Development of Deterioration Model for Cracks in Asphalt Pavement Using Deep Learning-Based Road Asset Monitoring System (딥러닝 기반의 도로자산 모니터링 시스템을 활용한 아스팔트 도로포장 균열률 파손모델 개발)

  • In this study, a road pavement crack deterioration model was developed for a pavement road sections of the Sejong-city. Data required for model development were acquired using a deep learning-based road asset monitoring system. Road pavement monitoring was conducted on the same sections in 2021 and 2022. The developed model was analyzed by dividing it into a method for estimating the annual average amount of deterioration and a method based on Bayesian Markov Mixture Hazard model. As a result of the analysis, it was found that an analysis results similar to the crack deterioration model developed based on the data acquired from the Automatic pavement investigation equipmen was derived. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data by local governments to establish road management plans.

  • Currently, large-scale and deep-depth excavation construction is being carried out in the vicinity of structures due to overdensity in urban areas in Korea. It is very important to secure the safety of retaining structures and underground structures for adjacent excavation work in urban areas. The safety of facilities is managed by introducing an automated measurement system. However, the utilization of the results of the automated measurement system is very low. Conventional evaluation techniques rely only on the maximum value of the measured data, and can overestimate abnormal behavior. In this study, we intend to improve the analysis technique for the automation measurement results. In order to identify abnormal behavior of facilities, a time-series analysis method for automated measurement data was presented. By applying a probability statistical analysis technique to a vast amount of data, highly reliable results were derived. In this study, the analysis method and evaluation method that can process the vast amount of data of facilities have been improved.

  • This paper evaluates seismic capacities of slab-column joints in flat plate system which has columns with various aspect ratio as experimental parameters. Continuous - bended shear reinforcements were applied for the prevention of punching shear failure in this study. The specimens of FIS1-05, FIS1-10, and FIS1-20 have the aspect ratio of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 respectively. Static lateral force was applied to the specimens in a horizontal direction and vertical load was applied by constant gravity load ratio. The test results were evaluated by lateral displacement and strength of slab-column joint. Consequently, the lateral resisting capacity of rectangular type column such as FIS1-05, FIS1-20 is superior to the square type column such as FIS1-10.

A Study on Development of Land Informatization Methodology (토지정보화 방법론의 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The land informatization methodology is the system development methodology that can be applied to the land information system to construct, manage and use the land information. Therefore, understanding of development methodology of information system and special conditions regarding the land informatization is very important. In order to enhance the understanding of land informatization, we tried various analyses on the previous land information systems developed in KOREA(PBLIS, LMIS, KLIS, KRAS) first. Then, we make a basic system development methodology to fit the land information reference model based on EA(Enterprise Architecture) and components based system. In addition, we investigate various problems or issues that occurred during the process of 30years' experience in KOREA land informatization. At last, we construct the detailed land informatization methodology which was added the method how to tasks to be carried out in each stage to solve those issues. It is the unique land informatization methodology having the most of the distinct characteristics of land information.

A Study on Employee Reward in Construction Companies Using Activity-Based Costing (활동기준원가계산을 이용한 건설기업의 직원 보상에 관한 연구)

  • For construction companies to become competitive innovative, cost management as well as process improvement are required. Activity-based costing (ABC), which uses cost information to support long-term decision-making, is a tool that enhances a company's competitiveness. In this study, we compare and analyze tradition-based costing (TBC) and ABC to confirm the adequacy of performance-based costing. In addition, we will empirically examine the relationship between the impact of the reward system using ABC on employee satisfaction and involvement. In research results, the influence of the reward system on employee involvement appeared in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.338) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.308). In addition, the reward system showed positive (+) effects on employee satisfaction, with influence appearing in the order of intrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.360) and extrinsic reward (𝛽 = 0.337). And employee satisfaction (𝛽 = 0.225) had a positive effect on involvement. We were able to confirm that it is necessary to build a reward system consisting of intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to increase employee satisfaction and involvement.

Hydrological Evaluation Design Factors Setting of Green Roof System Based on Model(K-LIDM) (모형을 기반으로 한 옥상녹화시스템의 수문학적 평가 설계인자 설정)

