  • This study focused on user trust in ChatGPT, a generative AI technology, and explored the factors that affect usage status and intention to continue using, and whether the influence of trust varies depending on the purpose. For this purpose, the survey was conducted targeting people in their 20s and 30s who use ChatGPT the most. The statistical analysis deploying IBM SPSS 27 and SmartPLS 4.0. A structural equation model was formulated on the foundation of Bhattacherjee's Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM), employing path analysis and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) for hypothesis validation. The main findings are as follows: Firstly, ChatGPT is mainly used for specific needs or objectives rather than as a daily tool. The majority of users are cognizant of its hallucination effects; however, this did not hinder its use. Secondly, the hypothesis testing indicated that independent variables such as expectation- confirmation, perceived usefulness, and user satisfaction all exert a positive influence on the dependent variable, the intention for continuance intention. Thirdly, the influence of trust varied depending on the user's purpose in utilizing ChatGPT. trust was significant when ChatGPT is used for information retrieval but not for creative purposes. This study will be used to solve reliability problems in the process of introducing generative AI in society and companies in the future and to establish policies and derive improvement measures for successful employment.

  • Childcare support for working mothers is crucial for women's smooth transition into society, career development, and well-being. Based on interviews with 10 Korean working mothers with children aged 0-2, this paper explores the process of utilizing childcare support services, psychological experiences, and plans for work-life balance using the grounded theory analysis method. The analysis revealed three categories: the decision-making process before using the childcare services (past), experiences during the use of childcare support (present), and future plans for work-life balance (future). The decision-making process before using childcare support services consisted of the following categories: seeking information about childcare support services, having family discussions during the decision-making process, the proposer and decision-maker of the services, and the final decision on childcare support services. Experiences during the use of services included economic burdens, changes in postnatal career paths, disparities between expectations and the reality of pre- and post-childbirth, discrepancies between expectations and reality in work-family balance, factors affecting of quality of life, and the division of household and childcare responsibilities with husbands. Plans for future work-life balance included categories such as the desire for career advancement, the desire to maintain a career, the desire for temporary or reduced career commitment, and uncertainty regarding future career plans. Finally, the study investigated whether there were differences in the past and present service usage processes and experiences based on plans for future work-life balance. This research suggests the need for multidimensional support for working mothers' work-family balance and well-being, and highlights the need to reduce uncertainty about women's future careers.

  • In recent years, generative AI has made remarkable advancements and is being actively utilized in various fields to enhance work efficiency. However, despite the shortage of human resources and funding due to the "one-person archive system" in many domestic records management institutions, these institutions have shown a passive attitude toward adopting and utilizing generative AI as a tool for supporting their tasks. Therefore, the records management field should actively consider the adoption of generative AI to respond to technological changes and move towards more intelligent work processes. In particular, there is a need to derive practical and effective application strategies that incorporate the perspectives of field practitioners. This study aims to gather and analyze the opinions of records management professionals on applying generative AI to various records management tasks, proposing feasible application strategies. To this end, a survey and focus group interviews (FGI) were conducted with experienced records management professionals. The survey was conducted to collect detailed feedback on the expected benefits, usage frequency, and willingness to develop generative AI applications. Meanwhile, the FGIs aimed to refine and improve the proposed generative AI strategies, adding new features and adjustments to better align them with practical applications in the field. This study is significant in that it assesses the practical applicability of generative AI technologies in records management and proposes detailed improvement plans and application strategies, thus providing foundational data to improve work efficiency, accuracy, and satisfaction in records information services.

