The study aims to determine the factors and their influence on the income from using public agricultural land of households. Public agricultural land is agricultural land, including land for growing annual crops, perennial crops, and land for aquaculture, leased by commune-level People's Committees with a lease term of not more than 5 years. Secondary data were collected for the 2017-2021 period at state agencies. Primary data were collected from a survey of 150 households renting public agricultural land. The regression model assumed that there were 28 factors belonging to 7 groups. The test results show that 25 factors affect income, and 03 factors do not. The group of COVID-19 pandemic factors has the strongest impact, followed by the groups of agricultural product market factors, land factors, capital factors, production cost factors, labor factors, and climatic factors. The impact rate of COVID-19 pandemic factors is the largest (23.00%); The impact rate of climatic factors is the smallest (6.04%). Proposals to increase income include good implementation of disease prevention and control; increasing the land lease term; accurately forecasting the supply and demand of the agricultural market; raising the level of the household head; ensuring sufficient production capital, and adapting to the climate.

The perspectives on aging women's financial security during their retirement years are based on their behavior, planning, and decision-making processes during their working years. Elderly women are considered vulnerable and have a longer life expectancy, lower-income, and limited financial understanding compared to males; therefore, drastic steps need to be taken to improve their financial stability and quality of life. The current study sought to determine the most important contributors to retired women's financial health by measuring the value of four factors/variables: capability, opportunity, willingness, and biopsychosocial. This study used a mixed model approach, with qualitative analysis in the first phase involving a focus group discussion session, a pilot analysis, and quantitative analysis for phase two involving the distribution and collection of questionnaires completed by retired women. The surveys were distributed across Malaysia in five distinct zones and yielded 339 usable replies to support the theory. The outcomes of the Multiple Regression Analysis in Malaysia revealed that capability, opportunity, and biopsychosocial factors are significant predictors of retired women's financial security, whereas the willingness indicator lacked statistical significance. -

This paper examines the effects of regulatory capital on a bank's profitability and risk. We employ annual data from Vietnamese commercial banks from 2005 to 2020 and use the dynamic GMM regression method to address the potential endogeneity issue, more suitable for panel data with relatively low time dimensions. Our panel regressions indicate that higher regulatory capital would significantly improve the bank's profitability and lower the bank risks. In particular, a one percent increase in the regulatory capital would significantly increase the bank's return on assets by 1.9%. We further explore the heterogeneous impacts of regulatory capital on the Vietnamese bank's performance across bank characteristics. We find that smaller, non-state-owned and non-listed banks would benefit from stringent regulatory capital requirements. The improvements in bank performance are mainly driven by reductions in the risk premium of the banks, resulting in lower funding costs and higher profitability. These findings are essential since Vietnam, as an emerging market, has only implemented the Basel II reform recently on a stable and fast-growing background rather than as a reaction to the global financial crisis. Thus, our empirical results support stringent regulatory capital in emerging countries to ensure a stable banking sector and boost economic growth. -

Women entrepreneurs play a vital role in employment creation, economic development, and growth. Women entrepreneurship is deep-rooted in the social and cultural norms and values of society. Women's entrepreneurship contribution is still invisible and needs to be properly investigated. The current research study explores "how institutions affect women's entrepreneurial performance in Pakistan" by using institutional and social cognitive theories. Focusing on the Formal and informal institutions, this research examines how institutions are affecting women's entrepreneurial performance by taking the mediating role of women's entrepreneurial self-efficacy and ethical decision making. A 7-point Likert scale research questionnaire is used to collect primary data. Data on active entrepreneurs are collected from the Peshawar, Mardan, and Abbottabad divisions of KPK's Women Chambers of Commerce. The data is empirically tested through the path analysis technique of structural equation modeling (SEM) through SMART PLS 3. The results indicated that women's entrepreneurial self-efficacy and ethical decision-making strongly mediate both institutions and significantly affect women's entrepreneurial performance. The study suggests that government and concerned departments should pay due attention to determinants like informal institutions and social constraints to boost women's entrepreneurial performance. -

