성이라 할 수 있는데 해당 단체의 과거 경험 data 즉 청구로 인한 지급금액을 토대로 당해 계약 보험료를 결정하는 방법이다. 이를 위해서는 과거 경험 data가 얼마나 신뢰할 수 있는 지의 정도(신뢰도)를 측정하는 것이 필요하다. 과학적이고 효율적인 단체보험 인수를 위해서 경험율의 활용은 반드시 이루어져야 할 선결과제이다. 넷째, 관련규정의 정비가 필요하다 단체보험의 특성을 갖기 위해서는 가입가능한 피보험자들의 자격규정(eligibility), 활동적근무 조건(actively at work)이 요구되어야 하며 참여비율(가입비율)과 보장수준의 구성방법에 대해서도 가이드라인 설정을 통해 역선택을 최소화 할 수 있는 제도적 보완이 마련되어야 한다. 이런 선진인수기법의 도입과 함께 단체보험 언더라이터의 필요역량을 개발하고 향상시키는 노력도 병행되어야만 종합금융화, 대형화가 진전되면서 대경쟁의 구도로 바뀌고 있는 국내 보험시장에서의 경쟁력 확보가 가능할 것이다.
