This study conducted an overall recognition analysis and demand survey of parent education programs in order to explore ways to promote parent education. Based on previous research, the questionnaire was developed including five factors and 23 items : (1) operating a center to support parent education, (2) perception on parent education programs, (3) developing a parent education program, (4) utilizing space, and (5) program operation and evaluation. A survey was administered on the parents of second and fourth graders at A elementary school in Chungju. The result showed that parents are positive about the operation of the center, which can provide professional support for parent education programs. There was also a great demand to strengthen the educational content of parents' roles. This study is meaningful in providing basic data for developing parent education programs based on the perception and demand analysis of existing parent education. Furthermore, the need for performance analysis and feedback was presented in future research directions after the actual development and operation of parent education programs that reflected the demand of parents.
This paper takes a close look at technology related services of e-Commerce companies from the viewpoint of B2C customers. The goal is to determine at which specific points of the customer purchase journey changes should occur, to address consumers' personal needs more effectively. All ten technologies examined fall into one of the following steps of the customer purchase journey: Decision Making, Payment Methods, and Delivery. AHP was utilized to clarify the preferences of millennials from Germany and Korea. The findings show that factors such as country of origin and gender had an impact on the preferences of the survey participants. In case of Germany, women replied that a change in Payment Methods would lead to significant enhancement of their shopping experiences, whereas men favored Decision Making. As for Korea, both genders stated that Decision Making should be the focus of marketers' efforts. One of the main findings was that participants from Germany and Korea exhibited different tastes in the use of technologies. Germans preferred functional technologies, whereas Koreans favored technologies which are more engaging and entertaining.

This study compares Online SW-based maker education in terms of self-efficacy, learning motivation, and interest after applying differently according to blended learning strategies. First, a SW maker program for blended learning was developed and applied as a live seminar-type class including real-time interactive and a support-providing class consisting of online content and Q&A. As a result of comparing the differences between students according to the two strategies divided into pre- and post- survey, in the self-efficacy part, there was a significant difference in the positive efficacy and the overall part, and in the learning motivation part, the live seminar form was significantly higher in the confidence part. In the interest part, the support-providing form showed a significantly higher average in the instrumental interest and nervous part. In order to maintain the effect of maker activities like existing face-to-face situations in Online learning, it is necessary to increase sharing time between students, an integrated learning environment, and sufficient provision of exploration time and learning materials.
Objectives: This study aims to discover how the spread of K-POP and the diversification of the Korean Wave affects Korea's national reputation. K-POP stars are diversifying their interactions with fandom by creating an online space to consume various products and services related to their stars and engage in fan activities. Because of this, this study aims to examine the relevance of K-POP to national reputation through a parasocial relationship with K-POP stars by fandom forming a community and utilizing media. Methods: An online survey was conducted in English using the Amazon survey company Mechanical Turk for BTS fans living in the United States. A total of 195 people's data, excluding incomplete responses, were used for the analysis. Results: It was found that BTS fans' social media participation activities themselves did not directly affect Korea's national reputation. But the mediating effect of BTS fans' parasocial relationship was found. That is, BTS fans' social media participation activities had a positive effect on their parasocial relationships with BTS which in turn had a positive effect on their national reputation. Conlusions: The use and participation of BTS fans in social media in Korea's national reputation has no significant effect on itself, but it has been found that it affects the national reputation through forming parasocial relationships. From the study results, the parasocial relationship of K-POP fans can be used as a strategic mechanism to enhance the national image and Korea's national reputation.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change in the use of home meal replacement (HMR) and delivered foods and food habits of college students due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: A survey was conducted on 460 male and female college students in Chungcheong province in December 2020. Results: The methods of participation in classes in the 2nd semester of 2020 were 40.2% for '100% non-face-to-face' and 40.4% for 'more than 70.0% of non-face-to-face classes'. 52.8% of the subjects responded that their physical activity had decreased, while 36.1% of the subjects responded that their body weight had increased over the past 6 months. Regarding the use of HMR, 62.7% of the male students and 69.6% of the female students responded with '1-2 times a week or less' before the outbreak of COVID-19. After the outbreak, 57.4% of males and 46.7% of females responded with '3-4 times a week or more' (p < 0.05, p < 0.001). As for the use of delivered food, 58.3% of the females responded with '2-3 times a month or less' before the outbreak, whereas the rate of responding with '1 or more times a week' after the outbreak was 64.6% (p < 0.001). Negative changes in food habits caused by COVID-19 were in the order of irregular meals (56.7%), increased intake of delivered food (42.2%), increased intake of snacks (33.3%), and increased intake of processed foods such as HMR (30.4%). Conclusion: As mentioned above, many college students had non-face-to-face classes due to COVID-19. During this period, they experienced decreased physical activity, weight gain, and undesirable eating habits such as irregular meal time, and increased intake of processed foods, delivery foods, and snacks. Therefore, there is a high need for nutrition education and policy support for the prevention and management of health and nutrition problems of college students, which can be caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of resilience in the relationship between parent support and career decision level of specialization technical high school students and to find out ways to improve the level of desirable career guidance and counseling. The research questions are as follows: First, what is the level of parent support, career decision level, and resilience of special technical high school students? Second, what is the relationship between parent support, career decision level and resilience of high school students? Third, the resilience of resilience plays a mediating role in the relationship between parent support and career decision level of special technical high school students. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the theoretical background related to parent support, career decision level, and resilience of special technical high school students was investigated and the test tool was produced. The results of the study are as follows. Parental support, career decision level, and resilience were highly correlated. There was a significant correlation between parent support and career decision level, resilience and career decision level, and emotional support and verbal encouragement were more than 50% of the career decision level. In terms of mediating effect, the effect of parent support on career decision level was found to be partially mediated by overall resilience and sub - factors such as control, positive, and sociality. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of career guidance counseling, a program linked to the school and the home should be conducted considering both domestic factors and internal factors.
Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the behavioral intentions of breastfeeding in single women using the theory of planned behavior. Methods: The questionnaires were distributed to 350 single women in her 20~30s, and 316 respondents were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Spearman's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The subjects showed strong intentions and favorable attitudes toward breastfeeding. The subjects were more favorably influenced by their mothers, siblings, friends, and coworkers who previously experienced breastfeeding than ones with no breastfeeding experiences. There were significant correlations between breastfeeding intention and attitudes (r = 0.321, p < 0.0001), subjective norms (r = 0.434, p < 0.0001), and perceived control (r = 0.307, p < 0.0001). However, regression analysis with two different age groups revealed that subjective norms (p < 0.0001) and perceived control (p < 0.001) contributed to the model of explaining breastfeeding intentions in subjects who were 25 years old or younger, whereas attitudes did not. In addition, subjects who were more than 25 years old showed that attitudes (p < 0.003) and subjective norms (p = 0.002) contributed to the model of explaining breastfeeding intentions while perceived control (p < 0.070) showed less contribution. Conclusion: These results suggest that the theory of planned behavior can be a useful tool to increase the rate of breastfeeding intentions in single women when designing educational materials, which requires consideration of age differences.

