컴퓨터·정보(공)학 분야 졸업생의 CAC 인증성과 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on computer engineering graduates' perception of CAC(Computing Accreditation Committee) evaluation)

  • There's been few research to study the effects of CAC(Computing Accreditation Committee) evaluation, since start of CAC accreditation 10 years ago. The purpose of this paper is to find what computer engineering graduates perceive the effects of CAC accreditation and to suggest how CAC accreditation process can be improved. The research findings through survey are followings; First, computer engineering graduates' undergraduate education satisfaction is not high enough(3.28). Second, the computer engineering graduates don't recognize CAC accreditation necessary. Third, graduates who work in company chose design courses as the most helpful, while graduates who study in graduate school pursuing further career in master or doctor program chose major subjects. Lastly, graduates from accredited program do not think their completion of accreditation program influence their employment. Strategic approaches to make higher effectiveness of CAC accreditation system are suggested. First, improvement of curriculum and instruction method in CAC accredited program is required to satisfy the needs of students and industry. Second, efforts to inform students of understandings and necessity of accreditation are highly recommended. Third, industrial sector needs to understand CAC accreditation and give graduates from accredited program more incentives. Lastly, government support like Seoul Accord Activation Project should last for a while.

대학생의 생활 스트레스가 측두하악관절 장애에 미치는 영향 (Influence of life stress on Temporomandibular joint disorders in undergraduate students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors contributing to temporomandibular joint disorder symptoms. Methods: The survey was conducted from May 1 to June 10 2017 against college students(120 males and 123 females) in Daejeon and Gangwon who understood the purpose of this study and agreed to participate. Results: First, The most frequent symptom of temporomandibular joint disorders is noises from the joint (male 45%, female 61.8%), followed by headache or neck pain (male 25.8%, female 52.8%). There was shown a significant difference by gender in all items except for jaw dropping, poor alignment of teeth and trauma(p<0.05). Second, Looking into the correlation between stress and subjective symptoms of Temporomandibular joint disorders, The stress of Temporomandibular joint disorders showed more significant relation with realistic issues such as academic task, economic burden (e.g., treatment cost), future career, and life values rather than aspect of social relationship(p<0.01). Conclusion: As a result of analyzing variables to understand the influence of stress on temporomandibular joint disorders, the accumulated number of bad habits, stress and temporomandibular joint disorders showed a significantly positive correlation with one another (p<0.05). In other words, the higher the stress level the severe the temporomandibular joint disorders; the more the bad habits the severe the temporomandibular joint disorders;

기본의학교육에서 동료지원학습의 활용과 효과 (Utilization and Effects of Peer-Assisted Learning in Basic Medical Education)

  • This review of the literature explored the experiences and effects of peer-assisted learning in basic medical education. Peer-assisted learning is most commonly utilized to teach clinical skills (including technical skills) and medical knowledge (76.4%). It has also been used, albeit less frequently, to facilitate small-group discussions including problem-based learning, to promote students' personal and professional development, to provide mentoring for career development and adaptation to school, to give tutoring to at-risk students, and to implement work-based learning in clinical settings. Near-peer learning is a common type. The use of active learning techniques and digital technology has been increasingly reported. Students' leadership had frequently been described. Student tutor training, programs for teaching skills, institutional support, and assessments have been conducted for effective peer-assisted learning. There is considerable positive evidence that peer-assisted learning is effective in teaching simple clinical skills and medical knowledge for tutees. However, its effects on complex skills and knowledge, small-group discussions, personal and professional development, peer mentoring, and work-based learning have rarely been studied. Additionally, little evidence exists regarding whether peer-assisted learning is effective for student tutors. Further research is needed to develop peer-assisted learning programs and to investigate their learning effects on student tutors, small-group discussion facilitation, personal and professional development, peer mentoring, and peer-led work-based learning in the clinical setting in South Korea. Formal programs and system advancement for a student-led learning culture is needed for effective peer-assisted learning.

약사의 전문직업성개발과 약학대학의 역할 (Continuing Professional Development of Pharmacists and The Roles of Pharmacy Schools)

  • Pharmacists should maintain professional competencies to provide optimal pharmaceutical care services to patients, which can be achieved through continued commitment to lifelong learning. Traditionally continuing education (CE) has been widely used as a way of lifelong learning for many healthcare professionals. It, however, has several limitations. CE is delivered in the form of instructor-led education focused on multiple learners. Learning is passive and reactive for participants, so it sometimes does not lead to bringing behavioral changes in workplace performance. Therefore, recently the concept of lifelong learning tends to move from CE toward continuing professional development (CPD). CPD is an ongoing process that improves knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout a professional's career. It is a more comprehensive structured approach toward the enhancement of personal competencies. It emphasizes an individual's learning needs and goals and enables learning to become proactive, conscious, and self-directed. CPD consists of four stages: reflect, plan, learn, and evaluate. CE is one component of CPD. Each stage is recorded in a CPD portfolio. There are many practical difficulties in implementing the complete CPD system for lifelong learning of pharmacists in many countries including Korea. Applying a hybrid form that utilizes CPD and CE together, as in the case of some countries, could be an alternative. Furthermore, in undergraduate pharmacy education, it is necessary to teach students about CPD and train them on how to perform CPD as a pharmacist.