This research has the purposes of analyzing and proving empirically, such as: To investigate the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) on financial performance at banks in Indonesia through the mediating role of corporate asset growth. Theoretically, the study's results were expected to enrich and complete the repertoire of understanding in the financial management area, specifically with those phenomena related to banking financial performance and factors which influenced it. The population of this research was a bank that had a Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) rating from 2011 to 2020. The type of sampling used was saturated sampling; thus, the whole population is sample members. Current data analysis used SEM. GCG has a direct or indirect impact on banking financial performance, according to the findings of this study. Improved GCG results in increased public confidence, which is reflected in an increase in total assets, as well as improved banks' financial performance. As a result, it can be stated that corporate asset increase largely mitigated the impact of GCG on bank financial performance in Indonesia. Through this rapid growth from corporate assets, Bank can maximize the market expansion which is ultimately able to improve banking financial performance. -

The study's goal is to look at the factors that influence people's willingness to whistleblow in the Malaysian public sector by applying two elements from the Moral Intensity Theory: the magnitude of consequences and societal consensus with professional commitment as an additional variable. The cross-sectional study used primary data collection through questionnaires adopted from previous studies. The survey questionnaires were distributed to target respondents from 27 ministries in Malaysian public sectors selected based on their grade positions in the departments ranging from Grade 29 and above. The findings revealed that societal consensus and professional commitments significantly impact the intention to whistleblow. The findings imply that closed people's opinions may have certain persuasive elements that influence the act of whistleblowing as a moral and ethical activity, thereby increasing their whistleblowing intention. The results also suggest that when individuals are more committed to their career and organization, they will act ethically and under the professional norm, hence, they will be inclined to whistleblow. On the other hand, the magnitude of consequences suggested an insignificant relationship with the intention to whistleblow. The results could facilitate the government in curbing the whistleblowing issue by defining its root before the implementation of necessary policies. -

The purpose of the study is to look into the likelihood of private sector enterprises going bankrupt due to COVID-19 pandemic-related issues. The data for this study was taken from the World Bank's Enterprise Survey, which was intended to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business sector. This study uses the Ordinal Logit Method to analyze the model with dependent variables having ordinal values. The determinants reflect business performance, innovation, business relationships, and government support. According to the estimation results, a lower probability of business closures, illiquidity, and payment delays are found in businesses that maintain sales growth, operating hours, temporary workers, product portfolio, consumer demand, and input supply. Meanwhile, the increase in online business activities and receiving support from financial institutions and the government do not help businesses reduce the risk. Moreover, higher survival is found in manufacturing and developing countries. This implies the fragility of businesses in the retail and service sectors, especially for mega-enterprises in developed countries. In addition, the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in Europe and West Asia is less severe than in other regions. The results imply policies to support the private sector during the pandemic, such as increasing labor market flexibility or rapidly implementing supportive policies. -

This research aims to construct a model that combines brand love, brand loyalty, brand image, customer satisfaction, and service quality into a single model, with brand loyalty coming foremost, and test its predictive power in building brand love. Moreover, mediating effect of customer satisfaction and brand image on service quality and brand loyalty affecting brand love was checked. The study adopted an alliance context using an existing SERVQUAL model, a bi-dimensional aspect of brand loyalty and parasocial love relationship theory, to identify brand love as a construct or outcome in the consumer-brand relationship. Using a quantitative approach, survey questionnaires were distributed by unrestricted random sampling among 507 Saudia Airlines customers. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0. The results revealed significant relationships between four variables except for the brand image. It was found that brand image had no mediating effect on the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. The outcome of this study highlights the importance of airline alliances for service quality, which leads to positive customer satisfaction, brand image, and customer loyalty. A unique contribution of the study is that it revealed that brand loyalty is also an antecedent of brand love. -

This study investigates the complex mechanism of work-family conflict affecting counterproductive behavior of employees based on resource conservation theory and 417 valid samples by using polynomial regression and response surface analysis. Counterproductive work behavior refers to any intentional behavior of an individual that has potential harm to the legitimate interests of the organization or its stakeholders. Results show that first, work-to-family conflict (WFC) and family-to-work conflict (FWC) had four matching types. Compared with "high WFC-low FWC," "low WFC-high FWC" and "low WFC-low FWC" matching conditions, the employee self-control resource depletion and counterproductive work behavior (CWB) are at their highest under "high WFC-high FWC" congruence matching condition. Second, the joint effect of WFC and FWC has a U-shaped relationship with counterproductive behavior. Compared with the "high WFC-low FWC" match state, the level of CWB in the "low WFC-high FWC" match state is higher. Third, the depletion of self-control resources played a mediating role in the effect of WFC on counterproductive behavior. Fourth, emotional intelligence moderated the relationship between the congruence of WFC and FWC and self-control resource depletion. Emotional intelligence was higher, and the positive relationship between the congruence of WFC and FWC and self-control resource depletion was weaker. -

