Today, the art and the architecture face up to the problem of loss of direction. So, the derection of post have been lost. This phenomina cause the second loss of direction, because the mode of pre-modernism is underestimated. After all, the mode and philosophy of after-modernism face up to the new crisis of derection. Present artists, archtectures and designers have to acnieve new trial and study for estimation of aestetics and directions. Ultimately, constant exercise and study of philosophy, morpholophy, morphology, current mode and new materials is necessary to search a methodology. This all have to be accomplished by the clear philosophy. The original identity is formed in environmental basis. So, first, architectures, designers, and artist understand native identity, second, we sho have acadenical and practical faculties impose significance. In case of Europe, the change of mode have led paradigm of culture. The great change of social culture have come out the wave of revolution that cross in design, architecture and art. 1920's of modernism evolve 1960's completion. In the change of life style, functionalism have evolved postmodernnism. But, in this change we do not suggest the new derection that form concrete idea and sympathy. This phenomina appear in the end of a centry, and nowaday is that day. This trends effect on artists, architectures, and designers, and design and will be changed. Finally, we need to study of concrete and new direction in this circumstance.

In the 1970s, the term Post - Modernism came into use to lable work of graphic design who broke up the Swiss style that had defined clarity and order. The characteristics of Post - Modernism graphic design include pluralistic and eclectic style. Those innovation of graphic design concerned with our social, political. cultural, and econonic changes. Deconstruction is one of the theory of Post-structualism. Deconstruction refers to the breaking down of metaphysics, rationalism, totality and so on. Deconstructive graphic design destroys traditional harmony even more than Marinetti's claim. Totality in graphic design seems to be ignored. Post - Modernism in architecture appears as historical revivalism and pluralism. The eclectic revivals and eccentric reinventions in graphic design are far too pluralistic and diverse to fit such as a simplistic system of style. Another innovation in graphic design occurs by electronic revolution. The impact of computer upon graphic design is becoming even more pronounced. Most importantly, Post-Modernism can consider the rediscovered freedom in graphic design. Graphic design is undergoing profound changes. But the essence of graphic design as com$$\mu$ication tools will remain unchanged.

The purpose of this study was to describe patterns of two dimensions, clothes of three dimensions. The IBM 32Bit Computer Graphics was used in this study. TIPS, LUMENA, FREE STYLE and TOP AS were used as soft wares. The procedures of study were as follows; 1.Selection of motives. 2.Selection of color and gradation. 3.Making patterns. 4.Input patterns of two dimensions on TOP AS. 5.Making Mannequin and fashion illustration. 6.Mapping patterns onto fashion illustration.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN(1.D) has been recognized as an independent subject for 30 years 10 KOREA and 70 years in the worldwide. Though the beginning of the 1.D is extended to the commercialization of the art, history of 1.D is still 150 years, and very short compared to the those of other subject. The scientific identity of 1.D has to be established to prepare the role of 1.0 for the information society and industrial society of the 21 century. 1.D contains the essence such as integrated and $$\mu$titude character and two lineaments( Analytic science and Synthetic science-objective and subjective) 1.D has undergone confusion and fallacy in society and educational system. To develop achieve the goal of design education and to the competItIve design country in the world market, the scientific status of I.O has to be established as a integrated and independent subject. This study generally reviewed 1.0 to find the essence and scientific status of subject to determine the direction foward the next century in the view of intellectual structure and system.
