In this study, we conducted classroom activities that are exploring and explaining visualized materials for problem solving of school mathematics with pre-service teachers in 2007~2009. After finishing these classroom activities, pre-service teachers recorded an afternote that includes changes of their thinking about mathematics and mathematics education through these activities in this study. We collected various opinions of pre-service mathematics teachers. From the analysis these data, we searched educational effects of our classroom activities. Through conducting the practice like these classroom activities of our study, pre-service mathematics teachers will have an opportunity of a practical training that supports the teaching of mathematical problem-solving. Moreover their PCK will be enhanced. Also, They will learn a good way to realize the aim of school mathematics curriculum.

This study reports a case where some university libraries played a major role in opening and educating information literacy Instruction as a general liberal arts course. The librarian of the university library, who was also the speaker of this study, participated in the overall operation, including the conducting of two classes lectures during the second semester as a professor. It also analyzed a survey of 43 students from 27 departments in the first semester of 2019 and 44 from 25 departments in the second semester to assess the pre- and post-education effects on the courses. As a result, statistically significant values were obtained in both semesters. This study, which aimed at providing materials for librarians at university libraries raises the need for liberal arts education that integrates information and media literacy, is expected to provide various implications for improving information literacy instruction programs in the future.

They have been indicating that they cannot make their new employees to be committed immediately to working and suggesting the need for development of the program for improving the undergraduate students' practical ability in the business of architectural engineering. Specifically, in case of local colleges and universities, it is relatively difficult to establish the relationship with local industries or institutes and get a chance to visit various construction sites and meet with experienced professionals. In this study, a new course in the business of architectural engineering is developed for improving the undergraduate students' practical ability. In addition, the class website is developed to provide multimedia educational materials for distance education. Surveys on the programs and course materials developed through this research study will be conducted periodically to improve them continuously. It will encourage their sustainable use.

In order to manage the lectures efficiently in the university and improve the educational outcome, the process is needed that make diagnosis of the present educational outcome of each classes on a lecture and find factors of educational outcome. In most studies for finding the factors of the efficient lecture, statistical methods such as association analysis, regression analysis are used usually, and recently decision tree analysis is employed, too. The decision tree analysis have the merits that is easy to understand a result model, and to be easy to apply for the decision making, but have the weaknesses that is not strong for characteristic of input data such as multicollinearity. This paper indicates the weaknesses of decision tree analysis, and suggests the experimental solution using multiple decision tree algorithm to supplement these problems. The experimental result shows that the suggested method is more effective in finding the reliable factors of the educational outcome.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of the use of them and the moves to strengthen home economics resources for school lifelong education for parents and local residents. This study conducted a systematic random sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to home economics teachers from 285 middle schools, 123 high schools, and 130 of them were sampled as the subjects of this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, home economics teachers were active participating school lifelong educational program. But according to the result of research on the actual condition, the proportion of taking part in it was low. More than half of home economics teachers who took part in program's lecturer were in charge of computer courses. So they didn't show their ability as expert. Also they were in charge of several works than roll of lecturers. It was mentioned too great a burden. There is little in-service training for meeting specialization for school lifelong education. They wanted to take part of lecturers of program and preferred hours of being over class. More than half of them had intended to obtain a lifelong educator's license. The part of elective courses for obtaining a lifelong educator's license is similar to home economics educational contents. So, they have an advantage of obtaining it. Second, one-fifth of school that gave school life education carried out program of related home economics. Mostly they had mothers of students-oriented programs on artistic and leisure. But this is that home economics teachers mentioned less important teaching at society in the future. They importantly mentioned program on children's education in now and the future. Parents of students and local residents also extremely wanted it. For differentiated school life education, quality of programs is important greatly. Third, the actual condition of practical room relating home economics is only practice to cook mostly. So they are reluctant to be open it because of being responsible for the results from using there. It is necessary to ameliorate there's facilities and to increase there's area. Fourth, home economics teachers want to improve their specialization through in-service training, to develop and diffuse programs of superior quality, and to get extra pay for overtime from the government.

Recently student portfolio is widely used as an evaluation method for self-directed performance in engineering education of the university. Especially, as many of the Innovation Centers for Engineering Education and ABEEK held student portfolio competitions, a lot of students in engineering college participate in student portfolio includes the contents and careers of the entire process of university. However, except for courses related to capstone design, there are few regular courses applied to Learning Portfolio in engineering education. Through using Learning Portfolio in courses, students take opportunities of organized collection of learning contents and critical reflection. Under these background study, the regular course in engineering education is may be appropriate for using Learing Portfolio in lecture. In this paper, we present the case study for the Data Structure course opened in the first semester of 2013 which is organized as a Learning Portfolio. According to the results of applying Learning Portfolio to the regular course, it turns out that learners can develope self-directed learning ability in exploring the learning process, and manage a learning process systematically through self-reflection in learning process.

The college of education should support pre-service science teachers to develop various abilities as a teacher, in which the teaching ability is the most fundamental one. This study is the result of a longitudinal research project following the processes that pre-service science teachers develop their teaching ability in a college of education. The data gathered include movie clips of seminar presentation, teaching demonstration, secondary school science experiment, and classes in the practicum. In order to analyze the teaching abilities in various context, a framework was developed. The framework consists of 'content,' 'progress,' and 'verbal/nonverbal' with which the movie clips of 5 pre-service science teachers were analyzed. The teaching abilities of pre-service science teachers showed overall development, that include the understanding of learners and curriculum in the 'content,' the time-management and the interaction with learners in the 'progress,' and the nonverbal behavior in the 'verbal/nonverbal.' The implications were discussed on the education in the college of education, such as the increase of teaching opportunities for pre-service science teachers and the support for those opportunities.