With the help of this study, we aim to investigate the influence of Financial Distress (FD) and information and communication technology (ICT) on the operating performance and efficiency of banks in the Indian banking sector. FD can be defined as a position in which a company or individual is not in a condition to fulfill their promise of paying their obligations on time. The term "financial distress" refers to a situation in which a corporation or individual is unable to keep their promise of paying their debts on time. In this work, panel data analysis (PDA) was used to analyze data from 33 Indian banks over ten years (2010 to 2019). According to the findings, FD has a positive and significant impact on bank operational performance and efficiency. The current study will give the banking industry a better understanding of how a bank's performance can be negatively impacted by distressing conditions that render it inefficient and ineffective. Second, it will show investors how the level of distress can have a significant impact on bank performance in the market, finally resulting in the loss of money invested. -

The study's goal is to determine the amount of climate change's impact on ethnic minority (EM) households' livelihoods, as well as their adaptability to climate change and long-term viability. The research was conducted in Vietnam's Northwestern Sub-region, where ethnic minorities account for more than half of the overall population. The study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods based on a survey of 480 households in 04 provinces severely affected by climate change in the Northwest sub-region of Vietnam. The results show that: climate change (extreme weather events) occurs with increasing frequency, mainly affecting the life expectancy, health, and capital of households; Vulnerable groups (women, ethnic minorities) have a poor adaptive capacity and mainly suffer the consequences of shocks, are afraid to change their livelihoods; Microfinance plays an important role in enhancing the sustainability of livelihoods through increasing capital and financial assets and reducing the vulnerability of ethnic minority households. Finally, research has some solutions for microfinance - special credit specifically for ethnic minority households in the Northwest Sub-region: support for microfinance advice, home credit with transition orientations to adapt to climate change response and relieves its impact on the social lives. -
This paper aims to investigate the impact of corporate governance on the quality of integrated reporting. Corporate governance includes internal (board size, board independence, and board diversity) and external (audit quality and enforcement) governance factors. This paper develops an index to capture the quality of integrated reporting by employing the completeness of information required by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). For an international sample, the paper manually collects 160 integrated reports along with internal and external governance factors and employs multivariate analyses to examine the association between these governance factors and the quality of integrated reporting. The empirical results suggest that firms with a larger board of directors, a larger proportion of female members on board, and located in countries with enforcement for integrated reporting requirements have a higher quality of integrated reporting. Our conclusions still hold after accounting for several conditions, including the industry-fixed and year-fixed effects. Together, these results suggest that both internal and external governance factors are important determinants for the quality of integrating reporting. These results have several theoretical and practical implications as they fulfill the absence of relevant studies on addressing the impact of internal and external corporate governance factors on the quality of integrated reporting.

The article investigates the impact mechanism of absorption capacity (potential absorptive capacity - PAC and realized absorptive capacity - RAC) on the innovation efficiency of enterprises through the intermediate variable of dual innovation (exploratory innovation- INOR and exploitative innovation- INOI), based on the actual situation of Vietnam's small and medium enterprises (SMEs). A survey of Vietnam's SMEs was conducted from August 2020 to April 2021. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaires, and 146 valid questionnaires were received. The following results were acquired using SPSS 20.0 software to do correlation and regression analysis of data results.: The results show that the absorptive capacity of enterprises has a positive impact on innovation performance and dual innovation acts as a mediator in how absorptive capacity affects innovation performance. This study deepens the understanding of how absorptive capacity affects innovation performance and provides important new evidence for developing absorptive capacity and dual innovation in both theories and practice in Vietnam's SMEs. The study also proposes several solutions and recommendations to help Vietnam's small and medium enterprises improve their innovation capacity, competitiveness, and performance.