부산대학교 의과대학 코호트 구축과 운영 사례 (Cohort Establishment and Operation at Pusan National University School of Medicine)

  • Pusan National University School of Medicine (PNUSOM) began analyzing the cohort of pre-medical students admitted in 2015 and has been conducting purposeful analyses for the past 3 years. The aim of this paper is to introduce the process of cohort establishment, cohort composition, and the utilization of cohort analysis results. PNUSOM did not initially form a cohort with a purpose or through a systematic process, but was able to collect longitudinal data on students through the establishment of a Medical Education Information System and an organization that supports medical education. Cohort construction at our university is different in terms of a clear orientation toward research questions, flexibility in cohort composition, and subsequent guideline supplementation. We investigated the relevance of admission factors, performance improvements, satisfaction with the educational environment, and promotion and failure rate in undergraduate students, as well as performance levels and career paths in graduates. The results were presented to the Admissions Committee, Curriculum Committee, Learning Outcomes Committee, and Student Guidance Committee to be used as a basis for innovations and improvements in education. Since cohort studies require long-term efforts, it is necessary to ensure the efficiency of data collection for graduate cohorts, as well as the validity and ethics of the study.

일부 치위생과 학생의 자아존중감 및 자기효능감이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The effect of self-esteem, self-efficacy on the college life adjustments of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: This study aims at analyzing relationships between college life adoption, self-efficacy, and self-esteem in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene to explore the ways to prevent college dropouts and promote and support college life adaptation. Methods: This study was made with the use of a self-completion questionnaire with 200 undergraduate students, aged 19 or older, majored in dental hygiene in three colleges situated in Gyeonggi-do, from September 02 to 11, 2019. The results were analyzed using the SPSS Program Version 22.0. Results: First, the degree of college life adaptation in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene was found to be the highest, in those who were under 20 years old and first grade, decided to major in dental hygiene because of 'its aptitude and future career', and graduated from general high school and with a high economic level. Second, the degree of college life adoption was found to be the highest in the third grade in terms of social adaptation, and of the first grade was higher than the second grade. Third, as for the degree of attachment to college, it was revealed to be the highest in those decided to major in dental hygiene because of 'its aptitude and future career', and the degrees of academic adaptation, emotional adaptation, and attachment to college were found to be higher in general high school graduates than specialized high school graduates. Fourth, the factor having the most significant influence on college life adaptation in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene was found to be self-efficacy, followed by self-esteem and economic level. Conclusion: From these results, it is possible to assume that when developing programs to prevent college dropouts in undergraduates majored in dental hygiene, it should consider their high schools, school grades, and motivations to decide to major in dental hygiene. In addition, in order to take an educational approach to raise self-esteem and self-efficacy in career decision making to raise the degree of college life adaptation.

대학생들의 상담심리학 전공 인식에 관한 질적 연구 (The Qualitative Study on the Counseling Psychology Major Recognition of University Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 상담심리학 전공 인식에 관하여 Glaser의 근거이론 방법을 활용하였다. 상담심리학을 전공하는 3, 4학년 학생 중에서 19명의 학생이 연구에 참여하였는데, 5개월 동안 이들을 중심으로 개별 인터뷰 과정을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과로는 103개의 개념, 26개의 하위범주, 9개의 상위 범주, 1개의 핵심 범주가 도출되었다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 참여자들은 사람들의 마음의 짐을 덜어주고 싶고, 치료자가 되고 싶은 희망을 품고 있었다. 둘째, 참여자 중에는 전공영역에 대한 자신의 성격과 적성면에서 '전공과 잘 어울린다.' '잘 선택했다.' '삶의 전환점이 되었다.' 등의 기쁨과 만족으로 인식하고 있었다. 그러나 적성의 부조화, 상담사 역할의 부담감, 전공에 대한 거부감 등, 전공의 부적합성을 인식하기도 하였다. 셋째, 참여자들이 전공 학습에서 유용성을 발휘하였을지라도 전공영역의 진로에 대한 인식은 고민과 갈등으로 작용하고 있었는데, 이들의 고민과 갈등은 앞으로 장기간 공부함으로 생기는 금전적 어려움, 직업적 열악한 조건, 감정소모가 심한 직업에 대한 부담감, 상담직에 대한 두려움, 학부 졸업의 한계, 진로의 불확실성 등에 관한 인식으로 전공 진로 선택의 걸림돌로 작용하였다. 넷째, 참여자들의 인터뷰 자료들을 분석한 결과 '이해와 성장 그리고 상담사의 꿈 실현 의지'라고 하는 핵심 범주를 도출하였다. 결론적으로 참여자들이 가진 전공 인식은 자신에 대한 변화와 성장 그리고 타인과의 건강한 관계 형성, 더불어 전공과 자신의 적성과의 적합성에 대한 만족 등은 진로에 대한 고민과 갈등 상황에서도 전문 상담사의 꿈을 실현하기 위한 지속적인 의지를 간직하는 것으로 드러났다.

