The use of holographic standardized patient (HSP) with mixed reality can provide students with the opportunity to enhance clinical reasoning skills. This is still relatively new, so there is a lack of guidelines for educators. Thus, we aimed to develop the instructional model of HSP-based education, for enhancing clinical reasoning skills in undergraduate healthcare education, which could systematically guide educators in designing and implementing HSP-based teaching and learning activities appropriately. Using a design and development research, a theoretically constructed initial mode in this study was iteratively improved and underwent validation through expert review and model usability test. Features of the model were discussed, along with theoretical and practical implications and suggestions for further research.

The digital age start in earnest with the widespread use of the Internet. As a digital product, virtual idols bring new value to the design and dissemination of commercial brand images. "Luo Tianyi" is the world's first avatar and VOCALOID voice bank of Chinese. It has a large number of fans in China and is widely used in brand promotion. Therefore, "Luo Tianyi" is taken as the research object. Initially, we investigated the virtual idols through books, literature on the internet and other materials. Then we discussed semiotics and theories related to culture code brand design methodology (CCBD). After that, putting the above theories into practice, combined with brand design cases, we analyzed the strategy of virtual idols in brand promotion and dissemination, at last, we have the conclusion as followed. The results show that the virtual idols, visual symbol of "Luo Tianyi" can express the Index and Symbol corresponding to the brand information according to the characteristics of the brand. As an image of cultural code, "Luo Tianyi" can present three visual images at the same time, which are contemporary, traditional and future. In addition, these three visual images are presented in a strong and weak combination, which has a positive impact on the visual communication of the brand.

For proper socialization of children the psychological and emotional state of parents that affect children is very important. Recently, while interest in various psychological behavioral problems of children has increased, various studies have been conducted on parental psychology that affects children's emotions. In particular, due to COVID-19, stress has increased throughout society, and it has made parental psychology and childrearing more difficult. Therefore, we aim to investigate the effects of psychological factors, among the variables of various parents that affect children's problem behavior in this study. As a result of this study, it can be confirmed that there is a difference in the effect of parental depression on children's internalizing and externalizing behaviors. Parental depression had a significant positive effect on children's internalizing behavior with 𝛽 =.34, p<.001. In other words, the higher the parents' depression, the higher the child's internalization behavior. And parental depression was found to have a significant effect on children's externalizing behavior, with 𝛽 =.81, p<.001. This also means that the higher the parents' depression, the higher the child's externalizing behavior. Therefore, it can be seen that parental depression is an important factor influencing both children's internalizing and externalizing behaviors.

This study examines the association between ownership structure and labor investment efficiency. Specifically, this study investigates whether owner-manager firms, where managers own a large percentage of shares in the firm, involve in more efficient labor investment. Based on the management entrenchment hypothesis, managers are more likely to make labor investment decisions to maximize their private benefits rather than creating value for shareholders, resulting in lower efficiency in labor investment. On the other hand, according to the incentive alignment hypothesis, managers tend to make labor investment decisions that will improve future firm performance as their interests are aligned with those of shareholders. In this situation, owner-manager firms are expected to have higher efficiency in labor investment. Our empirical results show that owner-manager firms engage in more efficient labor investment, which contributes to long-term firm value. This study provides empirical evidence that firms' labor investment behavior can vary depending on the characteristics of the ownership structure.

North Korea's development and deployment of nuclear weapons increases Pyongyang's diplomatic bargaining leverage. It is a strategic response to counteract the great expansion in US leverage with the collapse of the USSR. Post-Cold War American influence and hegemony is justified partly by claiming victory in successfully containing an allegedly imperialist Soviet Union. The US created and led formal and informal international institutions as part of its decades-long containment grand strategy against the USSR. The US now exploits these institutions to expedite US unilateral global preeminence. Third World regimes perceived as remnants of the Cold War era that resist accommodating to American demands are stereotyped as rogue states. Rogue regimes are criminal offenders who should be brought to justice, i.e. regime change is required. The initiation of summit diplomacy between US President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un occurred following the January 2018 Hawaiian ballistic missile false alarm. This event and its political consequences illustrate the efficacy of nuclear weapons as bargaining leverage for so-called rogue actors. North Korea is highly unlikely to surrender those weapons that were the instigation for the subsequent summit diplomacy that occurred. A broader, critical trend-focused strategic analysis is necessary to adopt a longer-term view of the on-going Korean nuclear crisis. The aim would be to conceptualize long-term policies that increase the probability that nuclear weapons capability becomes a largely irrelevant issue in interaction between Pyongyang, Seoul, Beijing and Washington.

