In-depth Understanding of STEM Information Needs using FGI

  • In the rapidly changing science and technology environment, an in-depth understanding of users of STEM information is an essential factor in designing a user-centered information system. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze in-depth the behaviors and needs of users who use STEM information. In this study, the needs of users for STEM information and STEM information sites are dealt with in depth using the FGI qualitative method. In addition, it includes the analysis results of grouping of similar sites according to various aspects of use of STEM information sites. As a result of grouping similar sites based on awareness and level of use,, they were grouped by domestic-international, paid-free, integrated-specific fields. As a result of grouping similar sites according to the purpose of use, they were grouped by domestic and international papers, research reports, and patents. As a result of grouping similar sites according to usage attributes, they were grouped by diversity, reliability, and specialization. As for the positions of similar sites perceived by users, Science Direct and PubMed showed high specialization and high quality, Google Scholar showed integration and popularity, and RISS showed four attributes evenly. Suggestions for information system design are discussed.

온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스 이용의도에 관한 연구: 의인화의 매개효과 (A Study on Intention to Use Online Shopping mall Chatbot Services: Mediating Effect of Anthropomorphism)

  • 본 연구는 UTAUT 이론을 적용하여 온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스 이용의도를 살펴보고 이들 간의 관계에서 의인화의 매개효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경남지역 A대학 재학생들 표본집단으로 2024년 5월 1째 주부터 2째 주까지 약 2주간 온라인 설문조사(Google Docs)를 진행하였으며, 응답한 250명 중에서 불성실응답자 5명을 제외한 245명을 최종분석에 사용하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스에 대한 UTAUT 요인 중에서 성과기대, 노력기대, 촉진조건, 사회적 영향은 의인화에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 상대적 영향력은 성과기대, 사회적 영향, 촉진조건, 노력기대 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스에 대한 의인화는 이용의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스에 대한 UTAUT 요인 중에서 성과기대, 노력기대, 촉진조건, 사회적 영향은 이용의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 상대적 영향력은 촉진조건, 사회적 영향, 성과기대, 노력기대 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 온라인 쇼핑몰 챗봇 서비스에 대한 UTAUT 요인과 이용의도간의 관계에서 의인화의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 연구결과는 학술적으로 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용 이론에 기여한다. 또한 챗봇 의인화가 고객의 기술 수용을 촉진할 수 있음을 확인하였다는데 실무적 의의가 있다. 이러한 결과는 챗봇 서비스의 인간적 요소가 기술 수용에 중요한 역할을 하며 이를 통해 사용자 경험과 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 경남지역 A대학 재학생을 대상으로 한정되어 있어 결과의 일반화에 제한이 있을 수 있으며, 향후 연구에서는 지역적, 인구학적 다양성을 고려한 더 광범위한 표본을 선정하고, 다양한 수집 방법을 활용하여 데이터의 신뢰성과 타당성을 강화할 필요가 있다.

광주광역시 원도심 중심상업지역의 블록 특성 및 유형화 (Classification and characteristic of Central Commercial Area Block Development, Gwang-ju)

  • The purpose of this study is to categorize Commercial area by identifying characteristics of blocks and coding them in order to segment use zoning in Commercial area. The study was conducted as follows. Data from building register, cadastral map, statistics annual report are utilized to identify the physical environment of the block. four types used as code under the physical environment classification code which are classification code of physical environment, detail usage, volume ratio, and height type are set, and combine the classification codes sorted by the four types of code. Through the physical environment classification codes, there are currently 37 different block characteristics of the Old downtown Commercial area. Diversity is not reflected. There are only Central commercial area of regulations in Old downtown commercial areas that are uniformly managed. For the renewal, management and development that can occur in the near future, it is necessary to segment of use district in the commercial area. Consider the current situation and future development direction for the management of sustainable commercial areas. Management is required using physical environment classification codes. It is meaningful that it can be maintained, managed and developed in accordance with the characteristics of each block.