  • 급격한 도시화와 기후변화로 인해 기존 물순환 체계가 왜곡됨에 따라 저영향개발(Low Impact Development) 기법의 필요성이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. LID 요소 중 하나인 옥상녹화는 국내에 도입이 많이 되었고 적정 설계인자를 설정하기 위해 지속적으로 연구를 수행하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 옥상녹화 설계인자의 설정과 수문·식생·토양을 고려한 시나리오 구축을 통해 국내 물순환 모형인 K-LIDM을 이용하여 옥상녹화의 정량적 물순환 효율성 분석을 수행하였다. 대상유역은 한국 그린인프라 저영향개발센터 내 옥상녹화 실험장으로 옥상녹화에서 계측하고 있는 측정값을 기반으로 K-LIDM 모형 검보정을 수행하고 옥상녹화의 설계인자에 따른 시나리오를 통해 수문학적 성능평가를 수행하였다. 단기강우 시나리오를 적용하였을 때 옥상녹화는 일반콘트리트 옥상에 비해 5.25 ~ 36.48%의 유출저감률이 산정되었으며, 유출저감 한계효율은 지속시간 60분, 120분, 180분 일 때 각각 8.93%, 6.17%, 5.25%로 산정되었다. 장기강우 시나리오를 적용하였을 때는 연평균 53.54%의 유출저감률이 산정되었다. 또한 토심의 증가에 따른 유출량 감소는 관목>교목>지피 식물 순으로 나타났으며, 토심이 1cm 증가할 때의 저감유출랴은 지피 식물의 경우 0.0002㎥/s, 교목의 경우 0.0005㎥/s, 관목의 경우 0.0008㎥/s로 나타났다. 옥상녹화는 건물 설계에 따른 적재하중과 환경조건, 식물선정, 생육에 많은 영향을 받는 기술요소이므로 다양한 시나리오를 통한 수문학적 성능평가가 필요시 된다. 본 연구결과는 정량적 옥상녹화시스템 효율성 검증을 실시하기 위한 옥상녹화 설계가이드라인에서 고려사항을 제시할 수 있는 기준이 될 것이라고 기대된다.

Evaluation of Waterway Dredging Work using Spud Dredge Process Management System (스퍼드 준설선 공정관리시스템을 이용한 항로준설작업의 평가)

  • The most important point when we engage on waterway dredging work is supplying safe navigational passage to the vessels underway by narrowing dredge work area and removing submerged dangers. In order to meet this end it is necessary to use auxiliary equipment for shifting actively and mooring and adopt automation of dredging work by integrating information on real time position, dredging depth, and work information. The dredger with a spud control system in this study, by the way, is able to employed on continuous dredging work with the narrowest working area allowing wide and safe passages to vessels underway, by moving the dredger to the working zone with the spud controlled automatically. Furthermore, it has been improved definitely compared with the existing dredging process management system such that it shows the track of spud and working depth on the electronic navigation chart of window, together with the final outcome of dredging work. The test dredging work at the entrance of Busan North Port for system evaluation showed that actual working time available was twice of the one by the existing anchor system, and that it reduced $38\%$ of time for preparation work and one man power.

Development of Crack Detection System for Highway Tunnels using Imaging Device and Deep Learning (영상장비와 딥러닝을 이용한 고속도로 터널 균열 탐지 시스템 개발)

  • In order to efficiently inspect rapidly increasing old tunnels in many well-developed countries, many inspection methodologies have been proposed using imaging equipment and image processing. However, most of the existing methodologies evaluated their performance on a clean concrete surface with a limited area where other objects do not exist. Therefore, this paper proposes a 6-step framework for tunnel crack detection deep learning model development. The proposed method is mainly based on negative sample (non-crack object) training and Cascade Mask R-CNN. The proposed framework consists of six steps: searching for cracks in images captured from real tunnels, labeling cracks in pixel level, training a deep learning model, collecting non-crack objects, retraining the deep learning model with the collected non-crack objects, and constructing final training dataset. To implement the proposed framework, Cascade Mask R-CNN, an instance segmentation model, was trained with 1561 general crack images and 206 non-crack images. In order to examine the applicability of the trained model to the real-world tunnel crack detection, field testing is conducted on tunnel spans with a length of about 200m where electric wires and lights are prevalent. In the experimental result, the trained model showed 99% precision and 92% recall, which shows the excellent field applicability of the proposed framework.

  • Construction dispute about Extension of Time are complexly intertwined with various issues. The duration delay analysis defines the impact the issue has on the duration variation. And The international court and the arbitrator use the results of the analysis as a basis for reasonable duration judging. However, most of the domestic Construction sites have not established a business process for Extension of Time litigation. Therefore, Analysis data are collected after the occurrence of the dispute, there is not enough basic data of analysis almost. This study sought to improve the management efficiency by organizing information requirement for delay analysis and suggesting a reasonable business process. As a result of applying the proposed process to actual construction duration extension disputes, about 33% of practitioners, 46% of contractors, and 48% of legal advisors were satisfied with the process application site And Matrix validation was 91% identical. This study suggests that it is possible to increase the efficiency of the construction duration analysis work used as a basis in the construction dispute. Finally, the Computer based system design for this process should continue in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to study how to draw up a safety guarantee certificate and its future expected effects in connection with the Industrial Safety and Health Act as it becomes mandatory to draw up a safety guarantee led by the owner who exercises practical decision-making authority and pays for the construction work. Therefore, Therefore, this study predicts the expected effects of the health and safety guarantee on the construction industry and the weaknesses that future health and assurance have in settling in the construction industry in relation to the revised Act on Industrial Safety and Health. And It will be used as basic data on the changes that will be brought by the shipper-led preemptive safety and health management system, as well as strengthening responsibilities and safety for the role of the shipper in the construction industry.