Psychological support is crucial in navigating one's academic and professional lives, especially for students living abroad and pursuing higher education. This study aims to explore the narratives of social support seeking in a group of Korean international graduate students in an urban university setting in the United States. Qualitative research method of narrative approach was used to examine how three Korean graduate students exchanged psychological support. Analysis of interviews, observations, and documents found that four types of social support (informational, instrumental, appraisal, and emotional) were being exchanged and that emotional support was accessible predominantly in individual meetings than in group gatherings. Additionally, the reasons for abstaining from initiating group gatherings are discussed in relation to the Korean culture where participants were mindful of not infringing on each other's time. These findings inform theory on socio psychological support seeking and its relation to cultural values and offer practical insights into psychological support in international students in higher education settings.

The South Korean military has undergone four changes in operating methods since its inception with 31 nursing officers in August 1948. While it initially began as a special unit for nursing and other specialized services, it later expanded to include various fields including technology, administration, and special forces. However, analysis shows that there have been few significant changes in how it operates and remains largely centered around technology, administration, and special forces. With the development of advanced science and technology and a decrease in military resources, there is a need for the South Korean military to proactively expand its use of female personnel, as has been done by the US military, Canadian military, Israeli military with female conscription, and Norwegian military. In order to achieve this, there needs to be a cultural shift towards co-ed military units, improvements in facilities and equipment, adequate pay and benefits, and resolution of childcare issues through institutional reforms. -

This study suggests a revised model of Lévi-Strauss' culinary triangle, which is frequently cited in food-related articles. To scrutinize how the media shares content about food and to remediate food discourse, this study conducted a focus group interview and targeted food program viewers and classified discoursal elements or nodes by Nvivo qualitative tools. In the process of classification, it found what seems to be hard to explain in the current food culture with Lévi-Strauss' culinary triangle, even if it still depicts appropriately, in the post-modern era implied complexity. Then, it arranged obtained discoursal nodes and analyzed the relationship between them. Interestingly, food in media plays as an important role beyond food itself, such as it can trigger memories, create social divides, play a role in economic invigoration, etc. Consequently, this paper suggests the revised culinary triangle model expanded from Lévi-Strauss' in which traces the molding process of food remediation with discoursal nodes in stages.

Chinese figure painting is the earliest type of painting to be mature in the history of Chinese painting. After its peak in the Jin and Tang dynasties, Chinese figure painting turned into a low tide in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Under the influence of the May Fourth New Culture Movement's concept of "introducing the Western culture into China", realistic ink wash figure painting emerged, which was different from traditional painting. Realistic ink wash figure painting is a new kind of painting that combines traditional Chinese painting methods with concepts of Western scientific painting. With the mutual reconciliation of realistic modeling and traditional Chinese painting, it makes up for the shortcomings of traditional Chinese figure painting in reproducing life, thus forming the diversified development of Chinese figure painting. Through an in-depth interpretation of the fusion of Chinese realistic ink figure painting with Chinese and Western, this paper accurately grasps the characteristics of the painting language, which is an important guide to the creation of Chinese realistic ink painting today.

The ecological expression of art in modern society takes the harmonious developmental relationship between man and nature as an element and combines it with the various manifestations of painting as an expression of ecological artistic development. The necessary relationship for the harmonious development of nature is accurately articulated, and the ecological changes in people are expressed in integrated materials that inspire human reflection. In the pursuit of material pleasures, mankind is neglectful and indifferent to the environment. The development of composite painting in art and ecology is a process that more reveres the harmony between man and nature as well as satisfying the creative value of the work. After systematic evaluation and research, people have engaged in various structural forms of composite art painting development in the long history of art development, focusing on the integration of environmental and ecological culture. In the process of nature education going through development, the comprehensive practical development of nature education is enhanced and efforts are made to feel new ecological art ideas and new ways of valuing environmental protection. In this paper, an observational study of eco-art will be carried out, starting from the theory of hierarchical division and analyzing the contradictory relationship between man and nature. Recognize nature, understand it and feel it through eco-art painting. The analysis of the contradictory relationship between man and nature is combined with the identification of various types of information that give value to the environmental protection public, and the combination of ecological painting and nature art to achieve an upgrade of the environmental protection idea of the value of painting. In the development of artistic ecological comprehensive painting, it is necessary to put forward technical requirements and standards that meet the development of modern industry according to the characteristics and methods of ecological painting. The author of this paper discusses the necessity and social value of artistic ecological painting creation from the artist's point of view, expounds the practical achievements of ecological painting from the perspective of the history and present situation of the development of ecological aesthetics at home and abroad, and gives the concept and creative method of contemporary art comprehensive material painting in combination with his own actual situation.

