Two twin microphones may produce particular patterns of binaural directivity by time delays between the twin microphones. The boundary element method (BEM) was used for the simulation of the sound pressure field around the KEMAR head model in order to quantify the acoustic head effect. The sound pressure onto the microphone was calculated by the BEM to an incident sound pressure. Then a planar directivity pattern was formed by four sound pressure signals from four microphones. The optimal binaural directivity pattern may be achieved by adjusting time delays at each frequency while maintaining the forward beam pattern is relatively bigger than the backward beam pattern. The simulation results were verified by the experimental measurement.

이 연구는 9.11 테러 이후 발생한 뉴테러리즘 중 가장 잔혹한 생물테러리즘을 예방하기 위한 대비체계중 검증체계를 구축한 실태를 확인한 논문이다. 생물테러리즘을 위기로 인식하고 예방하기 위해서는 대비체제를 잘 구축하여 관리하면서 실질적으로 가동하는 여부를 확인하는 활동이 필요하다. 생물테러리즘을 예방하기 위한 체제는 우선 테러리즘을 예방하기위한 법체계가 구축되어야 하고, 생물테러리즘에 사용되는 전구물질을 통제하는 법체계가 갖추어져야 한다. 그리고 이러한 법체계를 수행하기 위한 각종 조직들이 갖추어지고, 조직들이 활성화되어야 한다. 본 연구결과 한국에는 테러리즘을 통제하는 상위법령이 없는 상태이나 국제적인 요구에 부응하기 위해, BWC의 협약에 언급된 직 간접적인 이전금지, 제조, 획득, 권유, 조장 등을 금지하기 위해 생물테러리즘을 예방하기 위한 여러 법령을 제정하고, 이를 시행하기 위한 조직이 구성되어 활동 중이다. 또한 생물테러리즘에 사용될 수 있는 물질과 장비들은 산업계와 학계에서 연구목적으로 또는 의료약품 생산을 목적으로 필요로 하는 것이므로 생물학 물자 및 장비의 유통질서를 확립하고 확인하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위한 조직이 활동 중이다. 생물무기 보유여부의 신고, 이의 폐기, 평화적 용도로의 전환사용 등에 대해서도 추진 중이다. 또한 이를 국제적으로 확인하는 체제를 구축하기 위한 국제적 협력이 계속 되어야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 M사의 제조공정에서 얻어진 대 용량 데이터를 사용하여 실리콘 웨이퍼의 중요 품질특성 중 하나인 Warp 불량원인을 분석한 사례이다. 이론적으로는 많은 양의 데이터를 확보하고 있을 경우 검출력의 향상으로 공정의 미세한 변화를 보다 민감하게 탐지할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 현실적으로는 불필요한 정보 혹은 많은 잡음 요인들의 개입으로 인하여 공정에 대한 올바른 이해가 더 어려울 수도 있다. 본 연구는 공정에 대한 경험과 기술적인 지식을 활용하여 분석의 기본 방향을 설정하고 많은 양의 데이터를 체계적으로 분석한 후 분석 결과를 실질적인 측면에서 재검토하여 의미 있는 결과를 도출하는 순서로 진행되었다. 데이터 분석의 과정 및 결과는 공정의 자동화로 수많은 데이터가 실시간으로 기록되는 상황에서 잡음요인들로 인한 영향을 배제하고 핵심요인에 의한 영향을 파악하는데 참고할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

This study suggests a computational model to inquire the roles of phonological information and orthography information in the process of visual word recognition among the courses of language information processing and the representation types of the mental lexicon. As the result of the study, the computational model showed the phonological and orthographic neighborhood effect among language phenomena which are shown in Korean word recognition, and showed proofs which implies that the mental lexicon is represented as phonological information in the process of Korean word recognition.

The lexical decision task (LDT) commonly postulates the activation of semantic level. However, there are few studies for the feedback effect from semantic level. The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether the feedback effect from semantic level is facilitatory or inhibitory in Korean LDT. In Experiment 1, we manipulated the number of phonological syllable neighbors (PSN) and the number of semantic neighbors (SEN) orthogonally while orthographic syllable neighbor (OSN) is dense. In the results, the significant facilitatory effect was shown in words with many SEN. In Experiment 2, we examined same conditions as Experiment 1 but OSN was sparse. Although the similar lexical decision latency pattern was shown, there was no statistical significance. These results can be explained by the feedback activation from semantic level. If a target has many SENs and many PSNs, it receives more feedback activation from semantic level than a target with few SENs and PSNs.

This paper examined two hypotheses. Firstly, if the first syllable of word play an important role in visual word recognition, it may be the unit of word neighbor. Secondly, if the first syllable is the unit of lexical access, the neighborhood size effect and the neighborhood frequency effect would appear in a lexical decision task and a form primed lexical decision task. We conducted two experiments. Experiment 1 showed that words had large neighbors made a inhibitory effect in the LDT(lexical decision task). Experiment 2 showed the interaction between the neighborhood frequency effectand the word form similarity in the form primed LDT. We concluded that the first syllable in Korean words might be the unit of word neighborhood and play a central role in a lexical access.

Purpose : This study was investigated the effect of static balance recovery during open kinetic chain exercise (OKC) and closed kinetic chain exercise(CKC). Methods : The paticipants were consisted of forty-one, was perform 3 sets, 3 times per week for 6 weeks, balance was measured by GOOD BALANCE. Statistical analysis was used repeated measure two-way ANOVA and independent t-test. Results : In CKC group, Center of presure(COP) medial-lateral(ML) velocity was significantly increased post 6 week test than pre-test, post 2 week test. COP anterior-posterior(AP) velocity was significantly increased post 6 week test than pre-test (p<.05). Conclusion : It was found that both OKC and CKC was significantly increased balance recovery in normal younng adults. In further study, it was suggested that was regard patient with muscle weakness.

We present a case of a 37-year-old woman who had Kimura's disease involving the lower extremity mimicking malignant soft tissue mass. The diagnosis of Kimura's disease would be considered if there is a subcutaneous solid mass showing the preservation of the nodal architecture with perinodal infiltrations and the laboratory examinations for peripheral eosinophilia and serum IgE level should be recommended although it occurs at the lower extremity.

Objective : The purpose of this study is evaluated the effects of Oriental treatments to symptoms and quality of life in the patients with herniated cervical disc being suggested operation. Methods : 20 patients diagnosed with herniated cervical disc by MRI in hospital were treated by oriental medical treatments. Symptoms of the patients were assessed by analogue scale(VAS) and SF-36. Results : After 12 weeks treatments, the VAS of symptoms of herniated cervical disc and the score of SF-36 were significantly improved. Conclusions : It could be suggested that oriental medical treatments were effective for the patients with herniated cervical disc being suggested operation. Further study of the effect of oriental medical treatments on herniated cervical disc is needed.