최근 들어 대학 내 창업교육은 정부 및 공공, 지방자치단체 등의 관심과 지원으로 급격히 확산되고 있다. 교양 및 전공분야의 다양한 창업교육 강좌 및 창업 친화적 학사제도 등 인프라 및 환경적 요인도 충분해졌다고 할 수 있다. 하지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 아직까지 양질의 창업교육 콘텐츠 및 교수법, 교수 역량 활성화, 지역 및 대학 간 편차 해소 등 질적인 부분에 있어서는 새로운 변화와 보완이 필요하다고 할 수 있겠다. 이에 본 연구는 대학 내 교수자, 교직원, 학생들이 손쉽게 접근하고 활용할 수 있는 온라인 창업교육 플랫폼 구축을 통해 대학 창업교육의 질적 고도화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 아울러 본 연구를 통해 수도권과 지역 대학 간 발생하고 있는 창업교육의 편차를 해소하고 질 좋은 창업교육 운영 및 콘텐츠 지원을 위한 체계적인 온라인 창업교육 시스템 구성 체계 및 기능, 활용방안, 기대효과 등을 제언하고자 한다. 본 연구는 대학에서 운영하고 있는 창업 교육 관리시스템을 개발하기 위해서 시스템 개발의 기본 방향을 설정하고, 그에 따른 정보화교육 관리시스템에 대한 준수하여야 할 기본 설계 방향을 설정할 것이다. 구조적 개발 방법론을 적용하여 시스템의 기능적 요구사항을 도출하고, 시스템 요구를 만족시킬 수 있도록 설정한 시스템의 주요 기능에 대하여 기술할 것이며, 개발해야 할 된 시스템의 구성도 및 시스템 운영 시 필요한 하드웨어 소프트웨어 제반 운영환경에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 온라인 창업교육플랫폼을 개발함에 있어 가장 우선 검토해야 할 요건은 창업교육과정을 원하는 학생들과 교강사가 플랫폼에 간단하게 접근할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 또한 교 강사들이 언제든 플랫폼을 통하여 시스템에 접근하여 학생의 교육과정 내용과 진도사항, 창업 관련 자료에 대하여 제공 받을 수 있도록 하며, 학생들이 교강사에게 멘토링 받고 싶은 내용이 있다면 플랫폼을 통해 멘토링이 가능하여야 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발하는 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼은 관리자, 학생, 교강사 등 구성원들의 요구사항을 청취하고, 이들의 요구를 정확히 분석하여 구성원들의 불편함을 해소할 수 있도록 개발하고자 한다. 플랫폼의 구성요소는 첫째, 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼은 온라인 기반으로 구성하여 교강사와 학생들이 교육의 효율성을 위하여 공동으로 사용할 수 있는 사이트 공간을 제공할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 온라인 창업 교육 플랫폼의 주된 이용자는 창업 교육을 받는 학생과 창업교육을 하는 교 강사도 이를 관리하기 위한 전체 및 지역별 운영관리자도 존재해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 창업교육에 참여하 학생 및 교강사들의 컴퓨터 활용도의 차이가 있을 수 있을 것이다. 플랫폼은 비주얼하게 개발하여 학생 및 교강사가 쉽고, 부담 없이 접근할 수 있는 이용자 인터페이스를 채택해야 하며, 아울러 이해하기 쉬운 메뉴와 간결하게 구현해서 제공할 필요가 있으며, 이것은 온라인 창업교육 플랫폼 사용의 효율성을 제공하는 것이다. 학생들에게는 플랫폼 통하여 자신들의 창업 능력을 배양하여 학습에 도움이 되어야 하며, 교강사에게는 언제든 실시간으로 최신의 정보를 제공함으로써 플랫폼에 대한 신뢰성이 확보 될 수 있도록 설계 되어야만 창업교육의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있으며, 대학 등에서는 보다 안정적인 학생 관리에 최선을 다 할 수 있을 것이다.

In this paper, we introduce development process and application of a simple and effective model of a statistics laboratory using open source software R, one of leading language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. This model consists of HTML files, including Sage cells, video lectures and enough internet resources. Users do not have to install statistical softwares to run their code. Clicking 'evaluate' button in the web page displays the result that is calculated through cloud-computing environment. Hence, with any type of mobile equipment and internet, learners can freely practice statistical concepts and theorems via various examples with sample R (or Sage) codes which were given, while instructors can easily design and modify it for his/her lectures, only gathering many existing resources and editing HTML file. This will be a resonable model of laboratory for studying statistics. This model with bunch of provided materials will reduce the time and effort needed for R-beginners to be acquainted with and understand R language and also stimulate beginners' interest in statistics. We introduce this interactive statistical laboratory as an useful model for beginners to learn basic statistical concepts and R.

This study aimed to explore the effects of population education on university male female students' recognition of population education and low fertility and aged society. The subjects were 71 university students(male: 36, female: 35) participating in population education program. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, paired t test and two-way ANOVA with repeated measures. The main results of this study were as follows. Firstly, population education led to positive changes in university students' recognition of population education and of low fertility and aged society. Specifically, after taking the population education courses, students' levels of knowledge on population education contents and on foreign domestic policies related to low fertility and aged society increased. Secondly, there were students' sex differences in the effect of population education on recognition of population education and low fertility and aged society. For only female students, there were significantly positive changes in realization of the seriousness of low fertility and aged society, in recognition of importance of population education, work-family reconciliation and child-care centers to solve the issues of low fertility and aged societies, in knowledge levels of foreign domestic policies related to low fertility and aged society, and in awareness of family of small members(ex. single families). Finally, based on the results, the roles of Home Economics Education were suggested in population education.