Watercolour painting was introduced to China over a hundred years ago, and in the last two decades, it has developed rapidly, presenting a situation of diversified development. While Western-style watercolour painting has been adopted by Chinese painters, they have also expanded on it with their own aesthetic awareness and cognitive styles. As a result, Chinese watercolour painting has developed a set of expressive techniques that highlight the cultural characteristics of the nation in terms of aesthetics, concepts and techniques, resulting in a painting style with a distinctive national personality at present. Although Chinese watercolour painting has taken on a variety of styles with the intervention of modern and contemporary art, realistic watercolour painting is still the mainstream. However, there are obvious differences between the "realism" of Chinese watercolour painting and the "realism" of Western watercolour painting in terms of expression. The most distinctive feature is the "imagery" language of expression, which is closely linked to the cultural heritage of Chinese tradition and is of great value for research. I interpret the aesthetics, composition, colour and brushwork of Chinese realistic watercolour painting from the perspective of traditional Chinese aesthetics in order to deepen the understanding of Chinese realistic watercolour painting and to provide a reference for the further development of the art of Chinese realistic watercolour painting.

The government has defined domestic violence as one of the four major social evils and tried to prepare laws and systems to prevent it. Nevertheless, domestic violence has emerged as a serious social issue, and compare to the number of domestic violence cases that are constantly increasing, the report rate of domestic violence is significantly lower. This suggests the need to improve citizens' perception of domestic violence as the issue to solve it together in society, not as a private matter at home. Most of existing contents for preventing domestic violence and improving awareness are simple viewing forms of video contents, which have little effect on recognition. We aim to confirm the possibility of improving social awareness about domestic violence by producing Virtual Reality (VR) contents that have great features of user's immersion and empathy. In this VR content, the user can interact with various objects in the virtual reality of domestic violence and directly or indirectly experience the victim's position. Users who view the violent environment from the victim's point of view can have a subjective empathy for the problem, which is expected to induce more active awareness about domestic violence.

The global warming by greenhouse gases causes climate change and disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis frequently, leading to great damage. It is important to build efficient and scalable disaster response services to minimize the damage. Existing disaster warning service by the mobile text is limited by the scalability and the data size to be delivered. In this paper, we propose a framework for disaster response services that is efficient and flexible by allowing to adopt various indexing schemes and scalable by supporting any number of clients in disaster situations anytime and anywhere. Also, the framework by wireless data broadcast can be free from the limitation of the size of data to be delivered. We design and implement the proposed framework and evaluate the framework. For the evaluation, we simulate the implemented framework by adopting various indexing schemes like HCI, DSI and TTSI, and by comparing the access times of the clients. Through the evaluation, we show that the proposed framework can provide efficient and scalable and flexible disaster response services.

The purpose of this study is to measure and compare the balance of motion between the left and right using a wearable sensor during upper limb exercise using an exercise equipment. Eight participants were asked to perform upper limb exercise using exercise equipment, and exercise data were measured through IMU sensors attached to both wrists. As a result of the PCA test, Euler Yaw(Left: 0.65, Right: 0.75), Roll(Left: 0.72, Right: 0.58), and Gyro X(Left: 0.64, Right: 0.63) were identified as the main components in the Butterfly exercise, and Euler Pitch(Left: 0.70, Right 0.70) and Gyro Z(Left: 0.70, Right: 0.71) were identified as the main components in the Lat pull down exercise. As a result of the Paired-T test of the Euler value, Yaw's Peak to Peak at Butterfly exercise and Roll's Mean, Yaw's Mean and Period at Lat pull down exercise were smaller than the significance level of 0.05, proving meaningful difference was found. In the Symmetry Index and Symmetry Ratio analysis, 89% of the subjects showed a tendency of dominant limb maintaining relatively higher angular movement performance then non-dominant limb as the Butterfly exercise proceeds. 62.5% of the subjects showed the same tendency during the Lat pull down exercise. These experimental results indicate that meaningful difference at balance of motion was found according to an increase in number of exercise trials. -
As digital advertising continues to dominate the advertising industry and experience substantial growth, associated criminal activities such as advertising fraud and brand safety risks have become increasingly prevalent. Despite the severity and extent of these crimes, the response in Korea has been lackluster, often perceiving them merely as losses in advertising expenses incurred by corporations. However, it is important to note that these issues have direct repercussions on the end-consumer in the form of increased prices for goods and services. Furthermore, illegal and intrusive advertisements not only cause inconvenience to the viewer, but may also indiscriminately target cognitively vulnerable groups, such as children and the elderly, with the intention of manipulating advertising metrics and artificially inflating performance indicators. In this study, we aim to explore the concept and significance of advertising fraud and brand safety, and to evaluate the current measures taken in the Korean market. Additionally, we will delve into the implications of related policies and emphasize the necessity of digital advertising literacy in addressing these issues.

