Confucian ideologies formed a unique spatial order in the spatial composition of seowon architecture. Confucian scholars viewed ancient China as the ideal society, so they tried to apply the "Myochim" theory, the architectural system of the time, to the Joseon society. However, it was not easy to apply ancient architectural ideas in Joseon in the 16th century. Therefore, various opinions were presented by scholars to establish the relationship between Joseon alone. Unlike the Ki-ho school application of this theory, the construction of Seowon was done according to ancient principles from a practical standpoint, there were fewer experiments for actual application in Yeong-nam school. This was a pragmatic attitude that presupposes a clear difference between the ancient Chinese system and the reality of Joseon in the 17th century.

To prepare for and implement policies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is characterized by convergence, super-connectivity, and AI, this study summarized the effects and characteristics of individual technologies on our society and discussed the issues with humanity and social science perspectives. As a result, in terms of AI technology, the issues of job losses, project-type works, basic income and robot taxes, accountability of AI, and algorithm inequality were dealt with. Security, cyber hacking and privacy infringement issues were highlighted in big-data technology. In the part of block-chain and bioengineering, the society of decentralization, the concentration, digital divide, and ethical issues were discussed. On-demand economic aspects highlighted the problems of civil ethics and human commercialization. Lastly, the development of VR is discussed including side effects such as cyber-syndrom, avoidance of reality, and so on.

Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, Jakarta's Ex-Governor, lost his re-election bid in 2017 and then was jailed on a charge of blasphemy. After his defeat, the rhetorics of Indonesian politics was divided into two opposing sides: anti-Communism and 'pribumi' of the radical Islamic movements and Pancasila of the Jokowi administration. Although Islamic political parties are now preoccupied with their own coalitional politics and survivals, rather than solidarity of Islamic forces, the rising Islamic sentiments confirmed by the Jakarta election indicate that religion will continue to be a key variable in Indonesian politics. Meanwhile, ex-military generals who declared themselves as candidates in the 2018 regional election and the 2019 presidential election, as well as a few measures used by the Jokowi administration against extra-parliamentary political opponents, remind us of Suharto's New Order. Steady growth continues in economy. The raise of minimum wage enlarged middle classes and led to a decline of the poverty rate. Jokowi's commitment to building infrastructure has made tangible achievements. Under these circumstances, enhanced cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea is laudable, though any such cooperation must fully incorporate local sociocultural contexts, such as the strengthened halal certification system.

This paper study about the Perception of Orient in Huangseong-Shinmun(皇城新聞). The Orient as a Non-Western is recognized as a geographical concept which represented Japanized culture and which breaked up Sinocentrism. Huangseong-Shinmun thought Korea, China, and Japan as the main countries which constitute Orient. And this paper regarded these three countries which is Yellow race are main area which countervail Western. Especially this paper thought Japan as the leading power which fulfilled Oriental peace. So Huangseong-Shinmun theorized nations of the same race, region and language(同種同州同文論). But Orientalism is just means which Japan used to rationalized the imperialistic invasion. Nevertheless Huangseong-Shinmun thought that periods are the era of racial competition. This is the limit Huangseong-Shinmun did'nt recognize the strategy which Japan concealed the imperialistic invasion.

Jang, Hyeon-Guang is one of the representative natural philosophers of Joseon Korea. This article aims to investigate the meaning of the factors of Xiangshuxue(象數學) contained in his cosmology. Xiangshuxue applies Image(Xiang), Numeral(Shu) and In-Yang to present the distinctions, inter-relations and time-series orders of things. Jang's cosmology, combined with Xiangshuxue, insisted that Li(Principle) is infinite in time and space, the cosmos is finite on the other side. This assures that the moral principle is absolute and eternal. Jang emphasized the book I-ching as the criterion and the model in understanding the nature. This restrained the objectivizm of Shaoyong and made his concept 'natural law' difficult to change itself as the experience and the knowledge expand. None the less, his cosmology is appraised in that it strengthened natural philosophical basis of neo-confucianism and preceded the cosmological investigations since mid-Joseon dynasty.