Even after three decades of economic reforms, India's labor market is characterized by stark inter-gender differences in terms of both participation rate and working time. Identification of the causes is necessary to remove the disparity and unequal sharing of economic opportunities to make way for women's empowerment. This research attempts in that direction, examining the prevalence of these inequities in rural areas of North-East Indian states using unit-level data from the 2017-18 Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS). The methodology for the estimation here is based on Blinder- Oaxaca decomposition method after correcting for sample bias forwarded by Heckman. The analysis shows that in both labor force participation and the wage gap, the females in the region lag behind their male counterparts by a huge margin. Further, the analysis shows that one of the main factors leading to the difference is the disparities in human capital assets. On top of female educational enrollment being low, there is also a huge lack of higher educational attainment, while males have accomplished much better in both the parameters. Moreover, the presence of social stigma against women working and discrimination put the female labor outcomes in a gloomy state. -

This study examines the impact of CSR and its authenticity on customer loyalty through the brand image in the chain coffee shop industry. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, 601 survey questionnaires were distributed, of which 491 were analyzed. The results show that CSR has a positive impact on brand image and customer loyalty. In addition, authenticity does not moderate the impact of CSR on brand image and loyalty, as it is difficult for customers to verify the authenticity of CSR action programs. This study emphasizes the importance of CSR action programs and authenticity for businesses to sustainably enhance their distinctive brand image and customer loyalty. Therefore, for sustainable development in the future, managers of coffee shop chains need to focus on the following issues. First, the most important thing is the right awareness of businesses regarding CSR and CSR authenticity. Third, businesses should strengthen the transparency of CSR action programs in various media so that consumers can easily verify authenticity, to increase brand image and improve customer loyalty. -
Malmendier and Tate (2005) and Aktas et al. (2019) suggested that overconfident managers will invest if they have sufficient internal funds. Still, they will save internal funds instead of reducing investment if they have insufficient internal funds because they perceive more substantial financial constraints than other managers. This study examines whether overconfident managers will not invest when the financial crisis makes it difficult to raise external funds. In particular, during the financial crisis in Japan, banks simultaneously provided active monitoring and financing to firms with strong relationships with banks. Therefore, this study can also examine the relationship between overconfident managers and bank behavior by focusing on Japanese firms. This study examines whether overconfident managers increase their investment in firms with strong relationships with banks during the financial crisis. The results of this study showed that overconfident managers, especially their firms with strong relationships with banks, reduce investments more than other managers during the financial crisis. This study suggests that Japanese banks reduced financial constraints and exerted strong corporate governance on Japanese firms during the financial crisis.

The objective of this article is to assess the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation on Corporate Brand Value (CBV) and Corporate Financial Performance (CFP). At the same time, the article examines the mediated role of CBV on the relationship between CSR implementation and CFP. In-depth interviews and observation techniques were used in this article on 4 experts to collect qualitative information. Quantitative analysis was based on primary data obtained from 454 employees working at enterprises providing Bancassurance services. The article uses various models of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Analysis (SEM) using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 20.0 software. In addition, a 5-point Likert scale is used to measure observed variables. Research results show that CBV plays an intermediate role in the relationship between CSR implementation and CFP. At the same time, the implementation of CSR toward communities, customers, and workers directly impacts CBV and CFP. The article draws a new conclusion; there is no relationship found between the implementation of CSR and CFP. The result proposes implications for the state and Bancassurance service providers to develop and implement CSR-related policies and activities to enhance their brand value and financial performance. -

The purpose of this paper is to examine how loyalty programs designed by retail stores affect customer retention. The present study is one of the few empirical studies finding the role of different loyalty programs that help to build customer retention. The study also seeks to explore the moderation role of customer perceived value between intrinsic motivation - customer retention and extrinsic motivation - customer retention. The researchers employed a quantitative research design to collect data from the 350 respondents who purchased goods from the retail chain/departmental stores in Bangladesh. The collected data are then analyzed using structural equation modeling. The result of their findings indicated that the size of the organizational reward has a positive effect on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation; further extrinsic motivation has a significant relation to customer retention. Surprisingly, no support was found for the positive impact of intrinsic motivation on customer retention. Customer perceived value (CPV) is critical as a moderator in building client retention, which improves the positive association between extrinsic motivation and customer retention. CPV, on the other hand, was found to mitigate the negative link between intrinsic motivation and client retention. -

