The Importance-Satisfaction Analysis of Service Quality in University (대학교육 서비스품질의 중요도-만족도 분석 연구)

  • Purpose: To increase the competitiveness of the university and improve the quality of education by providing education services that meet the student's satisfaction needs based on the education service quality survey of university students. Methods: A questionnaire consisting of 6 elements and 38 questions was prepared and students were surveyed. The importance and satisfaction ISA analysis was conducted. Results: The results of this study are as follows; there was a difference in the perception of importance and satisfaction by student characteristics regarding the results of educational service quality measurement. Working students need an extra effort in the educational environment and foreign students in student services. Conclusion: The importance of educational service quality-satisfaction survey should be used to identify the factors of educational service quality by student characteristics to improve student satisfaction, improve the quality of education, and support educational services with a strategic approach.

  • 캠퍼스 중심의 정규 대학 연구가 급격히 감소될 것으로 예상되면서 대학도 매우 치열한 경쟁 체계를 벗어 날 수 없게 되었다. 이에 다양한 매체를 적용하는 학습방법과 학생의 개념을 다양화하려는 대학들의 노력이 강화됨에 따라 대학 서비스의 핵심인 교육서비스와 행정서비스에 대한 품질 향상은 매우 중요한 과제가 되었다. 본 연구는 대학 서비스의 핵심 중 하나인 행정 서비스를 중심으로 서비스 제공자가 인식한 서비스 품질과 서비스 이용자가 인식한 서비스 품질의 수준이 직무 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 분석하였다 또한 서비스 제공자가 인식하는 서비스 제공 품질과 서비스 이용자가 인식한 서비스 사용 품질에 관한 두 인식의 차이를 고찰하였다.

A study on the satisfaction and learning effect using e-portfolio in liberal arts programming classes (교양 프로그래밍 수업에서 e-포트폴리오를 활용한 만족도와 학습 효과에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, an e-portfolio system was constructed and utilized to communicate with students, while processing the overall procedure of teaching-learning activities as data for qualitative improvement in the non-face-to-face educational environment. The e-portfolio system was designed to support the entire process of reflection from the instructor's lesson planning, regular checking of the learner's understanding during the course operation process, online communication, and support for learner-centered educational activities. Analyzing the effectiveness of the communication-based learning effect between instructors and learners using the e-portfolio in liberal arts programming classes, which may be difficult for non-major students, a significant correlation was found in problem-solving skills, and midterm and final exams. Additionally, the result of analyzing the expanded applicability of e-portfolio satisfaction demonstrated a significant correlation with the students' computational thinking ability, test results, assignments, and academic performance. It was found to have a significant effect on the improvement of computational thinking ability. If non-face-to-face education is conducted using the proposed e-portfolio system type, it will be possible to improve the quality of online education, while communicating effectively with students.

Developing Measurements of University Satisfaction using Public Customer Satisfaction Index (공공기관 고객만족지수를 이용한 대학의 고객만족 측정도구 개발)

  • With the higher competition of university environment, universities has been adapted Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). However, the problem of CSI focuses on score and ranking announcement. In public sectors, PCSI model is used because of increasing its strategic utilization by providing diagnosis of the phenomenon and direction for future improvement through causal model analysis. The purpose of this research is to develop a measurements of university satisfaction using PCSI. This research demonstrates validity and reliability of PCSI using test-retest method using multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. The results of this research indicate that the reliability and validity of the PCSI model is verified. Service product quality, service delivery quality, environment quality and social quality have positive effects on customer satisfaction. In turn, customer satisfaction have positve effects on university performance and social performance. In conclusion, service quality, PCSI, and service performance are clarified to be appropriate components of the satisfaction survey. These results can be used to measure the satisfaction level of education at actual universities. It is expected that practical basic data can be obtained to improve the quality of university education.

Factors Influencing Performance of e-Learning in Hair Salons (헤어 살롱의 이러닝 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • This study aims to provide self-development opportunities to hair salons service workers through e-learning and provide the foundation of sustainable hair salons management by cultivating good talents to hair salons service business executives. In particular, the factors affecting e-learning achievement are identified according to learner characteristics to see whether these factors affect the satisfaction of e-learning learners and also affect the performance of management. The results of the study are summarized as follows. As a result of hypotheses testing on the relationship between e-learning learning environment and e-learning satisfaction, it was found that the higher the level of e-learning content quality is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is, and that the higher the quality level of the support infrastructure is, the higher the satisfaction of e-learning is. The results of the hypotheses testing on the moderating effect of learner factors showed that the influence of the quality of the support infrastructure on the e-learning satisfaction differs according to the level of the learner's goal consciousness. However, it was found that the influence of content quality on e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the learners goal awareness, the influence of content quality on e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the aggressiveness of the learners learning attitude, and the influence of the quality of the support infrastructure on the e-learning satisfaction according to the level of the aggressiveness of learners learning attitude were found to identically demonstrate no moderating effects. The results of hypotheses testing on the relationships among e-Learning performance show that the higher the satisfaction of e-learning was, the higher the customer orientation was, and the higher the satisfaction of e-learning was, the higher the contribution of management performance was, and the higher the customer orientation was, the higher the contribution of management performance was. The implications of this study are as follows. First, the actual path of realiting e-learning performance could be identified that is this study provided organizational decision makers involved in the hair salons service operations with practical guidance for the introduction and expansion of successful educational systems. Second, the e-learning environment derived from the theoretical background is different from the e-learning environment required by the learners.