생태산업적 지역농업의 자원순환시스템 유형 및 구축방안 (A Study on the Resource Circulation System and Construction of the Regional Agriculture focused on Eco-industrial Approach)

  • The objectives of this study were to analysis the nutrient cycles of agricultural by-products. The region, in which agricultural by-products are circulated for use within the agroecosystem for minimizing the input of artificial nutrients as well as generation of wastes, and where ecologically industrial diversity is formed, was defined as the regional agriculture focused on eco-industrial approach. Plan in stages for promoting ahead with the regional agriculture focused on eco-industrial approach is as follows: First of all, "The Consultation Body for Circulating & Using By-products" should be formed. Secondly, usage of agricultural by-products is identified to select the facilities of recycling and its location including the type and amount. Thirdly, the facilities for recycling of resources and infrastructure are installed. Finally, the facilities for recycling and resource circulation system within the area are efficiently managed.

  • This study was fulfilled in the purpose of proposing construction strategies of fashion information industry through the analysis of information user's satisfaction/dissatisfaction on information quality. The research was performed through a depth interview. Data were collected from 18 fashion information users(designers and merchandisers) who were working at fashion apparel industry during October to November 2007. Results from the study showed that there were three dimensions and 18 components of satisfaction/dissatisfaction on fashion information quality: Information quality(understandability, value-added, level of detail, relevance, diversity, objectivity, completeness, accuracy, quantitativeness), Service quality(responsiveness, accessibility, cost efficiency, empathy, reliability), System quality(currency, ease of use, format, timeliness). And the information users were perceiving that there were some changes in notion of preferring information, searching for information and usage of information.

불어 축소어의 음소화 연구 (A Study on Phonemicization in French Abbreviation)

  • The abbreviation (specially, an acronym) are used more nowadays. However we are using them carelessly unknowing that there are some reducing patterns. In this paper, we will first analyse the right oralization and the phonemicization of abbreviation on the basis of the group types. Then, we will propose necessary and sufficient conditions to recognize how to read or pronounce the acronyms and in which way, when they are converted from the text to the speech. We have limited the use of acronym to the graphem-phoneme relations, and the diversity of the usage to minimized, and therefore we could define clearly the characteristics of the phonetic chains. In conclusion, we could find that there are more phonemicization in producing acronyms with these phonetic chains characteristics, and these phonetic based acronyms are increasingly used in the field of aviation and medicine.

부엌가구디자인 효율화를 위한 식생활물품 체크리스트 (The Checklist Based on Stored items of Cooking for Kitchen Furniture Design)

  • Despite the steady effort of kitchen furniture industry, consumers' complains never seem to decrease. The common storage problem of the houses of different sizes(20 pyeong, 30 pyeong, and 40 pyeong) was the dificiency of storage area and inadequate shelf division. It implies that such dificiency in kitchens is not because of the size of storage area, but because of such a great diversity of kitchenware and lack of studies on these items. The purpose of this research is to provide the checklist of the variety and quantity of stored kitchenware in researched area and easily adopt it to the kitchen furniture design. Studied household in average hold 239 types and about 890 items. The size of residence did not effect the number much. The first step of making the checklist is to categorize items into 9 biggest categories considering the usage of items and in which step of the preparing food the item was used. Second step is to categorize the items into 31 smaller categories reflecting the shape of items, the storage style and the place of storage. Third step is to sort the items into smallest categories by the frequency of use, storage type, and additional capacity of an item. Even when items are sorted into the same higher level of categories, the frequency of use caused storage area to differ. Also, storage style of an item differed according to the storage area. Based on these factors, we listed items in detail and made the checklist.

  • The development in modern world media made information expansion and conversion much easier. These changes in media environment required a lot of companies to quickly respond to the overall environment and come up with new appropriate marketing strategies. Companies use experiential exhibition halls to enhance their images. The goal of the research is to set the basis for digital signage exhibition production characteristics as a spatial mechanism by presenting the need to use the digital signage as a tool. Digital signage expands senses and connects internal and external space. There are many types of digital signage (display, projection, special media, etc) and they are informative, aesthetic, inductive, and amusing. For research methods, Korean companies' exhibition halls sample analysis and surveys were executed to analyze the awareness, expression characteristics, effects, and usage status of digital signage. In conclusion, corporate exhibition halls should: 1. be an interesting and comfortable space that can be used as a communication tool between the company and consumers 2. increase corporate potentials and faith by expanding human senses and inducing new experiences 3. continue to capture the interest of spectators through diversity.