In recent years, the Iraqi market witnessed a large opening that resulted from the entry of many different products with an absence of government regulations. As a result, marketing deception practices have emerged as a new phenomenon. This study examines the effect of deceptive brand image on consumer purchase intention, with consumer attitude as a mediator. A quantitative method was applied in the form of a questionnaire distributed to shoppers at Carrefour Supermarket in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. A random sampling technique was conducted. Subsequently, 200 questionnaires were distributed, and 175 valid questionnaires were analyzed, indicating an 87% response rate. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) has been utilized to test the hypothesis. The result showed that brand image deception has a negative impact on consumer purchasing intention. Also, attitude mediates the relationship between deceptive brand image and consumer purchase intention. The empirical finding confirms that deceptive marketing practices such as brand deception can change the attitude of consumers negatively toward brands and, therefore, affect the consumer purchase intentions. The findings suggest that honest brand marketing is beneficial in increasing the attitude toward the brand. This strategy will increase consumer purchase intentions. -

The goal of this research is to look into the relationship between social media marketing activities and brand attachment in the online marketing business, based on the indirect effect of perceived value and self-brand connections. For this reason, the study has used self-administered questionnaires to collect the data from 425 males from the major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot. Furthermore, based on the PLS-SEM technique the empirical findings show that social media marketing activities positively affect perceived value, self-brand connections, and brand attachment. Perceived value has a significant positive impact on brand attachment and mediates the influence of social media marketing activities on brand attachment. In addition to this, self-brand connections have a positive effect on brand attachment, and self-brand connections mediate the relationship between them. Thus, firms employing social media marketing activities successfully in their branding build upon a positive perception of the brand in the customer's mind resulting in customer attachment with the brand. This study can assist the e-commerce managers and brand managers in building strong customer attachment via perceived value and self-brand connections. -

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of conservative financial reporting on investment during uncertainty. It was assumed that during uncertainty conservative financial reporting can play an important role to improve investment decision-making. For our analysis, data sets from 2005-2020 of nonfinancial companies are used. To measure the impact of conservative financial reporting in the non-financial sector of Pakistan, Khan and Watts' (2009) model is applied. "Prospector" and "Defender" Business strategy is applied for measuring firm-level uncertainty. Investment is measured by adding the change in fixed assets (property, plant, and equipment). To check the robustness of conservative financial reporting, Givoly and Hayn's (2000) Negative Accruals measure is applied. To measure the robustness of uncertainty, environmental scanning and alertness technique is applied. According to environmental scanning and alertness technique, companies are divided into two groups named 'inert' and 'alert'. 'Inert' are those firms that are not scanning their environment, and 'alert' are those firms who continuously analyze their environment. The empirical estimations support our hypothesis. The empirical findings provide the proof that in the wake of uncertainty conservative financial reporting may facilitate to take optimal investment decisions in the developing economy of Pakistan. Our results provide critical and practical implications for investors, researchers, and standard setters. -

This study examines the strength of the impact of fiscal policy tools on economic wellbeing as measured by per capita income in Malaysia from 1996 to 2020. The impact of fiscal policy instruments on economic wellness, represented by real income per capita, is measured using the autoregressive distributed lags model. The speed of adjustment from short-run disequilibrium to long-run equilibrium is also measured to assess the strength of the fiscal instruments' impact on per capita income. Empirical results exhibit the existence of co-integration relationships between per capita income, tax revenue, and government spending. The findings provide strong support for the presence of a long-run positive impact on government spending and a long-run negative impact of tax revenue on per capita income. The coefficient of ECTt-1 indicates that deviations from a short-run disequilibrium to a long-run equilibrium from the current to the future period are corrected with a speed of 76% (equivalent to a duration of 1.5-2 years to return to equilibrium). The practical and policy implication of the results is fiscal instruments play a significant role, mainly in alleviating the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the long run. -
This paper examines South Korea's past developmental experience and its current strategy and policy initiatives to overcome global and domestic challenges and sustain economic growth in the twenty-first century, the digital and global era, to explain how the country became a high-income economy. The findings of this research highlight the following three factors: First, the most significant factor in rapid industrialization was the adoption of an outward-looking strategy, with the help of a highly skilled workforce and the development of high-tech manufacturing and services sectors, which was supported by the government plans. Second, the high R&D intensity helped South Korea become a global leader in information and communication technologies, which has emerged from a top-down innovation system that promotes close collaboration between government, industry, and the academic community. Third, according to the recently released Global Entrepreneurship Index, South Korea tops the region in entrepreneurship environment. Among the list of criteria, South Korea dominates in the ease of starting a business and enforcing contracts. They all play a significant role in encouraging investment, production, communication, and, eventually, economic growth. Finally, this paper suggests forward-looking developments promoting transformation and diversification into high-tech manufacturing and digital and green technologies.

