Survey Report on Nursing Education, 1981 (1981년도 간호교육 실태조사)

  • 본 조사는 1981년 6월부터 7월까지 전국 50개 간호교육기관의 교육실태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국 간호교육기관 수는 총 51개교로 대학 과정 15개교, 전문대학과정 36개교이다. 2. 간호교육기관 기관장의 전공분야는 간호학 전공자가 $42.0{\%}$, 비간호학 전공자, $58.0{\%}$이다. 3. 1981년도 재학생은 11.574명으로 대학과정 2,843명, 전문대학과정 8.731명이고, 남학생이 7개교에 재학하고 있으며, 총 남학생은 45명이다. 4. 1981년도 총 졸업생 수는 3,278명으로 대학과정 19.8%, 전문대학과정 $80.2{\%}$이다. 5. 1981년도 졸업생의 취업율은 $74.9{\%}$, 미취업율은 $25.1{\%}$이며, 취업분야는 임상분야에 $82.4{\%}$, 보건분야에 $7.2{\%}$, 교육분야에 $7.5{\%}$, 기타$2.9{\%}$이다. 6. 전국 간호교육자는 662명이고 1979년 9월부터 1981년 3월까지 출판된 저서는 96권, 논문은 503편이다.

Relationship between Nurse Imagem Ego-Resilience and Nursing professional values of nursing students (간호대학생의 간호사이미지, 자아탄력성과 간호전문직관의 관계)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 간호사이미지, 자아탄력성 및 간호전문직관의 관계를 알아보고 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구대상자는 일 지역 4년제 간호대학생을 280명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}^{\prime}s$ test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients, multiple regressions을 하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 간호사이미지는 성격과 간호직에 대한 생각에서 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 자아탄력성은 연령, 성별, 학년, 성격, 간호직에 대한 생각, 지원동기, 입원경험, 가족 중 간호사 유무에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호전문직관은 학년, 성격, 간호직에 대한 생각, 가족 중 간호사 유무에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호사이미지, 자아탄력성 및 간호전문직관의 관계를 분석한 결과 간호전문직관은 간호사이미지, 자아탄력성과 유의하게 정적인 상관관계가 있었고, 간호사이미지와 자아탄력성도 유의하게 정적 상관관계로 나타났다. 간호전문직관 영향요인은 간호사이미지, 자아탄력성으로 나타났다.

Survey on the nursing education (1977년도 간호교육실태조사)

  • 본 조사를 1977년 7월부터 11월까지 전국 52개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 질문지에 의하여 간호교육기관의 교육 실태를 분석 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국의 간호교육기관 수는 대학과정 14개교(대학 2개교, 간호학과 12개교), 전문학교 37개교, 간호학교 1개교 이었다. 설립별로 분류하여 보면 국립은 9개교, 공립은 16개교, 사립은 27개교이었다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관의 재학생 수는 10,882명이었고 대학과정에 2908명, 전문학교과정에 7,974명이었다. 총 재학생중 남학생 수는 53명이었다. 3. 1977년도 졸업생 수는 총 3,097명으로 11월 현재 취업율은 78.8$\%$ 미취업율은 21.2$\%$을 나타내고 있다. 4. 전국의 총 간호교수는 603명으로 전임강사 이상 간호학 교수는 74%이었다. 대학과정의 학(과)장중 85.7%가 간호학 전공교수 이었으나 전문학교의 경우 기관장중 35.1%가 간호학 전공교수이었다. 5. 교수의 주당 강의시간 수는 대학과정의 경우 1$\~$3시간을 담당하는 교수가 52.6$\%$를 차지함에 비해, 전문학교의 경우 1$\~$3시간 담당교수는 11.0$\%$에 불과 하였으며 7$\~$9시간 담당교수가 28.0$\%$를 차지하고 16시간 이상 강의하는 교수도 2.6$\%$나 있었다. 교수의 정원을 질문 하였으나 자료 수집된 대부분의 학교에서 기록하지 않아 집계할 수 없었음을 밝히며, 끝으로 협조해주신 전국 간호교육 기관에 진심으로 감사드리면서 앞으로도 계속적인 지원과 협조를 바랍니다.

The Effect of Undergraduate Nursing Students' Nursing Professionalism and Rejection Sensitivity on Moral Courage (간호대학생의 간호전문직관과 거부민감성이 도덕적 용기에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of nursing professionalism and rejection sensitivity on moral courage of undergraduate nursing students. It was collected from August 26, 2022 to September 2, 2022 for nursing students at two universities in the metropolitan area, and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS 24.0 program. As a result of the study, the moral courage of nursing students showed a positive correlation with nursing professionalism, but did not show a correlation with rejection sensitivity. Nursing professionalism was found to have an effect on moral courage of nursing students(F=16.11, p<.001). In order to improve the quality of nursing in the clinical field, it is necessary to develop an education and non-regular program on moral courage with great interest in nursing professionalism in the undergraduate course.