제4차 산업혁명 시대에서의 대학 교육 및 운영에 관한 연구 동향과 사례 (Domestic Research Trends and Cases of University Education and Operation in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution)

  • 본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명 시대에서의 국내 대학 관련 연구, 교육 및 산학연협력 등에 대한 연구동향과 사례를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 2016년부터 2019년 4월까지 등재학술지에 게재된 학술논문 114편과 신문기사 및 대학 홈페이지 등을 통해 수집된 사례를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 연구동향에 있어서는 2016년 이후 관련 논문 수가 증가하고 있었고, 테크놀로지, 교육과정, 교수학습 등을 주제로, 양적연구, 문헌연구를 활용하여 융복합 및 인문사회 분야 학술지에 주로 게재되고 있었다. 교육 및 운영 동향에 있어서는 이공 및 보건 계열 중심의 학부나 전공 개편이 노력이 활발하며, 학습자 참여와 수행을 강조하는 교수학습과 절대평가의 도입을 적극 검토하고 있었으며, 채봇이나 클라우드 컴퓨팅 방식을 도입하여 학사 및 진로 안내를 최적화하려는 노력을 하고 있었고, 이공계열 분야에 초점을 둔 산학연협력이 활발하게 진행되고 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명 관련 진로 및 취업과 산학협력에 대한 연구, 학사관리와 인프라 구축, 학생 및 교수자 관련 변수 간 관계 연구, 질적연구와 혼합연구를 활용한 연구가 활성화될 필요가 있다.

대학생의 IT 기술창업의지 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis of Factors on College Students' IT Technology Startups will)

  • 최근 창업 휴학제와 창업 강좌 등 창업 친화적인 학사제도가 확산대면서 대학생 기술 창업이 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 대학생의 기술창업이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 아직까지 해결되어야 할 많은 문제들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 높은 실업율과 평생취업이 힘든 사회적 환경 속에서 IT전공 대학생들이 기술 창업을 활성화하기 위한 창업영향요인들을 알아보고, 창업영향요인과 기술창업의지와의 관계를 분석한다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 IT전공 대학생을 대상으로 기술창업의지에 영향을 미치는 대학생의 기술능력과 창업가특성 및 창업동기, 외부창업환경 등의 평가 항목을 추출하여 IT 기술창업에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 분석결과, IT전공 대학생들은 취업의 대안으로 기술창업에 관심이 높았고, 기술능력과 창업가 특성 및 창업동기가 독립심과 취업의 대안에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 대학생 기술 창업에서 창업교육은 외부창업환경에 따라 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

보건의료행정 전공 대학생의 직업가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인 (College Life Adjustment Factors Affecting the Work Values of Public Health Major Student)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보건의료행정 전공 학생들이 인식하는 직업가치와 대학생활 적응과의 관계를 살펴보고, 직업가치를 높이기 위한 대학생활적응 요인들을 파악하여 진로지도의 효과적인 개입 방안에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 경기도에 소재한 보건의료행정과 362명과 공학계열 168명 대학생을 대상으로 조사하였고, t-test, 상관관계, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들이 인식하는 직업 가치 중 내적가치는 대학생활적응 요인 모두와 정의 상관관계를 나타내었으나 외적가치는 교수와 학생의 상호 작용 관계에서 부의 상관관계로 나타났다. 둘째, 내적가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인은 사회적 통합, 교수와의 상호작용, 학교지원 서비스 기대로 나타났다. 셋째, 외적가치에 영향을 미치는 대학생활적응 요인은 진로정체성, 가정지원, 대학만족도로 나타났다. 본 연구는 전공에 따라 직업가치에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하였고, 진로교육 및 지도의 필요성을 제시하였다.