The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between knowledge management and business performance through the role of innovation capabilities in door manufacturing companies in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The study proved the importance of knowledge management as well as the important role of innovation capacity in affecting the business performance of door manufacturing companies. The study was conducted by surveying 400 managers/CEOs who are members of the Board of Directors who directly run door manufacturing and trading businesses in Ho Chi Minh City collected from March 2021 to October 2021. The authors used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to determine the most common observed variables of each factor. Research findings indicated that knowledge management orientation and innovation capability impacted business performance and confirmed the mediating role of innovation capability towards previous variables. These results kindly contribute to theoretical and practical bricks of building determinants of business performance as well as knowledge management indoor manufacturers for future consideration. From the above results, the study has suggested managerial implications to further improve the investment in developing knowledge management elements and innovation capacity to achieve high business results in enterprises door production in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in the future.

This study aims to investigate the impact of the Corona pandemic on the earning quality (EQ) of Saudi national banks. It was conducted to evaluate the measurement of the earning quality based on the Penman approach. The researchers used the analytical method to conduct the study to find the effect of this Pandemic. Data was collected from the annual reports for the period 2010 to 2020 from Saudi national banks, which are twelve according to the annual report for the Saudi central bank, and eight of them were selected as a sample of the study. The banks are Alinma Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, Bank Al Bilad, The National Commercial Bank, Bank Aljazeera, Riyad Bank, Samba Financial Group (Samba), and Arab National Bank. The study findings showed that the Corona pandemic had a negative impact on the Saudi economy, and led to deflation in 2020 by 4.1% due to the oil sector. They also showed reducing oil production by the (OPEC +) agreement to achieve stability in the oil market and the non-oil sector. It was also revealed that the profits of Saudi commercial banks in 2020 decreased by 23.1% and that the Corona pandemic had Caused the earning quality to decline in all the studied banks. -

With the dramatic increase in mobile usage, more and more businesses see the potential of m-commerce. This study focuses on a subcategory of m-commerce, a mobile shopping application. To understand the purchase intention via m-commerce applications, this study is aimed to identify the main factors that are related to the applications and explore the influence of these factors on consumers' mobile shopping intention. This study uses quantitative research methods and selects Vietnam as its case study. The survey responses of 450 Vietnamese mobile shoppers were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that online reviews, e-service quality, and information quality are significant predictors of behavior intention, and perceived risk negatively influences consumer online purchase intention via the applications. The content enriches the combined research of detailed and possible models with quality dimensions and risk perception. Practitioners such as e-retailers and developers can enhance the quality of applications and determine strategies to reach potential users and maximize revenue. M-commerce providers should pay adequate attention to credible and influential online reviews since mobile shoppers heavily rely on reading reviews before buying a product. -

The current study examines the relationship between inventory management efficiency and financial performance in Saudi Arabian companies. The study collected data from the companies listed on Tadawul (a Saudi Arabian stock exchange) during the period starting from 2016 and ending in 2020. The study uses pooled regression model by incorporating Return on Assets (ROA) and Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR) as a performance measurement variable and inventory conversion period as an inventory management variable to report the results. The results show a positive and significant association between inventory management and firms' financial growth measured in terms of Return on Assets (ROA). Further, the study reports a positive and significant association between the inventory conversion period and inventory turnover (ITR). This shows that managing inventory efficiently shall positively impact the firm's performance. The other variables, such as debt ratio and gross profit, are positively related to ROA and negatively correlated with ITR. The firm growth is positively associated with both the dependent variables. The results suggest that the management of inventory in Saudi Arabian firms is efficient. Further, the firm size is positively associated with ROA and ITR. This shows a nexus between inventory management efficiency and firms' financial growth in Saudi Arabian companies. -

