초등 교사의 디지털 교과서에 대한 인식 - 디지털 역량에 대한 인식과 디지털 교과서 활용 경험을 중심으로 (Elementary School Teachers' Perception of Digital Textbooks through Analysis of Perception of Digital Competence and Experience in Using Digital Textbooks)

  • 이 연구는 디지털 교과서 개발에의 시사점을 도출하기 위해 초등 교사의 디지털 교과서에 대한 인식을 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저, 디지털 교과서의 기능을 8가지로 설정하고 각 기능마다 2개~6개의 세부기능을 설정하였다. 이후 이 기능을 기준으로 전국의 초등 교사 372명에게 디지털 역량에 대한 인식, 코로나19 이후 디지털 교과서 활용 경험, 디지털 교과서에 대한 인식을 묻는 설문을 실시하였다. 디지털 역량 인식에 따른디지털 교과서에 대한 인식을 살펴보기 위해 단순회귀분석을, 디지털 교과서 활용 경험에 따른 디지털 교과서에대한 인식을 분석하기 위해 일원배치 분산분석의 방법을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 초등 교사의 디지털 역량에대한 인식은 디지털 교과서의 모든 기능에 대한 필요성을 인식하는 데 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 디지털 역량이 필요하고 중요하다고 인식할수록 디지털 교과서의 '운영 및 관리 기능'에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 디지털 교과서를 자주 사용하는 교사들이 그렇지 않은 교사보다 '검색'과 '저작 도구 제공' 기능을 제외한 디지털 교과서의 기능에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 현장 친화적인 디지털 교과서를 성공적으로 개발하기 위해 초등 교사의 디지털 역량에 대한 긍정적인 인식 제고와 디지털 교과서 사용 경험의 확대를 지원할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

중년남성의 삶의 질에 대한 연구 (A Study of Quality of Life in Middle-aged Men)

  • This study was undertaken to examine the degree of quality of life and to analyze the factors affecting those quality of life in middle-aged men. Method: The subjects of this study were 208 men aged by 35-55 from 3 business enterprises located in Seoul and Incheon. Data collection was conducted through the use of 5 questionnaire. Result: There were significant differences in the quality of life according to marital status, religion, educational level, number of children and total house income. A positive correlation was found between quality of life and all independent variables i.e., health promoting behaviors, health perception, social support, self-esteem and self-efficacy. Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor was self-esteem. Self- esteem, health perception, health promoting behaviors, marriage, and social support accounted for 65% of the variance in quality of life in middle-aged men. Conclusion: All independent variables i.e., health promoting behaviors, health perception, social support, self-esteem and self-efficacy were related with quality of life in middle-aged men. Therefore it is necessary to develop the nursing intervention with these variables to increase the quality of life for middle-aged men.

예능프로그램 자막의 특성과 수용자 인식에 미치는 영향 : JTBC <비정상회담> 텍스트 분석 (Characteristics of Entertainment Program Subtitles and Effects on the Audience's Perception : Text Analysis of JTBC )

  • 예능프로그램에서 자막은 보충적인 설명이나 음향을 보완하는 보조적인 역할에서 재미와 감동을 극대화시키는 흥미유발형 자막 형태로 발전하였다. 본 연구는 JTBC <비정상회담>을 중심으로, 흥미유발형 자막의 특성과 시청자에게 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구방법론으로는 내용분석과 텍스트 분석을 병행하였다. 내용분석 결과, 전체 자막 수에 대비하여 흥미유발형 자막은 약 10~20%로 매회 일정비율을 유지하고, 제작진은 출연진의 캐릭터 구축 및 강화를 위해 출연진에게 별명을 설정하여 반복적으로 사용하고 있었다. 텍스트 분석 결과, 수용자는 프로그램에서 주로 사용된 자막 내용에 따라 출연진을 인식하고 있었다. 예능프로그램에서 제작진이 주관적으로 개입하여 의도적으로 사용하는 흥미유발형 자막은 출연진의 이미지를 형성하고, 수용자가 출연진을 인식하는 데 중요한 영향을 미쳤다. 자막을 사용하는 데 있어, 제작진의 신중한 자세와 능동적인 정보 소비자로서의 시청자의 역할이 필요하다.

중등 초임 수학교사들의 컴퓨터 활용의 인식에 따른 활용도에 대한 연구 (A Study on Utilization Frequency by Beginning Secondary Mathematics Teachers' Perception of Computer Utilization)

  • This study investigated the perception and utilization about computer of beginning secondary mathematics teachers by utilization frequency of computer. To increase utilization frequency of computer in school mathematics, our finding shows that beginning secondary mathematics teachers should have an interest in computer utilization and perceive computers as an important tool for mathematics learning. In addition, they are likely to use more frequently computer under the condition that computers have sufficient class materials and supplement their shortcomings that have derived less usage in math classes. Therefore, future studies have to investigate not only how to develope textbooks and run after-school classes but also how to make creative discretional activities by computer, which makes computers more useful for teacher training. In sum, the results of case studies for computer usability should be released to motivate computer utilization and increase mathematical thinking ability.