This study aims to enhance the engineering education for non-majors by incorporating the concept of Global Citizenship Education and addressing the need for education that responds to climate and ecological changes. The study uses robot programming as a tool to foster the development of global citizens. Non-majors often struggle with producing more than just motionless forms or solid productions, due to a lack of understanding of mechanisms and coding. The study proposes the use of the Convergence D-SteamRobot (DSR) to address this issue by blending humanities and engineering. This is achieved by presenting problems through books to increase empathy, integrating simple machine mechanisms, and creating prototypes to solve self-defined problems. Through this process, learners determine the SDGs topic they want to solve and learn about the simple mechanical mechanism involved in producing the prototype. The educational model provides a constructivist learning environment that emphasizes empathy and exploration, encourages peer-learning, and improves divergent thinking and problem-solving skills.

Since the electric vehicle uses an electric motor, problems have arisen as the driver hears the inherent noise of the motor or external noise, which was not a problem in the past, due to the overall lower noise environment than when using an internal combustion engine. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to reduce the noise and vibration of electric motors for electric vehicles, and recently, to increase the speed of high-power, high-efficiency electric motors in a small size, and to develop low-noise motors, IPM motors are applied to produce 35KW electric motors for electric vehicles. A motor for low noise was designed and implemented. N-T Curve and efficiency map were confirmed as the final result of developing a 35KW low-noise motor for electric vehicles by applying the IPM motor applied in this paper. Based on 3500 rpm, Max Torque [Nm]: 121.15, Max Power [KW]: 44.04, and Max Efficiency [%]: 97.65, showing high efficiency. -

This study surveyed the island located in Sinan-gun and Wando-gun four times, once per season from September 2020 to November 2021 in order to understand the distribution of waterbirds on the island of the southwest coast. As a result of the investigation, a total of waterbirds of 7 orders, 12 families of 50 species, and 3,680 individuals were identified. By taxon, the largest number of species were identified as 11 species of waders, and the number of ducks was the largest with 2,035 individuals. In Bigeum-do Island, where forests are distributed less, the proportion of farmland is large, and tidal flats are widely distributed, the largest number of species and individuals of herons and waders were identified. Ducks and gulls have also been identified in large numbers of individuals in Bigeum-do Island. Most of them are forests and farmland, and the largest number of species and individuals of ducks have been identified in Pyeongil-do Island, where the coast is deep. In addition, Nodae-do Island, Sobyeongpung-do, and Daebyeongpung-do Island with monotonous habitats have been identified with fewer species and individuals. As a result, We learned that various types of waterbirds lived in islands with various habitats, and that the preferred habitat was different depending on the characteristics of the taxon group. By season, the largest number of species was identified as 35 in autumn, and the largest number of individuals was identified as 1,681 in winter. Although most of the seasonally identified waterbirds were winter birds, the largest number of species were identified in autumn, and most of the confirmed waterbird migration were identified in the autumn, indicating that waterbirds used the west-south coast islands as an intermediate stopover while traveling.

In this study, to check the function of managing the severity of ultraviolet rays with a smart watch, a popular health care IT device, It was tested whether measuring heart rate using a PPG(Photoplethysmography) sensor representatively used in a smart watch could tell skin changes caused by ultraviolet rays. Through this experiment, we examined the possibility that the skin color tanned by ultraviolet rays can be determined only by the heart rate measurement function of the PPG sensor. In addition, the possibility of expanding the heart rate measurement function of the PPG sensor to the use of skin condition management was considered. we used an Arduino-based reflective PPG sensor to measure changes in heart rate by selecting body sites with high and low UV rays exposure. A significant value was derived through tests considering factors such as gender, UV exposure, and age. As a result, the study identified the possibility of adding ultraviolet rays and skincare items to future smart watch healthcare items and the possibility of expanding skin measurement methods. It is also possible to suggest the direction of future research.