Influence of Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics on Nursing Professionalism of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of Consciousness of biomedical ethics on nursing professionalism among nursing students. Data were collected among 192 nursing students in G city, from May 20 to 27, 2021. The collected data was analyzed a using t-test, One way ANOVA, Pearson's correation coeffcient and Stepwise multiple regression using SPSS 20.0 WIN program. The average score for Consciousness of biomedical ethics was 3.28±0.41 and nursing professionalism was 3.32±0.85. nursing professionalism showed a positve correlation(r=.55, p=.000) with Consciousness of biomedical ethics, Models including the variables, Organ transplant, Euthanasia, explained 37%, 16.5% of the variance in the nursing professionalism. Based on the outcome of this study, steps should be taken to design intervention program that emphasize a improve nursing professionalism for nursing students.

The Effects of Self-leadership and Nursing Professionalism on Social Responsibility in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 셀프리더십과 간호전문직관이 사회적 책임에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of self-leadership and nursing professionalism on social responsibility in nursing students and verify the mediating effects of nursing professionalism on the relationships between self-leadership and social responsibility. The subjects of this study consisted of 250 nursing students. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires. The results were as follows: Self-leadership and nursing professionalism had a positive effect on social responsibility. Nursing professionalism had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between self-leadership and social responsibility. Conclusively, this results of study is meaningful to provide evidence to improve the self-leadership and maximize nursing professionalism to increase social responsibility in nursing students.

Influence of Major Satisfaction, Communication Skills, Image of Nurses on Nursing Professionalism of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 전공만족도, 의사소통능력, 간호사 이미지가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate major satisfaction, communication skills, image of nurses and nursing professionalism, and to identify the influencing factors on nursing professionalism of nursing students. Data were collected using questionnaires from 214 students who were 3rd years in the nursing university in Gwangju, June 2019. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression using IBM SPSS 21.0 program. The mean scores for the major satisfaction(3.71±0.53), communication skills(3.50±0.38), image of nurses(3.80±0.52), nursing professionalism(3.70±0.56) were above average. It was found that there were significant differences in the nursing professionalism depending on age, motivation for nursing clinical practice. Significant relationships were found among major satisfaction(r=.531, p=.000), communication skills(r=.531, p=.000), image of nurses(r=.836, p=.000) and nursing professionalism in nursing students. The results of stepwise multiple regression indicates that image of nurses(β=.705, p=.000) and communication skill(β=.136, p=.001) and major satisfaction(β=.133, p=.002) and predicts 72.8% in clinical practice competency(F=191.248, p<.001). In conclusion, to enhance nursing professionalism for nursing students, it is necessary to develop and utilize a program that enhances image of nurses, communication skills and major satisfaction.

The Influence of Biomedical Ethics and Critical Thinking Disposition on Nursing Professionalism in Nursing College Students (간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was attempted to find out the effect of biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition of nursing college students on professionalism. For this study, from May to June 2021, 144 students were participated from S University in A City, using self reported questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. As results of this study, it was revealed that there was a significant positive correlation between the professionalism of nursing students on biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition(r=.400, p<.001, r=.431, p<.001). Also, the factors affecting the professionalism of nursing students were grade(𝛽=0.303, p<.001), biomedical ethics(𝛽=0.287, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(𝛽=0.294, p<.001) with a total explanatory power of 31.2%. As the results of this study, in order to increase the professionalism of nursing students, it is necessary to develop their biomedical ethics and critical thinking disposition. The specific strategies are to make and apply special programs by their grades.

The Relationship between Nursing Professionalism, Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics and Intrapersonal Intelligence in the Nursing Students (간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 생명의료윤리의식 및 자기성찰지능 간 상관관계연구)

  • This study was performed to investigate the relations on nursing professionalism, consciousness of biomedical ethics and intrapersonal intelligence of nursing students. The study included 159 nursing students. Data collection period was from December 3, 2018 to December 7 (5 days). Nursing professionalism was 3.97 with low social awareness and consciousness of biomedical ethics was 2.95 with high right to life of newborn and organ transplantation but low artificial abortion and euthanasia. Intrapersonal intelligence was 3.79, which showed high self reflection and self-understanding but low self-planning. There was significant positive correlation between nursing professionalism and consciousness of biomedical ethics (r=.31, p<.001) and nursing professionalism and intrapersonal intelligence(r=.39, p<.001). Nursing professionalism showed a positive correlation with biomedical ethics and intrapersonal intelligence. As a result, the nursing education strategy for positive establishment of nursing professionalism of nursing college students needs to be provided with education to improve intrapersonal intelligence that can improve self-development and education that deals with the foundation of Nursing professionalism.

The Convergent effect of Ego-resilience, Nursing professionalism, and Social support on Department satisfaction in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 간호전문직관, 사회적 지지가 학과만족에 미치는 융복합적 영향)

  • The study were to identify the effect of ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support on department satisfaction in nursing students. Data were collected from April to May 2017 from 272 nursing students. The study tools were ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support, department satisfaction. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The result showed that the difference in department satisfaction relating to general characteristics were significant for reason for choosing a department, student activity, academic record. The correlation among ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support, department satisfaction were significant, and the significant factors influencing department satisfaction in nursing students were social support, nursing professionalism, ego-resilience. It is necessary to find ways to improve the department satisfaction through the activities that can enhance the social support, nursing professionalism, and ego-resilience of nursing students. This will help them adjust to college life.