  • While the integration of chatbot and the simplification of financial terminology in Financial services' apps are increasingly common, automotive finance apps often show lower user satisfaction for complex terminol- ogy and rigid content. This study investigates the effects of chatbot interaction modes and the simplification of financial terminology on user experience in automotive finance apps. We developed prototypes for car lease tasks under different conditions: the type of user interaction channel (chatbot vs menu-based), and the usage of financial terminology. A 2 x 2 experimental survey was conducted to measure perceptions of friendliness, read- ability, trust, and accuracy. The findings revealed that chatbot interactions significantly enhance friendliness more than menu-based interactions, and simplifying terminology significantly improves readability and friendliness. However, no significant differences were observed in trust and accuracy between the conditions. Furthermore, nosignificant interaction effects were found between the two conditions across all variables. This study contributes by quantitatively assessing the impacts of chatbot consultation modes and terminology sim- plification on customer experience in financial services.

  • Software usability is a characteristic of the software that is decided based on learnability, effectiveness, and satisfaction when it is evaluated. The usability is a main factor of the software quality. A software has to be continuously improved by taking guidelines that comes from the usability evaluation. Usability factors may vary among the different software products and even for the same factor, the users may have different opinions according to their experience and knowledge. Therefore, a usability evaluation process must be developed with the consideration of many factors like various applications and users. Existing systems such as satisfaction evaluation and performance evaluation only evaluate the result and do not perform cause analysis. And also unified evaluation items and contents do not reflect the characteristics of the products. To address these problems, this paper presents a evaluation model that is based on the mental model of user and the problems, this paper presents a evaluation model that is based on the mental model of user and the emotion of users. This model uses evaluation factors of the user task which are extracted by analyzing usage of the target product. In the mental model approach, the conceptual model of designer and the mental model of the user are compared and the differences are taken as a gap also reported as a part to be improved in the future. In the emotional factor approach, the emotional factors are extracted for the target products and evaluated in terms of the emotional factors. With this proposed method, we can evaluate the software products with customized attributes of the products and deduce the guidelines for the future improvements. We also takes the GUI framework as a sample case and extracts the directions for improvement. As this model analyzes tasks of users and uses evaluation factors for each task, it is capable of not only reflecting the characteristics of the product, but exactly identifying the items that should be modified and improved.

  • This paper asks what the Selection Attributes of urban open space are which carries out a role as an Urban Entertainment Destination. Case studies have chosen the Cheonggyecheon Waterfront, Seoul Forest Park, Seonyudo Park and Banpo Hangang Park as the representative open spaces in Seoul. The methods of study are observation investigation, a literature investigation and the survey to 233 visitors that conducted the ANOVA analysis and Regression analysis by SPSS 18.0. As a result, first, the urban open space in Seoul has had 8 elements of UED; Landscape, Multi anchoring, Contextual links, Programmability, Community, Branded identity, Security and Service. Second, they are being used not the neighborhood type but a wide area type. Third, Landscape, Security and Service are most important while Programmability and Community are less important than other factors in EUOS factors. Lastly, it was analysed that the influential factor of revisitation and satisfaction is Landscape, which is the common factor. Security in revisitation and Contextual links in satisfaction are especially additional factors. The landscape property is an important element to make an Entertainment Urban Open Space(EUOS). The virtue of landscape in the EUOS relates not only park facility or program that installed in the place but also the overall mood involving park user's activities in the place. To be a successful EUOS, a park facility, program and the overall mood involving user's activities need to be integrative approach to enhance the virtue of landscape.