Nowadays, omnichannel is a new kind of e-commerce channel. Many retailers invest in this channel to maximize customers' benefits as well as increase competitive advantage and business performance. To operate this channel effectively, the role of IT competence is very important. With the flexibility and integration of IT competence in omnichannel, retailers can optimize service quality and bring customer benefits that are outstanding in comparison with the traditional channel. Because of this significance, this research was carried out to evaluate the effects of IT competence on the business performance of retailers in Vietnam's omnichannel environment through the mediating role of customer value creation and competitive advantage. A quantitative research method is used through a survey with 200 managers working in retail companies operating omnichannel in Vietnam. After collecting data, PLS-SEM software is used to analyze the relationship among these above factors in omnichannel. The results prove that there are positive effects of IT competence on other elements in the research model. All direct and indirect effects are valuable when bootstrapping. Based on the results, some managerial implications are given to managers of retail companies using omnichannel to improve customer values and increase competitive advantage and business performance in the Vietnam context. -

The goal of this research is to see how closely accounting programs in Saudi Arabian colleges comply with the International Accounting Education Standards (IESs). Further, it aims to assess the level of awareness and knowledge of IESs among accounting academics and to examine the possible explanatory factors for their variation. A structured questionnaire was sent to accounting faculty members at 37 Saudi universities. Out of 541 distributed questionnaires, a total of 102 usable responses were received from 26 universities. The findings show that accounting programs in Saudi universities are partially compliant with the guidelines of IESs and accounting academics in those universities are moderately aware of IESs. High variation in the level of academics' knowledge of IESs was detected and was significantly influenced by industry work experience, academic ranks, and professional qualification. The findings of this study suggest that Saudi Universities should work closely with the local and international accounting professional bodies, i.e. the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) to improve accounting programs based on the guidelines of IESs to cope with the recent changes in the capital market of the kingdom and the adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards. -
Enterprises play an increasingly important role in economic development in each country. Effective businesses will make the economies of countries also become efficient and develop. Enterprises play a role in creating jobs, improving labor productivity, and connecting foreign trade and import-export activities. The study aims to evaluate the factors affecting the profitability of small and medium enterprises in Hanoi by using a study of 210 enterprises in the area as well as advanced econometric regression analysis. The research results show that firm size and human capital have no impact on business performance. However, older firms are likely to have higher firm performance, and conversely, younger firms have lower firm performance. The research also confirms that the growth of businesses often has higher firm performance than low-growth ones. Furthermore, a firm with greater value is also more likely to stimulate business performance than lower its value, and this effect is the largest among the analyzed factors. Finally, the study also has some recommendations for the Vietnamese government to develop small and medium enterprises. Specifically, the government needs to create an open mechanism for the start-up movement and create a favorable financial mechanism for small and medium-sized enterprises to be able to access.

Through emotional exhaustion, this study empirically tests followers' behavioral responses to autocratic leaders. The current research focuses on effects caused by despotic leadership on followers' emotional exhaustion, which leads to employee outcomes such as interpersonal deviances and indirect aggression. The association between despotic leadership and results (employee interpersonal deviance and indirect violence) is investigated in this study. In this study, emotional exhaustion is used as a mediator. Furthermore, negative affectivity is used as a moderator between despotic leadership and emotional exhaustion. A time-lagged framework is employed with a sample of 255 respondents. Age, qualification, marital status, gender, grade, type of organization, department, and job experience are among the eight demographical questions in this study. After evaluating the data for normality, correlation analysis was performed, followed by moderation and mediation analysis. The current study explores the link between despotic leadership and emotional exhaustion among followers, arguing that a despotic leader will leave followers exhausted at work. Emotional exhaustion was also linked to interpersonal deviances, such as indirect aggression, in a significant and positive way. Employee outcomes, such as interpersonal deviances and indirect aggressiveness through emotional exhaustion, will be influenced by a despotic leader, according to the findings. -

Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, human resources play a vital role in the health industry because the staff all has to confront a lot of stresses in serving the country and the people to overcome the severe contagiousness and infection of the virus. It is also the case of Family General Hospital, Da Nang (Vietnam). Therefore, the Hospital identifies talented personnel as a core resource in its sustainable development strategy. Researching on how to retain talented staff to serve the sustainable and long-term development of a private hospital such as Family Hospital is extremely necessary, especially when there are fewer large and modern private health facilities for the healthcare system in Central Vietnam compared to the North and the South. With the analysis of survey data and in-depth interviews from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives (via SPSS 20.0), especially the ANOVA and EFA analyses, and linear multiple regression (Generation 1 methods), this study aims to clarify the aspects that affect the talent retention in the representative Family Hospital. The lessons learned have been a good reference for similar private healthcare models in the process of bringing health-related services to a new level in the competition. -

The purpose of this study is to investigate COVID-19's impact on firm survival, as well as the management accounting system's role in adjusting operation efficiency for business survival. Two sets of data comprising small enterprises in the service sector were used. The first business group serves customers who have changed their lifestyle to a new normal. The second business group serves customers who are affected by social distancing measures. The data was collected based on an in-depth interview method. The data was then evaluated using content analysis and analytic comparison. The results show that the COVID-19 situation positively impacts the business survival of the service businesses group that serves customers who have changed lifestyles. However, COVID-19 has a negative effect on the survival of service business groups that serve customers affected by social distancing measures. In addition, the management accounting used during COVID-19, small enterprises have analyzed the operating environment and used the information stored in the database to determine goals for the operation. This study provides comprehensive economic effects and the utilization of management accounting systems. The accounting systems helped to decide to adjust the operation process during the quick changing of the environment of the small enterprise in the service sector. -

Today, customer satisfaction is the most important issue for Vietnamese banks. There are numerous factors that influence bank customers' satisfaction. The study investigates the factors that influence customer satisfaction with deposit services at the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) in Bac Giang province, Vietnam, and analyses the impact of each component. The authors used 5-point Likert scales to assess whether elements were related to the factors determining consumer satisfaction with Agribank's deposit service. To perform this study, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and multiple regression were used to find factors determining customer satisfaction with Agribank services. Customers that use deposit services at Agribank in Bac Giang province, Vietnam, provided samples of 300 survey questionnaires for this study. SPSS software is used to examine the data. Customers' satisfaction with Agribank's deposit service is influenced by six factors, including reliability, responsiveness, service capabilities, empathy, tangible means, and service price, according to the study. This finding also offers some recommendations for improving service quality in local Vietnamese banks to gain a competitive advantage. -

The growth of local fashion brands in Indonesia is interesting because of the speed with which new designs are made, many variants are created, and local brands are developed. However, when it comes to buying local fashion products, the brand isn't the sole consideration. As a result, the marketing effectiveness of local fashion brands needs to be examined more thoroughly. The purpose of this study was to understand more about brand authenticity and how it affects brand usage intentions. The unit of analysis in this study was Generation Z, who purchase from local fashion companies online. A quantitative research methodology was used. The data was analyzed using the PLS-SEM method to test the hypotheses with the dependent variables. The variables were the intention of using the brand, the quality of the brand relationship, and the authenticity of the brand. The results of this study indicated that brand authenticity had an effect on brand usage intent and brand relations quality mediates the positive effect of brand authenticity on brand usage intent. -

The purpose of the study is to analyze the significant impacts of expectations, performance, complaints, and fairness that affect consumer satisfaction. The methodology involves reviewing and referencing relevant literature carefully, then proposing a model for customer satisfaction. This study is empirically based on a survey with 50 respondents who work in the field of import and export in the region stretching from the north to the south of Vietnam. The sampling method used in this study is the in-depth interview method. The results show that: (1) expectation has a specific impact on customer satisfaction, (2) performance has a positive impact on customer satisfaction, and (3) complaint which is an intermediary factor between expectation, performance, and fairness has an impact on satisfaction, (4) fairness has a positive effect on satisfaction, in addition, fairness is an extremely important feature when customers choose an import-export service. Research implies that increasing expectations, performance, and fairness results in an improved customer experience and satisfaction when they use the service. It is suggested that the complaint factor continue to be studied and looked into because it still has some effect on satisfaction and is an intermediate variable that changes how the other factors relate to each other.
