The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of school teachers in science research ethics and perception of science research ethics education. A survey was administered for this study and a total 167 elementary and secondary teachers studying in K University graduate school participated. The survey was organized to examine participants' 1) science research ethics awareness, 2) status of science research ethics education, and 3) needs for science research ethics education, and 4) the perception of the direction of the science research ethics education in school. Each item was responded using either 1 to 5 Likert type scale, multiple choices questionnaires. The results were as follows: both of elementary and secondary school teachers showed above average interest in science research ethics and secondary school teachers showed significantly higher interest than elementary school teachers(p<0.05). In degree of awareness of science research ethics, plagiarism (M=3.98) was the highest, followed by free-riding(M=3.78), the scientist's social responsibility(M=3.71), and forge(M=3.61). In response science research ethics problem occurs in science education activities more than the average(M=3.39). Teacher's response on the teaching of science research ethics ranges from 3.02 to 4.47, but each science research ethics elements was showed a large deviation. Elementary and secondary school teachers responded that science research ethics education needed(M=4.34). Science research ethics education should be included in the school curriculum. Eighty-five percent of the teachers responded that the science research ethics education should be started from elementary school. 'Discussion-type classes with examples' was preferred as an effective teaching. And teachers needed 'instructional materials' and 'teachers training' for science research ethics education.

Currently, almost all product development in the jewelry industry utilizes 3D CAD and 3D printing. In this situation, 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing ability units in colleges, Tomorrow Learning Card Education, and Course Evaluation-type jewelry design related education are conducted with developed curriculum based on the standards for training standards, training hours, training equipment, and practice materials presented by NCS. Accordingly, this study analyzes 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing training facilities, training hours, training equipment, etc into three categories of NCS precious metal processing and jewelry design, and studies the development of educational systems such as 3D CAD/3D printing curriculum and various environments that meet these standards. Education using this 3D CAD/3D printing education system will enable us to continuously supply professional talent with practical skills not only in the jewelry industry but also in the entire 3D CAD/3D printing manufacturing industry, which is called as one of the pillars of the 4th Industry. The quality of employment of trainees receiving education and the long-term retention rate after employed can also have a positive effect. In addition, excellent educational performance will help improve the recruitment rate of new students in jewelry jobs or manufacturing-related departments, which are difficult to recruit new students in recent years.
The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze the student's pre-inquire and to obtain information on how to use the teaching-learning process. The specific research problem is to confirm the level of the student's pre-inquire, to identify the characteristics of each type, and to check what pre-inquire can be used in the teaching-learning process. The research was conducted on 149 children in the $3^{rd}$ and $4^{th}$ grade of elementary school, and collected a total of 2,034 inquires. As a result of analyzing three times, the students' pre-inquires accounted for 90% of Level 2 and Level 3, which are the inquires that give meaningful answers in the teaching-learning process. These results show that the pre-inquires presented before the students take up the new lesson are not low-level inquires and they can present meaningful inquires that can be used for teaching-learning. Next, as a result of analyzing the student's inquire by type, the factual question was the largest with 50%, followed by comprehension question, procedural question, application question, and prediction question. The factual and procedural questions showed that they could be used as learning activities during the teaching-learning process. Comprehension questions included in the wonderment question can be used as a learning question. And the application question is a question that can be applied to deepening activities, and the prediction question can be used in the inquiry and experiment process of learning activities.

Yanji city in China is a city most populated with Korean-chinese. This study is to examine architectural planning characteristics for Korean-chinese Elementary schools in Yanji city. Currently, this city includes nine Korean-chinese schools. This research has been processed with regards to three broad aspects. Firstly changing processes of school systems, secondly local distributions and networks of school facilities, and thirdly site plans, floor plans and elevations of school buildings were analyzed and examined for finding their characteristics. For this study, seven Han-chinese Elementary schools were also analyzed. The study result are as following: 1. Korean-chinese schools have followed national education policies and also maintained Korean-chinese native education methods. The schools have undergone merger and separation with Han-chinese Elementary schools. Three Korean-chinese Elementary schools in Japan Colonials, two schools in the period of the Republic of China foundation and its growing, and four schools in 1980s were founded. 2. Yanji city administers the networks of Korean-chinese school districts and Han-chinese districts separately. All school districts apply to lkm standard as attending distance. The networks are adjusted as per population change. 3. The characteristics of buildings' site plans, floor plans and elevations are simple. Layouts of the schools are - type or -type centered playground. Building plans show one side corridor type and 5 stories mostly. Elevations stress central parts. Various forms such as finger types do not appear in mass planning since the school curriculum and extracurricular activities are not seemingly active. Han-chinese Elementary schools have similar conditions.

This study aimed to analyze the issues on practical training programs at public libraries and propose alternative strategies for them. This study discusses the theoretical bases of providing practical training programs with the recent change in curriculums of library and information studies. It also explores the current status of both practical training program courses offered by the departments of library and information science in Korea, and the operation of programs managed by 42 public libraries. This study categorizes the programs into three types, including basic task type, participatory type, and proactive type, and examines the characteristics of each type. Furthermore, it researches a case of the cooperative public library practice program, which S public library and C University jointly conduct, and analyzes students and librarians' needs who participated in the program. As a result, the study identifies all the parties' challenges and provide a gradual development strategies for the program.

