화재로 인한 전기재료 감식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Identification of Electrical Materials by Fire)

  • Identification of the cause of electrically related fire accident may be approached either by studying accident related electric properties or by investigating power instruments at the site of the accident. In the present paper, the former approach is taken especially on investigating the consequences of excessive current induced by electric short circuiting of high power instruments which is reported as the primary cause electricity related fire accidents. In order to provide reliability of the identification method, microscopic photograph's are taken for the cross sections of the electric wires after being exposed to over current and heated by external means, respectively The results are consequently compared and analysed.

  • Radioisotopes and their related techniques have recently been applied for scientific conservation works of cultural property and resulted many excellent findings or conservation data which could never be achieved by means of other techniques. Radiocarbon dating have widely been applied for dating the antique of organic origin, whereas the determination of radioactive contents in metal, ceramics, environmental soil, and classical objects could be able to afford many useful informations on the age, genuiness, and archeological significances as it had been produced. Trace quantity of contents of each antique have successfully been analyzed by means of radioactivation analysis or radio active tracer techniques, which could afford important technical data and results for tile conservation of each object. Radiography have also been applied for detecting the internal defects of metal objects and furthermore $\beta$-and ${\gamma}$-ray radiography were proved to be effective for such thin material as textile, painting, and fibres. In this article the detailed principle and procedures of each technique were presented so that the society could be able to make efforts to familiarize all concerns with these modern trends of the conservation techniques of cultural property.

  • 이산 시간계에서 실수의 극을 갖는 다입력, 다출력 프로세스에 대하여 유용한 제어방법이 제안 되었다. 이 제어방법은 적응제어와 최적 제어의 장점을 모두 가지며, 프로세스의 변수가 서서히 변한다는 가정하에서, 다이내믹스를 갖는 제어기의 설계에 응용될 수 있다. 프로세스 변수의 감식은 ARMA형태로 이루어지며 궤환 메트릭스의 최적화는 상태 변수 공간에서 이루어진다.

  • We isolated cellulose-producing bacteria from persimmon vinegar(Korea traditional fermentation food). Some of these strains were selected for cellulose production in agitation culture. On the other hand, it was also found that strains suitable for static culture production were not necessarily suitable for agitation culture. Therefore we estimated the cellulose production of these isolates in static culture. To determine nutritional requirement for the production of bacterial cellulose, several nutrients as carbon source, nitrogen and mineral salt were tested.

  • 최근 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 사우나 등의 열을 방사하는 도크내에서 발생하는 화재사고는 다중이용업소를 이용하는 불특정한 사람들의 생명을 위협하고 있는 수준에 도달하고 있다. 특히 이런 시설의 화재는 화재발생 후에 소방대에 의한 진압에만 치중하고 있어 향후 계속하여 화재가 발생할 우려가 큼에도 불구하고 착화원인을 규명하는데 소홀히 하고있다. 특히 현장감식에 의한 육안조사만을 실시하여 화재원인을 추정하거나 설정하는 경우가 대부분이라 근본적인 대책을 세우지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 육안조사 등에 의하여 설정한 착화원인을 과학적인 분석법 즉, EU국가에서 널리 사용하는 CFD(컴퓨터수치해석)시뮬레이션 S/W를 사용하여 연소모델링에 의한 검증조사기법을 적용하여 원인을 검증하는데 사용하여 국내화재조사기술의 과학화를 시도하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 담뱃불 화재 연소특성에 대한 사례분석, 대기 중에서 담뱃불이 연소되는 시간, 담뱃불이 연소될 때 온도측정, 훈소가 가능한 물질의 연소실험, 담뱃불 화재재현실험을 통해 담뱃불화재 특성을 파악하여 담뱃불화재 감식기법 도출하였다. 담뱃불에 의해 화재가 발생되기 위해서는 산소공급, 가연물 조건 등을 충족할 때 화재로 진전됨을 알 수 있었으며, 반대로 그런 조건이 부합되지 않을 때는 쉽게 화재로 전이되지 않음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 아직은 우리 주변에서 생소하지만 향후 사용 빈도가 높아질 중앙 집진식 청소기의 발생 가능한 화재원인을 연구하여 어떤 조건하에서 발화가능성이 있는지, 발화요인 제거와 화재조사시 과학적으로 명확하게 판단하여 원인불명의 화재가 발생하지 않도록 중앙 집진식 청소기의 화재 감식기법과 예방을 위한 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Chitosan을 이용한 감식초의 청징화 (Clarification of Persimmon Vinegar Using Chitosan)

  • The effects of chitosans with two different molecular weights (150 and 37 kDa) on the clarification of persimmon vinegar were investigated. The coagulated solids increased with increasing chitosan concentrations. Chitosan treatment had no effect on pH and acidity. Turbidity, browning, contents of tannin and soluble solids decreased with increasing chitosan concentrations. An increase in chitosan concentration resulted in an increase in color L* value and a decrease in a* and b* values. Reduction in turbidity and tannin contents somewhat differed depending on the molecular weights of chitosan. In sensory evaluation, chitosan treatment did not affect color and flavor over all concentrations tested. However, astringent taste was noticeably strong by treatment with 500mg/L chitosan, resulting in low overall acceptability. Therefore, the most effective clarification of persimmon vinegar was achieved by treatment with 400mg/L chitosan, irrespective of molecular weight.

Chitosan 처리로 청징화된 감식초의 저장중 품질 변화 (Quality Changes during Storage of Persimmon Vinegar Clarified by Chitosan Treatment)

  • Persimmon vinegar was clarified with 400mg/L chitosans of two different molecular weights (MW 150 and 37 kDa), and its quality changes were investigated during storage at room temperature for 6 months. No significant changes in pH, acidity, and tannin content were observed. However, turbidity and browning slightly increased while protein content slightly decreased. Soluble solids content slightly decreased when treated with high MW chitosan. Color L* value decreased while a* and b* values increased with storage periods. The major organic acid in the persimmon vinegar after 6 months storage was acetic acid with minor lactic, malic, tartaric, galacturonic, and succinic acids. Overall, the quality of persimmon vinegar clarified by chitosan treatment, irrespective of molecular weight, was more stable without noticeable changes during storage than that of control group without chitosan treatment.

유전자감식에 의한 개에서의 친자감별 (Paternity test in dogs by DNA analysis)

  • The biological father of two Golden Retriever puppies was determined between two proposed stud dogs by using microsatellite DNA analysis. DNA was obtained from all the relevant dogs by buccal swabbing and three loci of tetranucleotide repeat microsatellite were PCR-amplifiedl and analyzed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and silver staining. One of the two proposed stud dogs was assigned as the biological father of the puppies by the genotyping. The result demonstrated that the microsatellite DNA analysis is a simple, efficient method of paternity test in dogs.
