Since the Media law recently passed, the media's influence has further enhanced than before. To change fragmentary and unsystematic media education system having been implemented to more professional, systematic and concrete, it is proposed that 3 systematic courses media literacy course, media story telling course and media production course should be implemented.

Data science is a discipline comprised of the academic fields of statistics, computer science, information technology, and domain knowledge. It analyzes data and derives meaningful results using complex technologies. Data science, along with artificial intelligence, is a core technology of the 4th industrial revolution; consequently, universities and companies worldwide are actively developing programs to develop data scientists who require high levels of expertise. In line with this undertaking, the field of elementary education has recognized the importance of data science education and so various studies have been conducted to develop curricula designed to help students understand how to use data. This paper proposes a curriculum for the purpose of educating elementary school teachers who are mostly non-majors in the computer field about data science. Satisfaction analysis was conducted based on questionnaires collected from students to analyze the effectiveness of the data science education proposed in this paper.
PCK(pedagogical content knowledge) has been frequently discussed in the field of subject matter education as well as education in general. Considering the fact that PCK characterizes teacher professionalism, and the distinction of mathematics education from neighboring disciplines, PCK is one of the core concepts in the discourse of mathematics education. This study focused on KCS(knowledge of content and students) among the areas of PCK. The purpose of this study to investigate the KCS of pre-service teachers attending a private university located in Seoul. An in-depth interview with 30 pre-service teachers was conducted in a semi-structured manner, using four questions dealing with common student errors, students' understanding of content, and student developmental sequences. The pre-service teachers gave mathematical answers while in others they gave priority to pedagogical considerations. The implication drawn from the interview data is that the teacher training program should fully reflect the complexity of mathematical concepts which appeared in school mathematics over several grade levels and content areas.

In the case of knowledge, the Special Education Act on the Disabled, etc. and knowledge on behavioral modification took precedence. Skill showed high frequency of observation-record, parental interviews and parental education skills. Attitudes as experts and administrators took priority. The results of this job analysis can help organize a curriculum to train early childhood special education teachers with high job competency in universities.
The purpose of this study is to analyze current recruiting examination and to categorize and construct test item that assess a variety of Mechanic Metal teachers in technical high school for appointing new Mechanic Metal teacher. The future developmental directions in this study are as follows: First, the examination for appointing secondary school new Mechanic Metal Teacher reflects the curriculum of the teacher education and technical high school, must be nomalize. Second, the rational readjustment of the basic necessary subjects for Machinery Metal recruiting examination is required. Third, the Mechanic Metal recruiting examination must prepare the criteria for the domain ratio of presenting problems and improve with level of presenting the question items which demands a knowledge, application and critical thinking. Fourth, in order to avoid the bias of the some subject tendency with committee making questions of different domain, more participation of a committee making questions is required. Fifth, the practical evaluation must be executed by the effective method to be able to make up for the limit of paper and pencil tests Sixth, as the long-term prospect to secure the professionalism of teacher, the recruiting examination of teachers must be carried out with the Machinery and Metal subject, respectively.
Education researchers have been continuously interested in the teacher's ability to design lessons and conducted various studies in order to improve the teacher's professionalism in determining the quality of school instruction. So, this study explored the change of instructional design through the lesson reflection of pre-service mathematics teachers who participated in practicum settings. As a result, in the lesson plan prepared by pre-service mathematics teachers, the motivation to induce learning in the introduction stage, to present the learning contents in the development stage, and to reconstruct the formative evaluation of the closing stage was the highest rate. And the categories of the reconstructed contents appeared intensively in terms of curriculum contents and teaching and learning methods. This result can be attributed to the lack of experience in designing and performing lessons by pre-service mathematics teachers, so it suggests that the opportunity to design and conduct classes that take into account the practical aspects of education should be provided in the preparation process for pre-service mathematics teachers.

The purpose of this study is to derive implications of preservice mathematics teacher education in Korea by analyzing the case of edTPA used in the preservice teacher training process in the United States. Recently, there has been a growing interest in promoting professional competencies considering not only the cognitive dimension related to knowledge development of preservice mathematics teachers but also the situational dimension considering reality in the classroom. The edTPA in the United States is a performance-based assessment based on lessons conducted by preservice teachers at school. This study analyzes the professional competencies required of preservice mathematics teachers by analyzing handbooks that described the case of edTPA in which preservice mathematics teachers in the United States participate. The edTPA includes planning, instruction, and assessment tasks, and continuous tasks are performed in connection with classes. Thus, the analysis is conducted on the points of linkage between the description of evaluation items and criteria in the planning, instruction, and assessment tasks, as well as the professional competencies required from that linkage. As a result of analyzing the edTPA handbooks, the professional competencies required of preservice mathematics teachers in the edTPA assessment were the competency to focus on and implement specific mathematics lessons, the competency to reflectively understand the implementation and assessment of specific mathematics lessons, and the competency to make a progressive determination of students' achievement related to their learning and their uses of language and representations. The results of this analysis can be used as constructs for competencies that can be assessed in the preservice in the organization of the preservice mathematics teacher curriculum and practice training semester system in Korea.

Two beginning teachers and two experienced teachers participated in the study. In order to analyze characteristics of PCK before class, interviews and survey research were conducted. An investigation of classroom discourse was used to examine how the PCK characteristics appear in classrooms. Results show that experiences teachers enacted their PCK about learner, curriculum, teaching methods, and teaching environment in classrooms, whereas beginning teachers could not show their PCK. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of first aid programs(FAP) on the knowledge and will to cope with emergency situations, and to suggest the effective FAP for child care teachers by analyzing the needs of FAP. The subjects of this study were 159 child care teachers who received upgrading education. The results of the study are as follows. First, child care teachers have a willingness to cope with emergency situations. and child care teachers who were not able to do were caused by the burden of legal liability and lack of confidence in first aid techniques. Second, teachers who received FAP showed higher knowledge about first aid knowledge. Third, the type of FAP desired by the child care teachers showed the most favored type of whole practice. Fourth, the contents of FAP desired by child care teachers were CPR, airway obstruction, burn treatment and temperature related symptoms. In this study, FAP is needed in the process of child care teacher training. FAP should be practice-oriented education, and the contents of FAP should be structured based on the needs of child care teachers.
