Development of Continuous/Discrete Mixed $H_2$/H$\infty$ Filtering Design Algorithms for Time Delay Systems

  • The problems of mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ filtering design fer continuous and discrete time linear systems with time delay are investigated. The main purpose is to design a stable mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ filter which minimizes the H$_2$Performance measure satisfying a prescribed H$_{\infty}$ norm bound on the closed loop system in continuous-time case and discrete-time case, respectively. The sufficient conditions of existence of filter, the mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ filter design method, and the upper bound of performance measure are proposed by LMI(linear matrix inequality) techniques in terms of all finding variables. Also, we present optimization problems in order to get the optimal mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ filter in continuous and discrete time case, respectively.

The H1*-H2* Measure

  • In this paper, the H1*-H2* measure is introduced and exact procedures for obtaining the H1*-H2* value are fully specified, The H1*-H2* measure (a corrected difference in dB between the first and second harmonics) has been devised to provide an acoustic correlate of the phonation mode of a vowel following a consonant. With this measure, we can investigate the phonation mode of a vowel that is free from the F1 amplitude perturbation effect caused by the preceding consonant, which is especially salient at the voicing onset position of the vowel. For identical research purposes, on the other hand, the H1-H2 measure (the observed difference in dB between the first and second harmonic) has been employed in many previous studies. This paper compares these two measures by illustrating experimental results of exploring post-release phonation modes of vowels following the different manner classes of stop consonants in Korean $\square$i.e., the tense, lenis, and aspirated stops.

  • H.323 proposes to use Mobile IP and H.323 ad hoc conference signaling to provide Handoff function to an H.323 mobile terminal. But the H.323 ad hoc conference signaling has a drawback. It requires an H.323 terminal to do a complex conference signaling which takes a longer signaling time. In this paper, we propose an GK architecture that provides Handoff function effectively using 3$^{rd}$ P'||'||'||'||'||'&'||'||'||'||'||'R(Third party initiated Pause and Rerouting) signaling which are done through H.245 logical channel. The GK which is implementing 3$^{rd}$ P'||'||'||'||'||'&'||'||'||'||'||'R signaling only requires an H.323 endpoint to do the H.323 basic signaling in reestablishing media channel and gives the faster Handoff signaling. To do this, our GK has derived H.245 control channel using tunneling f3r all H.323 calls including the fast connect calls which enable terminals communicate each other if they doesn't have H.245 control channel .municate each other if they doesn't have H.245 control channel .

  • H.324는 일반 전화망을 이용한 영상 전화 및 회의용 터미널 시스템 규약이며, H.245는 H.324 기반 터미널 양단이 통신을 시작 하거나 끝내기 위해 교환하는 제어 메시지를 처리하는 프로토콜로써, H.324 시스템의 제어 프로토콜의 역할을 담당한다. H.245 프로토콜은 H.324 뿐만 아니라 H.323 등에도 같은 역할을 담당한다. 그래서 멀티미디어 통신에서는 빠질 수 없는 프로토콜 규약으로써 이를 준수하는 프로토콜 모듈들이 다수 개발되어 왔으며 지금도 개발이 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 이를 H.324를 기반으로 하는 멀티미디어 이동 통신 환경에 그대로 적용하는 데 있어서는, 제한된 시스템 자원 등으로 인하여 여러 제약이 따른다. 따라서 기존에 구현된 H.245를 그대로 적용시키는 것은 무리가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 ITU-T 영상회의 표준인 H.245를 준수하는 이동 통신 환경의 인터넷 폰 및 휴대전화에서의 멀티미디어 통신에 최적화된 제어 프로토콜 모듈을 선계, 구현하였다.

Strong Higher Derivations on Ultraprime Banach Algebras

  • In this paper we show that if {$H_n$} is a continuous strong higher derivation of order n on an ultraprime Banach algebra with a constant c, then $c||H_1||^2{\leq}4||H_2||$ and for each $1{\leq}l$ < n $$c^2||H_1||\;||H_{n-l}{\leq}6||H_n||+\frac{3}{2}\sum_{\array{i+j+k=n\\i,j,k{\geq}1}}||H_i||\;||H_j||\;||H_k||+\frac{3}{2}\sum_{\array{i+k=n\\i{\neq}l,\;n-1}}||H_i||\;||H_k|| $$ and for a strong higher derivation {$H_n$} of order n on a prime ring A we also show that if [$H_n$(x),x]=0 for all $x{\in}A$ and for every $n{\geq}1$, then A is commutative or $H_n=0$ for every $n{\geq}1$.

