본 연구는 오늘날 대학 교육과정의 일부로 중요시되고 있는 봉사학습에 대한 것으로써 봉사학습 교육과정의 하나인 해외봉사활동 프로그램을 어떻게 개발하고 체계적으로 운영하여 교육적 효과를 높일 것인지를 삼육대학교의 사례를 중심으로 제안한다. 대학은 봉사학습의 일환으로 해외봉사프로그램을 운영함에 있어 지도교수, 학생, 학교 봉사관련부서(사회봉사단 혹은 봉사센터)가 역할의 분담과 상호 협력을 통해 일관성 있으면서도 조화롭게 운영되도록 한다. 프로그램 성공의 핵심은 학교의 봉사교육에 대한 분명한 철학과 비전 제시, 지도교수들의 봉사정신과 세밀한 준비, 봉사활동 참여자들에 대한 철저한 사전교육, 봉사자들이나 팀들에 대한 봉사단의 체계적 지원활동 등이다.

지금의 사회봉사에 대해 사회 일각에서는 자원봉사를 제도화함으로써 봉사가 강용될 뿐만 아니라 형식적으로 이루어지고 있어 본래 의미를 퇴색시키고 있다는 비판도 있다. 그러나 다른 한편으로 그간의 산업사회의 폐해와 배금주의로 인해 실종된 봉사의 덕목을 소생하고 생활화하는 것은 민족공동체 회복을 위해 바람직하다는 공감대가 형성되고 있다. 특히 자원봉사가 각급학교 교육에 제도화되고 있는 만큼 초.중.고교와 대학의 사회봉사를 연계하여 체계화할 필요성이 크다.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate pre-service early childhood teachers experiences in major-associated service-learning. The participants were eight sophomores in I University and participated in major-associated service-learning during the Spring semester, 2018. They were asked to write journals about their experiences before, during, and after service-learning activities. As results, pre-service early childhood teachers reported that they realized the value of service-learning, learned the importance of concrete preparation and professional operation of activities, and experienced the enhancement of teaching efficacy.

IFLA의 어린이/청소년 도서관분과는 전세계의 어린이 청소년을 위한 도서관 발전에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 평생학습의 중요성, 어린이의 독서, 그들의 정보를 제공받을 권리에 대한 인식을 고양시키고 있다. IFLA의 어린이/청소년분과에서는 '어린이를 위한 도서관봉사의 지침'과 '청소년을 위한 도서관봉사의 지침(Guidelines for library services for Young Adults, 원문은 http://www.ifla.org/VII/x10/pub/guidelinese.pdf 참조)'을 마련하여 각 국의 언어로 번역되기를 원하고 있다. 이에 우리 협회는 도서관의 청소년 봉사에 도움이 되기를 바라며, 송영숙 어린이 청소년 봉사위원회 위원장(서울독서교육연구회 회장)이 번역하여 '독서교육정보'(서울독서교육연구회지)2003년 제30호에 게제한 '청소년을 위한 도서관봉사의 지침'을 재수록한다. -편집자주

교육, 연구, 봉사를 '더하기' 식으로 규정하는 것은 교육, 연구, 봉사를 서로 다른 시.공간에서 이루어지는 별개의 활동으로 규정함으로써 교수들로 하여금 대학 바깥의 직접적인 요구에 부응하도록 종용하는 결과를 초래하게 된다. 이것은 바로 오늘날 시행되고 있는 교수업적평가가 안고 있는 치명적인 문제점이다. 반면에 교육, 연구, 봉사를 '곱하기' 식으로 규정하는 것은 교육, 연구, 봉사를 유구한 대학의 전통 속에서 교수가 마땅히 해왔고 또 해야만 하는 한 가지 동일한 활동의 서로 다른 세 가지 측면으로 파악하는 것이며, 이것은 교수들로 하여금 대학 안의 요구에 충실히 전념하는 데에 격려와 지원이 되는 정신적 지주를 제공해 준다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning and essence of nursing students' experience of handwashing education volunteer program. There were 10 students who participated in the handwashing education service, and data collection was conducted for two months from October to November 2021, and three focus groups were formed and interviewed. Data were analyzed by Colaizz's phenomenological research method. As a result of the study, 3 themes and 10 sub-themes were derived. The three themes were 'personal development', 'self-esteem as a pre-nursing nurse', and 'knowing the meaning of service'. Nursing students learned the meaning of service through handwashing education service, and it was found that they could experience their own inner maturity. Nursing students could see that it was a time to learn the true meaning of service through handwashing education volunteering. The results of this study provided an understanding of the educational service of nursing college students, which can be applied to the diversification of educational service programs.

Most of the volunteering and community service had no direct link with classroom learning. Service-learning educational methodology that directly and intentionally integrates the classroom learning with service to the community. Research has found that this combination can improve the academic learning of the course material, give participants a deeper understanding of the social issues they address and provide valuable community services. And, service-learning has been offend environment to meet many of the KEC 2005 criteria that many be difficult to integrate into traditional engineering course. In studying, recognizing why service learning is a new attempt what is different form other learning experiences, we would like to search management strategies for service learning course and program development.

개인의 능력에 초점을 맞추던 시대가 지나고 남과 더불어 살아가는 사회로 관심이 옮겨가고 있다. 학교 교육에서는 인성교육이나 인간의 기본적 소양에 봉사의 역할을 강조하고 있다. 치과계에서는 어느 정도의 봉사활동이 이루어지고 있을까? 각 지부, 치과대학과 치과병원 등 치과계에서 벌이고 있는 봉사활동의 현황에 대해 살펴본다.

This research is to make clear the volunteer activity system through analysing activity of volunteers. Main suggestions are as below. In management system, integrated cooperating system, improvement of delivering system of relief goods and developing operating manual of volunteering management are discussed. In education system, specialized education for different disaster areas, field orientation education, and training managerial positions are suggested. In supporting system, improving NDMS(National Disaster Management System), computerized program for volunteer management, insurance for volunteers, issuing a confirmation of volunteering activity, securement of emergency communication system, budget for prevention and donation are also suggested.

Purpose: This study is a descriptive research study to identifying the factors affecting the continuity of educational service of pre-service teachers. Methods: The data collection period was from March 1 to 30, 2023. Self-efficacy, pro-sociality, work preference, and continuity of educational service were investigated for 90 pre-service teachers at two universities in G Metropolitan City. For the analysis of the collected data, IBM SPSS/Win 26.0 was used, and descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were performed. RESULTS: As a result of the study, it was found that there was a difference in educational service continuity according to age and major (p<.05). As a result of examining the correlations among work preference, self-efficacy, pro-sociality, and educational service continuity, all four variables had positive correlations (p<.05). As a result of multiple regression analysis to find out which variables had an effect on the continuity of educational service, extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality showed significant results, and the explanatory power of the two variables to explain the continuity of educational service was 57.4%. Discussion: Based on the results of this study, it is thought that it is necessary to develop and apply various programs that can strengthen extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality in order to increase the continuity of educational service.