청소년 대상 라돈 위해 의사전달 경로 선정을 위한 인식도 조사 연구 (A Study on Perception for Risk Communication Channel Selection for Radon for Youth)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to obtain basic data on the development of a risk communication model through an investigation of risk perception for radon and identify effective risk communication channels. Methods: A questionnaire was used to evaluate differences in perception level according to respective communication channels. A chi-squared test was used to analyze the difference in pre- and post-risk communication by communication channel. One-way ANOVA was used to analyze the difference in the radon risk perception rate for each communication channel. Results: All of the communication channels resulted in increased radon risk perception, but there was no statistical difference between them in terms of perception (p>0.05). However, based on previous findings that it is effective to use a multi-channel approach, it is considered that communication channels based on duplicate avenues is most appropriate. Conclusions: It is expected that this study will be used as basic data to better understand the formation of public opinion about radon risk and to understand the social reaction to each risk factor.

취업남녀의 시간부족인식과 시간활용: 1999년과 2009년의 생활시간자료 비교 (A Study on Perceived Time Pressure and Time Use: Focusing on the Employed Men and Women in Korea by Using 1999 and 2009 Time Diary Data)

  • This study attempted to estimate the level of perceived lack of time in Korean society, to link it to time management and to identify the possible association that accounts for time shortage. I employed the gender perspective in order to reveal the dynamics and complexity of the perception of a lack of time in the population. The sample for the study was drawn from the 1999 and 2009 Korean time diary data collected by the Korean National Statistical Office. From the original data, I selected a sample of second shift families(men and women who are presently working and raising children) living in metropolitan areas(including Seoul and six major urban areas in Korea). The dependent variable was time pressure measured by a single-item question on a four-point likert scale. The results of the study showed that working mothers perceived a greater time shortage as compared to working fathers. The time use pattern showed change during the periods, indicating that people worked fewer hours in paid labor and enjoyed more leisure hours and personal care hours. However, on average, people seemed to have experienced a greater time lack in 2009 as compared to 1999. The results from the ordered logistic regression model revealed that even though there were similarities in the impact of relevant factors, men's perception of a lack of time was more closely linked with their work role and social status, while for women, this perception was influenced by work and family duties. This indicates that Korean working mothers and fathers are facing a double jeopardy of time shortage in terms of combining their work and family roles. As a result, the level of time pressure by gender is converging toward a "never enough" phase. These findings generated policy implications and detailed suggestions.

Speech Perception and Production of English Postvocalic Voicing by Korean and English Speakers

  • The main purpose of this study is to investigate whether Korean learners can use the vowel duration cue to distinguish voicing contrasts in word-final consonants in English. Given that the Korean group's performance on the auditory task was much better than their performance on the identification task or on the production task, we conclude that the AX discrimination task makes contact with a different layer of perception. In particular, the AX discrimination task can be done at the auditory or phonetic level, where differences in vowel length are still encoded in the representation. In contrast, the identification and production tasks are probing the mental representation of vowel length and voicing. It was also founded that Korean speakers stored neither vowel length nor voicing in memorized representations and did not internalize the lengthening of the preceding vowel as a rule to differentiate the voicing contrasts of final consonants, even though they were able to detect the acoustic differences in vowel duration provided that they were tested in an appropriate task.

제7차 교육과정 실행에 관한 교사의 인식 분석 (A Study on Teachers' Perception of the 7th Curriculum Implementation)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teachers' perception of the 7th curriculum implementation. The subjects were 540 elementary school teachers. Investigation was conducted with questionaires which have 40 questions in 4 domains about the 7th curriculum. The results of the study were as follows: First, teachers' perception level of curriculum implementation was mechanical use(level 3). Second, in the comparison of level by implementing domains, the domains of the essential, ideology, educational objectives and evaluation were lower than the domains of educational contents, teaching methods and materials. Third, in the comparison of teachers' personal characterristics, there was no difference between male and female in all domains. But, by teaching career, experienced teachers were higher level in all domains. Also by length of in-service training with the 7th curriculum, when they have longer in-service training, they showed a higher level of curriculum implementation.

문자그래픽 시각인지도 분석 기반 디지털매체 시청환경 개선 연구 (A Study on Improving Watching Digital-Broadcasting Devices Environment by Analyzing Visual Perception of Character Graphic)

  • A number of new DTV technologies have been introduced to provide crystal clear picture and enhanced sound. HDTV, in particular has four times resolution of conventional TV along with 16:9 aspect ratio. Also the introduction of the new technologies offered a valuable basis for character graphics which was only an assistant method to deliver visual images effectively. Various sizes of displays for different applications such as high definition TV and mobile multimedia services have created demands for additional features of character graphics including proper letter fonts, colors, moving effects as much. This article analyzes in what way the visual elements above can affect uses' visual perception. New CG formats designed for OSMU, one source multi use, are also suggested available to each media. For the research three groups of CG designers, art directors and productions/distribution groups are established according to production process by two Delphi surveys of TV production staff.

Role of amplitude and pitch in the perception of Japanese stop length contrasts

  • This study presents experiments which examined the role of amplitude and fundamental frequency (f0) in the phonetic perception of short versus long stop length contrasts in Japanese (e.g., [t] vs. [tt]). Stop length contrasts are normally characterized by differences in the duration of stop closures. However, closure duration can be unreliable as a perceptual cue when one considers variability in the rate at which people speak. Acoustically, the amplitude and f0 of the vowel following stop consonants are known to covary with the length distinction of stops in Japanese. Given this fact, the current study examined amplitude and f0 as potential secondary cues to the distinction. The results indicate that even though both amplitude and f0 are robust correlates, Japanese listeners do not use these cues in categorizing short versus long stops.