This study analyzed what STEAM elements, except mathematical content, are contained in 2009 revised elementary school 5th and 6th grade group mathematics textbooks. STEAM elements in the textbooks were examined by grade and by content area in the elementary school mathematics curriculum. The results were as follows. First, the number of STEAM elements in mathematics 5-1, 5-2, 6-1, 6-2 are 151(18.4%), 212(25.9%), 211(25.7%), 246(30.0%), respectively. The 6th Grade than in 5th Grade can be seen a few plenty. Second, the number of STEAM elements are different depending on the type of STEAM. The number of arts element is 617(75.2%) and this elements are seen the most. The number of representative art and cultural art is 445(54.3%) and 172(20.9%), respectively. The number of technology-engineering and science is 158(19.2%) and 45(5.5%), respectively. We need to developed to promote use of science element in next mathematics curriculum.

The purpose of this study was to analyze Korean middle school student achievement in environmental science based on the TIMSS 2003 (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study), a student comparison of 46 participating nations. Korea ranked the fourth with a mean score of 554 in environmental science. However, all 3 environment science topics assessed in TIMSS are not included in the Korean science curriculum through 8th grade, even though they are included in most other participating nations' curricula. The average percent correct of items was analyzed according to the main topic, the item type and the cognitive domain. Items that showed differences between the average percent correct of Korea and the international average as well as differences between the average percent correct of boys and girls were further analyzed. Results revealed that Korean students performed better than the international average, especially in 'use and conservation of natural resources', multiple-choice items, and items requiring 'factual knowledge'. Also, male students demonstrated significantly higher achievement than female students. On the other hand, Korean students showed relatively lower achievement in constructed-response items, items that contained content they had not learned in science lessons and items requiring descriptions of the uses and effect of science and technology. Moreover, Korean student lacked understanding about acid rain, global warming, and ozone layer destruction. Korean female students showed relatively lower environmental conceptions and lower performance on items requiring data analysis than Korean male students. On the basis of these results, this study suggested that topics of environmental science be included in the science curriculum and taught in the science classroom to help middle school students more fully comprehend environmental issues.
This study is to investigate the relationship between the communication type recognized by members of organization and the learning transfer climate in the organization, and when it comes to the type of communications within organization set as independent variable, four variables such as communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication were proposed and regarding learning transfer climate which is a dependent variable, four sub-parameters such as supervisor support, colleague support, transfer opportunity and organizational compensation recognition were selected. 116 copies of the statistical data excluding statistically insignificant surveys were used for 150 participants who participated in the 2015 core competency curriculum for SMEs and 3 months have passed, in order to achieve this study's objective. Meanwhile, the research hypothesis was verified with the collected data through frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, technical statistical analysis, and simple and multiple regression analysis by using the statistical package program of SPSS 20.0. Results of this study have shown that firstly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication all showed a positive (+) significant influence on the superior support in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and supervisor support which is learning transfer climate. Secondly, communication type in organization doesn't appear to affect colleague support of learning transfer climate. Thirdly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook except for communication with colleagues have shown a positive (+) influence on transfer opportunity in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and transfer opportunity of learning transfer climate. Lastly, communication with supervisor and communication on organizational outlook showed positive(+) influence in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and organizational compensation recognition of learning transfer climate.
The purposes of this study were to investigate the needs for the educational subjects of practitioners in apparel distribution industry and to examine the relationship between the needs and their socio-demographic variables. And it was intended to be used as basic data to develop the curriculum for continuing education in university. The subjects were consisted of 473 practitioners in apparel distribution industries in Taejon and Chongju. A questionnaire was used and classified into seven areas--basic area textile science, design, clothing construction, fashion marketing theory, fashion marketing practice and business management. Descriptive analysis, t-test and ANOVA were used for statistical analyses. The results of this study were as follows: First, the educational needs of subjects by practitioners were in the following order: 1)fashion marketing practice, 2)design, 3)fashion marketing theory, 4)business management, 5)clothing construction, 6)textile science, 7)basic area. Second, the educational needs of subjects by practitioners were also related to their socio-demographic variables like educational background, work area, type of market, total work experience, years in present job, and the role. It was implied that subject areas like fashion marketing and design with theory and practice we of most importance for practitioners in apparel distribution industry. Therefore, a university curriculum of continuing education for them should take into account of those factors mentioned above.
Teacher-child interaction was included in kindergarten and child care center accreditation evaluation and is considered as important as teaching and learning methods in the newly implemented Nuri curriculum. The purpose of this study was to confirm the difference of levels (emotional. verbal, behavioral) for the style of the interaction between teachers and children in kindergarten and child-care centers and to analyze direct effect and interaction effect, according to institution(kindergarten, childcare center). teacher(age, educational career, academic career), and child group(child number, child age) variables. The subjects in this study were 191 teachers in kindergartens and child-care centers in G region in Seoul. The overall average of the teacher-child interaction (emotional, verbal and behavioral interactions) was significantly higher, and there were not significant differences depending on the institution type and child group. According to the results of this study, factors of teacher characteristics affected the teacher-child interaction more than child-concerned variables.
