In this paper, we design IP of ATM AAL layer for B-ISDN. The designed ATM AAL module supports the function for AAL type 0, AAL type 3/4, AAL type 5. The designed IP provides for automatic CRC-32 and CRC-10 for AAL type and AAL type 3/4. Also our IP inserts and extracts the header and trailer for each type automatically. After HDL description, it is verified by the simulation. The designed U is implemented in Xilinx FPGA. Rx AAL module operates at 35MHz and Rx AAL module operates at 50MHz. The designed IP can be applicable in high-speed ATM SAR(Segmentation and Reassembly) chip.

This study is carried out in order to investigate to the physical property of Castella. The material is 19 kinds of Castella on the market in Kyushu area.As an result of the sensory evaluation for Castella, it could be classified into 3 types ; a) high grade, C) low grade, and B) midium grade.The results are summarized as follow. The water content of 3 type Castella was most 26-30% but Korea's was more lower . ΔE of A an dB type Castella was similiar , but A and C types was very different. in the Creep test, 3 types are all the 6-element Voigt model, consisting of Hookean body , Newtonian body and two sets of Voigt body. Eo of A type is 13-36% higher than other types. The parts of retardation strain of A type are 21-41% lower than B type, 8-13% higher than C type, respectively.

In the present investigation, the improvement of processing efficiency in the high speed machining of GC250 is explored. This study is to evaluate the tool performance in difficult-to-material using the new developed tool. Tool performance evaluation are conducted by tool wear, surface roughness, chattering in machined surface. The tool wear of A type was smaller than B type. In type B tool the chatter mark was observed in machined surface. The good surface roughness was obtained in type A tool. Consequently, the tool performance of A type is better than B type.

Mutation in HNF1B, the hepatocyte nuclear factor-$1{\beta}$ (HNF-$1{\beta}$) gene, results in maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) 5, which is characterized by gradual impairment of insulin secretion. However, the functional role of HNF-$1{\beta}$ in insulin secretion and glucose metabolism is not fully understood. We identified a family with early-onset diabetes that fulfilled the criteria of MODY. Sanger sequencing revealed that a heterozygous P159L (CCT to CTT in codon 159 in the DNA-binding domain) mutation in HNF1B was segregated according to the affected status. To investigate the functional consequences of this HNF1B mutation, we generated a P159L HNF1B construct. The wild-type and mutant HNF1B constructs were transfected into COS-7 cells in the presence of the promoter sequence of human glucose transporter type 2 (GLUT2). The luciferase reporter assay revealed that P159L HNF1B had decreased transcriptional activity compared to wild-type (p < 0.05). Electrophoretic mobility shift assay showed reduced DNA binding activity of P159L HNF1B. In the MIN6 pancreatic ${\beta}$-cell line, overexpression of the P159L mutant was significantly associated with decreased mRNA levels of GLUT2 compared to wild-type (p < 0.05). However, INS expression was not different between the wild-type and mutant HNF1B constructs. These findings suggests that the impaired insulin secretion in this family with the P159L HNF1B mutation may be related to altered GLUT2 expression in ${\beta}$-cells rather than decreased insulin gene expression. In conclusion, we have identified a Korean family with an HNF1B mutation and characterized its effect on the pathogenesis of diabetes.

In this paper we introduce the integral type Lupas-$B{\acute{e}}zier$ operator $\tilde{B}_{n,{\alpha}}$, which is a new approximation operator of probabilistic type. We study the rate of pointwise convergence of the operators $\tilde{B}_{n,{\alpha}}$ for local bounded functions and get an asymptotically estimate by means of some methods and techniques of probability theory.

A 42-year-old Marfan female had a chronic dissection of the descending aorta[Type B and the aneurysmal expansion of the descending aorta caused compression of the trachea resulting in respiratory distress which mimicked bronchial asthma. The patient has been successfully managed by resection and replacement of the aneurysm in the descending aorta. The operation could be done without the aid of the partial cardiopumonary bypass. As the patient had been prepared by unilateral axillo-bifemoral by-pass using prosthetic graft 8mm in diameter 10days prior to the main operation.

Nd-Fe-B Permanent Magnet, which is recently more used, has some advantages in comparison with other permanent magnet. However, for the Nd-Fe-B has higher RTC(reversible temperature coefficient), property of the Nd-Fe-B magnet is changed by temperature rise. In this paper temperature rise of a disc type motor is calculated using a heat source network method.

본 논문에서는 확률 최적 제어문제에서 발생되는 Elliptic type H-J-B(Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman) 방정식에 대한 수치해를 구하였다. 수치해를 구하기 위하여 Contraction 사상 및 유한차분법을 이용하였으며, 시스템은 It/sub ∧/ 형태의 Stochastic 방정식으로 취하였다. 수치해는 수학적인 테스트 케이스를 설정하여 검증하였으며, 최적제어 Map을 방정식의 해를 구하면서 동시에 구하였다.

This present paper extends some fixed point theorems in rectangular b-metric spaces using subadditive altering distance and establishing the existence and uniqueness of fixed point for Kannan type mappings. Non-trivial examples are further provided to support the hypotheses of our results.

In order to measure runoff and soil losses produced in a small test plot during rainfall, it is usually insufficient to use a tank only, necessitating the combined use of a main tank and a subsidiary tank. Accordingly. exact measurement largely depends on how to connect those two measuring tanks. The main purpose of this thesis is to improve the connecting parts of two measuring tanks so as to assure exact measurement of runoff and soil losses. In this experiment, two types of main tank, i. e. A-type and B-type, were used. A-type is a square tank having a flume at its end. At the flume, ten apertures are provided by using metal columns so as to be able to catch one tenth of total muddy flow discharging at the end of the flume, One tenth of total flow is led to the subsidiary tank through a slot sampler fixed to an aperture. B-type differes in that its flume does not have apertures and slot sampler is fixed directly to the end of the flume, other features being the same as those of A-type. Discharge volumes were measured by using weighing tanks and compared. The effect of baffle screen provided in the flume was also observed in connection with exact measurements. In order to keep main tank and its flume in a horizontal position, bolts and nuts mechanism was used. Vertical and horizontal screens were provided in the main to prevent coarse sands coming into the flume. The conclusion derived through this experiment is as follows: (1) The discharge through slot sampler at each aperture is almost the same for A-type. However, it is slightly more than one tenth of total discharge volume. (2) In case that baffle screen is provided in the flume of A-type tank, the discharge volume of slot sampler is less than that of the same type without screen. (3) For B-type tank, slot sampler discharge increases as slot sampler nears toward the center of flume. (4) When baffle screen is provided in the flume of B-type, slot sampler discharge is less than that of the same type without screen, and this phenomenon is more apparent as compared with A-type. (5) In case that the slot width of slot sampler for B-type is one inch, slot sampler discharge exceeds one tenth of total discharge volume. (6) When the slot width for B-type is 15/16 inch and slot sampler is fixed 3/8 inch apart from either flume wall, slot sampler discharge is approximately equal to one tenth of total discharge volume.