플라즈마 화학증착법으로 제조된 수소화된 비정질 탄화실리콘 박막의 물성에 대한 붕소의 도핑효과 (Effect of boron doping on the chemical and physical properties of hydrogenated amorphous silicon carbide thin films prepared by PECVD)

  • $SiH_4$, $CH_4$, $B_2H_6$ 혼합기체를 이용하여 플라즈마 화학증착법으로 비정질 탄화실리콘(a-SiC:H) 박막을 증착하였다. 기상 doping 농도를 0에서 $2.5\times10^{-2}$ 범위에서 변화시켜 얻은 박막의 물성을 SEM, XRD, Raman 분광법, FTIR, SIMS, 광흡수도와 전기전도도 분석을 통하여 살펴보았다. $B_2H_6$/($CH_4+SiH_4$) 기체유량비가 증가할수록 붕소의 도핑효율와 미세결정성은 감소하였다. 증착 중 $B_2H_6$ 기체가 첨가됨에 따라 비정질 탄화실리콘 박막의 Si-C-H 결합기의 강도는 감소하였으며, 이의 영향으로 박막내의 수소함량은 $B_2H_6/(SiH_4+CH_4$) 기체 유량비가 증가함에 따라 16.5%에서 7.5%로 단조감소하였다. $B_2H_6(CH_4+SiH_4$) 기체유량비가 증가할수록 a-SiC:H 박막의 광학적 밴드갭과 전기활성화 에너지는 감소하였고, 전기전도도는 증가하였다.

Characterization of Double Transgenic Mice Harboring Both Goat $\beta$-casein/hGH and Goat $\beta$-casein/hG-CSF Hybrid Genes

  • In an attempt to simultaneously produce two human proteins, hGH and hG-CSF, in the milk of transgenic mice, we constructed goat $\beta$-casein-directed hGH and hG-CSF expression cassettes individually and generated transgenic mice by co-injecting them into mouse zygotes. Out of 33 transgenic mice, 29 were identified as double transgenic harboring both transgenes on their genome. All analyzed double transgenic females secreted both hGH and hG-CSF in their milks. Concentrations ranged from 2.1 to $12.4\;mg/m{\ell}$ for hGH and from 0.04 to $0.13\;mg/m{\ell}$ for hG-CSF. hG-CSF level was much lower than hGH level but very similar to that of single hG-CSF mice, which were introduced with hG-CSF cassette alone. In order to address the causes of concentration difference between hGH and hG-CSF in milk, we examined mRNA level of hGH and hG-CSF in the mammary glands of double transgenic mice and tissue specificity of hG-CSF mRNA expression in both double and single transgenic mice. Likewise protein levels in milk, hGH mRNA level was much higher than hG-CSF mRNA, and hG-CSF mRNA expression was definitely specific to the mammary glands of both double and single transgenic mice. These results demonstrated that two transgenes have distinct transcriptional potentials without interaction each other in double transgenic mice although two transgenes co-integrated into same genomic sites and their expressions were directed by the same goat $\beta$-casein promoter. Therefore goat $\beta$-casein promoter is very useful for the multiple production of human proteins in the milk of transgenic animals.

Determination of the pH of Iso-Selectivity of the Interfacial Diffusion Layer of Fe