  • Recently, our interests are growing up the local food with global food's internationalization. Our interest about local food is increasing with agricultural crises and food safety. And this research will study how the local food cultural experience effect to local food's customer satisfaction and customer royalty. This study analyze customer who experienced the local food cultural experience. And we follow Pine & Gilmore's theory. They proposed the experience economic theory, which proposed 5 factors to analyze customer. Those are educational experience, emotional experience, entertaining experience, escaping experience, and physical experience. We select two factors, which are entertaining experience and physical experience. And we will study the customer satisfaction and royalty of the perceived customer by the two experienced factors. Especially, we analyze the local food policy, cultural factors related with local food, and customer's perceived value effect, and then, we will figure out the correlations among factors, propose the policy implications related with local food cultural experience and economic value creations of rural economy.

  • We recognize call centers as a interface frequently interacting with clients, and as the first portal of enterprises promoting customer satisfaction and increasing the rate of customer maintenance. The importance of service quality in call centers is gradually enlarged, as criteria for competitive power of enterprises, and the first-line interface of communications with customers in operating method and business management. Also, Enhancing service quality is the first task of both the management and telemarketers in order to adapt to the customer's requirement level. The curriculum for telemarketer education is not established or standardized within the country yet. We must therefore study on it as soon as possible, though it has a short history and insufficient theoretics. In this paper, we descirbe the development of a formal telemarketer education program in call centers included the result that analyze existing educational programs, and the opinion of call centers.

  • Design and management of information and industrial engineering (DMIIE) is a project-oriented junior/senior class that integrates the methodologies of industrial and information engineering in order to solve real-world problems. It examines social issues, engineering approaches to solve the problems and business models that can generate sustainable value for society. This course help students use their engineering knowledge to assess and solve the problems faced by local community. By conducting real-world projects, students get an opportunity to refine their oral and written communication skills. In this paper, the experience of DMIIE course is presented. The effects of the community-based learning for a senior design course are discussed. The possibility of using this blended type of design course to meet the ABEEK outcomes is also stated.

A Study on Life Change and Leisure Satisfaction by Reduction of Working Hours of Office Workers (직장인의 근로시간 단축에 따른 생활변화와 여가만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study is a study on the change of life and leisure satisfaction caused by the reduction of working hours of office workers, summarizing the results of the analysis as follows: First, the change in the working hours of office workers was found to be men (42.4 percent), but women (54.7 percent) had a high increase in personal satisfaction, monthly income of 2 to 3 million won 96.1 percent, and personal satisfaction increased in small and medium-sized cities and towns. Second, leisure satisfaction due to shorter working hours was somewhat high in monthly income of 3 million won to 4 million won (43.6%) and more than 6 million won (39.1%), but there was no change in leisure satisfaction by gender, age, academic background, number of family members, marital status, worker status and region. The revitalization of leisure is a very important task in personal life, but it is meaningful in that it provided implications for socializing leisure as leisure satisfaction is positively spreading in life changes.

Factors Affecting the Learning Flow of Health Science Students Taking Online Classes due to COVID-19 (코로나 19 (COVID-19)로 인해 온라인 전공 수업을 경험한 보건계열 대학생의 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study investigates the relationships among academic stress, learning satisfaction, and learning flow of the health science college students who take online classes in college. The subjects were 129 students and the data were collected from November 15th, 2020 to December 22th, 2020 using a self-report structured questionnaire. The data analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression. As a result of this study, academic stress showed a negative correlation between learning satisfaction (r=.-78, p<.001) and learning flow (r=.-70, p<.001). And learning satisfaction showed a positive correlation between learning flow (r=.71, p<.001). In the results of multiple regression analysis, factors influencing the learning flow of students were amount of assignments in online classes, number of online practice courses completed in the last semester, academic stress, and learning satisfaction. All of these variables together explained 59.0%. Therefore, in order to increase learning flow in online classes, strategies to reduce academic stress and development of various educational programs are required.