  • Fostering trusting belief in financial transactions is a challenging task in Internet banking services. Authenticated Certificate had been regarded as an effective method to guarantee the trusting belief for online transactions. However, previous research claimed that this method has some loopholes for such abusers as hackers, who intend to attack the financial accounts of innocent transactors in Internet. Two types of methods have been suggested as alternatives for securing user identification and activity in online financial services. Control transparency uses information over the transaction process to verify and to control the transactions. Outcome feedback, which refers to the specific information about exchange outcomes, provides information over final transaction results. By using these two methods, financial service providers can send signals to involved parties about the robustness of their security mechanisms. These two methods-control transparency and outcome feedback-have been widely used in the IS field to enhance the quality of IS services. In this research, we intend to verify that these two methods can also be used to reduce risks and to increase the security protections in online banking services. The purpose of this paper is to empirically test the effects of the control transparency and the outcome feedback on the risk perceptions in Internet banking services. Our assumption is that these two methods-control transparency and outcome feedback-can reduce perceived risks involved with online financial transactions, while increasing perceived trust over financial service providers. These changes in user attitudes can increase the level of user satisfactions, which may lead to the increased user loyalty as well as users' willingness to pay for the financial transactions. Previous research in IS suggested that the increased level of transparency on the process and the result of transactions can enhance the information quality and decision quality of IS users. Transparency helps IS users to acquire the information needed to control the transaction counterpart and thus to complete transaction successfully. It is also argued that transparency can reduce the perceived transaction risks in IS usage. Many IS researchers also argued that the trust can be generated by the institutional mechanisms. Trusting belief refers to the truster's belief for the trustee to have attributes for being beneficial to the truster. Institution-based trust plays an important role to enhance the probability of achieving a successful outcome. When a transactor regards the conditions crucial for the transaction success, he or she considers the condition providers as trustful, and thus eventually trust the others involved with such condition providers. In this process, transparency helps the transactor complete the transaction successfully. Through the investigation of these studies, we expect that the control transparency and outcome feedback can reduce the risk perception on transaction and enhance the trust with the service provider. Based on a theoretical framework of transparency and institution-based trust, we propose and test a research model by evaluating research hypotheses. We have conducted a laboratory experiment in order to validate our research model. Since the transparency artifact(control transparency and outcome feedback) is not yet adopted in online banking services, the general survey method could not be employed to verify our research model. We collected data from 138 experiment subjects who had experiences with online banking services. PLS is used to analyze the experiment data. The measurement model confirms that our data set has appropriate convergent and discriminant validity. The results of testing the structural model indicate that control transparency significantly enhances the trust and significantly reduces the risk perception of online banking users. The result also suggested that the outcome feedback significantly enhances the trust of users. We have found that the reduced risk and the increased trust level significantly improve the level of service satisfaction. The increased satisfaction finally leads to the increased loyalty and willingness to pay for the financial services.

  • The core service of most research portal sites is providing relevant research papers to various researchers that match their research interests. This kind of service may only be effective and easy to use when a user can provide correct and concrete information about a paper such as the title, authors, and keywords. However, unfortunately, most users of this service are not acquainted with concrete bibliographic information. It implies that most users inevitably experience repeated trial and error attempts of keyword-based search. Especially, retrieving a relevant research paper is more difficult when a user is novice in the research domain and does not know appropriate keywords. In this case, a user should perform iterative searches as follows : i) perform an initial search with an arbitrary keyword, ii) acquire related keywords from the retrieved papers, and iii) perform another search again with the acquired keywords. This usage pattern implies that the level of service quality and user satisfaction of a portal site are strongly affected by the level of keyword management and searching mechanism. To overcome this kind of inefficiency, some leading research portal sites adopt the association rule mining-based keyword recommendation service that is similar to the product recommendation of online shopping malls. However, keyword recommendation only based on association analysis has limitation that it can show only a simple and direct relationship between two keywords. In other words, the association analysis itself is unable to present the complex relationships among many keywords in some adjacent research areas. To overcome this limitation, we propose the hybrid approach for establishing association network among keywords used in research papers. The keyword association network can be established by the following phases : i) a set of keywords specified in a certain paper are regarded as co-purchased items, ii) perform association analysis for the keywords and extract frequent patterns of keywords that satisfy predefined thresholds of confidence, support, and lift, and iii) schematize the frequent keyword patterns as a network to show the core keywords of each research area and connecting keywords among two or more research areas. To estimate the practical application of our approach, we performed a simple experiment with 600 keywords. The keywords are extracted from 131 research papers published in five prominent Korean journals in 2009. In the experiment, we used the SAS Enterprise Miner for association analysis and the R software for social network analysis. As the final outcome, we presented a network diagram and a cluster dendrogram for the keyword association network. We summarized the results in Section 4 of this paper. The main contribution of our proposed approach can be found in the following aspects : i) the keyword network can provide an initial roadmap of a research area to researchers who are novice in the domain, ii) a researcher can grasp the distribution of many keywords neighboring to a certain keyword, and iii) researchers can get some idea for converging different research areas by observing connecting keywords in the keyword association network. Further studies should include the following. First, the current version of our approach does not implement a standard meta-dictionary. For practical use, homonyms, synonyms, and multilingual problems should be resolved with a standard meta-dictionary. Additionally, more clear guidelines for clustering research areas and defining core and connecting keywords should be provided. Finally, intensive experiments not only on Korean research papers but also on international papers should be performed in further studies.