This study was conducted to analyze recognition, applicability, class satisfaction, and needs as well as students' attitudes for eating behavior by 1st and 3rd graders of a mixed middle school located in Gyeonggi area in relation to food and nutrition section of the Technology and Home Economics curriculum and thereby provide basic data for development of strategies of educational effect maximization of food and nutrition in the curriculum. 522 questionnaire were collected and statistically processed. Findings from this study are as follows. Both 1st and 3rd graders were found to exhibit relatively low preference for technology and home economics curriculum. While 1st graders were more interested in the subject than 3rd graders, the frequency of practical use of the food and nutrition section in every day life was higher in 3rd graders than that in 1st graders. For food and nutrition section of the subject, preference level of the 1st graders was higher than 3rd graders. The 1st graders were higher than 3rd graders in the needs for food and nutrition section as well as in usefulness in every day life of the unit. The applicability in every day life of the unit was found to be generally higher, with 1st graders having a higher level of applicability than 3rd graders (p<0.001). Class satisfaction of the unit was higher in 1st graders than 3rd graders, with the most satisfactory unit being 'basics and practice of cooking' both for 1st and 3rd graders. Needs for food and nutrition unit were higher in 1st graders than 3rd graders, with the unit highly needed being 'basics and practice of cooking' both for 1st and 3rd graders. Regarding interrelation of the degree of preference, need, applicability and class satisfaction, as the preference was high on food and nutrition, the degree of need, applicability, and class satisfaction was high. As respondents recognized food nutrition section necessary, they were more satisfied and showed high applicability for the section. Therefore, contents of food and nutrition section should be improved with re-organization of educational and subject contents so that they will be best fit for students by grade, to increase preference, applicability and necessity in every life. In addition, to maximize the applicability of the subject in everyday life, sufficient class-time should be assigned for the purpose of experiment- and practice-based education, and a wide range of teaching strategies are needed to increase students' interest in the subject.

This study aimed to develop a creative education class program using metaphor, one of the creative thinking techniques, and to examine the effectiveness of the program targeting for randomly sampled 338 students in six middle schools. The creative education class program with the metaphor was developed based on content elements concerning 'astronomy' in 2015 science curriculum revision in South Korea. The program was tested for validity after being modified and supplemented three times by forming a group of experts, and the final version of the program was applied to school education fields during four periods, including block time. To find out the effectiveness of the program and the implementation, creative education class satisfaction test and creative thinking process test were conducted. That is to say, the creative education class satisfaction test was conducted before treatment and the creative thinking process test was implemented both before and after treatment. The results of the study are as follows. First, in this study, the program was developed with the emphasis on students voluntarily and actively participating in creative education programs while utilizing creative thinking methods. Second, the statistical results of the pre- and post-class about the creative education program using the metaphor of creative thinking techniques represented significant results(p<.05). In other words, the two-dependent samples by students' pre-and post-score about the creative education class showed significant statistical test results (p<.05). It turned out that the creative education program using metaphor has had a positive impact on research participants. Third, in regards to the results of the creative education class satisfaction test, 101 out of 338 students(30%) answered 'Strongly Agree' and 137(41%) answered 'Agree', indicating the subjects' satisfaction with the class was high in general. On the other hand, concerning difficulties of the creative class, 137(41%) answered "Lack of time" as the main factor, followed by 98(30%) "Difficulties of problems they were required to solve", 73(22%) answered "Conflicts with friends", and 24(7%) said "Difficulties of contents." These responses were taken into account as considerations for further development of creative education programs.
The main purposes of this study were to analyze the moderating effect of parenting knowledge in the relationship between socio-demographic factors and parenting style. This study was conducted with the data from 'Panel Study Korean Children(2009).' Among the original data, a sample of 1,637 mothers with infants ranged from 13 to 18 months old was selected. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were significant differences in child's birth-order, mother's education level, and monthly family income. Second, there was a statistically significant difference in the parenting style of mothers in their parenting knowledge. That is, the mother with a high score in parenting knowledge reported more positive parenting style. Lastly, the interaction effects between socio-demographic variables and parenting knowledge on parenting style were statistically significant only with the variables such as child's birth-order and mother's education level. The mothers who cared for their first child and got a high score in parenting knowledge showed the most desirable parenting style, and the mothers whose educational level was under high school graduation and parenting knowledge score was low reported the lowest score in parenting style. These results suggest parenting knowledge should be subject-specifically provided as the differences in socio-demographic variables.