The purpose of this paper is to ccompare and analyze North Korean cyber attacks and our responses by government, from the Roh Moo-hyun administration to the Moon Jae-in administration. The current conflict of interests on the Korean peninsula, such as the United States, China, and Russia, is leading to a conflict for the leadership of a new world order in cyberspace. Cyber attacks are accelerating and threats are rising. Cyber threats exhibit several characteristics. Above all, it is difficult to identify or track the subject of the threat. Also, with the development of information and communication technology, attack technology has become more intelligent, and it is not easy to prepare a means to respond. Therefore, it is necessary to improve continuous and preemptive response capacity for national cybersecurity, and to establish governance among various actors, such as international cooperation between countries or private experts.

The film House of Hummingbird intersects Korean modern history and personal history through the eyes of a teenage girl, and closely explores how patriarchy and Korean capitalism leave traces and internal impressions on the growing up of the female subject. This film is a meaningful text in terms of showing what changes can occur when the subject is transformed from a boy to a girl in the narrative of growth and when a feminist point of view is entered. House of Hummingbird reveals the weakness of the patriarchal symbolic order through the gaze of a teenage girl in the episodic narrative composition, and also discovers the possibility of close relationships and bonds between women in the gaps. In particular, Yeong-ji, the main character girl Eun-hee's Chinese language school lecturer, is a new female character that has never been seen in Korean teenage films. As a result, in House of Hummingbird, we meet a new female subject who negotiates the pain of growth in a 'good enough' condition.

In recent years, the space sector has been changing rapidly. The militarization of outer space is openly underway. On the other hand, space commercialization by private capital called "Newspace" is emerging in the U.S. Additionally, the Artemis project, a manned space moon exploration project, is being resumed 50 years after the end of the Apollo program. Eventually, the commercial use of space resources is actively being discussed. Due to the rapidly developing space technologies, the U.N. Space Treaty, enacted in 1967, has established the norms and principles of space activities. However, it may be nearing the end of its life. To confront the challenges of a new space era, Korea must engage in various legal and policy studies to meet these changes.

How an organization communicates to relevant stake-holders in a crisis is critical to gain continued social acceptance and legitimacy. In this paper, we examine the evolution of crisis communication strategies by the Arts Council Korea(ARKO) in response to the Blacklist case that unfolded from 2017 through 2019. In doing so, we focused on the 'Pop-up Theater case', where ARKO officials had exercised their discretion to have the play produced by theater artists be discontinued because they had viewed that the play was engendering the imagery of the Sewol-Ho tragedy. Using a case study methodology, we follow a series of events that occurred during this crisis management process, analyzing three apologies issued by the ARKO. In doing so, we draw on Hearit (2006)'s crisis management theory to evaluate how ARKO's crisis communication was managed. Overall, our study highlights that without incorporating truthfulness and sincerity congruent with stakeholder expectations, an organization's crisis communication is likely to be less successful.

The purpose of this study is to examine the progress of negotiations between the two countries regarding the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting on October 4, 1983, as well as the opposition of domestic public opinion, which emerged as an important variable in the negotiation process. Through this, it was intended to lay the foundation for the historical facts necessary to interpret the negotiation process between the two countries over the implementation of AFKN's satellite broadcasting in the context of world history of cultural globalization. As a research method, the historical literature research method was used, focusing on archive documents stored in diplomatic archives. The study revealed that public opinion's movement toward cultural imperialism under domestic political conditions, which had authoritarian control over the media, served as an accidental factor to help carry out the regime's interests of regime protection. Through these findings, this paper interpreted that AFKN-TV's satellite broadcasting, which was implemented under the U.S. Department of Defense plan without the prior consent of the Korean government, clearly shows that Korea has been "semi-forced" into the U.S.-led cultural globalization order.
