A component-based construction process control system for increasing modifiability (변경 용이성 증대를 위한 컴포넌트 기반의 건설공정관리시스템)

  • The construction process and safety management are an important means of the total projects for the decision-making. As an important management tool of cost, resources and risks of the project, the analysis and evaluations are recorded as an important asset of company. Also, it has become a safety device that could reduce risk factors repeatedly by the decision-making methods for the future similar projects. Component-based software, by reusing the useful part, which was prepared without newly developing all that, by building a new software product, the long-term continuous/steady through the provision of a component-based software, by securing a sales base, it should be the development and supply a wide range of applications. In this paper, we propose the construction process control systems for increasing modifiability of process creation and modification for business efficiency in accordance with the diverse trends in the construction process as a low-cost niche through a component-based software supplier to solve these problems.

  • 본 논문은 3차원 ELS 모델과 건설 프로젝트 관리 프로그램을 이용한 해체 공정을 기계식공법으로 해체하는 구조물에 적용한 사례이다. 해체 공정 설계를 위한 3차원 ELS 모델은 도면 및 현장 조사 통해 부재별 크기와 배근 정보를 확인하여 모델링하였다. 완성된 3차원 모델을 건설 프로젝트 관리 프로그램인 Bexel manager에 적용하여 부재 별 해체 공정을 설계하였다. 설계된 해체 공정은 기계식공법으로 해체하는 구조물에 적용하였고, 해체결과 작업 별 작업동선을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있었으며, 안전하게 해체를 완료하였다.

  • Last Planner System (LPS) developed by Lean Construction Institute consists of four steps: Master Schedule, Phase Schedule, Lookahead Planning and Weekly Work Plan. This paper focuses on the process of measuring Percent of Plan Completed (PPC) at the Weekly Work Plan stage. PPC means the percentage of weekly assignments completed. According to the results of the researches that deal with PPC from many other countries, we can assure the benefits of using PPC. However, the concept of PPC is unfamiliar in Korea construction industry. This paper analyzes the cases in which PPC is applied in other countries and compares them with the production control system in Korean construction industry. The results of this research will provide the time management system for using PPC in Korea.

  • Purpose of this study is to suggest some modules to integrate schedule and change control. The study has been performed through the process of literature review, effect comparison of being not integrated and integrated of the schedule and change control, and finally suggest new integrated modules. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Suggestion of a Predicted Change Information Control Module: This nodule can be used to assess the impact of changes in advance and to prepare counteraction. 2) Suggestion of a Change Information Control Module: This module is used to update current schedule for the realized changes. 3) Suggestion of a Revision History Maintenance Module: This module is used to record schedule and cost revision history and to analyze the overall change trend.

  • "대가지급"은 시공자(계약상대자)가 계약의 이행을 통해 얻고자 하는 궁극적인 목적이므로 "대가지급"과 관련된 계약조건은 발주자와 시공자 모두에게 공정하고 합리적인 내용이 되어야 할 것인데 우리나라 건설계약에 적용되고 있는 "공사계약일반조건(회계예규 2200.04-104-9, 2001.2.10)"에 규정된 "대가지급" 관련 조항의 내용은 그러한 합리성이 결여되어 있는 문제점이 있다. 대표적인 문제점으로 발주자가 대가지급을 하지 못하거나 지연시키는 경우 지급지연에 따른 이자에 대한 보상규정만을 두고 있을 뿐인데 이는 국제건설계약에 적용되고 있는 계약조건에 규정된 시공자의 권리와는 너무도 큰 차이가 있다 할 것이다. 그러므로 본 고에서는 세계건설시장에서 공정성과 합리성을 인정받고 있는 FIDIC 계약조건에 규정된 "대가지급" 관련 조항의 내용들을 구체적으로 알아보고 이를 통해 우리나라 건설계약에 적용되고 있는 계약조건의 문제점을 파악함으로써 건설제도의 선진화에 일조 하고자 한다.

  • The EAC(Estimate at Completion) among existing methods, which estimate cost and time effectively, help managers anticipate changeable several results at the point of $15{\sim}30%$ in the project progress. However, this method may cause such some problems as not to consider the periodically changing circumstances caused by construction risks or uncertainties which can affect the cost and time in the project, and to regard collected and accumulated data only as a single value when predicting the results on the progress. Accordingly, it is very difficult to accept the even small range of variability based on the anticipation of EAC. Consequently, the study focuses on the possibility methodology to anticipate time and cost accurately on the way to utilize EVMS(Earned Value Management System), and also suggest the way to perform the right estimation of EAC as considering various risks and uncertainties in construction projects.

  • Simulation has considerable potential as the tool of construction management, but in the case of domestic, it is at an early stage applying simulation to micro-process assesment. For applying simulation to the construction process, much effort is needed to collect input data and to build the model including the characteristics of site. This study introduces the methodology to collect operation data of construction equipment and build the simulation model, then verifies the model with the operation data. In addition, this study identifies main factors to determine the cycle time of the muck hauling system so that it suggests the method of construction process planning through operation and combination of construction equipments.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a supporting tool for efficient management, at preconstruction phase, of the schedule risk that is able to generate at construction phase. The main contents of this study to develop a practical tool are as follows. First steel work was selected as a relevant trade and a risk breakdown structure focused on the process of steel work having large effect on total construction process was made. Secondly, the work flow considering schedule risk factor was made and schedule risks that must be managed preferentially through analyzing the grade of importance for risk was selected. Finally, based on above two procedure, the management form for schedule risk was developed It is necessary to accumulate abundant data for schedule risk for other construction process and to develop a manual and a schedule risk management system.

  • GS E&C had developed the construction management system, PMS which is based on EVMS in 1997. Recently, TPMS has developed for effective construction management through applying daily schedule management and JIT on material, labor, equipment focusing field work. TPMS realizes "Shielding" and "Make-Ready Process" which are the main concept of Lean construction. Through this system, it can manage and plan daily field work, support the field work related material, labor, and equipment planning, and minimizes the non-valuable process. This paper introduces the concept of TPMS, and through established system, it can lead the construction culture and raise the competitive power of construction industry