  • This study is about the re-validation evaluation of the family Relationship Scale (FRS), developed to measure the family relationship in the social work practice. This study aims at re-validating the FRS, developed and validated in by Yang in 2001 for more general utilization. The sample was married mates and females residing in Seoul. For Face Validity, the content analysis was performed, and the FRS was re-validated in the dimensions of Love & Caring, Acceptance, and Recognition, positive affection, empathy, and autonomy and flexibility for each area. Internal reliability was .93, and internal consistency among three dimensions was 93%. For Empirical Validity, the Construct validity, the Criterion validity, and the Discriminant validity were performed. Construct Validity was validated through factor analyses. Commonalities for the factor analysis was 54%, and the factor loading for each factor was over .45. The confirmative factor analysis also confirmed the fitness of the scale. For Predictive Validity of Criterion Validity, regression analysis showed that the family stress scores became lower as the scores of the family relationship became higher; the discriminant analysis revealed that the family stress turned low ill tile group of high scores of family relationship. The Correlation analysis for Concurrent Validity was performed and the results showed the positive and significant relationship with a couple communication level (r=54) and a parent-child communication level (r=64). Life satisfaction and mental health level also revealed significantly positive correlation to prove Convergent Validity. Physical health level revealed a weak relationship with family relationship providing the evidence of Discriminant Validity. Discriminance was also proved by the analysis of variance with demographics. Thus, Cross Validation was confirmed the validation of the FRS through the various analyses with the married population. This study result improved the validity generalization of the Scale and verify the generalized usage of this sociometric scale in the field of social work practice.

  • All of the subjects of the investigation (n=141) were schools that have food services under direct management. The number of students who get food services at the schools were $1,001{\sim}1,500$ students with 46.8% investigation. In school food services, fried foods were highly preferred and the biggest merits of fried foods were (in order of highest importance) 'improvement of food services satisfaction'> 'source of calories supply'> 'easiness of cooking process'. Service frequency of fried food were in the order of 'twice a week'> 'three times a week'> 'once a week', and for the factors to decide service frequency of fried food, 'preference leaning on fried food', and 'excessive fat intake' were the most considered. The most considered factors in the case of choosing fried food were 'preference' and 'calories and nutritional value'. For the cautious steps during the frying process, 'keeping after frying' was picked the most, and the reasons were 'lack of containers to keep in appropriate temperature and quality' and 'time consuming'. For preference and service frequency of ingredients in fried foods, 'chicken' and 'pork' were very high. As the result, it was analyzed that preference by ingredients matched service in school lunches by using a ranking test. Total cooking and processing time of fried foods required in school lunches were approximately $237{\pm}99$ minutes ${\sim}291{\pm}141$ minutes which showed total required time was about same no matter what ingredients were used. As the result of comparing and analyzing the processes, vegetables took less thawing and frying time, but the processing time for vegetables was more complicated since handling time before frying was longer compared to meat. In the important management process by the main groups of fried foods, the frying process was the most cautious cooking process in the category of meat or fish and shellfish used as ingredients. In addition, if vegetables were used as ingredients, storing it after frying was the process that needed the most care.
