  • In modern society, cultural heritage has played a role in constituting national identity. The Cultural Heritage Education Project started in the 2000s by the Cultural Heritage Administration was also aware of the issue of sustainable development and cultural diversity as major cultural issues at the time. However, the main purpose of previous cultural heritage education was to foster national identity. The Cultural Heritage Administration has executed cultural heritage education programs since 2006. The education program of the cultural heritage teacher visiting the school, the project to designate a cultural heritage school, and an education program to experience cultural heritage at an archaeological site were carried out. In the 2010s, the theme of cultural rights and enjoyment of cultural heritage in life was raised as an important issue. Cultural heritage education had to accept the 'new meaning of cultural heritage', 'cultural rights', and 'learnercentered education'. In this context, the local cultural heritage education project started. The region is a space where various identities are reconstructed. However, local cultural heritage education itself cannot realize cultural heritage enjoyment in life. Therefore, it is necessary to seek cultural heritage in life through the various efforts of local cultural heritage education.

  • This study suggests that multicultural education should not be limited to educational sites such as kindergartens. Since the multicultural attitudes and consciousness of young children are unconsciously acquired through parents' words and school education, they emphasized the implementation of multicultural education at home and kindergarten. In other words, multicultural education should not only be carried out in the field of education, but also in the homes of children. However, there are still few studies on multicultural education for parents. In this regard, this study highlights the importance of parents on multicultural education by examining the socio-economic status of parents with early childhood children and their actual experiences in multicultural education. To provide basic data.

  • The main purpose of this thesis is to research various theories in Cultural Education. It is to rebuild the value of home economics, and to demonstrate its potential to bring out a true human being. Until now, home economics education had been focused on developing ability to solve problems, only to fail us in training students to have ability to cope with different conditions in daily life by themselves. With the society rapidly changing, such a temporizing education system would lose its value immediately, and the identity of home economics education is at stake today. The present situation is resulted from the failure in approaching the culture education properly. With the fact that the elements of home economics are culture themselves. the failures in organizing and teaching the subject would urge us to rearrange curriculum of home economics. We need to bear in mind that the curriculum of home economics cannot contain every cultural value. A careful consideration is necessary in order to include the essence of the culture at the minimum quantity. Through analyzing different types of theories and methods of education in Cultural Education, this research is aimed at reviewing home economics education with its concept. Further study in the future should be proceeded with more comprehensive researches on instruction and learning methods with Cultural Education perspective, based on the analysis.

Exploratory factor analysis identified three dimensions(content, management, and resources) of education outcome evaluation, and the regression analysis revealed the factors of outcome evaluation influenced the education satisfaction positively. • In South Korea which has become a multicultural society, ethnic and cultural others have suffered from discrimination against them and isolation from society. Multicultural policies and multicultural public education have simply focused on the assimilation of cultural others without providing opportunities to build a reciprocal relationship between Kor eans and cultural others. Noting this reality, this paper proposes intercultural Christian education as a prophetic and educational role of faith communities in society. Intercultural education, intercultural theology, Miroslav Volf's drama of embrace, and Sang-Jin Park's theory of the ecosystem of Christian education offer theoretical foundations for intercultural Christian education. Based on these foundations, the paper discusses the definition and goal of intercultural Christian education and argues for the roles of intercultural Christian education to help Christ ians "SEE" the self, the other, and the community through self-reflection, embrace, and ecological transformation. As intercultural Christian education pursues to nurture Christians to have a respectful and hospitable mindset toward cultural others, such education will help faith communities seek a multi-colored kingdom of God.