  • Passive metal forms an interfacial diffuse layer on the surface of passive film by its reaction with $H^+$ or $OH^-$ ions in solution depending on solution pH. There is a critical pH, called pH point of iso-selectivity ($pH_{pis}$) at which the nature of the diffuse layer is changed from the anion-permeable at pH<$pH_{pis}$ to the cation-permeable at pH>$pH_{pis}$. The $pH_{pis}$ for a passivated Fe was determined by examining the effects of pH on the thickness of passive film and on the dissolution reaction occurring on the passive film under a gavanostatic reduction in borate-phosphate buffer solutions at various pH of 7~11. The steady-state thickness of passive film formed on Fe showed the maximum at pH 8.5~9, and further the nature of film dissolution reaction was changed from a reaction producing $Fe^{3+}$ ion at $pH\leq8.5$ to that producing $FeO_2{^-}$ at $pH\geq9$, suggesting that the $pH_{pis}$ of Fe is about pH 8.5~9. In addition, the passive film formed at pH 8.5~9, $pH_{pis}$, was found to be the most protective with the lowest defect density as confirmed by the Mott-Schottky analysis. Pitting potential was decreased with increasing $Cl^-$ concentration at $pH\leq8.5$ due probably to the formation of anion permeable diffuse layer, but it was almost constant at $pH\geq9$ irrespective of $Cl^-$ concentration due primarily to the formation of cation permeable diffuse layer on the film, confirming again that $pH_{pis}$ of Fe is 8.5~9.

RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링 방법을 사용해 증착된 Al이 도핑 된 ZnO 박막의 H2/(Ar + H2) 가스 비율에 따른 특성 (The properties of Al-doped ZnO films deposited with RF magnetron sputtering system in various H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratios)

  • $Al_2O_3$ 2 wt%가 도핑 된 ZnO(AZO) 타겟으로RF 스퍼터링 장비를 사용하여 $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율에 따른 AZO 박막을 증착 후, 이들 박막의 특성을 조사하였다. AZO 박막은 $200^{\circ}C$, $2{\times}10^{-2}$ 공정조건에서 $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율을 변화시키면서 증착하였다. AZO박막증착 중 수소가스의 첨가는 박막의 특성에 영향을 미쳤다. $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율이 2.5 %일 때 비 저항(${\sim}9.21{\times}10^{-4}\;{\Omega}cm$)과 전자 이동도(${\sim}17.8\;cm^2/Vs$)는 각각 최소값과 최대값을 나타내었다. $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율이 2.5 % 이상일 때는 $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율이 증가할수록 비저항은 점차로 증가하였고 전자 이동도는 점차적으로 감소하였다. 전자 운반자 농도는 $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율이 증가함에 따라 0 %에서 7.5 %까지 점차로 증가하였다. $H_2/(Ar+H_2)$ 가스 비율에 따라 증착된 박막의 가시광선 파장 범위에서 평균 광 투과도는 90 % 이상이었고 성장방향은 [002]이었다.

UV, H2O2, 오존을 이용한 고급산화공정에서의 테레프탈산 제조공정 폐수 처리 : 유기물 및 색도제거 연구 (Advanced Oxidation Process for the Treatment of Terephthalic Acid Wastewater using UV, H2O2 and O3 : Organic and Color Removal Studies)

  • UV/H_2O_2$, $O_3$, $O_3/H_2O_2$, $UV/H_2O_2/O_3$ 공정을 이용한 테레프탈산 제조공정 폐수의 COD 및 색도제거 연구를 수행하였다. UV/H_2O_2$, $O_3$, $O_3/H_2O_2$, $UV/H_2O_2/O_3$ 공정에서의 COD 제거율은 각각 10, 48, 56, 63%, 색도 제거율은 $UV/H_2O_2$ 공정이 80%, $O_3$, $O_3/H_2O_2$, $UV/H_2O_2/O_3$ 공정은 모두 99% 이상 효과적으로 제거되는 것으로 나타났다. COD 및 색도 제거율이 가장 우수한 $UV/H_2O_2/O_3$ 공정에서 테레프탈산 제조공정 폐수의 주요 유기물 성분인 테레프탈산, 이소프탈산 그리고 벤조산 성분은 120분 이내에 모두 99% 이상 제거되었다. 또한 $UV/H_2O_2$, $O_3/H_2O_2$, $UV/H_2O_2/O_3$ 공정에서의 최적 $H_2O_2$ 주입농도는 각각 0.5M, 25 mM 그리고 5 mM로 나타나, UV와 $H_2O_2$를 오존산화 공정에 조합함으로써 유기물 제거율 향상과 함께 사용된 $H_2O_2$의 저감효과를 동시에 얻을 수 있었다.
