Test colors are halftone dot printed at the rate of 10% halftone dot area by process inksblack, cyan, magenta and yellow ink. Reproduced colors are measured by the weighted-ordinate colorimetric method and the direct colorimetric method. The weighted-ordinate colorimetric method compare favorably with the direct colorimetric method, because the former has good regular changes of tristimuIus values, chromacity coordinates, excitation purities, value functions and has smaller errors of dominant and complementary wavelengths than the latter. All test colors classify with the Munsell renotation.tation.

Recently, it Is required to develop OCR(Optical Character Reader) along with the progress of the information processing system for Hangeul. Characters have to be recognized clearly so that OCR can be applied, Structure analysis method and lump method are used for the recognition of characters, and OCR is now available for the recognition of printed characters and handwritten alphanumeric characters having simple structure by them However, It is known that there should be much more study on the development of handwritten Hangout's OCR. This paper proposed a new method for the handwritten Hangout character recognition. The units of Initial consonant of Hangout are separated and then recognized from the utilization of the position- Information of Hangeul's units from the normalized patterns using the regression line theory. It is carried out for the extraction of the block which exists in the virtual Initial consonant region from the normalized input patterns and the calculation on maximum value (${\beta}$) of likelihood after comparing the features of separated subpattern with the initial consonant dictionary.

One of the rising problems in the field of environmental engineering is the eutrophic phenomenon which appears in the closed water basin. This study is the elimination orthophosphate by adsorption, which is indispensible nutritive element for eutrophication Ziriconium(IV) oxide hydrate-activatedcarbon complex. which has excellent adsorptivity for orthophosphate and can easily be reused after desorption process has been made and used as adsorbents. The main purpose of this study is to obtain intraparticle diffusivity which is basic data for the design of adsorption operation the experimental results were as follows. 1. Optimum condition which gave maxinum adsorption of orthophosphate was ph5 2. Equilibrium adsorption showed good consistency with Freundlich type. q=10.80C1/2.08 3. Pore diffusivity and surface diffusivity obtained the kinetic experiment of batch adsorption were respectivity 5.38 and 2.06 ($\textrm{cm}^2$/sec)

Absorption rates of oxygen in water soluble inks on the printing rollers were measured. As a results of experiments, could be obtained the data of rates of absorption of oxygen in 4 kinds of water soluble inks, and found the difference of absorption rate of oxygen on the parallel plates and rotating rolles.
