  • In the present paper we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions in the unit disc defined by convolution $(f_{\mu})^{(-1)}*f(z)$; where $$f_{\mu}=(1-{\mu})z_2F_1(a,b;c;z)+{\mu}z(z_2F_1(a,b;c;z))^{\prime}$$. Several interesting properties of the class and integral preserving properties of the subclasses are also considered.

  • In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the stability of the multi-dimensional Jensen's functional equation $$2f(\frac{x_1+y_1}{2},\;\cdots,\;\frac{x_n+y_n}{2})=f(x_1,\;\cdots,\;x_n)+f(y_1,\;\cdots,\;y_n)$$. The function f given by $f(x_1,\;\cdots,\;x_n)=a_1x_1+{\cdots}+a_nx_n+b$ is a solution of the above functional equation.

  • Harn, Chang Yawl (Chonpuk U., Iri, Korea)-Studies on the interspecific crossing of FORSYTHIA genus. Kor. Jour. Bot. 4(1)1~8 1961: Interspecific crossing of two species, F. saxatilis and F. Koreana, was carried out in order to make clear the segregation ratio of style length, mode of fertility, the fertility of F1 generation, dioecism, and other taxonomic question, the result of which being summarized as follows: 1) Style length is segregated into 1:1 ratio. 2) The behaviro of fertility in the legitimate and illegitimate unions between the different species is exactly like that in the two dimorphic forms of the same species. 3) The mode of fertility between the long and short style of the F1 generation also follows that of the heterostyle plants. 4) No difficulties or irregularities are observed in the interspecific crossing and the F1's fertility. 5) In F1 generation exceedingly high morphological and physiological variations are observed. 6) The short style individual is well fertilized and sets seed when legitimately combined. The insistence that the short style is male, this genus being dioecious, is groundless. 7) Among F1 individuals, are observed a few dwarf-types with tiny and weak vegetative and reproductive organs. 8) The two species used behave in many ways like the different styles of the same species.

  • Purpose Recently PET/CT image's attenuation correction is used CTAC(Computed Tomgraphy Attenuation Correction). it can quantitative evaluation by SUV(Standard Uptake Value). This study's purpose is to evaluate SUV and to find proper CT kernel using CTAC with applied various CT kernel to PET/CT construction. Materials and Methods Biograph mCT 64 was used for the equipment. We were performed on 20 patients who had examed at our hospital from february through March 2017. Using NEMA IEC Body Phantom, The data was reconstructed PET/CT images with CTAC appiled various CT kernel. ANOVA was used to evaluated the significant difference in the result. Results The result of measuring the radioactivity concentration of Phantom was B45F 96% and B80F 6.58% against B08F CT kernel, each respectively. the SUVmax increased to B45F 0.86% and B80F 6.54% against B08F CT kernel, In case of patient's parts data, the Lung SUVmax increased to B45F 1.6% and B80F 6.6%, Liver SUVmax increased to B45F 0.7% and B80F 4.7%, and Bone SUVmax increased to B45F 1.3% and B80F 6.2%, respectively. As for parts of patient's about Standard Deviation(SD), the Lung SD increased to B45F 4.2% and B80F 15.4%, Liver SD increased to B45F 2.1% and B80F 11%, and Bone SD increased to B45F 2.3% and B80F 14.7%, respectively. There was no significant difference discovered in three CT kernel (P >.05). Conclusion When using increased noise CT kernel for PET/CT reconstruction, It tends to change both SUVmax and SD in ROI(region of interest), Due to the increase the CT kernel number, Sharp noise increased in ROI. so SUVmax and SD were highly measured, but there was no statistically significant difference. Therefore Using CT kernel of low variation of SD occur less variation of SUV.

  • By employing ab-initio total-energy and electronic-structure calculations based on the density-functional theory, we studied the effects of surface strain ${\varepsilon}_s$ on the adsorption properties of a Au adatom on defective MgO(001) surfaces with surface oxygen vacancies ($F_s$ centers). The formation energy of the $F_s$ center on MgO(001) varied very slightly in the region of ${\varepsilon}_s$ from -6% to -4% and monotonically decreased with the increase in ${\varepsilon}_s$, from -4% to +6%. As ${\varepsilon}_s$ increased, the adsorption energy ($E^{Fs}_{ads}$) of Au on the $F_s$ center of strained MgO(001) monotonically decreased and, in particular, showed a much larger decrease in $E^{Fs}_{ads}$ for a tensile surface strain of ${\varepsilon}_s$ > +4%. The surface strain dependence on the physical properties, such as the charge states, the spatial charge rearrangement, for Au on the $F_s$ center of strained MgO(001) surfaces was also analyzed. These results provide important physical information on the effects of surface strain on the adsorption of Au on MgO(001) surfaces with $F_s$ centers.

  • Sudden enhancements of daytime NmF2 appeared in Anyang ionosonde data during summer seasons in 2006-2007. In order to investigate the causes of this unusual enhancement, we compared Anyang NmF2's with the total electron contents (GPS TECs) observed at Daejeon, and also with ionosonde data at at mid-latitude stations. First, we found no similar increase in Daejeon GPS TEC when the sudden enhancements of Anyang NmF2 occurred. Second, we investigated NmF2's observed at other ionosonde stations that use the same ionosonde model and auto-scaling program as the Anyang ionosonde. We found similar enhancements of NmF2 at these ionosonde stations. Moreover, the analysis of ionograms from Athens and Rome showed that there were sporadic-E layers with high electron density during the enhancements in NmF2. The auto-scaling program (ARTIST 4.5) used seems to recognize sporadic-E layer echoes as a F2 layer trace, resulting in the erroneous critical frequency of F2 layer (foF2). Other versions of the ARTIST scaling program also seem to produce similar erroneous results. Therefore we conclude that the sudden enhancements of NmF2 in Anyang data were due to the misrecognition of sporadic-E echoes as a F-layer by the auto-scaling program. We also noticed that although the scaling program flagged confidence level (C-level) of an ionogram as uncertain when a sporadic-E layer occurs, it still automatically computed erroneous foF2's. Therefore one should check the confidence level before using long term ionosonde data that were produced by an auto-scaling program.

  • The aim of this research paper is to establish generalizations of classical Dixon's theorem for the series $_3F_2$, a result due to Bailey involving product of generalized hypergeometric series and certain very interesting summations due to Ramanujan. The results are derived with the help of generalized Kummer's summation theorem for the series $_2F_1$ obtained earlier by Lavoie, Grondin, and Rathie.
