This study analyzes the relationship between household debts and married female's labor supply. For doing this we construct effective interest rate faced by each household using interest paid amount and household financial debt amount. The effective interests rate for the households which have no financial debt are estimated by Heckman Selection model. The estimation results show that the increase in effective interest rate has led to the expansion of married women's the labor market participation. This suggests a possibility that negative scenarios resulting from an increase in interest rate can be partially offset by an increase in household labor supply and a rise in labor income.

We analyzed the structures and properties of the global financial market networks using social network analysis approach. The Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) lengths and networks of the global financial markets based on the correlation coefficients have been analyzed. Firstly, similar to the previous studies on the global stock indices using MST length, the diversification effects in the global multi-asset portfolio can disappear during the crisis as the correlations among the asset class and within the asset class increase due to the system risks. Second, through the network visualization, we found the clustering of the asset class in the global financial markets network, which confirms the possible diversification effect in the global multi-asset portfolio. Meanwhile, we found the changes in the structure of the network during the crisis. For the last one, in terms of the degree centrality, the stock indices were the most influential to other assets in the global financial markets network, while in terms of the betweenness centrality, Gold, Silver and AUD. In the practical perspective, we propose the methods such as MST length and network visualization to monitor the change of the correlation risk for the risk management of the multi-asset portfolio.

This study presents an integrated data mining model for the credit evaluation of the customers of a capital company. Based on customer information and financing processes in capital market, we derived individual models from multi-layered perceptrons(MLP), multivariate discrimination analysis(MDA), and decision tree. Further, the results from the existing models were compared with the results from the integrated model using genetic algorithm. The integrated model presented by this study turned out to be superior to the existing models. This study contributes not only to verifying the existing individual models but also to overcoming the limitations of the existing approaches.

This paper characterizes an optimal combination of grant and income-contingent loans (ICL) from efficiency and equity points of view as a government subsidy program for higher-education. In particular, we show that it is always desirable to introduce ICL for students regardless of their household incomes, and also provide arguments for the superiority of tax-financing system to loans with risk-premium as a financing mechanism of ICL. From policy point of view, this paper suggests a need for the extended coverage of our ICL system, while justifying its current tax-financing system.

We study the possibility of entering into helicopter market with respect to demand, industry structure and infrastructure. In conclusion, it is possible to enter into it based on domestic demand if we complement some technology, financial assistance system and helicopter operation related regulation. Strategy is made for helicopter industry to be a growth driver and then we suggest five projects to carry out it. Those are lasting creation of helicopter demand, possession of core part material and competitive technology, construction of airworthiness certification system and infrastructure for activation of helicopter operation, improvement of financial assistance system and finally strengthening policy modulation between civil, army, and government.

최근 건설산업은 공공 및 민간부문의 발주물량 감소가 가시화되고 있으며, 최저가입제에 의한 사업수익율 하락 추세는 향후 건설업 붕괴위기, 건설산업 사양산업화라는 비관적 견해가 떠돌 만큼 건설업 전반이 심각한 위기를 맞고 있다. 정부는 재정 부족으로 인하여 SOC사업의 축소조정이 불가피하지만 국가경제의 악영향 해소와 신속한 경쟁력 회복을 위해 SOC사업에 대한 투자확대와 푹소범위 최소화의 필요성을 인식하고 있으며, 이에 재정부족과 SOC 확충이라는 두가지 문제를 해격하기 위해 민간투자사업이 활성화되고 있는 실정이다. 현재, 정부에 의해 주도되고 있는 민간투자사업의 제도 및 법률의 개정방향은 피간 건설업체가 주도하던 민자사업에 대하여 연기금 및 금융권으로의 전환을 예고하고 있으나, 현실적으로 금융권이 자체적으로 SOC 사업에 대한 투자를 위한 사업 타당성 분석이 어려운 실정이므로 이에 대한 대안으로 SOC 민간투자사업에 대한 노하우를 축적한 건설업체의 SOC 민간투자사업 분야에 아웃소싱 개닐념 도입, 특화하여 효율성을 극대화 시킴으로써 사업의 안정성 확보와 동시에 투자 수익 실현을 통하여 SOC 민간투자 활성화에 견인차 역학을 할 수 있는 전문운영회사의 도입에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

During a decade, e-Commerce environments supporting real-time transaction processing have been getting larger. In telecommunication and financial environments, research and building for main memory database systems have been doing to support real-time transaction processing. A research on indexing for fast transaction support focuses on reducing cache misses or reducing memory access latency when cache misses happen. In the paper, we propose a prefetch method for tree index structures to reduce memory access latency. We present a prefetch-efficient pCST-tree and show superiority of the proposed tree by experiments.

Random walk hypothesis is a hypothesis that explains theoretically the difficulty in forecasting in financial market. Various tests for the hypothesis have been developed so far but it is known that those tests suffer from low power and size distortion. In this article, a sign test based on slopes are suggested to overcome these difficulties. A simulation study is conducted to compare this test to the often used Dickey and Fuller (1979) test.

ODA finance in the water sector has decreased after reaching a peak in 2012 although total ODA commitments have steadily increased according to OECD DAC data. However, climate finance in the water sector has increased so much since 2013 according to 7 MDB Joint report on Climate Finance. Water, especially, in climate change is the main issue for adaptation, and the total finance in the water sector reached 50% of the international public adaptation finance in 2016. However, the procedures for approval and the requirements of the proposals for climate funds are different from those for development finance. Notwithstanding the changes in money flows in the water sector, most korean engineering consulting firms in the water infrastructure area are not ready to win the funds relating to climate change. Therefore, It is important to understand a variety of sources of climate funds, characteristics, funding scale on each purpose and procedures for approval. Korean government needs to provide the firms the opportunities to buildup experiences by getting involved in climate adaptation projects with the financial support for developing PPFs, concept notes, and proposals.

SMEs in Korea IT infrastructure needs as well as commercial services such as simulation, test environment configuration, to perform tasks that require a step-by-step in the product development process, which requires different IT Infrastructure Outsourcing workforce commitment, according to the rapid changes in the size of the organization's efficient IT infrastructure such as cloud services because of the lack of capacity to respond to a sudden demand for IT measures required.
