Analysis on the Relative Efficiency based on Data Envelopment Analysis for Colleges in South Korea - Focused on Evaluation of Basic Competency in College - (DEA분석을 기반으로 하는 한국 전문대학의 상대적 효율성 분석 -대학기본역량진단을 중심으로-)

  • The result of this study was to measure the relative efficiency of 133 colleges in south korea and to investigate the differences in the results of college basic competency evaluation. As a result of the study showed that the average difference of efficiency according to the background variables was no significant according to the scale, location, and college evaluation. but differences in the type of establishment were found to vary significantly in S.E model. In addition, it was analyzed that the efficiency of the college with limited funding for the efficiency distribution is highly distributed, which indicates that it is necessary to continuously improve the existing university methods and to assess whether they are being managed effectively. Finally, the limitations of this study are that it used only quantitative data and that additional indicators could result in different outcomes from the results of this study.

  • Government promotes that the strategy of national R&D converts from catch-up R&D type to leading R&D type for the future growth and national competitiveness according to the recent paradigm shift in the research and development. So the many national researches about foundation, source and core technology are actively being made. As a result of these researches, the security has become an important part of success factor in R&D. And so various security diagnosis and evaluation is being conducted about national R&D program. Existing the research security evaluation models are classified domains in terms of security management and created evaluation indicators according to the domains. However the models are inappropriate in case of researchers doing self-diagnosis of research security. This paper set up the domains in aspect of research management and then proposed the evaluation indicator of research security according to the domains. The evaluation indicator model that is suggested can be utilized in self-diagnosis of research security effectively.

Design of Online Assessment Item Management System (온라인 평가 문항 관리 시스템의 설계)

  • This paper presents the online assessment questions management system and method. The proposed system consists of a database to store learner information and zone-specific items grouped by difficulty and item bank. This database includes: an item selection department and authoring assessment to select questions about a particular learner or specific learning item. In this paper, we propose: an item bank database which stores online output assessments; and an online test department to collect and sort learner evaluation data and answer selection order for online tests, click statistics, response time, and analysis unit response patterns department by analyzing the data collected by the online learners' test assessment, learners' level and ability, the diagnosis and assessment of report propensity. The proposed system will diagnose and effectively evaluate the learner's learning levels and learning ability by: answer selection order, number of clicks, and response time reflected in the results of the learners' evaluations.

  • Many learners on E-learning databank based selection system making self-directed progress with learning by diagnosis oneself based on automatically selection questions using degrees of difficulty. This methods is most important to choose a questions using right a way for effective self-directed learning progress of learners. This paper present new question selection algorithms consider for degree of difficulty, scope of learning and keyword of questions according to examination type. This algorithm providers more effective learning diagnosis methods as compared with previous algorithm consider for only degrees of difficulty.

  • 온라인을 이용해서 교육목적을 달성하기 위해서는 학습자 수준을 분서하여서 수준에 맞는 학습 내용을 제공해야 한다. 특히 수학과처럼 학습의 연계성이 큰 교과는 선수학습이 결손되면 후속학습의 목표 도달에 곤란을 갖게 된다. 따라서 학습자가 학습목표를 잘 도달할 수있게 하기 위해서는 선수학습 결손 여부를 판단해서 학습결손이 발견되면 보충학습을 한 뒤 본 학습을 하도록 해야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 IPI를 이용하여 학습자의 수학과 학습 수준을 분석할 수 있는 진단시스템을 설계 구현하였다. IPI(Individually Prescribed Instruction)는 학습자의 수준을 진단$\longrightarrow$처방$\longrightarrow$평가하는 개별처방교수법으로 이를 이용하면 학습자의 수준을 진단해서 학습자 수준에 맞게 처방을 하여 개별화된 학습을 할 수가 있다. 수학학습에 본 시스템을 활용하면 학습자는 학습결손이 일어나지 않게 되어 궁극적으로 학습목표에 도달할 수 있게 된다.

An Internet Addiction Self-Diagnosis Technique based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) (형식개념분석을 활용한 인터넷중독 자가진단)

  • In the case of a weak self-control youth, young students easily tend to fall into addiction by using the Internet as a sensation seeking and an alternative to escape the reality. Until now, internet addiction self-diagnosis techniques such as Internet addiction scale have been developed and used to solve this kind of internet addiction issue. However, traditional methods do not assess the correlation of addiction and the effects of the environment systematically because they are simply composed of redundant addiction scale criteria and questionnaire forms of the diagnostic methods. Thus, in this paper, we propose a new internet addiction self-diagnosis technique based on Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) and implement a self-diagnosis system in order to make a systematic internet addiction self-diagnosis system. In addition, we analyze the correlation of the measured data based on different perspectives such as home environment, family relationships, peer relationships, school life, and so on.

Practical Use of the Classroom Response System (CRS) for Diagnostic and Formative Assessments in a High School Life Science Class (고등학교 생명과학 수업의 진단평가 및 형성평가에서 교실응답시스템의 활용 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the potential of the use of the Classroom Response System (CRS), a kind of new ICT medium, in a quiz problem-solving oriented high school life science class. To find the usefulness of CRS as a teaching and learning strategy, the CRS group (n=34) sent prompt individual answers to the teachers' questions using the CRS terminal (Clicker), and the teacher then asked additional reasons of the individuals and gave personalized feedback. In the control group (n=35), the CRS was not used while the teacher asked overall questions and gave feedback in an undifferentiated way. As a result, the CRS increased students' interest and concentration during class, but there were no significant differences in study achievement between the two groups. However, there were significant differences between the medium-level groups when the two groups were divided into smaller ones based on their pre-scores. We suggest that, for effective use of the CRS for diagnostic and formative assessment, teachers should develop a teaching and learning strategy that can produce appropriate questions of various levels in advance, investigate the exact reasons for students' answers, and give customized feedback by individual as much as possible.

  • 최근 AI 를 활용한 의료 진단 솔루션 시장이 크게 성장함에 따라 의료 인공지능 기술에 대한 대학 교육에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있지만, 개인정보 유출의 위험성 등으로 인하여 의료 데이터를 대학 교육에 활용하기 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 실제 의료 데이터 대신 생성적 적대 신경망(GAN)으로 합성된 흉부 X-ray 영상을 활용한 의료 인공지능 교육 모델의 사례를 제시한다. 프로메디우스(주)에 의해 제공받은 흉부 X-ray 합성영상을 사용하여, VGG-16 모델을 훈련하고 성능을 검증 및 평가하며 미세조정을 통해 성능을 개선하는 교육 모델을 구성하였다. 또한 교육모델이 의료 인공지능에 대한 학생들의 이해력 향상에 기여한 효과를 정량적으로 평가하였다.

  • 작업안전측정 결과의 정확성을 확보하기 위하여 작업환경측정 신뢰성 평가제도가 도입됨에 따라 작업환경측정 신뢰성 평가의 방법, 대상 및 절차에 관한 세부사항을 정하고, 유해 화학물질 등을 취급하는 근로자에 대하여 실시하는 특수건강진단의 검사항목을 조정하는 한편, 그 밖의 현행 제도의 운영상 나타난 일부 미비점을 개선 보완하여 1월 1일부터 시행한 산업안전보건법 시행규칙 주요 개정 내용을 소개하고자 한다.
