Foreground estimation in object segmentation has been an important issue for last few decades. In this paper we propose a GrabCut based automatic foreground estimation method using block clustering. GrabCut is one of popular algorithms for image segmentation in 2D image. However GrabCut is semi-automatic algorithm. So it requires the user input a rough boundary for foreground and background. Typically, the user draws a rectangle around the object of interest manually. The goal of proposed method is to generate an initial rectangle automatically. In order to create initial rectangle, we use Gabor filter and Saliency map and then we use 4 features (amount of area, variance, amount of class with boundary area, amount of class with saliency map) to categorize foreground and background. From the experimental results, our proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory accuracy in object segmentation without any prior information by the user.
A post-processing program based on the OOP(Object-Oriented Programming) concept has been developed for visualization of MRI. User-friendly GUl(Graphic User Interface) has been built on the base of MFC(Microsoft Foundation Class). The program is organized as modules by classes based on VTK-library, and these classes are made to function through inheritance and cooperation which are an important and valuable concept of object-oriented programming. The major functions of this post-processor program are introduced and demonstrated, which include contour plot, surface plots, cut plot and clip plot as well as view manipulation (translation, rotation, scaling etc).

A new PC-based Engine Control system (ECS) is developed using an object oriented programming method. This system provides more convenient environment for engine tests, easier user interface and extended functions. A Windows-based ECS software is developed with class, and the class structure is built on encapsulation and abstraction. The closed-loop engine control scheme can be easily constructed by using dynamic link library and multitasking. This means that a user can perform desired experiments without clear knowledge of the hardware structure of the ECS. Also this system allows a user to individually control the ignition and fuel injection for each cylinder in a simple manner such as through a keyboard/mouse or in a real-time operation from a closed-loop control program.

LTE 3GPP standard defines several QCI (QoS Class Identifier) classes to provide differential QoS, depending on the requirements of different user applications. These QCI values have been characterized in terms of priority, packet loss and delay budget. In spite of the availability of this robust QoS framework in LTE, there is no such scheduling algorithm that has its working principle based on this framework. The responsibility of fulfilling the user requirements, while satisfying the service class requirements is left upon the cellular service provider and it is an open issue at present. To solve this problem, we have proposed a MAC scheduler, which defines the priority of different users based on their bearer specification and provides desired QoS in terms of the achieved throughput through the resource block allocation based on calculated user priority.

LTE (Long Term Evolution) supports QoS (Quality of Service) with several service classes. For each class of traffic, a big difference exists on BER (Bit Error Rate) requirement. This leads to a considerable difference in transmission power for various classes of traffic. In this paper, a novel scheduler is designed and proposed for LTE which supports CoS (Class of Service) with the consideration of priority as well as target BER. By the CQI (Channel Quality Indicator) and QCI (QoS Class Identifier), a minimum transmission power is assigned from the target BER for each class of traffic per each user. Hence, with the other information such as user's used rate in the past and the priority of traffic, the probability of occupying channels is determined. The simulation results of Service Class scheduling are compared with that of Maximum Rate and Proportional Fair. The results show that the service class-aided scheduling can improve the throughput of whole system significantly.

Mobile WiMAX system provides various classes of traffic such as real-time and non-realtime services. These services have different QoS requirements and the QoS aware scheduling has been an important issue. Although many of scheduling algorithms for various services in OFDMA system have been proposed, it is needed to be modified to be applied to Mobile WiMAX system. Since Mobile WiMAX supports five kinds of service classes, it is important to take QoS characteristics of each class into consideration. In this paper, we propose an efficient packet scheduling algorithm to support QoS of each class. Proposed scheme selects a service class first considering QoS Characteristics of each class and choose an appropriate user in the selected class. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance than the other algorithm.

Recently, with the development of IT technology, there is an increasing interest in cloud services as the number of users using mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets is increasing. However, there is a need for techniques to control or control various methods of accessing data as the user's service demands increase. In this paper, we propose a dual key based user authentication model that improves the user 's authentication efficiency by using two keys (secret key and access control key) to access the users accessing various services provided in the cloud environment. In the proposed model, the operation process and the function are divided through the sequence diagram of the algorithms (key generation, user authentication, permission class permission, etc.) for controlling the access right of the user with dual keys. In the proposed model, two keys are used for user authentication and service authorization class to solve various security problems in the cloud service. In particular, the proposed model is one of the most important features in that the algorithm responsible for access control of the user determines the service class of the user according to the authority, thereby shortening the management process so that the cloud administrator can manage the service access permission information of the user.
Purpose Many students have concerned about the quality and operation of online courses with universities offering online courses to avoid the spread of COVID-19. To deepen our understanding of university online class systems, this research aims to assess students' satisfaction with online class systems and continuous usage intention on the basis of the perceived benefits and expectation confirmation theory. Design/methodology/approach This paper empirically analyzes the impact of each perceived benefit on user satisfaction and the intention to use it continuously by dividing the perceived benefits considered in existing literature into utilitarian benefits (convenience), emotional benefits (pleasure), and symbolic benefits (personal benefits). Moreover, the perceived expectations and performance have also been assessed with its impact on satisfaction and the intention to continue use. Data collected from 241 university students were empirically tested against a research model. Findings Analysis results showed that perceived advantages (comfort, enjoyment and personalized benefit) significantly affect user satisfaction and that perceived benefits have positive effects on the intention to continue use whereas the expected confirmation do not significantly influence on the intention to continue use.
Image segmentation and supervised classification techniques are widely used to monitor the ground surface using high-resolution remote sensing images. In order to classify various objects, a process of defining a class corresponding to each object and selecting samples belonging to each class is required. Existing methods for extracting class samples should select a sufficient number of samples having similar intensity characteristics for each class. This process depends on the user's visual identification and takes a lot of time. Representative samples of the class extracted are likely to vary depending on the user, and as a result, the classification performance is greatly affected by the class sample extraction result. In this study, we propose an image classification technique that minimizes user intervention when extracting class samples by applying the histogram back-projection technique and has consistent intensity characteristics of samples belonging to classes. The proposed classification technique using histogram back-projection showed improved classification accuracy in both the experiment using hue subchannels of the hue saturation value transformed image from Compact Advanced Satellite 500-1 imagery and the experiment using the original image compared to the technique that did not use histogram back-projection.

Appropriate distribution and utilization of learning time in class are regarded as essential and basic conditions for successful education. Nonetheless, among studies about UCR(User Created Robot) based instruction so far is difficult to find the research related to the class. For these reasons, we attempt to analyze the ALT(Actual Learning Time) and unuse of learning time in UCR based instruction. For these purpose, we observed three students who were with third and fourth grade integrated class of elementary school and interviewed the teachers at pre-post class. The result of this study showed the following results: (1) UCR based instruction present lower ALT than traditional classes. (2) Most of the unnecessary time used in their classes tend to be used in preparing and arranging the robot module, a little is used unnecessarily because of the students' unrelated behaviors for their learning, decentralized behaviors and other external influences.