자본시장 심리지수의 수용요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Acceptance Factors of the Capital Market Sentiment Index)

  • 본 연구는 비정형 빅 데이터를 가공하여 추출된 투자자 감성을 반영하여 만든 자본시장 심리지수(Market Sentiment Index: MSI)의 수용요인을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 합리적 행동이론에 근거한 외생변수들을 탐색하고 기술수용모형(Technology Acceptance Model: TAM)을 응용하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 주식시장에서 투자자에게 제공되는 MSI의 수용은 본 연구에서 제시한 외생변수에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 확인되었다. 인과관계 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기효능감, 투자기회확장, 혁신적 성향, 사용비용이 인지된 용이성에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 서비스다양성과 인지된 효익은 인지된 유용성에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 인지된 용이성과 인지된 유용성은 사용태도에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 사용태도는 사용의도에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치고 독립변수인 투자기회확장이 사용의도에 영향을 미친다. 다섯째, 사용의도는 최종 종속변수인 지속적 사용의도에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미친다. 연구모형의 독립변수와 종속변수 간의 매개효과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스다양성에서 지속적 사용의도의 인과경로에 간접효과가 0.1491로 유의수준 1%에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 인지된 효익에서 지속적 사용의도의 인과경로에 간접효과가 0.1281로 유의수준 1%에서 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 다중집단분석에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주식투자경험이 있는 집단과 없는 집단의 투자자 태도, 투자자 주관적 규범, 소셜 빅 데이터 시스템의 특성요인에 대한 사전인지(지식)등에 포함된 세부 독립변수가 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 경로별 영향도의 차이와 통계적 유의성에 대한 분석은 두 집단 간 측정동일성이 확보되지 않아 불가능하였다. 둘째, 두 집단 간 측정동일성이 확보된 남, 여 집단의 세부 독립변수가 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 경로별 영향도 차이에 대한 분석결과, 사용태도에서 사용의도의 인과경로에서는 여성이 남성보다 높은 것으로 그리고 사용의도에서 지속적 사용의도의 인과경로에서는 남성이 매우 높은 것으로 유의수준 5%에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.

한국 월출산 국립공원 지역민들이 이용하는 약용식물에 대한 민족식물학적 연구 (Ethnobotanical Study of Medicinal Plants used by Indigenous People in Wolchulsan National Park, Korea)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to document the use of medicinal plants in traditional practices and to analyze and evaluate medicinal traditional knowledge of indigenous people in Wolchulsan National Park. Methods : Data were collected through interviews, informal meetings, open and group discussions, and observations guided by semi-structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed via quantitative analysis of use value (UV), informant consensus factor (ICF) and fidelity level (FL), and network analysis. Results : A total of 580 methods of usage recorded in this study were classified into 55 families, 95 genera, and 104 species. Plants with the highest recorded UVs were Glycine max (L.) Merr., Leonurus japonicus Houtt., and Artemisia princeps Pamp.. The informant consensus factor about using medicinal plants ranged from 0.55 to 0.92, which showed a high level of agreement among the informants on respiratory system disorders and pains. There were 22 species of plants with a fidelity level of 100 %, after eliminating the plants that were mentioned only once from the analysis. Finally, using network analysis, Glycine max (L.) Merr. and Artemisia princeps Pamp. were defined as species with meaningful medicinal use, while lumbago and leg pain were defined as significant ailments in the study area. Conclusions : This study highlights the diversity and importance of medicinal traditional knowledge for communities of Wolchulsan National Park, Korea. The results of this study will provide basic data for phytochemical and pharmaceutical studies, such as new medicines and therapies.
