  • With rapid development and contribution of IT technology IT fushion healthcare service which is a form of future care has been changed a lot. Specially, as IT technology unites with healthcare, because delicate personal medical information is exposed and user's privacy is invaded, we need preperation. In this paper, u-healthcare service model which can manage patient's ID information as user's condition and access level is proposed to protect user's privacy. The proposed model is distinguished by identification, certification of hospital, access control of medical record, and diagnosis of patient to utilize it efficiently in real life. Also, it prevents leak of medical record and invasion of privacy by others by adapting user's ID as divided by user's security level and authority to protect privacy on user's information shared by hospitals.

  • Recently, it is emerging in computing industry related ubiquitous. Also U-Healthcare system develops rapidly based on this trends. It is required system of health-status information to check user's health information on real-time and wireless network environment. Consequently, in this paper propose a health-Information system based on wireless and real-time environment. It can check a tremor pulse with method of photo-plethysmography. It convert pulse state information into 2-dimension bar code in order to confirm health information using mobile and also this system provide service of pulse visual record and explanation from specialist with MMS.

  • This study is the analysis of characteristics of hospital space for the holistic healing environment of children on the basis of the healing theory on emotion of Max L$\ddot{u}$scher and the healing theory on senses of Rudolf Steiner of the overseas children's hospitals. According to the theory of Rudolf Steiner, children make comprehensive advancement of physical, spirit and soul through the interaction of 12 senses. In addition, Max Luscher asserts that the psychological health can be maintained when the 4 emotional status in content, confidence, self-esteem and liberty make the balance. The 4 elements of Luscher have correspond with spatial expression elements for refuge, flow, prospect and void, and this is analyzed in conjunction with the eight kinds of behavior affordance of ying and yang (-, +) that helps our the advancement of 12 senses of Steiner. WORK & STUDY(+), REST(-), MOBILITY(+), VISUAL SEQUENCE(-), SOCIAL EXCHANGE(+), REFRESHMENT(-), COMMUNITY(+) and MEDITATION (-) would be the 8 kinds of behavioral affordances to make the healing environment as presented in this study and the case analysis for children's hospitals have been undertaken.

  • Recently, Ubiquitous innovation is being promoted so that they can support the uHealthcare provide management to human's health. It is thus necessary to conduct such research on the medical care environment where there is a high demand for utilization of status information. In the current situation, there is a lack of research on measures of security processing and monitoring patient status information produced from rapid growth of infra within Medical environment. This study suggests a solution of using RFID to gather patient information such as inpatient information, location of treatment room, progress of patient, humidity, temperature, and diagnostic status, after which the information are protect and processed using security level method.

  • Various studies on individual health-care application services have been lively going on due to recent development of information and communication technology and improvement of life quality. Moreover, U-health care area is emerging as a new growth industry as the demand of U-health care service for a quality life grows with the development of medical technology and ubiquitous environment. U-health care system for crew members on ships, who need to spend much time on sea far from their families, is especially needed because they find their job much more stressful not only physically but also mentally than any other people in different jobs do and have less chance to get proper medical services in time. In this paper, we suggested how to get more accurate and objective U-health wellbeing index by complementing SF-36, the general heath care index model in order to managing health of crew. Also we designed the U-health wellbeing index service system which can provide appropriate sports programs or diet contents according to health index.

  • As the hospital environment has been increasingly changed into a ubiquitous environment, the application services for the hospital environment are also faced with new requirements. In particular, the emergence of various mobile devices and the introduction of a wireless sensor network technology have accelerated the realization of the u-healthcare. The multi-agent paradigm has been introduced for satisfying both the integration of information and the various application scenarios established from various environments. This paper describes the software structure and u-applications for u-hospital information system based on ubiquitous environments. And it suggested the construction of a multi agent based distributed framework for supporting u-hospital information system. The suggested framework includes the JADE and distributed object group framework. And it implemented u-application services for supporting doctors and nurses, which provides the patient's health information and ward environment information. Especially, it is using a dynamic security mechanism on the security situation, which has not been emphasized in existing researches, and this paper shows the results for each user through the GUI.

  • Purpose: This study sought to ascertain and describe u-Health nurses (ubiquitous healthcare nurse, tele-nurse)' experiences working with low-income elders in Korea. Methods: Data were collected through semi-structured interview, focus group interviews of 6 nurses and participant observations in community places in public rental housing in the city of Seoul. The ethnographical analysis method, proposed by Spradley, was used to analyze interview data. Results: We identified two major clusters of themes on common issues and concerns experienced by nurses: "work environment" and "daily work life." In addition, ten themes and fourteen sub-themes were extracted from the field work data. Conclusion: The study provided a deeper understanding of the experiences and services of u-Health nurses in Korea, of which much remains to be understood, as the healthcare services they currently provide are limited. Moreover, its findings could empower novice nurses and expand nurse's professional knowledge and competence.

  • Studies on human-centered services are approaching their highest peak with the emergence of a new concept of the network environment, a ubiquitous environment. Among these ubiquitous service technologies, services related to health care are very closely related to the current social environment. In this paper, With social aging and changes in ubiquitous IT environment, studies on health care, which is among the essential application services and which has been defined as a key application technology, and studies related to it have been conducted. In addition, healthcare services, which are essentially applicable to the ubiquitous environment, were suggested by analyzing existing healthcare studies and drawing from them the requirements for such. This paper proposes management protocol for serious case except from health care research. This system is constructed database using RFID, it has location information. It provides procedures to consistently monitor the status of patients and process the outcome in real-time.

  • Purpose - The aim of this paper is to examine the newly formed a partnership of Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway (Berkshire) and JPMorgan through the lens of strategic alliance, corporate philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility. Research design, data, and methodology - This is an analytical case study that examines the existing scholarly articles in strategic alliances, corporate philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility to explain the recent strategic alliance. Results - There is a clear limitation in explaining this type of unconventional strategic alliance with exiting definitions and concepts because there is no existing study or case available today. Forming a strategic business alliance to create and operate healthcare for their domestic employees could be viewed as a social innovation that resulted from an effort to resolve a social problem, the ineffective healthcare system in the U.S., rather than focusing on business benefits and profits. Conclusions - The success or failure of this type of business alliance would certainly affect the current healthcare system of the United States and global businesses and healthcare industries in the future. However, just entering or tapping into uncharted territory by these three companies to deal with a social issue is significant enough to merit further exploration and analysis for scholars and practitioners.

  • U-health care services have been attracted to effectively solve some problems in promoting health and preparing aging society. Although the recent U-health care services have been developed to treat diseases, it requires environment information related to health for preventing fundamental diseases and for promoting health. In this study, a U-health environment service that reflects context recognition information is proposed. The proposed service draws environment information using local weather and healthcare information in users' residential areas. In the context recognition based U-health environment services, various services are provided to users not only health, living weather based menu, and exercise services but user location based warning messages for dangerous regions and remote emergency services. That is, based on such context recognition, some events that are to be occurred to users are detected and then it will provide proper services. Thus, it improves the satisfaction of U-health services and its service qualities.
